More extremely specific rules in my PokeFEH AU world building:

> To have a shiny Mimikyu would defeat the ENTIRE PURPOSE of Mimikyu itself. ALL of the storytelling of it. Of being something cast aside, thrown away, abandoned, and regarded with fear and scorn. To make something so completely undesirable Desirable, especially through "This One Factor Makes It Special (and therefore "redeems" it of all previous perceptions)" is like, the ANTHESIS of The Purpose of Mimikyu. AND only serves to fuel the deep self-hatred, the feelings of resentment and spite at Being Unwanted when all it ever has longed for ALL it has Made Itself To Be IS to be Wanted. What about all the other Mimikyus? The completely average Mimikyus with Nothing special about them? Who will NOT be Chosen Over the special, sparkly one? The Best One? The most Desirable One?

So Moe has a completely average non-shiny Mimikyu. Okay! 👍 One idea I played with though, is having Moe's handmade custom Mimikyu hoodie be the shiny version. LIKE THIS LITTEN CARD

You can SEE. Whoever lives here, ADORES LITTEN. They have two pet Littens. Neither of them shiny. Like beyond what I was saying previously, shinyness is SO RARE that it would take insane luck or Purpose to find one. This person seems to be an avid Litten enjoyer, but an otherwise completely normal person. So they have merch!!!! They have a little picture OF a shiny Litten!!! They even have an Incinaroar plush, which makes me imagine if they are an average person (not a serious trainer!) -- maybe they don't have the space or resources to care for a whole ass Incinaroar. But they still like it! So they have a plush of it!

So back to Moe, the Mimikyu it has, and its hoodie, the story goes: Moe loves the SHIT out of that fucking thang. Extremely fucking passionate about that thang, both the (un)living (un)breathing(?) Mimikyu that rides on its shoulder and The Concept of Mimikyu, the Pokemon. Fanboy behavior. Okay!!!!! NEXT!

GOAT MOTIF. In a world where I very quickly discovered ohhhhhhh Moe's whole religious angel/devil theming just does not translate At All in a world without Christianity*. Like, if it was born and raised In The World of Pokemon, NOT isekai'd. There is nothing to blaspheme. Okay 👍 So for Moe, who seems to have a proclivity for Ghost types, what business does it have with some fucking grass goat. A chance encounter! And an excuse to match Moe's outfit to shiny Gogoat's color pallette. In my mind, it fit better.... although, like I said earlier, I definitely hit a wall trying to figure out color pallettes........ 🥲💔

*LIKE YEAH we have Arceus as a creator god Pokemon who's even goat-like in design... but there's like. Not at all the same connotations I don't think... and Moe's whole deal is less about the religion itself, and more about how it was hurt by the flavor of it that it was brought up with. I DON'T WANNA INVENT RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY IN POKEMON WORLD............... this DOES beg the question of how the hell did Moe get here as it is today BUT. IT'S FINE I CAN WORK WITH THIS...... it's a creative exercise. And tbh given some of the evil teams we've had maybe there's something in there I could work with. Pokemon has planey off options for oddly specific doomsday cults... it's Fine.... and shitty family situations exist in Any universe ☺️💖

All that said, I may end up making the hoodie the regular pallette, who knows. I hit a wall. I overthunk it. I died. Badly. I still like the Gogoat idea though.

As for twin dragon aus!

I’ve always seen Emmet as more zekrom esque, and Ingo more reshiram esque. Is it cause the typing matches their starters? Maybe, hehe.

Ultimately though, the guys are too multifaceted for me to easily split them into truth and ideals.

I also see the legendaries as Eldritch Abominations Beyond Understanding, so having the dragons in my iteration become the twins would, uh, have consequences. The funny goofy story would dip into horror territory instead. (Reshiram demands only truths, and anything not Absolute will burn. And zekrom’s ideals are beyond human understanding, and trying to understand the mad tangle of thunder would drive somebody insane.)

((Also N’s a scary mofo for summoning reshiram. I’m digging directly into the whole “twin heroes have a civil war and it destroyed unova” backstory that pokemon set up, and the more I think about it the stronger my dread mounts at the idea of Zekrom OR Reshiram casually flying overhead.

