cw: Shouto Todoroki x Reader, wc ~3.2k
disclaimers ;3 - angst, misunderstandings, & fluff!
Tumblr media
It was no secret amongst UA students that you and Todoroki were attached at the hip. A better way to describe it would be that you frequently tugged on the boy, yelling his ear off, rambling, training together, and the like.
It wasn't always that way, of course. At the beginning of your first year at UA, you and the half-hot half-cold boy did not get off to a good start. You showed him your well-practiced friend-making kindness, he responded in a not-so-nice manner, saying that he didn't care for friends in such a condescending voice, and you decided that you didn't like him. That decision lasted less than a month though, when he later apologized for his coldness and you forgave him. You were never one to forgive easily, so it came as a shock to you to see yourself immediately accepting his apology. How come?
Your relationship with Todoroki only went up from there. It started with being paired as training partners which turned into exchanging books and studying together, walking to class together, hanging out together, eating lunch together, and doing just practically about everything together. You attached yourself to the dual-color haired boy, even giving him his own cute nickname of sorts. Todoroki had never said outright that he hated it. In fact, if you had to guess, you would've thought he was okay with it--liked it even. (But now, that assumption only feels like your biggest mistake.)
It's a morning like any other. You trudge down the hall of your school, mentally dreading entering the classroom. You told Todoroki not to wait for you as you wanted to get to class a bit earlier. (You two had a habit of making it to class just by the bell, wasting copious amounts of time talking through breakfast.) You wanted to stop by the support course to pick up a part of your hero costume, and you knew it wouldn't be possible to if you had waited for the boy. You giggle lightly to yourself thinking about the face 'Roki will make when he sees the new addition to your costume. You're about to turn the corner when you hear a string of familiar voices. It makes you stop dead in your tracks. Curiosity always got the better of you. You quickly recognize the voices to be Kaminari, Kirishima, Midoriya, Iida, and Todoroki. You smile lightly to yourself, thinking what an odd combo it seems to make. Your smile drops almost immediately, though.
"Everyone seems over the edge these days with exams coming up, huh Prez? Whaddya say about us holding a class study session?" You hear Kaminari suggest. "I don't think that would be efficient nor effective! We also have to consider if some of our classmates study better in small groups or large groups!" Iida replies, and you can see him waving his hand in an engine like way. "I'm with Prez on this one, sorry bro." Kirishima adds, scratching the back of his head. "I feel the same way!" Midoriya chimes in, before whisper-rambling about who in the class seems like they work better alone. "I agree too. I wouldn't participate. It would most likely distract me from getting any work done at all." You hear Todoroki say. "Yea, well of course you wouldn't join! You and (Name) would probably chum it up with the books before we would even get anywhere! It's no fair! How come you always get to hang around (Name)?" "It's not like that. (Name) is a distraction to me too. In many more ways than anybody I've ever known is." "Woah, dude! I didn't know that's how you felt about them. I so thought..." You feel your heart sink to your feet. Suddenly, everything about you feels weird. You didn't know that was how Todoroki felt about you. Suddenly, your feet are moving by themselves, in the opposite direction. Anything to get away from here. From this situation. And so you make a mad dash to the restroom. You couldn't bear to hear the rest of the conversation, when it had been made so clear to you that the guy you thought was your best friend had felt the exact opposite about you. You felt so pathetic and in shock that you couldn't even cry. If you were so annoying and distracting to Todoroki, why didn't he just say so? Why did he let you pester him and waste both his and your time? You don't understand. You just stood there in the bathroom, leaning against the door of a stall. Slowly, you come to, slap yourself in the face, and walk towards your classroom once again. That day, you make another decision, with more resolve than the previous ones. Distance.
And so when you make it to class just by the bell and half-hot half-cold boy inquires why since you specifically left early, you just shrug and tell him you had some things to take care of. And when lunch comes around, you decide that you want to sit with Mina and her friends. And when it's time to train, you ask Midoriya instead. And at the end of class, when Iida proposes that you, Midoriya, Todoroki, him, and Uraraka should have a study session, you pass. You pack up your things, bid your friends a cya later, and make your way out of the building. You're changing your shoes when Todoroki makes his way towards you. He has a slight grimace on his face, but to most people, he looked like he normally did. (Why did you still want to know why he was making that face? Why did you get so attached in the first place? You hated yourself for it. )
"..Hey. Is there something wrong? You were unusually to yourself today. You didn't even pair up with me for training or sit with us." Todoroki asks, outstretching his hand to take your bag as you fumble with your shoes. You don't give it to him, and instead opt to bring it even closer to you. You muster up the best smile you can, and reply with all the gusto you can bring. "I'm fine! I have to go now though, so see you!" You say hurriedly as you quickly finish putting on your shoes and readjusting your bag. You all but dash out of the building and make your way to your dorm before Todoroki can even offer to walk with you. You hope he doesn't notice how stiff your smile was. But how would he anyway? He had only seen you as a distraction. You leave behind a distraught and confused Todoroki, who watches you disappear into the distance. (The boy immediately noticed how fake that smile was. Your smile was never like that. Ever. You didn't tell him about your day. You didn't eat lunch with him. You didn't even say a full 3 sentences to him today. And for the first time, Todoroki felt a sharp pang! in his chest. It hurt.)
Before you know it, you're at the dorms and finally, everything comes crashing down. You feel like you're about to have a meltdown. And so you quickly whip out your phone and shoot Mina a quick text.
You
Hey Mina, not feeling too hot rn. I'll be in my room
Mins
omw
"Not feeling too hot" was your and Mina's unspoken way of saying hey, I'm about to lose it, hellp! When Mina had first texted you something along those lines, you decided to check up on her, only to find her hysterically sobbing into her pillow. Safe to say it's a term only used during emergencies. Like now. By the time you make it to your room, you feel the waterworks coming. You quickly wriggle out of your uniform and fight back the tears that threaten to release from your eyes. You're doing well you think, until Mina comes in. All it takes is a "Hey babes, what's wrong?" For you to absolutely crumble into your best friend's chest. It takes a while for you to finally get everything out, along with the reason you're this way, but by the time you do, you feel a lot better.
"What the hell is wrong with this dude...It pisses me off but, (Name)! Listen. The best part now is that you know, right? No more clinging or worrying about that twat!" You sniffle. "I know, Mins. I really know, but it still hurts, you know? I'm embarrassed, hurt, and sad. But above all, I'm angry. I've been making a fool of myself. I hate it. And I hate how much I liked him." You croak out, throat dry from all the crying. "I know, I know." Mina coos, and you hug her tighter. Eventually, she leaves, and you sprawl across your bed. You already know what you're going to do. It's easier this way for the both of you guys, you think.
And so you continue to give Todoroki the cold shoulder. You shoot him a text saying that you can't walk with him anymore, and even decide to make breakfast to-go just to avoid seeing him. You stop greeting him in the morning. You ask Midoriya to be partners for the foreseeable future, and he agrees. You walk home with Mina. You eat lunch with Mina and her friends. You begin to study with them, too. And go out on the weekends. You barely even spare the dual color haired boy a glance. Whenever you speak to him, you keep it curt. (But how come it still hurts?) And this lasts for around a month, before the last straw.
Breaking up your friendship with Todoroki gave you more time to hang out with other people. It was fun to talk to new people, and it also served as a way to take your mind off him. This Friday is like any other. Todoroki watches you walk in, and a part of him hopes that maybe you would say good morning! in your chirpy voice. You always made it a point to smile at him and say good morning, but now, you don't even look at him. He watches as you take your seat and talk to Kaminari about something stupid. pang! Eventually the lesson starts, and the day flies by as "normal". The normal being rarely any contact between him and you. This isn't how it should be, Todoroki thinks to himself. He's packing up his things to go when he sees you and the metal quirked kid from Class 2b near the door. He can't hear what you two are saying, but he does see Metal Quirk lean in and all but tackle you into a hug. He's definitely heavy with the way you can barely hold yourself up. But you're laughing. He hadn't seen that in so long. pang. pang. pang. And before he knows it, Todoroki is making his way towards the two of you. He pulls Tetsutetsu off of you albeit a bit rough. "(Name). Mr. Aizawa is calling for us. He's in his office." And before you can respond, Todoroki clasps your hand and starts walking you two towards the office. Although shocked, you manage to use your free hand to wave to Tetsutesu before confronting the boy keeping such a tight grip on your hand. "Thank you, but I can walk myself. Do you know what he needs us for?" You ask, but there's no answer. To your surprise once again, you both pass by the office. "Hey, Todoroki. I thought you said Mr. Aizawa was in the office? Where are we-" You feel his grip tighten a little. "Todoroki, let go." You say with a hint of seriousness in your tone that makes the boy hesitate in his walking. But he doesn't stop. You finally manage to yank his hand away at the lockers. "Todoroki! Seriously, what the hell?" You half-yell, both confused and annoyed. "I should be asking you that, (Name). What's happening? You don't talk to me at all. It's like I don't exist to you anymore. And now you're all buddy-buddy with everybody. Did I do something? I just want answers." Todoroki says, and you feel something in you explode. Maybe it's the pent-up frustration from his seemingly obliviousness, or just the sheer fact of the nerve he had to say what he just said. Either way, you don't spare the boy. "What's wrong?! You should be happy I'm doing this, since all I am is a distraction in so many ways. If I was such a pain, you should've said something. I overheard your conversation with the others about me. I couldn't even listen past the distraction part because it hurt so so bad. I know what you said. I thought I was doing us both a favor by ignoring you, so that way you can focus. And I can't even begin to look at you, because when I do, all I think about is how embarrassed and mad I am that you would let me stick around you all this time and not express how you truly feel! You never cared about me at all, did you?" You don't even realize you're crying until you feel one trickle down your cheek. You don't even bother to look at the male before you mutter a quick apology and make a beeline for the exit. Once again, you leave Todoroki standing there. (When he saw your tears fall, and chest heave, all he could wonder was how could someone look so beautiful even when crying? He wanted to slap himself. Why was he like this?)
You feel so idiotic as you sob into your pillow. And you sob, and sob, and sob until you physically can't cry anymore. By the time you look up from your snot covered pillow, it's darker. Dinner has already passed, and you weakly grab your phone to see a swarm of texts from Mina. Before you can type out a reply though, you hear frantic banging on your door. You sluggishly make your way to the door before creaking it slightly open. You're greeted with the face you least want to see right now, and you grimace. "What do you want, Todoroki? If you're sorry, it's okay. If you're not, it's okay too. I just want to be left alone." You shut the door faster than the half-hot half-cold boy can hold it, and you just stand there for a bit. You think he's left until you hear his voice. "(Name). I'm just letting you know in advance. I'm burning this door down." You quickly yank the door open. "No! What the hell." This time, Todoroki makes use of the open door and comes in. You both are just standing there until he speaks up: "(Name). I want to clear this up with you. I won't deny that I said what I said. And even if you had listened to the whole conversation, it wouldn't have made things any better." "How is this supposed to make me feel better?" "Sorry. What I mean is that It's the way I meant it that matters. I don't have a way with words. I've never been able to articulate my feelings quite well. (Name), you are a distraction. At first, I thought that it was maybe your quirk. Whenever I'm around you, it's hard to focus. My palms get sweaty, my heartbeat becomes irregular, and I just feel...odd. I talked about it with my sister, and she and I are both sure that I harbor romantic feelings for you. When I said you were a distraction, I meant...more so romantically. Kaminari and the others are just plain distracting in the annoying way. But you? You distract my heart. I can't pay attention to much other than your smile, your words, just you. This past month, week and 5 days have been horrible. That's what I meant, (Name). You're special to me, and I'm sorry I made you feel otherwise. I'm not lying. We can check for proof." He takes your hand softly places it on his chest. You can feel his heart beating rapidly, and when you look up, you see a faint red hue adorn both his cheeks. You can't help but shed a few happy tears. "You idiot. I'm just so glad right now...You don't understand how bad I hated not talking to you. We have so much to catch up on! You better be ready because I'm really gonna talk your ear off tonight." "I wouldn't have it any other way." Todoroki smiles and pulls you into a tight embrace.
extra!
"You do realize that you just confessed your love for me, right 'Roki?" "Yes." "And you counted the days, you loser. hehe." "...But Wait, so what does this mean for us? Since the feelings are mutual." "If it's alright with you, dating with the intention of marriage in the future?" "...Who told you that would be a good idea to say?" "...Tokoyami."
xxtra!
A while later, Todoroki ends up talking with Kaminari, Kirishima, Iida, and Midoriya. "I have a question. When I said that name was a distraction to me, what way did you perceive it as?" The male inquires. "Like ya hate her! I was so shocked. I still can't expect that from you of all people Todobro!" Kaminari says to which Kirishima agrees. "I thought the same way! But calling a classmate a distraction is far from appropriate! I take it you apologized?" Iida asks, to which Todoroki scratches his ear. "O-Oh WHAT?! Is that what you meant, Todoroki? I for sure thought you meant that you held romantic feelings for her which in turn led to um...distractions." Midoriya says, and The dual color haired boy half smiles at him. "Yea. That's what I meant." "How did you know Midoriya?! What the hell!" Kirishima asks, shellshocked. "Oh, um well I thought it was kind of obvious. Well actually, I have some notes about it in my notebook. Not in a creepy way I swear! It started off as an analysis of both of their quirks in battle since they always paired up together. They had a lot of synergy so I wanted to take some notes. But the more I observed the two of them together, the more I noticed. Like for example..." The green haired boy flips through his notebook until he reaches a page that says, 'TODOROKI & (NAME) ALLIANCE'. "Here it is! Like when they fight together, Todoroki takes a different stance than when he fights with like say, Bakugou. At first, I thought it was because he wanted to dominate against the enemy, but that didn't make sense since their strengths are close to equal. Then I realized his stance was more protective because he personally didn't want (Name) to get hurt. And also, when he's with (Name), his facial expressions are more animated. His smile is wider, and his eyes are always looking at them. He's always got his eyes on (Name). Even when we go out to stores, he always looks for something to bring back for them. The biggest solidifier for me though, was this past month when (Name) and him kind of drifted. His mood was significantly worse. He ate his lunch slower and would always look towards their direction. He would study slower, and he was looking at name even more. It was almost like they were his drive! It made me realize instantly that something was up.....and....and....." (Todoroki didn't even realize the extent to which you had captured his heart. But now he was sure. He had you, and he was never letting go.)

