i also feel like i should clarify what i mean by "florian's main goal." in mjverse, (aka my interpretations of the game's universe,) florian & juliana are siblings and essentially act as co-protagonists. while juliana is the more talented battler of the two and ends up serving as the main protagonist of the victory road & starfall street storylines because of that, florian wants to become a pokémon professor so he focuses on helping out arven in the path of legends storyline while filling out the pokédex. the only reason why he's a competent trainer is so that he doesn't get completely bodied by wild pokémon in the midst of doing field research. and yes, knowing that probably ends up making kieran's complex about his own skills as a trainer even worse.

I always loved the idea that Frisk befriends a lot of the anomalies, including player and xchara and they do like to travel with them. WHENEVER SOMEONE MENTIONS CORE FRISK’S FRIENDS NOT JS IN THE OT IM JS LIKE “they’re friends with every fucking person who is considered a threat.” anyways besides their little hc friendship going on.

Core definitely left them at the anti void without rrror saying yes to it, they were js like “oh yea that’s ur problem now.” AND DO NOT FROONT THESE PEOPLE R THE WORST. Player and XChara are always hacking something or stealing from Error, Reaper and Neutral are just straight up fuckwads. Personal space, NOPE! Neutral isn’t doing it to annoying Error, he’s just curious, Reaper is doing it for every wrong reason. But eventually they all group up and start discussing Error’s phobia with the conclusions being “it’s real but he’s also mentally ill.” And then core literally js comes back to them having a fullblowj discussion about it.

what if because dust and horror wouldn't wanna be called anything aside from sans in a multiverse context and they were both good buddies they both just start calling eachother sans. i'm sans (dust) and i'm sans (horror) ahh duo

and dust ALSO sees himself as sans!!! like,,, granted he's definitely not a better sans than he was before considering everything he did (but he still doesn't like his past self's inaction) but he's STILL SANS. nothing about him changed (really?) enough to warrant the whole identity shift. like dude dont discredit him DONT DENY HIS WHOLE LIFE!!! he IS sans no matter what,,, dust doesnt wanna think about what he became if he's not sans now anyways lul :3

now could they fight over the right to the identity of sans??? possibly,,, but also consider this: there are literally infinite numbers of sanses in the multiverse. at some point the shiny title of Sans would be something horror and dust are used to around the multiverse!!! so why fight over the name (that so many others share already so its not exactly exclusive) when they can just decide to make each other feel better!!! be delusional TOGETHER 🤞

replaying the drinks moment in baxter’s dlc and, in case you’ve forgotten, i must point out how absolutely perfect the hypocrisy of baxter during the comedy of errors is.

he tells the bartender character “it can be hard to know what to do in these situations. but the important thing is that it’s making you unhappy. once you realize that, it should at least be obvious what not to continue doing. dancing around your feelings like this” (great baw dancing ref btw) “will only lead further and further from what you want. so why stick to the same old tune? if you like the charming singer, then what could you ever have to gain by insisting otherwise? you don’t need to propose, or anything equally drastic, but why push her away, when all you want is to get closer?”

he specifically ends the exchange with the iconic line: “when the time comes, don’t pull away. you’ll only regret it later.”

after the play is over, he adds, “it’s so obvious from the outside, the way the characters let their pride become an obstacle to their own happiness. as i said before, if they want each other so desperately, what point is there in saying the opposite? it’s plainly not right, to yourself and the one you care for.”

and of course, if you choose to ask him “are you saying you’ve never pretended to be something you’re not?”, he acts all mysterious and ends the topic with a simple “no comment.”

this moment is SOOOO essential on a replay after experiencing baxter’s epilogue. the way that baxter completely understands the concept of what he’s doing wrong from an outside perspective, but perceives himself as so flawed that he doesn’t deserve the same level of attentiveness to his own desires. this moment is obviously referenced and discussed during the epilogue, but holy shit does it hit so much harder after truly understanding baxter’s character. dare i say one of the most brilliant aspects to this already amazing game

Its become glaringly obvious too that Toriel nor Asgore only ever mention Chara once, and it fucking annoys me.

Asgore will mention "the day after my son died," "I just want to see my son again," but not one single mention of the human child that died under their care until you spare him, and then it's "The human child that fell here long ago." Which one, old man?

Maybe he's compartmentalizing to be able to kill other human children or he blames Chara on some level, but fuck. Asriel/Flowey is the only one who mentions Chara by name, and the monsters at the castle are the only other ones that mention them at all, even though Alphys clearly knows about them from the tapes...

Chara so obviously colors their life too. Toriel leaving and trying to save any children that fell in the ruins as an act of penance, taking Chara's body with her and burying them where we first fell, literally making Chara's death soften our fall. Asgore ruling from a throne room covered in Chara's golden flowers, keeping Chara's fucking casket in his basement with the other children- implying he wasn't gonna bury them? I'm just. I get that they couldnt say Chara's name or itd fuck up the plot twist of Frisk, but not even "my children-" or "the first human child- my human child" at the same time he talked about Asriel? Nothing?

No wonder Flowey kills Asgore when he offers to become your family with Toriel. The fucking hypocrisy.

i need to say i haven't posted stuff in a while but i haven't stopped thinking daily about enstars, it's just health that has gotten in the way ;; especially leo. oh leo. i've fallen even deeper for leo oh gosh. actually, the last poll i made was meant to be some sort of way to,, test the waters. maybe. for a little comeback and revamp i've had prepared for ages (i even have new graphics!! yay!!)

a lot of the friends i have made in here have moved on to different things (big kiss to my enstars moots i love you) and i'm just. unsure if people do genuinely enjoy this because i have a million ideas (are they mostly knights related? maybe) and i'd like to get back into writing and doing requests but sometimes it feels a little lonely. like you're just talking to the void and hoping for a little wave back www