But this is also just how I see the legendaries of the pokemon world! Lugia sinks islands. Groudon covers towns. Arceus loves the mortal world, and mourns because its immortality only brings grief. Giritina hates, because it’s the ghostly remains of every one of Arceus’s mistakes given drive, banished into the distortion realm. Normal stuff!)

You sly dog, you got me monologing! But here’s the tldr: Not sure i’ll ever make my own serious Dragon AU that follows my internal world building for pokemon. I’m too attached to my favorite trope: “the smallest people can still initiate the biggest of changes”, and I’m too attached to my other favorite trope: “legendaries are actually gods and you Should Be Frightened.”

So that’s why, in this essay, if the trio gets turned into pokemon, I’d make them route 1 run of the mill rats. Because rats can do whatever they want.

(Plus, patrats and pachirisu aren’t banned from the subway battles last I checked.)

If i had to make a goofy crack dragon au though, I think this would be the result:

The whole story would just be the trio and historians trying to figure out what the hell the twins got turned into, and concerns of other people becoming pokemon as well. So far, people are convinced they’re a paradox version of an archen. (I mean…)

Hi sorry for asking im just genuinely curious, what are all the changes you'd make to the sun/ moon anime? Stuff like lusamine, guzma, etc. I love seeing you pop up in the guzma tag to rant abt how they butchered my guy, and im curious of all the stuff you'd personally change abt the anime bc it. It has problems. Sorry again for asking i just love disecting my fav media and discussing its flaws and how to better them!!!!

The biggest change would be letting Lusamine be a villain which in turn would let just about every character that got shafted actually get to have their stories.

Not shying away from her abuse which caused both Gladion and Lillie to runaway from home taking pokemon that were tortured by Lusamine with them. (Hell, you could even hint at some of the issues in Alolan society with overlooking/not talking about or helping with abuse)

Getting rid of the pokemon school angle since, the trial captains literally have only approximately an 8 year that they can be trial captains if the age cut-off is twenty and folks are expected to start their island challenge at 11. Those kids don't have the time to be dicking around at school, especially not the older ones like Kiawe and Mallow. Like, being a trial captain is a huge fucking honor in their society and they'd likely prioritize it over other stuff. Also, I don't care for nerfing characters for no good reason.

Storywise, I think using a combination of the story from the Sun/Moon game with some of the stuff from the Manga version of the story that managed to use stuff from Ultra without downplaying Lusamine's shit could make for the best adaption of the story with a few tweaks. -> Instead of the pokemon school plot, why not have Ash try his hand at being a research assistant? It'd be something new to do with him, give him a reason to be around and work with the professors, give him extra reason to explore Alola, and interact with Aether Foundation, and come in conflict with Team Skull. -> I can also see him trying his hand at the Island Challenge b/c of course, he's the protag. Hell, he can even make friends with the trial captains along the way.

-> Let Lillie be the deuteraganist proper! Let her be an actual trainer to Nebby! I hate some much that the games want us to have her pokemon just cause its the fucking box legendary, that's her pokemon and by all rights it would make more sense for her to catch it b/c that would be safer for Nebby in the long run. -> Not putting Hau on a damn bus for 97 episodes! He's the game *rival*, he's a major fucking character. Let this boy be present from jump and be both Lillie and Ash's rival. Explore his feelings about being stuck in Hala's shadow, the MC's shadow, and his sympathies with Team Skull.

-> ( A complaint I have with the games is I don't think Team Skull should be as rude or distant to Gladion as they are. Like, why would they make fun of him for being homeless if they're squatting in a rundown building? If Team Skull are supposed to be a group of homies and found family against the world, why wouldn't they adopt Gladion's prickly ass and tease him for being an edgelord? Also, just while Guzma acknowledges and respects Gladion for also escaping from and abusive household and wanting to get as strong as he can, I want more to be done with that than just paying lip service. Let them bond. ) -> Ah, yes, where was I? Gladion as a member of Team Skull. Not just hired help/an enforcer like in the games but an actual member. Let him bond with them damnit. And also keep him in a rival role to Ash while being a bad guy. Hell, its been a long time since I've watched the older pokemon seasons but it'd be fun to have a bad guy who keeps a long-running win streak over Ash. Let him keep his anime win streak and be a 'bad' guy.