I know that the mha fandom kinda had to make up shit for Hawks because his backstory came out slowly but I really wish it hadn’t taken over. As far as I am aware the HPSC doesn’t torture him or have super strict control of his life anymore. Obviously they groomed him and trained him properly pretty brutally but I don’t think they’re unnecessarily cruel. They wouldn’t want to risk him turning against them and with how young they got him the don’t need to.
Hawks is Lady Nagant’s replacement, meaning all the people she would’ve been sent to assassinate he took care of. Corrupt heroes who needed to be silenced, political enemies, criminals with ideas to dangerous like the league and the mla, he was sent to kill them. Hawks is an assassin and a spy with a background reminiscent of Black Widow. That’s traumatizing enough and I wish I could find more fics that address that rather than him being overworked and pushed to be perfect to the point of mutilation.
Cause like— Hawks isn’t a perfect golden boy? Where did people get that idea? That would be like All Might or Best Jeanist. Hawks is super socially awkward and covers it up with bravado and ends up coming off as rude. In terms of social experience he’s at the same place as Shouto if he never went to UA. He has no idea what he’s doing, he’s just winging it and everyone ignores it because he flashes a pretty smile. He’s like completely tactless.
I don’t think the commission even intended for him to be so high ranking, he’s just too damn good at his job and too pretty for his own good. He was supposed to be an assassin and an infiltrator and being so high profile is not conducive to that.
Anyway those are my thoughts on Hawks, I love him and I love Dabihawks but god do I wish there weren’t so few fics that actually use their canon characterization, or as close as you can get with a Dabihawks fic since canonically they hate each other. But their like so perfect from a narrative standpoint, they could be each other’s perfect foil with all the parallels and similarities in their backstories!

rey i need ya gen fic bnha recs
congratulations, i have a whole ass collection. but here's some faves. A collection of both oneshot and multichap!
Gauntlet Thrown - pikahlua
Pro hero Katsuki Bakugou has deigned to apply for a teaching position at UA, and the lucky bastard who gets to conduct the job interview is none other than Shouta Aizawa.
Second Chances - amarisllis
Aizawa’s heartbeat is pounding against Katsuki’s ear, so loud and fast that it blocks out everything else. Katsuki’s arms flail, unsure what to do now that he’s being hugged by his teacher who’s never really cracked more than a tiny smile in their presence before. Wha— Oh. Oh, oh shit. Aizawa is crying. “Sensei—” “You were dead.” His voice breaks on the last word. Oh. Shit.
candid - OwlF45
The Commission passes a new requirement for hero licenses: pass a mental simulation. For Izuku, a holder of One For All, this idea ends in catastrophe. A series focused on the simulation, and everything that comes after.
Switchblade - Cacid
"I’m only two minutes late!” Izuku protested. Had he missed the start of an important test? None of the national, standardized tests were supposed to happen this month and even being two minutes late to one of those wouldn’t elicit this sort of reaction. They were discussing their career interest forms today, but that was it. Nothing time-critical was supposed to be happening. “Midoriya, you were reported missing a week ago. No one has seen you for eight days. The police have been combing the city for you.” "I’m sorry. What?” Midoriya Izuku went missing for a week and turned up in a back alleyway with skills he's never even heard of and no memory of how he came by them. He resigns himself to never learning the truth of what happened to him, but he shouldn't waste this chance should he? He could become a hero with reflexes like these. (Russian Translation available)
Razzmatazz - xylophones
Izuku has plans for everything. He plans out what to say to the cashier when ordering coffee, he plans out his homework before even opening his textbook. He has a whole ten-year plan for how he’s going to get into UA’s hero course and get his hero license fully quirkless. He plans for every wild, unlikely scenario he can think of because his anxiety gets so bad if he doesn’t go through every possible outcome, every way his life could landslide into disaster–– but Izuku never planned for this. For once, he doesn’t have a plan and he doesn’t have time to think of one. All he can see is Yagi-san’s lined, kind face looking resigned as he stares down the villain in his shop. Yagi-san, who is the closest thing to a father figure Izuku has ever had. Izuku doesn’t think. He just moves. (Or: Izuku saves the number one hero, gets a hero license way earlier than anyone wanted, realizes that maybe hero society isn’t as great as he thought it was, and everything just kind of falls apart from there.)
third couch is the charm - laurenshappenstobemyhusband
Shouto trained for years to control his ice. Encasing everything in ice whenever he sneezed, got angry or startled, or just whenever he wasn't paying attention always got him into trouble, and he's glad he finally has complete control over his right side. Unfortunately, he can't say the same about his flames. OR: Todoroki sets three couches on fire, which apparently is too many, so now he has to take quirk control classes with Kaminari and they bond over mutual destruction
All's Well - Vexfulfolly
Trigger + Katsuki Bakugou = One hell of a precarious situation OR What it's like to be a walking bomb.
El Manisero - Lila17
"that fic where Sero runs a peanut cartel at UA"
see it all in bloom - aloneintherain
Todoroki said, “It feels like a family reunion.” (Social media fic, counting down the five months to Class 1-A's ten year reunion.)
and i know these don't REALLY count because they're mine, but here's my OWN gen fics that I had a GREAT time writing
And in the forest, I can be free
His prosthetic leg was covered in stickers. Her hands were stained with marker ink in wonderful multicolor. She could color outside the lines. She could color inside the lines. She could color the skin pink or the hair black or whatever color she wished. She could ignore the lines entirely and just draw whatever she wanted. Chiasaki would have never allowed any of this. She doesn’t freeze or feel that horrible feeling in her chest at the thought of him anymore. Instead she only felt... Something else. It was a warmer feeling, one that settled in her gut. It took a few days of this new feeling to be recognized and named- anger. She wasn’t as afraid anymore, that had grown into anger. How could anything in this so-called “sick” place ever be bad? She admires her color-stained hands, the shoes that were allowed to remain dirty, the softness of fresh mud during a rainstorm under her hands. Sand between her fingers, dust wiped away from glass to reveal a view of the forest. Eri doesn’t care if she’s cursed. She doesn’t care if this entire world is covered in little germs that would make her sick. Eri loves it so much. - A look at Eri and her relationship with cleanliness
Within Rime and Reason
1. He reached up to touch the base of his scar. Somehow, without the red hair framing it, it looked almost like a birthmark. Less of a harsh, angry burn scar and more of a memory. He didn’t look like a man with a tragic past, he looked like a boy. If he wasn’t completely blind in that eye, he would almost believe it was one. “You look so manly,” Kirishima breathes. “No,” Todoroki says with a smile. “I look like my mother. I look womanly.” 2. And suddenly so many pieces of the puzzle drop into place. His eye is unseeing. White pupil. Milky iris. With the skin around it poreless and hairless. Easy to cover up with makeup. Oil-less and unmoisturized. Like a scar. Like a burn. “Todoroki,” Mina says softly. The brush she’s holding drops to her lap. “This isn’t a birthmark I’m covering up, is it?” - Todoroki gets a makeover. Emotional conversations happen.
have fun and enjoy!

things I thought were canon in mha but are probably just things the fandom made up that are so deeply ingrained in fanmedia, coming from someone who only joined the fandom a few months ago (correct me if im wrong)
(also not caught up on s7)
- literally any ships (rip, i know, but guys, no student relationships are canon as of rn)
- eijirou and mina went to middle school together
- denki probably has (absence) seizures due to overusing his quirk/bc storms
- red shoe theory (the quirkless have an extra toe joint and bc of that they need different shoes. unfortunately there's only one type, so doesn't matter if you're 5 or 80, you're stuck wearing bright red sneakers ://)
- erasermic. just the entirety of them being together. also includes erasermic fam. still rioting from when i found out erasermic is not canon >:((
- denki has adhd + dyslexia + dyscalculia (and probably a seizure disorder)
- hitoshi is in the foster system (and was probablg ab*sed bc of his quirk. includes mentions of muzzles and quirk suppressants)
- present mic was born with his quirk, deafening everyone in the room when he was born (includes mentions of muzzles)
- the bakugous (mitsuki and masaru) are either the best parents in the world (super attentive and caring) or suck and are probably ab*sive (quirk suppressants on katsuki any time he comes home, neglectful masaru, aggressive mitsuki)
- izuku is autistic (while not canon, i wouldnt be surprised, this is coming from someone with auDHD)
- denki's parents are both pro heroes (theres two pro's with electricity quirks. maybe?? maybe not?? we'll never know)
- endeavor is homophobic (i mean... im not saying he's not-)
- present mic was adopted by two moms
- eijirou has two moms (this one tho, so cute oml im screaming)
- the bakugous run a fashion empire (katsuki modeled for them before UA
- rooftop trio's full friend group included nemuri (a year ahead of them) and tensei (iida's brother)
- iida is autistic (ngl, if this aint the case im rioting)
- tsu never had a childhood, too busy parenting her siblings while her parents were at work or traveling
- back to the bakugous, they were too busy traveling to do photoshoots (mitsuki was the model and masaru designed clothes) to watch over katsuki, so he taught himself how to do everything (chores, keeping tbe house, cooking, etc)
- eijirou has depression/was su*c*dal in middleschool, the only thing keeping him from toppling was mina
- some mutation quirks are there at birth, others come in later. ex: toru (hagakure) was not born invisible, she turned invisible when out shopping with her mom (just imagine thinking "oh shit i just lost my kid at the store" and feeling something grab your leg with the voice of your kid but nothjngs there. wild, absolutely wild) just imagine this shit with the rest of our resideng mutation kids (whom i adore) koji, fumikage, mina, mezo, mashirao (would you consider hanta, kyoka, rikido, and mineta mutation quirk kids? bc i do)
- some kids come from all over the world (i like the idea of it, just how do they all know japanese then??) one i can remember rn were like denki is a 2nd gen japanese american, yuga we know is from france, hanta is latino (i adore this)
- mineta is great!! or mineta is a r*p*st (now, hes gotten better, i'll give you that, but hes still not great and i choose to hate him so im moving on-)
- the sports festival ceremony triggered a flashback for katsuki, making him feel like he was back with the sludge villian again
- izuku and katsuki co-wrote all might fanfiction and individually at one point had all might stan pages.
- fumikage, hitoshi, and kyoka rotate between the bakusquad and dekusquad
- the emosquad consists of fumikage, hitoshi, kyoka, mezo, katsuki, and shouto
- ochako has dad sneezes (loud asf and probably back to back) and katsuki has kitten sneezes (cute and singular) (no i will not explain further)
- while katsuki is loud and "angry" all of the time, you only really got to worry when he becomes deadly silent
- if you want tea on anyone, go to either mezo or kyoka. they know all
- shouto had many firsts after the dorms were implemented: first time trying ice cream, watching a movie, listening to music, trying certain foods, etc. bc endeavor either hated it, or didnt allow him access to it bc he thought it was a waste of time
- momo probably has an eating disorder, regardless of her quirk, due to her parents pressure as a high society family
- quirk related symptoms/damage. ex: katsuki's explosions causing low blood pressure and hearing loss. present mics causing hearing loss and chronic sore throats (maybe even repeat tonsilitis??). hitoshi getting migraines, insomnia, and nose bleeds from excessive quirk use.
- aizawa transfered to the hero course after winning the sports festival his first year at UA (i think it makes sense, what with him training hitoshi later)
(this is what i could think of rn, theres probably more, add on if you think of any)

