Finished fixing up this little guy the other day. He was a gift from my brother, but he was looking a bit rough and needed some cleaning up. I cleaned the dust and debris out of the fur, removed the damaged leather and replaced it with a layer of moss, added some lovely little florals, crystals, and insects (real and paper). Visually, it’s a bit busy, but ya’ll know me with my maximalist aesthetics. 😆 I really like this guy. I realized recently that I don’t have any photos of mule deer mounts for my online portfolio. These two big guys were finished and photographed almost a year ago-- I’m just that behind on photos.

Dwayne the Deer Johnson. I didn’t actually hunt this guy, I bought his pelt. Honestly I think overall, he’s my most ‘technically correct’ mount if that makes sense. He’s a creeper and peeks around the corner into my bedroom, and he’s named after a Bambi parody trailer I found Got a brand new pew pew with my stimulus and hope to get a deer of my own that I can say I did up from hunting to mounting.