-> Let Guzma have his role as the decoy big bad! Don't nerf him, don't slander him. Have folks mention him and have him show up at several points and have those eps be fucking heavy for one reason or another. He is a problem of a trainer and knows strategy and covers his team's weaknesses. -> While I hate everything the anime did slandering my guy making him the 'Undefeated' b/c he's a chicken that only targets weaklings, I wanna see Guzma being called the 'Undefeated' for serious, like folks thinking he's a chicken b/c of his ace and not taking every challenge sent his way but no he's actually good like that. I wanna see him beat Ash multiple times, yes Ash needs to beat him at some point to kickstart Guzma's character development but I wanna see him struggle to get that victory. -> You have no idea how much I want to see Guzma interrupt anyone who tries to use a Z move in a battle with him out of pure spite instead of just standing around doing fuck all while folks chant and do the poses. It would make so much more sense if he had his golisopod just sucker punch a pokemon in the middle of the z move stuff. It would be a good way to show that he's ruthless and very intent on bucking tradition. -> After I realized that like Guzma got possessed by a nihiligo in the of games and the manga and we were denied a perfectly good opportunity for a monster!Guzma rampage and opportunity to show how much Team Skull cares about each other that a 'I know yer in there come back to us Boss' and a 'help us save our Boss' could have added, I feel a bit miffed. Like I even commissioned fic to have just that and its good and everyone should read it and share with their friends. -> I do like that Team Skull didn't disband at the end of the anime. Them breaking up is one of the things I don't like about the games. Like, the can reform and stay together. (I also commissioned fic for Team Skull reforming while staying together and its good and everyone should read it and share with their friends)

-> Plumeria would have more things to do if Team Skull in general had more things to do and were taken a lil more seriously than they are in the anime. I do like the idea of her scouting and scoping and infiltrating in disguise. Also, I think she should make it farther in the pokemon league conference than she did b/c she's also a good trainer, and smart, and ruthless too. -> I think if she did make it further in the pokemon league conference and had to fight Guzma then that would be a great opportunity to show that the two characters are actually really good friends and know each other well. Certainly, I'd have Guzma win that fight, I'd also have that fight be the only one where he actually shows good sportsmanship towards his opponent. B/c he likes and respects Plumeria.

When it was on Netflix a few years ago I do remember watching some of the Pokemon Sun/Moon eps. And I remember how strange it felt that the ultra beast stuff had like a goofy Power Rangers type bend with folks suiting up as like a task force to deal with the things and just... idk maybe we should play the aggressive and fearful pokemon from another dimension more seriously. Darker at least. Cause like... ultra beasts kill people, they're a lot more dangerous than pokemon, they can do a good number on the environment more so than the invasives that are native to the dimension that the series takes place in.

This Kieran is in AU as to what happens if Florian doesn't lie to him about Ogerpon and whatnot! Kieran still doesn't get Ogerpon and is fine with it ( kind of, as in this made him feel inferior to having friends and will always be chosen over by other people. ) His way of thinking is that maybe he should try to be nice and kind to others so that will help him get friends as he sees Florian do this the same to others. ( The only thing Kieran thinks he's not good at is having a funny personality. He is very awkward in person. ) Blueberry Academy was hard on him as he was almost practically as ignored and students tend to forget he is the champion because of his cowardly personality. Florian took over later as champion. Okay there.

I’ve had to relearn Spanish so my Spanish is like kindergarten Spanish. I want to relearn it for my kids so I’m doing my best to build it back up, however I haven’t really worked on much reading or writing

Welcome to my blog! I'm an employee at the Kanto Safari Zone and I'll probably use this blog to talk about that often. There's a lot of things here that the visitors don't tend to be aware of, and I like to talk to talk about them. This is not technically an official blog, given that there isn't one, but Baoba, the owner, is okay with me doing this. Speaking of whom, I've heard that in some other worlds he closed the place some time after team rocket left the region, but that didn't happen here. While he did open a second safari zone in Johto, he would never close this one. He respects and cherishes the pokemon here, so he would never allow something to be built in the place they call home (with the exception of maintenance and rest buildings, which are necessary).