explain to me how bakugo is traumatized. the kid he grew up with was nice to him once and he immediately came to the conclusion that he should die. that's not trauma, that's being insane.
Tumblr media
I'm going to start with the fact that, justifiably, there's never a reason to tell someone to kill themselves. Additionally, note that me saying Bakugo is traumatized does not mean that Midoriya is also not traumatized.
Regarding your question, the trauma that I mentioned on a recent ask, (I assume this one prompted your question) referenced the following:
Captured by the Slime Villain, effectively bound and suffocated in front of an audience (doesn't include the fall out after being someone who is publicly assaulted)
Muzzled, bound and robbed of autonomy in front of a national audience at the Sports Festival
Kidnapped and bound by the LOV (the forcible binding is recurrent through all the above)
Don't really have to go into the swath of issues he and Class 1A likely can and do develop from being child pawns in a war of adults but that can be applied as well re: survivor's guilt, PTSD, paranoia from the mole, etc. from the PLF arc and up until current manga events (I didn't feel like a spoiler warning).
Things that people don't tend to capture in the box of Bakugo's characterization:
He comes from a verbally and physically abusive household, demonstrably (you can jump down to the second paragraph of Bakugo's Strengths listed here for my thoughts on that impact)
Forced to defend himself against older kids from a young age and possibly on a recurring basis, as referenced in the above image. We could probably chalk the confrontation up to a consequence of his false overconfidence, sure. But does that justify 4th graders ganging up on what looks like a kindergartener/first grader?
As for Bakugo and Midoriya's relationship, we don't have much to go on. We know they were close and amicable as kids, things likely went to shit when Midoriya didn't develop a quirk, there's some beetle excursion in the woods that Bakugo refers back to a lot which is pending further context for readers/viewers, and then there's a fall in the river which really soured relations as Bakugo misinterpreted genuine kindness for condescension (see home life and such above). Again, none of this justifies the bullying we see at the start of the series or the way their interactions have shocking physical components. But what I do find interesting is that I've previously likened Bakugo's disposition to Endeavors but, in retrospect, I think he's a strong parallel for Dabi too.
Dabi's rage stems from being robbed of what he thinks is his inalienable birthright as the oldest son and heir to Endeavor's legacy. He disproportionately targets Shouto as the usurper of what is rightfully his. Dabi's claim, of course, makes more sense from a traditional and, probably, cultural standpoint. But the reason I mention it is that I don't think Bakugo was constantly telling Midoriya to take a swan dive off a roof. It doesn't forgive the bullying but it contextualizes why, that day, the bullying reached a new height when Midoriya was outed for still trying to get into UA. Bakugo saw this as an immediate threat to his position because, even though he didn't admit it at the time, if anyone could get into UA, quirkless or not, Bakugo knew Midoriya could.
Tumblr media
Just as Midoriya has always seen Bakugo as being heroic and capable of being number 1, Midoriya proves time and time again that, even without a quirk, he's got the spirit of a hero and is successful in spaces where Bakugo is not. As the story progresses, we see evidence and the ultimate manifestation of Bakugo's remorse through his apology and other ways he's softened up. I'm not saying he wasn't a little shit but that's also not all he was (IDK if you've met kids but... without healthy socialization they can be little emotional terrorists). As things have unfolded, we see that, internally, Bakugo uses thoughts of Midoriya to galvanize his path forward and we've recently confirmed that when Bakugo spoke to Kirishima about strength... he was referring to Midoriya, you can scroll down to paragraphs around the last picture. I'm just gleeful about calling it. But, suffice it to say they've both been looking to one another this whole time.
There are still periphery pieces of their background missing because the story is largely from Midoriya's perspective. I don't think we'll get a comprehensive backstory but I think there will be some sort of meaningful explanation behind the beetle trip that may inform why Bakugo ultimately misinterpreted things so poorly at the river. I mean, maybe it's as simple as the fact that he couldn't fathom kindness because it's something not typically afforded to those who are perceived as strong. I don't know but I look forward to finding out.

hear me out…. todobaku as villains???
im going to disappoint you anon bc i am not a like... dark & twisted fantasy villain au person. as per quidfree canon what keeps me going is good characterisation and so you will find no undercut tattoo-laden bad boys here.
if you want my two cents on what todobaku villain au would most likely look like though it's under the cut
todoroki:
this one is easy right? touya exists. shouto already has his villain backstory: his dad is a bigshot hero uplifted by society and also an abusive bastard in private. his motivations in hero-oriented society are obvious.
i think shouto probably distinguishes himself from touya in a number of ways, one of which being style of villainy. touya was a lot more unstable emotionally (?tied to his quirk self-harm stuff) and undiscerning in his resentment (see: woman hater) even before he ran away. i think shouto would be a more classic anti-hero type villain, less quick to cause chaos and death to unrelated civilians or high schoolers. they would have an uneasy relationship if and when shouto figured out who dabi was- i think he would retain his empathy for his siblings and mother, but he would disagree with touya’s choices.
i see him as a loner villain, not likely to join the league. early UA shouto appeared to have literally never spoken to another person in ten years, so if he around that age veered off the expected path and went MIA, i think the whole ice prince thing would solidify pretty definitely. and that’s the kind of personality he’d have too- icy, controlled superiority over a core of red-hot rage. no quips here. though some dramatics. he hides it but shouto always has flair.
shouto is a practical guy first and foremost. i think he’d just wear something similar to his plumber fit. maybe something akin to a balaklava to mask his identity, but maybe not, if he wants to make his father aware of his actions. i do think touya-style he might go for a hairdye, but in his case it’d probably be bleach, as a sort of obvious reclaiming of rei’s heritage and rejection of enji’s.
overall as villains go if we are keeping to a world close to canon shouto is probably one of the more morally upright people you will encounter. very scary motherfucker but pretty targeted enemies, so unless you’re involved in maintaining the hero justice system at some pivotal level you’re probably safe. if you are though? rip i guess. prepare to have your home frozen, your limbs stuck to the ground, and an icepick summarily driven through your skull by a teenager.
bakugou
katsuki is tough because for him it very much depends on setting, and at a basic level when you’re looking at. katsuki fundamentally is not a fuck the system guy- he’s a guy the system loves, and he’s interested in winning it, not destroying it, at least until character development kicks his ass. so really if you want to go early canon for both of them, villain bakugou is just hero bakugou. a katsuki from the start of bnha left to continue on his presumed arc uninterrupted, no deku or kidnapping or war to force him to question himself. arrogant and cruel and uncaring of what heroism is meant to be about. saving big numbers, sure, or at least defeating big ones, but when your defeats involve death or as good as, hard to draw the line.
similarly, in a universe where for some reason heroes have lost their relevance and villains reign, teen katsuki would have very easily risen in that direction, with similar traits.
who would his targets be? whoever’s in his way, pretty much. even in a more anti-hero slant, villain’s goons would not be safe. and anyone who tried to recruit / hire / ally him would inevitably face some kind of betrayal bc katsuki simply got sick of orders and believes he can handle the fall-out.
in terms of looks, katsuki is more style conscious than shouto is, but as lord explosion murder doesn’t necessarily look very heroic i think he wouldn’t look that different. maybe more of the black and winter-suit vibes.
for as insufferable as he would be, he would also be horrifying, yes. i mean, the guy is a starter kit terrorist. even if he was in tantrum ego mode he could level a street. collateral would be nasty if katsuki didn’t care to contain himself.
todobaku villain interaction ???
if we’re going with the above sort of setting? would not stand each other. for bakugou it’s obvious stuff (think sports fest and general canon), but todoroki genuinely would not tolerate villain bakugou at all, given the obvious alarm bells of similarity to endeavor. it’s not his focus but if bakugou died he would not be displeased.
as in any universe they could be begrudgingly forced into cooperation and then be privately disgusted by how well they worked together after the initial predictable faux pas. all of their other villain colleagues are like “can’t we just call that guy in for an assist again” and theyre like *breathing exercises* no.
they are both despite appearances and villainy-amplified dramatics fairly pragmatic so theyd probably not actively seek to cross each other unless they seemed to be getting in the way of their respective goals. they can recognise that this would be getting into it w an unnecessarily big distraction/threat. but i can imagine the “keep out of this” warnings would be fairly inventive. todoroki negligently thwarts one of bakugou’s plots and bakugou turns his entire hideout to rubble. a bunch of todoroki’s contacts are collateral during one of bakugou’s attacks and bakugou wakes up to find all of his security died of hypothermia overnight. lest we forget they both have petty streaks.
hero x villain interaction would be. very funny and very bad. hero todoroki would be So Tired of villain bakugou bc of how frustrating it is that hes actually hard to stop and villain bakugou in turn would resent him immensely. hero bakugou dealing w villain todoroki? that would be (psychologically bizarre) fun. i think for some reason that would be the closest we get to a bakugou w ‘doodling hearts against their own volition’ crush energy. but theyd get along a lot better than the reverse, mainly bc hero bakugou is like a decent person and villain todoroki respects moral integrity. in both duos in a lighter setting the villain of the two might start getting a mild kick out of messing w the hero despite their focus on other things just bc 1) it gives villain todoroki the mildest of entertainment to look forward to every blue moon given he doesn’t necessarily wish bakugou any active harm 2) villain bakugou feels he’s owed some todoroki suffering considering how annoying he personally finds him.
that’s my two cents on it anyways. idk what everyone else has in mind!

