6th august: regency AU dimity

i wanted this to be a ship picture, but i ran out of time so i might reblog it another day with arabella or hecate or julie?? anyway i love the idea of dimity as a butch regency dandy and this is her in a state of undress (oh my!)

i don’t know how to draw legs or feet (or people!). in fact i should emphasise that i never draw freehand (usually with a vector program perfectly adjusting line by line), but in this sketch month i’m really trying my best to do these with a stylus! there is a reason i’m a writer not an artist but yes i just loved this concept and wanted to bring my knowledge of historical costuming to it
