Okay consider: Tddk Johnlock AU. Kinda.
Izuku is an excellent (and fraudulent) detective who is faking a psychic quirk and constantly expects to be Found Out. He has adopted that bbc!sherlock-typical dramatic flair to distract people from noticing anything. But also at least some of the mania is real because he just genuinely loves his job. he loves solving crimes and helping people. He declares high profile rich people cases as "Boring!" and leaves to help a little girl find her rabbit. People think he's a mad lad. He routinely gets into so much fucking trouble. He is the bane of Tsukauchi's existence. He's incredibly lonely. and also a borderline vigilante. He is the only Consulting Detective in the world. He is in need of a roommate.
On the other hand- Todoroki Shouto. Todoroki has had a hellish couple years. He stayed isolated and removed through all three years of U.A. Endeavor never succeeded in convincing him to use his fire but he did, through a variety of means, manage to pressure him into joining his agency after UA. This, of course, went horribly. It all comes to a head when Shouto disobeys direct orders and lets a villain go to protect a civilian family. He ends up using his fire in the ensuing fight, resulting in property damage, a bullet in his shoulder and a psychosomatic leg injury. Endeavor demands to know when he's coming back now that he's done with his "childish rebellion". Shouto snaps and hands in his resignation. (Lots of media drama. Shouto's half a legend, half disgrace) Endeavor cuts off his finances and also his options (as in-other agencies). Shouto tries to look into other careers but finds that he misses the thrill of heroism, if nothing else. He's on his last legs when he runs into an old acquaintance......
"I don't know.....couldn't you get a flat share or something?"
Todoroki finds himself scoffing "Please, who'd want me for a flatmate?" But Uraraka laughs suddenly, thoughtful.
"What?"
"It's just....you're the second person to say that to me today."