I think, at the end of the day, what I want above all else from the end of the Todoroki family story arc and Dabi's story, beyond Enji not just getting off scotfree after ruining his family's lives but I feel that's a given but beyond that-
I want Dabi to be given time.
One reocurring thing running among the Todoroki's is that most of them has been given time away from the fucked up family situation, away from Enji, to grow as their own people.
Fuyumi complicates this obviously. You could argue her becoming a teacher and building an adult life could count, but Fuyumi also wants other things compared to her siblings, and that's okay! But if you look at the other three, I think it's easier to see what I mean.
Shouto is the most obvious example. It's thanks to not having his thoughts occupied by his father and letting them rule his actions and mindset, even if just to piss his dad off, that Shouto is able to grow. UA and his classmates give him that, he's given a space and time to develop as a person and find out who he is and who he wants to be. Bouncing off his classmates and interacting with people his own age as equals helped him.
It's a big part of Shouto's character that he thinks about his decisions thoroughly and what he wants to do. And he's able to do this because he is given the time and space to do so. It's not explicitly stated, but I think moving to the dorms helped him a lot with this. Shouto is no longer at risk of interacting with his father everyday, letting Shouto distance himself and decide how he feels about his father, being his son, and his ow quirk, without his abuser there to influence him.
Tumblr media
I think this page best shows what a bad influence Endeavour can be on Shouto's mind. Shouto was calm before this, just trying to get to his match and not engaging, but his worsening mental state is called to attention the longer Endeavour talks. Keep in mind this match and moving to the dorms happens long before Enji decides to be a better parent when he realises becoming No.1 wasn't satisfying.
Shouto had not even given Enji his contact information before this and Enji had to get it from Fuyumi(a breach of boundary most definitely, but we don't know Shouto's reaction to this). Shouto doesn't even reply to his fathers incessant messaging until he himself needs something from him, and it's from Endeavour the hero, not Enji the father.
Shouto's development is gradual, but noticeable, and never really stops happening. Even now in the manga he's not finished his arc. But that's what made it very satisfying to watch him grow and find what kind of hero he wants to be.
I think it's worth noting that no one tells Shouto he should go visit his mother. Neither does anyone tell him he should try and talk to his siblings. How Shouto got started on properly talking to them is unknown, but it's clear it's on his terms, and because he wants to. Visiting Rei and reconnecting with her is something Shouto decided himself, and he goes to see her when he can and writes to her. How these visits go are never shown, but it's clear both of them want to connect again, and that both Rei and Shouto are in good places to actually do so in a healthy way.
Rei being in a good place is very important for this, and she is because she has been getting help and been away from the source of her distress and breakdown. When we see Rei out of a flashback, she's calm. She even seems happy, smiling with her children. Happy Shouto is keeping in touch with her through letters despite being so busy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rei was in dire need of getting away, that is obvious when you read the flashbacks. Her worsening mental health and situation ended up hurting not only her, but her children, especially Touya and Shouto. And she's been getting help and getting better since. At this point, she hasn't seen Enji since she was admitted to the hospital. Thanks to all that, Rei has been able to better process her trauma, what went on in their family, and her part in it, and she can face it. Rei, unlike Enji, is open about scarring Shouto, how she couldn't reach Touya and ultimately failed him as a mother.
We don't know a lot about Natsuo, but in his character profile, it's stated that thanks to Fuyumi, he was able to make the decision to go to college. It's said he spends a lot of time away from home and Fuyumi teases him about not keeping in contact enough. For Natsuo, who was one of the 'worthless' children of the house along with Fuyumi, going to college, making friends and getting a girlfriend, probably did wonders for him.
Tumblr media
Natsuo is very upfront about his dislike for Enji, and his refusal to ever forgive him for what he's done. He's taken up the role of holding Enji responsible for his actions after Touya was no longer able to. I think it's pretty clear what Natsuo would like to do is go no-contact with Enji, but he doesn't want to hurt Fuyumi's feelings, so he goes to the family dinners where he has to sit in Enji's presence anyway. Though we still see him stand up and leave sometimes because he can't stand to be in the same room as his father. Natsuo getting up and leaving is, I think, the mature thing to do. He's looking out for himself.
So, where the heck am I going with this? Basically, I want Dabi, Touya, to be given the time and space to decide himself what kind of relationship he wants to have with his family, every single one, in the same way the others have.
Touya up to the point of his death had his life defined by decisions made for him or things happening out of his control. His life after his death were dedicated to one day kill his father, with the heavy implication he has no plan to get out of that confrontation alive.
Tumblr media
You could say Dabi has no identity outside of the Todoroki family, outside of killing Endeavour and getting revenge for himself because no one else ever would. He was born, raised and groomed to be Enji's successor and the next number one, only to have that ripped away from him and expected to just, deal with that and move on, when he had no tools or methods to do that. Touya had no identity outside of being Enji's successor because that wasn't how he was raised. In his mind, he had no worth outside of that.
He was scapegoated by his family for most of his time living with them, and he might not even remember what being with them without being treated as the source of all the problems in the family is like. He went back home and thought they continued on as if he never died. And while that might not be fully true, just telling him that isn't going to magically absolve and fix the damage that left him with.
Throwing him right back into the family, with or without Enji involved, when the rest of the Todoroki's doesn't even know how to treat him now either, could end up really badly.
Especially when they still appear to lean into Touya being the problem. Dabi is the problem for acting out and "involving unrelated people in family matters" as Shouto so eloquently put it(not word for word don't shoot me), when Dabi wanted society to hold Enji accountable for his actions. They still say Dabi needs to be stopped, not saved.
At this point of the arc, Dabi is expecting to die, and he'll have to deal with the fact he's still alive after all this. I don't think he's gonna have the mental strenght to reconnect with the family he hasn't seen for years, not to mention we don't know if Dabi believes they even want him around or ever truly loved him. What does he think of them? We don't know, and chances are big he doesn't know either.
And that's why, I think a timeskip is one of the absolute best ways MHA can end, with time to see, years later, how all the characters are doing. And for the Todoroki's, it could mean Dabi has gotten time by himself to heal, to find out who he is outside of being a Todoroki, outside of being Enji's son, the failed experiment, his own avenger, and deciding on his terms how they should finally meet and talk and what kind of relationship he wants to have with them, if any at all.
It would also give the rest of them the time to once again process Touya's death, Dabi's existence, the fact their brother and child is alive once more and what that means to them individually. It's clear Touya's death was a big open wound for the family even years later, and if it wasn't still bleeding it definitely was after Dabi revealed himself, and that shits messy to deal with.
Then, we can have them meet at a dinner table. Maybe even have it be a picnic or something. When Dabi, Touya, is in a better place, because he was given the time and space to get better and finally decide for himself what he wants to do. It's the very least he's owed.

How bad is Aizawa suffering in ‘A World Turned Upside Down’?
He's not having a great time of things here.
His problem is that four members of the Ninth Sphere's upper echelons are former students of his (Ojiro, Tenya, Inasa and Momo), and in the case of one (Ojiro) he feels, and not without cause, that he's at least somewhat at fault for how things went there. Tenya and Momo were extremely unpleasant surprises for everyone when they went villain, made worse in the case of Momo since it was later discovered she'd already been part of the Ninth Sphere by the time she started at UA. Tenya was recruited during this 'verses version of Hosu, Ojiro mid-way third year, and Inasa just after graduation. So a lot of people side eye him over that. While Kan also has a former student who's part of the Ninth Sphere (Setsuna) he's only got the one.
(Izuku, Ochako, Neito, and Shouto did not go to UA)
I realize I've never clarified, but Izuku et al are 20 or so. Everyone is older than they are in canon; I decided it didn't fit right to have them be UA-age.
But to go back with Aizawa, there are a lot of people who side eye him, between having a full fifth of one of his classes be part of a major criminal organization, especially since this was the one class he *didn't* expel anyone from, which causes....Questions. To say the least. Needless to say a lot of people don't trust his judgement.

