Kind of don't understand how I did so much today and how I'm not even wanting to collapse rn. I think I still have like adrenaline/babygirl needs watching instinctual feeling so I can't rest
#While Olive was at the vet's....#I got my tire changed#Then i called around for quotes on brake pads and found a really good one#and got my brake pads changed (and my rotors and hardware and brake fluid)#(Of which I got a REALLY good deal on and wuldve paid this same amount just for the brakes most places)#And I got a large dog cage for babygirl to stay in while she recovers (vet says she needs her movement restricted)#And I picked girl up from vets. Set up cage. Let her go in. And now I'm home#Ummmm a LOT of this I put on my credit card. Of which I am a little worried about#But I didn't stop today. Eating dinner now. Hoping to shower and relax a bit before sleeping

#istg if i find out i have colon cancer three days after i reduced my insurance coverage imma bite someone#and i'll be really hungry after fasting for 36 hours so i might not stop biting#in other news our shower diverter exploded when i turned it on tonight#so we had to race 30 mins across the county to get to the only hardware store that was still open#and then i got the replacement installed and discovered after rolling around in rusty water for 20 min the part wasn't the right size#so i technically broke it enough to be functional for us to shower until i can get a new one ordered#the punchline?#our housing inspection was YESTERDAY#there was a maintenance dude in our place checking that everything worked YESTERDAY

Real luffa smells amazing omg
#I think they need to be replaced more often but they’re better for the planet AND I can get them for dirt cheap at a local store#I feel refreshed and at one with nature#I’ve never used a loofah for any consistent length of time before. I never liked the plastic ones because they felt weird to scrub with#I didn’t feel like they were doing anything because they were too soft#This natural one scrubbed my soul straight out of my body and turned my skin bright red; it’s amazing#AND it smells like a sweetgrass meadow#Kind of like how Slavic bathhouses offer sticks to beat yourself with to improve circulation (I forget what they’re called)#Yeah. I feel very circulated lol#Although I do scrub my skin really hard because I enjoy the absolute roughest textures ever#(I stroke those metal wire sanding discs with my thumb whenever I go to the hardware store#and I have a stiff metal scourer I found in the high school showers that I like to squish and grind my fingertips into)#The luffa experience is probably as gentle or intense as you make it; so don’t be put off by this post if you want to try it#but maybe don’t like super rough things#It can be rough if you scrub super hard like I do; but if you don’t it probably won’t be as harsh#It can be yuor angle or your devil