Oh My Hero! Hang on!
A Brief Battle?
Before we get into it, I hope you all enjoy this story as it's a little different for me. I originally intended for this to be a one-and-done type of story but some feedback has made me consider to continue with this story. Let me know your thoughts!
Also, please don't forget to read the background post of this story if you're not familiar with the anime!! It's the post right before this one .
thank you for reading!
--------------
Shouto, Katsuki, & Izuku all ended up working near each other after graduating UA 3 years ago. All heroes in their own right, they gained a lot of popularity for their own actions, not because of their mentors or families.
They would train together frequently as well as patrol together from time to time. Their sidekicks and other heroes in the area always took charge when the three of them met up for training or for anything really, and today was one of those days.
You could hear the grunts, moans, blasts, and occasional screams of Katsuki expel from the training facility, fans crowding the facility hoping to catch a glimpse of the three in action.
“Kacchan over here,” Izuku said as Katsuki threw a water bottle at Shouto.
“Yeah, yeah”. Katsuki threw Izuku a water before sitting down with his legs splayed out & his arms holding him up from behind.
Their two hour training session had just ended, all three exhausted with sweat covering their training shirts… making them stick to each of their muscled arms, ripped abs, and firm pecs.
Izuku tried not to look at Katsuki as his body looked much hotter covered in sweat. Izuku has had a crush on Katsuki for years now, but it wasn’t till the last year at UA that Izuku began yearning for Katsuki’s body (probably because that’s when Izuku hit puberty… late bloomer). It wasn’t helping that Katsuki was wearing mid-thigh shorts, exposing his delicious meaty thighs.
“Whatcha looking at Deku!” Katsuki said as he drank another bottle of water.
“No- Nothing Kacchan. Just dazed out for a bit”.
Katsuki huffed as he stood up and paced around the guys. He knew training was important and as much as he hated to admit it, he enjoyed his time spent with Shouto and Izuku… but he enjoyed being a hero even more. He enjoyed kicking ass and beating the villains until they started begging for mercy, it was actually what he was known for in the area.
“Want to go get some soba noodles before going back to patrol” Shouto asked the guys (mainly Izuku since he was the easiest to convince).
“Yeah that sounds…” Izuku began to get quieter, “good…”.
Katsuki lifted his shirt to wipe the sweat falling onto his eyebrows, exposing his sweaty abs & his red underwear waistband in the process.
Shouto followed Izuku’s stare and as soon as he realized where Izuku was staring, he quickly looked away. Shouto knew Izuku and Katsuki had history that went way back before he even met them, and all throughout their time at UA, he could sense some sort of magnetic tension between them. One that he wished he had with Izuku; he’s had a crush on Izuku since he met him at UA but never acted on it due to the tension he felt between the two friends.
“Izuku” Shouto quietly said as he saw Katsuki begin to lower his shirt.
“Uh… yeahsobanoodlessoundgreatwhatdoyouthinkKacchan” Izuku said, practically slurring his speech, feeling his face burning up as he knew Shouto caught him staring at Katsuki.
Shouto laughed at Izuku’s cute expression; watching him get flustered was a common occurrence, one Shouto always looked forward to… ~Why can’t he look at me that way~ Shouto thought to himself as Izuku darted his eyes from Katsuki to his shuffling feet.
“Yeah that’s fine… just as long as I can get them spicy”, Katsuki said, putting all his gear in his gym bag.
“Perfect then let’s-“
There was a loud bang. The entire gym shook from the vibration, causing all three heroes to stand up and immediately run outside.
The crowd of fans waiting for them had begun to disperse, running away from where the smoke was in the distance. The street shook, car alarms blared from all over, screams heard from the people running in front of them.
“The smoke seems like 10 miles east,” Izuku said, calculating how quickly he could get there.
“Our sidekicks are there but are overwhelmed. The villain came prepared with backup” Katsuki spoke with his team over his earpiece, trying to get real-time information before heading over.
“Seems to be in my jurisdiction,” Shouto said, his fists tightening, causing ice and fire to engulf them. “Okay, Izuku you’re the fastest here. I need you to get to a high vantage point and tell us what you see. We have people on the ground so they are our eyes and ears but I need you to see of any weakness or place to attack.”
“Yes, I’ll be quick,” Izuku said as he flashed away, leaving a trail of blue lightning behind.
“Katsuki, I need you to-“
“I know what to do. You do your thing, I'll do mine”, Katsuki said before blasting off.
Shouto spoke to his sidekick on his earpiece as he created an ice platform and shot himself forward. He could hear the screaming and the crashes from the fight in the back, his sidekick sounding out of breath as he gave Shouto information.
Izuku arrived first. Standing on top of a surrounding building, he was able to see the villain, one he’s never met before, standing in front of the art installation that was on display in the middle of the bustling town. His goons, all covered in what appeared to be glass, circled around him fighting off the sidekick and police force that arrived on scene.
“Shouto and Kacchan. He appears to have about 50 goons, overwhelming the police force and the sidekicks. He’s in front of the art installation and both he and his goons are all covered in glass or mirror shards I believe. There’s no way to sneak an attack. His goons have him surrounded”
“What about from above?” Katsuki said as he blasted through the air.
“It’s possible but too exposed Kacchan. Since we don’t have our gear, we’re already at a disadvantage”, Izuku said, remembering that Katsuki was wearing mid-thigh shorts.
They were all in such a rush none of them were able to change back into their costumes at the gym. Apart from Katsuki wearing shorts, both Izuku & Shouto were wearing joggers and all three were wearing tank tops, exposing their arms.
Katsuki blasted himself onto the roof with Izuku. As he landed, he noticed Izuku’s joggers pulled down mid ass, revealing a gold waistband with what appeared to be All Might written in the waistband, connected to blue underwear. Katsuki let out a laugh.
“Hey nerd! Pull your pants up. I don’t need to see your All Might panties before a fight”
Izuku immediately grew red, scrambling to pull his joggers up. “I- I- I didn’t know, they must’ve been pulled down by the wind as I ran over here”.
Izuku felt his dick pulse hearing Katsuki talk about his briefs. Katsuki’s laughter made him grow more flustered and embarrassed, but weirdly enough, he didn’t want Katsuki to stop.
Shouto slid onto the building, the snow platform slowly dissolving in the summer sun. Katsuki immediately stopped laughing & Izuku tried his best to hide his flushed face. Shouto looked down and saw for himself what the situation looked like.
“We need to find a way to stop this as quickly as possible to limit the amount of damage,” Shouto said, glancing down at the destroyed square.
The three of them in the quickest they could, came up with a game plan to stop this villain and after relaying the plan to their sidekicks and the police, they set it in motion.
Izuku and Shouto both jumped off the building at opposite sides to surround the area. Katsuki gave them some time to get to their positions and once they did, he jumped off the building, free-falling right on top of where the villain stood. As he got close and saw the villain look up, he blasted him. But as the blast cleared, the villain still stood, sneering at Katsuki before unleashing a blast similar to Katsuki’s, sending him flying toward a surrounding building, near where Izuku was hiding.
Shouto moved, seeing his opening as the villain looked toward Katsuki. Shouto shot an ice beam and managed to knock the villain off of the platform toward the floor. This gave Katsuki the chance to get on his feet and blast through some of the goons in the area.
The sidekicks were relieved that the heroes came, cheering at the sight of Shouto knocking down the villain. The goons were being quickly demolished by the group, with Izuku trying his best to knock out the goons without being spotted; they were saving Izuku in case the villain proved too much and a surprise attack would be the best tactic.
As Shouto ran to where the villain fell, the goons surrounded him, the mirrors they had on reflecting light towards his eyes, blinding him from seeing the villain stand up.
“Finally,” the villain said as he stood up from where he fell, shards of mirror falling off of him, and new ones appearing in their place.
“The real challenge has arrived,” he said as light reflected off of him and onto the mirrors of his goons, causing them to run out of the town square park and onto the streets where civilians were crowding.
“Everyone, we got this, you all head over and help the civilians” Shouto ordered all their sidekicks & members from their teams. They all nodded and headed out to stop the goons from hurting civilians.
“You are too complacent,” the villain said as he stood and blasted out a stronger light from his mirrors and it arose the fallen goons from the ground and they ran out to join the rest of the goons.
Katsuki blasted himself toward the goons but was flung back by a beam of light. He crashed against the wall near Izuku and as he fell to the ground, his tank top got caught on some rubble and ripped right off of him, his sweaty pecs bouncing as he hit the floor.
Izuku watched with twisted lust as Katsuki's shirt ripped off and revealed his muscular body, his red waistband peeking out of his shorts, revealing some green fabric of his underwear. He wanted to reach out to help Katsuki, an excuse to touch his sweaty torso but remembered to stay hidden and could only watch as Katsuki’s body gleamed in front of him.
“You heroes are too comfortable in your positions of power. You act like saviors when you are all still children.” The villain said as he stepped on floating shards of glass that appeared in front of him. “The old generation of heroes is over. And you are not worthy of stepping into their place. Stay in their shadows where you belong”.
“Why are you doing this if your anger is to us, not to the city nor their civilians”, Shouto said as he shot a fire blast at the villain.
He dodged the blast, his floating shard moving to where the light took it. “To show these people that you are not worthy to save them. You cannot. They need to stop relying on children and start relying on themselves”, the villain said as he released multiple mirror shards and shot them toward Shouto. He tried to dodge and burn the shards, being mostly successful. The ones he missed hit his tank top and joggers, cutting small holes into them, with one ripping the tank top strap, exposing his right pec.
“We’re not children”
Izuku wanted to stand up and fight. He hated hiding. His body surrounded itself with his green lightning but before he could do anything, Katsuki gestured for him to hide as he ran up toward the villain, allowing Izuku to see his meaty thighs bunch up the shorts fabric from behind, exposing more of Katsuki’s legs.
~It was like he was showing off working without his costume~ Izuku thought, blushing at the sight before refocusing on the matter at hand “focus. Don’t think of Kacchan” he said to himself.
Katsuki joined Shouto, beaming with anger as the villain smirked. “Why don’t you come join us and fight us face to face, prick!” Katsuki said, his hands steaming from his blast beginning to form.
“You can call me Ref” he said as he lowered himself closer to the guys, “but even up close you could never beat me”
As he got closer to Katsuki, Shouto jumped back as Katsuki released a blast exploding with a thunderous boom and shattering windows from the surrounding buildings. As the smoke cleared, Katsuki’s smile quickly vanished as Ref still stood in front of him and smiled back.
“As I said, children”, Ref said as he touched Katsuki, sending him flying back into Shouto and landing on the ground.
Izuku couldn’t wait anymore and rushed Ref, ready to release Detroit Smash before getting flung back by an explosion resembling Katsuki’s, only weaker.
“You thought I didn’t know you were there?”, Ref said laughing, “you need to understand the art of battle before engaging in it”.
Izuku hit the floor and rolled against the building, his joggers getting caught on a piece of rubble and pulled down, revealing his All Might themed briefs. Izuku didn’t realize it at first but as he sat up and felt the cold air on his thighs, he looked down and saw All Might's face smiling right back at him from his own crotch; he quickly pulled on his joggers, stretching them out a little, but he was able to cover up before anyone saw his briefs… or so he hoped. The red crotch with All Might’s face on it and the rest of the blue briefs with gold stitching was something he didn’t want his friends nor Ref to see.
As Ref threw Izuku he looked toward the opening of the park and saw the sidekicks coming back. His beams of light shot toward them and into the fallen goons, raising them up again. As the sidekicks got ambushed by the goons once more, Ref used his beams of light to push rubble against the opening and blocked it so his time with the three heroes wouldn’t be bothered.
“Who are you”, Izuku said as he tightened the waistband of his joggers, standing up from the rubble.
“Finally a question worth answering”, Ref said as he flung more shards toward Shouto and Katsuki as they attempted to get up.
“I am Ref, and I don’t consider myself a villain nor evil. I haven’t hurt anyone other than you heroes. The people that got hurt were because of their own cowardice and selfishness of safety that they don’t care for others.” Ref jumped off his shard and onto the ground as he walked toward Izuku.
“What I am here to do is to make sure that these people know that heroes are NOT and should NOT be saviors. We are in charge of our own lives and should be able to defend them when we can”, Ref said as he stood face-to-face with Izuku (well looking down at him). “And as you heroes have gotten so comfortable with your spots in the light, I want to show these people that you all are not the heroes they need. If anything you are but sad fill-ins for the ones who were before”.
Izuku managed to release his Detroit smash, but Ref stayed in place as Izuku flew backward and again crashed into the building.
“People depend too much on you so-called heroes they can’t think for themselves. Now that the ones who made them this way have all gone, these people’s idea of heroes needs to be eliminated for a self-sufficient world”. Ref stood on a shard of mirror and it pulled him up.
Shouto shot a combination ice & fire blast at Ref which he attempted to block but it seems like he was affected by the fire as it shot him into the building above Izuku.
“Okay so it seems our attacks are ineffective or do mild damage to him, with the exception of my fire,” Shouto said as Izuku and Katsuki grouped around him.
“It seems it's something to do with the mirrors he has around him. It’s like they’re absorbing the brunt of the attack”, Izuku followed up, trying not to stare at Katsuki’s torn shorts, showing off his toned thighs and confirming to Izuku that Katsuki was wearing something skimpy underneath those shorts. Wait. What was he thinking? Izuku tried to shake that image away from his head, as he felt his dick pulse in his All Might briefs.
“So I’ll distract him with Deku while you aim at him,” Katsuki said, scratching his upper thigh, moving apart his torn shorts, showing off even more thigh to Izuku, who couldn’t keep his eyes from darting to the area.
As they planned, shards of mirror shot towards them, causing Shouto to shoot up an ice shield to block most shards from hitting him, while the other two jumped to opposite sides.
Ref emerged from the building and Shouto shot an ice beam at him, but as it hit Ref, Izuku saw one mirror shard absorb the attack and another release it back to Shouto.
“It’s a reflection! His quirk reflects attacks” Izuku yelled as the ice beam hit Shouto as he attempted to dodge. It didn’t do too much damage other than freeze his joggers (since he wasn’t wearing his fire and ice-resistant costume).
Shouto looked down and saw the ice covering his joggers, the extra weight of the ice starting to pull them down, a white waistband coming into view. Ref shot another barrage of shards and as Shouto jumped, he felt the joggers crack under the ice, the fabric easily thinning under the cold. Shouto looked down and the joggers fell even more, his whole waistband was showing, along with the white fabric of the tighty whities.
“Wrong day to wear these” he muttered to himself as he tried to pull his joggers up but he heard them start cracking. Before it could get worse, Shouto attempted to melt the ice with some fire but Ref shot out more shards around him, causing Shouto to counter with an ice beam, which Ref shot back at him. Shouto jumped out of the way but felt the blast hit his right leg. The blast, combined with the sudden movement, shattered the ice-frozen joggers, breaking in pieces as it hit the floor, leaving Shouto standing in his tighty whities.
Shouto didn’t realize his pants broke off right away. He went on and kept fighting Ref, trying to think of a way to hit him again. “Katsuki, Izuku, distract him with an over and under”, Shouto said as he immediately shot out a fire blast toward Ref. Both heroes turned to nod at Shouto and as they did, they immediately had to take a second look. The white of Shouto’s tighty whities was almost as reflective as the mirrors surrounding Ref so there was no way they could’ve missed it.
After performing the over and under, Katsuki and Izuku tried not to acknowledge Shouto’s mishap as they were still in the middle of a fight with no end seeming near, but lust took over Izuku and he couldn’t help but stare in embarrassment at Shouto, never imagining that he would ever see Shouto in his underwear, let alone skimpy ones at that.
Katsuki tried, and he really did, to not look or mention anything about pantless Shouto, but as he glanced over one last time, his delight got the best of him and he started howling with laughter.
Shouto stared puzzled at the guys, confused why they were looking his way, with Katsuki laughing out of all things. Shouto turned around to see if there was anyone behind him, and when he saw nothing he looked back, catching a glimpse of Izuku mouthing the word COVER before getting hit by some more shards.
“Cover” Shouto said to himself as he created an ice shield. As he did, he felt the very slight chill of the ice engulf his legs and in confusion, he looked down and saw his crisp, clean tighty whities shining on him, his bulge in clear view for everyone watching.
“Fucking shit”. He immediately tried to cover his bulge, but soon realized that it wouldn’t be possible as Ref shot more shards at him, breaking his ice shield and as more came his way, he had to jump to avoid them, toward Katsuki, and shot a fire blast back.
“What’s with the tighty whities”, Katsuki couldn’t help but laugh as he asked, eyeing Shouto’s body,“Couldn’t grow out of them?” Katsuki kept laughing, as he slapped Shouto’s ass.
“I- uh, laundry day” Shouto said, trying to come up with an excuse as to why he was wearing some whities, even though he knew he wore them because he liked the feel of briefs on him… it was just unfortunate that he was wearing tighty whities today instead of his black briefs.
Katsuki laughed at his response, feeling a need to continue to embarrass him. Katsuki walked closer to Shouto and as he looked down at Shouto’s ass, with the briefs hugging Shouto tight, Katsuki noticed the name, Shouto Todoroki, written in black ink across the waistband above his ass.
“Y-You” Katsuki needed to brace himself from laughing so hard, “You write your name on your TIGHTY WHITIES!” Katsuki struggled to say in between his laughter, “And I thought Deku was the nerd here”. Katsuki held his stomach as he continued to laugh.
Shouto immediately turned to face Katsuki, trying to hide the waistband. -shit shit shit- Shouto thought to himself, feeling the blood rush to his cheeks. “I, uh, ha- haven’t w- w- worn these si- since -”
Katsuki couldn’t help it as he saw Shouto standing so close to him, his pale face growing redder as the seconds went by, his stuttering mixed with the way his knees were buckled together, Shouto’s small bulge enticing Katsuki even more. Katsuki interrupted Shouto by pushing up to him, reaching behind, and giving Shouto a wedgie.
Shouto eyes enlarged right before letting out a moan in pain as Katuski laughed in his ear, feeling the fabric of his tighty whities bunch up his ass.
Katsuki would’ve kept going but he saw Izuku get flung to the ground by Ref so he let go of the waistband and swung his arms down to slap both of Shuoto’s exposed cheeks before pushing past him to take some hits at Ref.
Shouto stood still, in complete shock; he never felt this much humiliation in his life and he hoped to never feel this again. He quickly fished out the wedgie Katsuki gave him and adjusted his bulge. As he did, he couldn’t help but notice this feeling he felt as Katsuki slapped his ass, it was a weird feeling, one he’s never felt before, but before he could continue doting on what happened, Ref threw Katsuki off and turned to look at him.
“Seems like you’re not dressed for a battle,” Ref said, unable to hide his amusement at Shouto’s situation. “I wonder what the public would say if they saw their hero fighting in his tighty whities”, Ref dragging on the last two words, emphasizing Shouto’s situation.
“Th- They would say that I will do my job no matter the circumstances,” Shouto said, trying to sound as confident as possible, but in reality, he was drowning in humiliation and wishing to disappear. He hoped that no one else would see him in his tighty whities, no news crews, the public, and especially not his sidekicks, because that would be career suicide.
Izuku couldn’t help but stare at Shouto and that bulge of his, small, but still bouncing as he moved on the battlefield. Whenever he would turn, Izuku would catch a glimpse of Shouto’s perfect ass, wishing he could spend time just watching him. Izuku’s dick pulsed in his briefs, he could feel a wet patch form around his bulge, making him more frustrated that he couldn’t enjoy the moment.
“Snap out of it Deku” Katsuki said, a twinge of jealousy coating those words. “We need to get Shouto out of here before he shows off more”.
Izuku grew red as he started imagining Shouto losing his tighty whities too, watching Shouto’s bulge jiggle with every jump, imagining seeing it jiggle without the tighty whities to cover… Izuku’s wet bulge pressed hard against his pants, his All-might briefs feeling stretched to their capacity. “Ye- yeah”
Shouto was knocked against a building wall as he tried to evade Refs light beams. Ref took an interest in him after Shouto lost his pants, using shard blasts to keep the others back.
Shouto got up and shot a fire blast towards Ref, but Ref used a stored blast from Katsuki to deflect it. Ref countered with a light blast, but Shouto immediately used an ice platform to help him dodge the attack and move more freely around the area. Shouto caught a glimpse of Katsuki and Izuku talking, Izuku focusing his stare on Shouto, causing him to start blushing as he dodged more of Refs attacks.
As Shouto saw the two begin to close in behind Ref, he tried getting to higher ground, distracting Ref from the ground, allowing Izuku and Katsuki to execute whatever they were talking about earlier. As Shouto shot up, Ref used one of Katsuki’s stored blasts, breaking the ice platform Shouto was on and sending Shouto flying against a building. As Shouto hit the wall, he attempted to grab onto something but Ref shot another light beam Shouto’s way, pressing his body flat against the broken wall, Shouto’s head crashed onto some rubble, immediately causing him to lose consciousness.
Ref attempted to hit him again, but Izuku attacked Ref from behind, causing Ref to turn his back on Shouto and focus on Katsuki and Izuku.
As the two fought Ref, Shouto’s limp body fell from where he crashed onto the building, about the 26th floor. The guys didn’t see Shouto free falling as they were too busy fighting Ref but around the 14th floor, Shouo came to an abrupt stop as a piece of metal sticking out from one of the buildings caught Shouto’s tighty whities waistband and stretched them out in a wedgie, keeping him hanging. His red and white hair fell over his face as his body slightly swayed in the wind, Shouto fully on display for Ref and his two friends.
After dodging an attack from Ref, Katsuki searched the area for Shouto since he went radio silent. As Katsuki looked to where he saw Shouto last, he was greeted by Shouto and the hanging wedgie that held him, his small bulge looking smaller than it was as it was being squeezed tightly. Katuski couldn’t help himself and let out a thunderous laugh.
“Where’s a camera when I need one,” Katsuki said as he tried to breathe in between his laughter, his face turning red from the joy he was feeling seeing his friend in such a humiliating and compromising situation.
Izuku dodged Ref after a failed attack and when he did, he looked at where a hysterical Katsuki was pointing and his jaw dropped. Seeing Shouto hanging from a beam unconscious, in an incredulous wedgie was something he thought he’d never see. Shouto’s unconscious body slowly turned in the wind, showing off his pale ass, the reddening of his pale skin around his asscrack, and how deep the tighty whities were buried in his crack, before turning back and showing off his small bulge being squeezed flat against his body. Izuku couldn't help but stagger his breathing and unconsciously grab his bulge, feeling the pleasure of seeing his friend’s body too intense for him.
Ref noticed the two heroes looking at Shouto, one in amusement and one in lustful embarrassment, and saw his chance. He blasted Katsuki with a stored ice blast from Shouto, freezing his torn shorts, and sent him flying against the statue, breaking it into pieces as Katsuki flew through and onto the floor behind it.
As Katsuki got up, he realized all his clothes shattered with the impact and was left in his red and green Izuku-themed briefs. The waistband and stitching of the briefs were red as the rest was green, perfectly matching Izuku’s green costume. On the ass of the briefs were two black lines, mimicking the ones on Izuku’s costume, and on the crotch, Izuku’s autograph pressed on.
“Fuck” Katsuki said, not knowing what to do. His sculpted pecs and abs, slick with sweat, shimmered against the sunlight, and his defined thighs, peppered with thin blonde hair, were visible to everyone. He especially didn’t want Izuku to see him in briefs that he got specially made to mimic Deku’s costume.
Ref shot a blast toward Izuku, but Izuku was prepared after seeing Katsuki get hit and dodged swiftly, countering with his Detroit smash, sending Ref flying onto the building where Shouto hung.
The impact on the building woke Shouto up, and as he regained consciousness, he immediately felt a heavy pain in his crotch. Shouto blinked rapidly, adjusting his vision, before looking down and being stunned by what he saw. The instant humiliation his body felt, splotches of red covering his face, neck, and chest, seeing his crotch flattened against his body as a hanging wedgie exposed him to Ref, his friends and coworkers Katsuki and Izuku, and if anyone was left in these buildings surrounding, them as well. Shouto quickly created an ice platform that helped him stand to relieve the wedgie, and as he did, he quickly pulled the wedgie out and created an ice pathway to the ground, behind some rubble to adjust himself.
The briefs were stretched beyond repair, and he knew they would fall off quickly if he left them like this. He already felt naked, his bare pale chest and abs fully on display for everyone to see, and his bare legs as well, with only the remnants of the stretched brief to cover up the last two parts that haven’t been exposed, he needed to make sure to keep it that way. So he gathered the stretched fabric and made a knot to his right. It helped keep them up, but he could still feel some looseness to them. He adjusted his bulge as the crotch of the brief was slightly skewed right due to the knot, and as he saw it was the best that he could do, took a deep breath before jumping back in.
Izuku ran toward Katsuki as he saw Shouto getting out of the insanely revealing wedgie from above… he kinda wished Shouto stayed unconscious longer so he would’ve been the one to help him and see his body close up in those taut briefs. But as he got to Katsuki, that thought left his mind in a heartbeat.
“K- Ka- Kacchan! Your, uh, um, clothes” Izuku said, his face burning red, as he saw Katsuki getting up from the ice surrounding him and his briefs in full view. His bulge, easily bigger than Shouto’s, but not huge, jiggled as he stood.
“I don’t want to hear anything about it” Katsuki seethed, feeling blood rush to his face as he felt entirely exposed… to the one person he never thought he would be exposed to.
Izuku looked stunned, his briefs now entirely soaked in precum, his dick hurting pressed against his own briefs, needing to come out. “I, uh, I-“ Izuku couldn’t get a word out as he continued to stare at Katsuki’s bulge and the autograph that was on it.
“What Deku! We all wear underwear so what. Stop staring at me and get back to the battle” Kacchan blasted himself to where Ref landed.
Izuku followed and as he did, he saw Katsuki’s ass filling out the briefs. But as he kept staring he saw two black lines that resembled his costume. ~Why do Kaachan’s briefs seem so familiar~ Izuku thought to himself, a sensation boiling in his bulge as he continued staring at Kaachan’s ass.
Shouto landed next to Katsuki. “Not laughing anymore I see” Shouto looked Katsuki up and down, lingering a little too long on Katsuki’s bulge. He then looked down at his to compare the difference… a small frown appeared on his face.
“Mine are not as embarrassing as yours are. And who was the one who got wedgied, by a BUILDING in their TIGHTY WHITIES?” Kaachan snarled, his face began blushing, while blotches of red formed on his chest from the embarrassment.
“I, uh… at the end of the day, we’re all in our underwear on the battlefield so we’re all even,” Shouto said trying to take the attention off of him, he’s had more than enough today.
“Seems like you’re the lucky one huh Izuku” Shouto said, as he turned back and saw a film of lust coating Izuku’s eyes, a wet patch growing on the crotch of Izuku’s joggers.
“Ye- yeah,” Izuku said, quickly looking away at the rumbling debris in front of them.
Ref climbed the debris in front of him and as he did, you could see the damage Izuku’s attack had on him.
“You all got lucky. I got distracted by your childish mistakes that I let my guard down. But I’ll be back.” Ref said he heard the sidekicks trying to break through the blocked area.
“And don’t think I’ll forget what happened here. Two of you fighting indecently in your underwear, one hanging from a wedgie while the other letting his guard down to laugh at his fellow teammate. You are NOT the heroes you think you are.”
Both Shouto and Katsuki lunged toward Ref, Izuku tried but his mind was lost watching both of his closest friends jump in skimpy and revealing briefs, their ass muscles flexing in unison as they reached Ref.
They both grabbed Ref by his arms, their bulges both jiggling as they held a squirming Ref in place.
Ref smiled. “I’ll be back. And when I do, I’ll show the world who their heroes are, a bunch of man-babies who laugh or lust after each other's tighty whities instead of focusing on the battle”. And before anyone could do anything, there was a flash of bright light that threw Shouto and Katsuki to the sides and when the light vanished, Ref was gone.
Katsuki and Shouto got up and looked around for traces of Ref while Izuku stared at them, bending over in their briefs and watching their bulges jiggle as they walked.
“I don’t think there’s anything left. We should go check if his goons disappeared as well. If they’re still there, we'll have some lead on his whereabouts” Izuku said, turning away from his friends, he couldn’t focus while looking at them.
“Yeah you’re right,” Shouto said, as he and Katsuki started walking with Izuku toward where Ref blocked the entry with rubble.
“Uhhhhh, wou- would you g-g-guys want to try to find clothes first” Izuku stuttered, turning around to see both of their exposed briefs, Shouto’s smaller bulge jiggling to a stop while Katsuki’s slightly larger one still jiggling.
Izuku looked down at Katsuki’s briefs, swearing he’s seen that color combination before, and Katsuki looked down at Shouto’s tighty whities, stifling a laugh at the severely stretched out but tightened by the knot, quite sexy to look at if you think about it. They both grew red again and agreed as they turned back and ran into one of the damaged buildings to see if they could find some clothes to cover up… at least some pants.
As they did, Izuku was left to help the sidekicks and police enter the area, his bulge slowly shrinking, with that wet spot completely visible to whoever looked down at his joggers.

Shouto’s first kiss
Genre: Fluff
Pairing: TodoKiri (Todoroki Shouto X Kirishima Eijirou), dash of BakuDeku.
Synopsis: Kirishima and Shouto have been spending a lot of time together, feelings come out and feelings are shared.
————————————————
After the second war, society has slowly been rebuilding itself, and they stumbled but they were getting there to a better place. The new school year at UA had started and Class-1A, though officially they should have moved up sooner, are now Class-2A and are eager to be just students just teenagers again. Todoroki Shouto for one was happy he could finally relax, the last year being one of the most difficult years to handle for him. His father’s abuse displayed to the world, and his eldest brother believed to be dead alive and a villain.
Now though Shouto could focus on his school lessons, his dreams of being a reassuring hero and pursuing these feelings he had for a fellow student. Since the start of the new year, Shouto has been spending more and more time with Kirishima, and this was his first time feeling like this. Feeling like he was made of jelly, whenever Kirishima complimented him, feeling fluffy whenever Kirishima was near, and he felt like he was invincible like he was free. So, Shouto wanted to keep feeling those feelings, and in that case he would take any moment any chance to hang with Kirishima. Which is why when the new aquarium opened Shouto got tickets, and invited Kirishima to join him there. The two had just arrived at the aquarium, and were admiring the fish swimming. The lil nemo’s, catfish’s and the small sharks. Shouto peaks into one of the tanks, and then at the small board that has information on them. Stonefish.
“Hey Kirishima it’s just like you” Shouto said smiling, as he pulled Kirishima over to the tank.
“A stonefish” Kirishima reads, and then looks at the fish, “ehh but it’s so ugly am I that ugly?” Kirishima whines with a pout.
“I think it’s beautiful” Shouto replies, as he looked at this fish, “you too” he adds quickly. Kirishima looks to him eyes wide, causing Shouto to surprisingly blush.
“Well come look at this fish” Kirishima said smiling, as he pulls Shouto over to another tank. “The emperor snapper its red and white just like you” Kirishima said, as he ruffles Shouto’s hair.
“Heh we both got our fishes then” Shouto said, as he watches the fish swim by, “let’s go see the sharks the big ones…they look even more like you” he said softly, as he drags Kirishima to the next section of the aquarium.
The rest of the day went on with them enjoying the sharks, which Kirishima took great pleasure in showing off his shark-like teeth to them. Entranced by the dolphin and whale show, and intrigued by the octopuses and jellyfishes. By lunchtime they enjoyed meaty burgers, surgery goods and milkshakes - strawberry for Shouto and mint chocolate for Kirishima. They ended the day by seeing the turtles, and listening to the seal talk before making a leave of the establishment. The day was going so well for them, the aquarium was buzzful, the day bright and everything was going accordingly well. Until they stepped out of the establishment, and the weather turns sour as rain begins to pour soaking the two boys.
“My father’s home is close by let’s go there until the weather dries” Shouto suggested, to which Kirishima wholeheartedly agreed with him.
So, the two boys took off running for his father’s house, in hopes of getting out of the wet and into the dry. Not that it mattered they were already soaked right through, but they ran nonetheless because they didn’t want to get colds. So they ran and ran until finally they made it through the front door of his father’s house. After everything Enji and Touya resided in the old house, while Shouto and the others lived elsewhere but it’s not to say Shouto never visited them. Shouto and Kirishima take off their shoes, and coats before heading further into the house. Enji soon appears from around one of the corners.
“Shouto what brings you here? Oh you brought a friend” Enji said as he allowed them into the living room, Touya was say on the couch.
“Hi I’m Kirishima Eijirou it’s nice to meet you” Kirishima introduced himself, even though it’s not like he was completely unaware of who Enji was.
“We’re just going to dry off” Shouto said calmly, as he grabs Kirishima by the wrist and begins to drag him away.
“I’m about to cook dinner why don’t you stay for dinner? both of you” Enji suggested, Shouto turned to look at his father shocked.
“Since when do you cook?” Shouto asked shocked, cocking an eyebrow.
“Old fart has to entertain himself somehow…now that he’s retired and one armed” Touya spoke up.
“Well stay” Shouto replies, he was curious now to see if his father’s cooking would be on par with Fuyumi’s or not.
“Thank you for the kind gesture” Kirishima said with a bow, before he followed Shouto out of the room.
They entered what was Shouto’s old room, and technically still was if he ever stayed over the night. Shouto fished out some fresh clothes for them both, as well as towels to dry themselves off with. Quietly the two changed from wet clothes to dry clothes, drying themselves as they went before moving to sit on the futon together.
“I had a lot of fun today” Kirishima said smiling, as he finished drying his hair off.
“Kirishima I….I want you to know that I really appreciated your support in everything….after the first war when everything was going wrong you were there for me offering me comfort, showing me support and comfort it felt like you were my biggest supporter and after the second war you were there again” Shouto spoke, finally bringing up a lot of what he’s been wanting to say to Kirishima, “thank you so much” he adds.
“You were my friend and you were hurting you don’t need to thank me but you’re welcome” Kirishima said gently, he smiled at Shouto, but he soon noticed the wet still dripping down Shouto’s face and off his hair. “Come here let me dry you off” he said softly.
Shouto scoots closer to him, and let’s Kirishima dry his face off with a small towel. He then throws the towel over Shouto’s head and begins to rub his hair dry, he paused as the towel draped over Shouto’s face.
“Eh?” Shouto murmurs confused, as he surrendered to Kirishima.
“Just stay still” Kirishima whispered, as he leans in slowly.
Kirishima closes the distance between them, capturing Shouto’s lips in a soft but passionate kiss. To which he eagerly returned with a slight worry in the back of his head, murmuring that he was coming off maybe too desperate. He wanted this though, he really did so he returned the kiss with a fluttering chest. His lips slowly moving against Kirishima’s as he wrapped his arms around Kirishima’s neck. After a few minutes which was probably closer to a few seconds, the boys separated but Kirishima kept the towel hiding Shouto’s eyes and Shouto kept his arms around Kirishima’s neck.
“I think I love you” Shouto blurts out, maybe it was just the euphoria of the kiss that made him feel this, but he was sure of himself for once.
“Me too” Kirishima replies his voice soft, as he moves the towel to cover Shouto’s lips. He stared into the mismatched eyes, that have been in his dreams and offers him a soft smile. “Me too Shouto” “Y-you called me Shouto” said Shouto, a smile gracing his face as he pulls the towel out from under Kirishima’s hand.
“I did….is that ok?” Kirishima asks, Shouto nods his head. “I’m going to kiss you again” he says.
Before leaning in and kissing Shouto again, who eagerly returned the kiss. They continued to kiss, cheeks flushed and body’s close as they clutched at each other. The kiss lasted a little longer than the first, but they soon pulled a part and settled down to cuddle and chat about the day, the fishes and the little things before dinner time.
Lil later,
After eating with Enji and Touya, the two boys had returned back to UA. So here Shouto and Kirishima were walking into the dorms, hand in hand and a huge smile on Kirishima’s face. They were greeted by Izuku and Katsuki heading their way with garbage, Izuku’s eyes beaming as he spots them.
“Todoroki Kirishima your back” Izuku exclaimed happily, as he stopped in front of them.
“Thank god I can finally stop hearing your yapping about half’n’half” Katsuki spat, as he takes in the couple.
“Hey that’s no fair we as a whole class had to put up with you raging for month heh if not years instead of just sucking up the fact that you love Midoriya” Kirishima exclaimed, as he defended himself.
“Why you” Katsuki growls, as he drops the garbage, “forgive me” Kirishima squeaks, as he quickly pecks Shouto on the cheek.
Before taking off as Katsuki gives chase, small explosions popping off as he chased. Shouto and Izuku laugh at their two boyfriends, and their silly antics.
“Let me help you Midoriya” Shouto said, as he picked up the forgotten bags.
“Yes because then you can tell me everything” Izuku beamed, as they left the dorm buildings together, and Izuku was happy to hear about how amazing the date was and how happy Shouto was. He had his first kiss, his first date and the feelings he had festered were fruitfully returned in earnest.

Shouto’s part: Written by my rp partner
It hadn't been that long since Shoto had stopped calling Aevi and leaving messages on her phone, knowing that she would never get them, that he was just talking to air. A voice that no longer led to the girl he had fallen in love with. He hadn't really moved on, but Shoto was getting better, his heart slowly healing. Meeting Anna had changed everything for him. She had been the person he needed to breathe life back into his soul, to reform his body from the shattered mess he was. She put back the pieces of his heart bit by bit until he was finally able to send one last voicemail telling Aevi goodbye, and that he loved her. He always would, but it was time for him to go now. Shoto had spent too much time pining for what he could no longer have, and his friends were right; it hadn't been healthy.
It had been a couple months now since he finally let go and his relationship with Anna had flourished. Some of it, he knew, was because she resembled Aevi so much that it was, at times, easy to forget that she wasn't...and sometimes he felt guilty, thinking that his loss was the only reason he was interested in her to begin with. But, he also knew that this wasn't true. He fell for her in a way that was new and exciting, something totally unpredictable but not unwanted. And when he looked at Anna, his heart sang with that love, helping him heal a little more all the time.
Today they were at a festival.  Some of their friends had invited the couple and honestly, Shoto was already considering going. It wasn't often that UA students got to get out of the school and go to a public event, especially 1-A with all the trouble they have gotten into over the years pretty much from day one. The weather was warm and everyone was laughing. There was food to be eaten and laughs to be had... Everything had been perfect for one tiny sliver of a day. But then it all just...twisted. Contorted into the nightmare that he was looking at now. Betrayal clear on his face as he looked into the eyes of the girl he had thought was dead for the past several months. Throwing out some trash from her food...Present Mic and Aizawa-sensi hot on her heels...until they laid eyes on him.
"Someone want to tell me what the hell is going on...Aevi, is that really you?" His voice was deathly calm,  the type of tone that you tried to use when you knew you were about to break. The tone his own father used when he was in trouble as a child. Or when he was apprehending criminals. Aevi’s part: Written by Anri (me) With a skip in her step and a smile on her lips, a girl with dark hair's mellow brown eyes lit up with joy. Her eyes sparkled with mischievous glee and her hair swirled around in wild waves. As she skipped down the busy street of Shinjuku, her laughter rang out like music.
For Aevi, it was simply the perfect day. The best day in her life, so far. After all, it's her first time leaving the "orphanage" to go to visit the city, the festival at that, despite having lived in Shinjuku for eight months already. She simply wasn't allowed to go out because it was dangerous. Especially for her. No, not Aevi.
It wasn't as if her teachers don't understand her desire to go out and see the world for herself again, she had no memories of anything, after all. But they were genuinely worried about the potential chaos that her quirk would cause. Try as she might to convince them otherwise that she would definitely behave, Aevi knew deep down that their concerns were valid.
Her teachers would watch as the poor girl glumly stared out at the window, dreaming with *such* want, desire in her eyes to be able to use her wings to fly freely in the outside world. That's why when Aevi spent literally months trying to win over her teachers, giving them little handmade gifts - sweet little trinkets that showed them how much she appreciated their effort and support.. their resolve were slowly crumbling down.
At first, she felt like it didn't do anything at all, so she had to resort to doing volunteer works for the orphanage, eagerly doing chores everyone hated and using her infamous puppy eyes no one was able to ignore. Once she noticed it was time for the final blow, she negotiated and reassured her teachers that even though she may pose a problem, she would do her absolute best to keep everyone safe. Hence, she had to spend months upon months of quirk training and self defense. Her hard work paid off even though she was just barely able to protect herself, as her teachers said. So to take precautionary measures, she had to go with at least a couple adults around.
"Aevi, I told you to stop running through the crowd—-" Hizashi Yamada scolded the girl as his eyes widened at the scene that was unfolding in front of him. As Aevi was throwing away her trash in the trash can, she seem to have ran into a group of people.
The girl tilted her head in confusion as strangers she had never seen before seem to have mentioned her name. Were they talking to her? "I'm sorry, do I happen to know you?" She smiled at the group warmly as she asked in a polite manner. Aevi suddenly felt a jolt as her teachers grabbed her arm, pulling her back.

Peppermint \\ Shouto/OC
tags\\ fluff
Eun has sudden candy craving. Shouto is offscreen. Prequel to Ice Skating.
Eun was never really one for candy, yet lately, she’d had an inexplicable craving for peppermint. Maybe it was the tea Yoko had made her–drinking tea was her newest method on her mission to quit alcohol–or the gum Daisuke gave her because her breath was beyond offensive. Either way, she found herself in the candy aisle at the grocery store, tapping her lip and scanning for her target.
“Ah-hah!” Target acquired. She snatched up a small bag of round candies and hurried to the front register, ignoring the occasional whisper from other shoppers. The clerk gave her a look, which she also ignored, and remained silent during and after the transaction. Eun thanked her and left, clutching the bag to her chest.
Upon returning to Yoko’s house, she was unsurprised to find the woman curled on her side, half her body hidden under the kotatsu, and snoring quietly. Eun shook her head and went to the couch to get a pillow. Yoko’s cranky, old Persian cat jumped off it and onto the table, where he sat and began to groom his paws. Carefully, Eun crouched down beside her guardian and slipped the pillow under her head, smiling when she muttered in her sleep. Something about fish.
Eun returned to the closet she called a bedroom, although it was technically a large pantry they converted when she moved in. Now, it was home, even though it had long strings of beads for a door. Truthfully, she preferred them over the shuttered folding doors from its storage days. Her single mattress bed creaked when she jumped onto it and crossed her legs, the bag of candy on her lap. She tore it open, cringing at the crinkle of the plastic despite knowing Yoko could sleep through a hurricane.
She untwisted the ends of a piece and held it up between her index and thumb, looking at the red and white swirls that had taunted her all week. Just when she went to pop it into her mouth, her phone buzzed in her pocket.
Todo-doki-doki [[4:43pm]] : Are you busy tonight?
Her thumb hovered over the keyboard as she stared at the picture attached to his contact information–Shouto just outside the UA dorms, looking surprised (and a little confused) directly at the phone she’d used to capture the moment. The memory was still clear in her head, of simply sitting in the comfortable silence that had come to represent their friendship, even while her stomach filled with butterflies. She’d meant to catch his profile, the sunlight a halo around his head, the white half of his hair glowing with the rest of him, and no sign of the scar that made her heart ache. Eun smiled to herself; it really was a different time, and yet mere months ago.
After a moment more of reminiscing, realization smacked her in the forehead. So did her own palm. She held up the candy again, looked at her phone, then back to the candy. It wasn’t the tea or the gum. Slightly embarrassed and yet infinitely giddier, she popped the candy into her mouth and returned to her phone.
[[4:50pm]] : I’m free! Think you can top our last date?

i feel like even if you’re anime only- bkg is NOT compatible to endvr 💀💀 bkg used to be a bully. when they entered UA, he stopped? yeah he kept up w the names with everyone around him and still obv kept his aggressive nature, but he stopped actually bullying midoriya. endvr is NOT a bully, he is an ab*ser. they never have and never will be comparable at all
EXACTLY ‼️ bakugou is literally a child who even had the sense to acknowledge his actions and in small ways make it up to midoriya, sure he’s a bit of an ass at times but like he STOPPED bullying deku just as you said !! endeavour is a grown ass man who knew exactly what he was doing and went thru harming 4 children to the point where one ‘died’?? kept up his emotionally abusive behaviour WHILE shouto was in U.A like ,, pls ?? and only after nearly dying did he realise “hm maybe i shouldn’t have done that to my family”

“So, Ki. ~Eijirou~ was there.” Shouto teased his brother. The other immediately blushed and started sparking off and angrily sputtering. Toshi barked a laugh at that, and even Zu, who was now walking, but still holding dad’s hand, grinned widely.
The black haired boy, who had dyed his hair red, had been a regular costumer at their cafe for a little under two years now. He had been shyer at first, but had opened up with time and even managed to befriend the explosive teen all on his own with his increasingly sunshine-y personality. It had helped that said teen had developed a crush on the pointy-teethed boy, something all of his siblings often teased him for.
While they had known Eijirou (who had insisted they call him by his first name since he did the same to them to avoid the confusion of having so many Aizawas) was attending UA (the boy having told them so excitedly during one of his visits) they hadn’t really expected to meet him there. Shouto was already thinking on how much time he would bet the others it would take before the hero in training realised he already knew who the vigilantes were under their masks.
“Shut up, Sho! He doesn’t even know who i am under the mask!” Katsuki finally managed to reply as they went up the stairs and into their home. Shouto chuckled and gave the other a smirk.
They had arrived at their little afternoon and evening cafe, Bermuda. Originally the name was just the first thing they had come up with because they needed to call the place something, but it eventually came to fit well, the place becoming somewhere anyone looking for sanctuary could come and get lost in, a place where no one would find them (and harm them). If Shouto were to get even more poetic, he’d even say compasses stopped working in there, the moral kind at least, since so long as you weren’t a major asshole or started a fight, anyone, hero, villain, vigilante, civilian, was allowed in indiscriminately.
Bermuda had come about four years ago, when dad had already found him and all of his siblings and had decided he needed a more stable income than “bartender at a seedy bar on a bad part of town” and a home for his family better than “the crumbling apartment he could afford with that”. After calling in some favours he was owed and some help from his friends, dad had somehow gotten a small two story building, miraculously cheap thanks to the fact it was said to be haunted. In Shouto’s humble opinion, the only thing haunting the building was his family, who lived upstairs of the cafe.
They all went into their home to change and get ready to open up the cafe, the house currently empty since the four oldest siblings were at a friends house for the day. They bickered and teased Katsuki while they prepped the cafe for opening, and only really let up once the first costumer came in.
Teasing looks got thrown all over the place when a certain redhead walked into the cafe, though. Specially since the boy was none the wiser as to just who he was talking to.

Shouta had to steer his youngest four back to work a few times, but he wasn’t really bothered by the easygoing atmosphere they had made. Shouta would never call them out on having fun and feeling well, as long as it didn’t put them in danger.  His youngest was already opening up again and becoming more animated, even if he still hadn’t verbally spoken.
As afternoon turned into evening and evening turned into night the last patrons left their little Bermuda Triangle. Shouta was picking up the plates and mugs on the tables when he saw it.
The napkin.
He probably would’ve just bunched it up and thrown it away with the rest of the trash if he hadn’t caught sight of the ink at the last second. Initially he thought perhaps someone had just made random notes on the napkin, or maybe a drawing to pass the time, but as he uncurled the white thing his stomach dropped to the other side of the world.
‘I see after the fight that your kids are doing well. Hope that it stays that way’
It wasn’t signed.
Rationally thinking, it could really have been a random note. Maybe someone was thinking of what to say to someone else. Maybe the note was for someone else. Maybe it was for Shouta, but it was worry instead of a threat. But the father could not take any chances. Not where his family was concerned. Specially when they, above all Izuku, still had the last dregs of a criminal organisation after them that neither they nor the heroes had managed to bring down yet.
The man wanted to punch a wall so badly. He would’ve, had he been alone. Scaring his kids wasn’t worth it, though. When he had adopted them, first just emotionally, then with illegally forged documents and then had finally legally turned them all into Aizawas with Nedzu’s help, Shouta had promised both himself and them that he would never hit them. Never lash out at them, never lash out around them. They had all seen and lived more than enough of that.
His blood boiled more. He hated his children’s biological parents. He hated All for One and his stupid followers who were still out there, looking for revenge on the son they had literally dumped in the trash after the father had been killed almost six years ago. He fucking hated the lives his kids had been made to have before he found them.
But he would always, always, love his kids more than he could ever hate anyone else.
So he would protect them. Make sure the lives they had all built wouldn’t end. Make sure they didn’t have to suffer like that anymore. Ever. All for One’s trice damned organisation would come down. Soon. Shouta would make sure of that. He put the napkin in his pocket and kept on cleaning the place up.
He would have to tell his children once the older ones returned home.
_________________________________________________
People usually didn’t expect Izuku to cuss. They said he looked too nice and cute (whatever the hell that had to do with cussing?) and with his quiet demeanor, most thought him a purehearted fluffy thing or something. Thing is, not only did he have Katsuki as a brother, the rest of his family didn’t particularly have a filter either. So he thought it was pretty in-character when he let out a very long ‘FUUUUUUUUCKKK’ as his first word after not speaking the whole day when dad told them there was a good chance All for One’s the fucker people were either making a move or planning to do it.
The retrograde soggy pancake of a man that was his unfortunate DNA donor had been dead for years thankfully and he was still causing trouble for Izuku and his family. What a bother. The dead really had no respect for the living. Bastards.
In theory, the green eyed teen understood that as long as All for One’s followers were still free, he wouldn’t fully be. Him and his family and dad’s hero friends and UA had managed to get most of them locked up forever, but there were still some out there. It was just their luck that ‘quality over quantity’ applied, since it was the ones closest to All for One and therefore the most powerful that were still out there, looking to be assholes and mess with Izuku’s existance.
In practice, Izuku sometimes even managed to forget there were people still after him. He was so happy, felt so safe, so good, when he was with his family, the people who had found him and taken him in and taken care of him and taught him how to live and not just survive. He didn’t even want to think that losing them was a possibility. He didn’t want to be alone.
But Izuku wasn’t alone anymore. He knew, down to the deepest depths of his bones, that his family would be with him through it all. Things would never again be as bad as they had been before they had found him and taken him in. Together they would get through whatever the All Gang decided to do. As a matter of fact, this time, they would be the ones going down, down to where they would never be able to hurt anyone ever again.
That didn’t mean he didn’t still get scared.
He only noticed he was lightly shaking and breathing a bit faster than usual when he felt arms slowly and gently wrap around his midsection from the back, silently asking if a hug was alright. Looking down, he instantly recognised the forearms as Touya’s. Izuku melted into the embrace, grateful for the warmth the other provided. That was all the answer his brother needed to fully embrace him, supporting all of the younger’s weight in his arms.
After some much needed hugs from his family, they moved to the kitchen to discuss what they would do next.
They didn’t have much to go on other than the napkin and with it the knowledge that someone was watching, at the very least. They knew who the three bosses were, the three who had been directly under All for One’s orders and no one else’s. They knew their quirks, their appearances, names. But that was all old news. More important was whether or not they had gotten more followers, and if so, how many.
They needed to get the information first. How many, why now, what where they doing? Kai, Touya, Tenko and Himiko, who were all between 18 and 20 and therefore allowed to go out alone as vigilantes, volunteered to up patrols and look for information. Dad said yes as long as the buddy system was in place. He then called UA for help, one because they were a part of the case, and two because their contract worked in that both parties, legal and illegal, helped each other out when needed. Izuku and his remaining (still underage) brothers were to be with someone trusted at all times. The green eyed boy wasn’t complaining about that, he did not want to be caught. He couldn’t go back. Ever. Best case scenario, they’d kill him, but he doubted that. He shook his head. He didn’t need those thoughts right now, he was with his family and they would protect him. There. Suck it, fear.
He focused back on the conversation just as dad was telling them to go to sleep for now, Himiko quickly declaring it a fort night (im so sorry). Tenko, Himiko, Izuku and Shouto went to get everybody’s blankets and pillows to make the fort in the living room, big enough for all of them to cat-pile in and sleep. Touya busied himself with calling his chicken of a boyfriend to bring him into the loop, while Kai called some friends who also happened to be vigilantes. Katsuki, Hitoshi and dad took the opportunity to be the first to get ready for bed (or technically the floor, tonight) while the others were busy.
Soon enough everybody was ready to turn in for the night. In a mess of limbs on the floor, Izuku had little trouble falling asleep. Sure, he was worried and scared, and he was more likely than not going to wake up from nightmares tonight, but he knew his family would be there for him always.
Being found by the most amazing people in the world had been the best thing to ever happen in Izuku’s life. The first good thing.
He wouldn’t let anyone take that away, much less the memory and legacy of a dead man he had never wanted any relation to in the first place.
With his family, everything would be ok.

a world turned upside down:
did stain die... did kyuubi and nogitsune help tenya murk that loser? and did tenya join the ninth sphere immediately after stain, or was it like... he was recruited but kept going to UA for appearances, but after summer break, tenya never went back to UA?
Stain is indeed dead! And yeah that honestly pretty well sums up what happened. Izuku and Shouto here stumbled into this world's version of Hosu, having already been hunting Stain (they viewed the attack on Tensei as a step too far in Stain's bullshit) and helped Tenya avenge his brother. He ended up joining out of gratitude and loyalty and then served as a spy at UA, along with Momo. He's the one who let them know Inasa was a potential recruit.
Three months after graduating is when Tenya revealed to the world at large that he was the Ninth Sphere member Fujin. That's the same time Momo revealed herself as Tyche.