I guess I'll add some information about me. I'm Cyan, he/they, and I have two pokemon. My first pokemon was Venom the venomoth, I caught him when he was a venonat and he's been my best friend ever since. My second pokemon is Bull the tauros, who had to be taken out of the safari zone because he was sick. I helped take care of him and then he didn't want to go away, so I caught him.

Set in an apocalyptic future where most humans have disappeared and only pokemon remain. And the world is not as it had once been.

Benta, a pokemon who has existed for a long time now, has wandered the crumbling cities and empty roads looking for others who might share his ideals of rebuilding what is left of the world. Perhaps even track down the humans, if there are any left. However, the pokemon all seem to be at odds, more focused on hoarding land and food for survival. Many more are feral and vicious.

As others may find out, he is no ordinary mewtwo, and he might very well be the only one of his kind in a world full of ghosts. But is he the only wanderer? Or are there others?

And is it possible to save this future?

- For the main story! The style for this is different and more uniform than what I'll be using for asks, so it definitely takes longer. I don't typically post until I'm done with a illustration/page set, so it can take a long heckin time. If one part one is 8 pages, I'd say it would clock in at two or three months before it's posted (as long as I'm not sick or somethn). I'm okay with posting peridoic snippet updates from my favorite panels though!

Temp. Edit: I've lowered the number of pages in each part to 4 since I need an easier goal to reach at a time. There's still 24 total! I just need simpler intervals. :T 🖼

Heyo. Not sure if I should ask this here or if there's a better blog to ask but, do you have any tips for beginner Rotomblr blogs? I have two I'm just starting out and I have no experience with this kind of thing. Thank you.

Yeah you can absolutely ask us! We've answered questions similar to this before and offer a link to flowerliker's starting guide along with a starting resources tag to keep track of it all! We'd recommend starting with the guide and then our tag, then asking specific questions from there, but we can give some general tips for now rather than sending you off with a bunch of reading. That said, we are putting this below a read more for the sake of being easy to scroll past!

Getting started is often times the hardest part because its when you are building momentum. It can often be a discouraging time, but its useful to learn what you want to do with your blog and find people you may want to collaborate with more often. Reblog ask games and importantly interact with others! No man is an island in this community, if you want interactions chances are other people do too and will appreciate it. Mind their rules and their canon though, and be mindful of yours too.

If you're comfortable joining Discords that's a great option to meet people and talk with them both ic and ooc, though it should be said this isn't a necessary step and you should not feel pressured to join any groups.

You are allowed to be selective if you choose to be. This applies as much to others as it does yourself. Being selective about who you interact with on blog isn't necessarily a personal judgement, there might be people you enjoy talking to ooc a lot that have canon aspects that conflict with yours. You don't have to stop talking to them and neither of you have to change your worldbuilding if you do not want to.

Rewrites big and small will happen and they aren't the end of the world, adjust as you need and communicate with your rp partners if its things that effect them. Characters and your writing will evolve naturally over time and that's a beautiful thing!

Know community tags and generally how to use them. If you're someone who benefits from a tagging system, try to start it early on so you don't have to retag a bunch of posts later. The use of the unreality tag is also a good one to familiarize yourself with, especially if you dabble in the multiverses aspect of Pokemon's canon. You're welcome to ask for details regarding this and we can answer any questions you may have.

In regards as to what we can do to help as well is we of course are known for postings of events the community can participate in but we actually do all kinds of other stuff! We can post calls for general roles for upcoming arcs or events (i.e. bystanders, food concessions, rocket grunts, etc.) or specific calls for canon characters (i.e. Professor Kukui, Rocket Admin Petrel, etc.). We have a tag for Discord groups that people are able to promote, though mind their rules and the fact that these Discords in most cases are not ours and we do not have control over if the links are dead or the group is deleted. We boost community made and outside ask games, particularly if they are submitted to us. All kinds of stuff! We are a community resource that strives to add whatever functions we can to help others!

It was hard to read the man at the best of times. Cyrus was someone who claimed to emotionless, so it was definitely done with intention. He stood stiffly as you wandered around the foreign region in search of places of interest. After what happened with him in Sinnoh and his plans to nearly summon a world-ending scenario thankfully coming to a sudden halt, you decided it would be best for you both to get out of the region for a while.

You wondered if Kanto was a good choice, but you recalled his ancestry traced back here. Maybe there would be something oddly nostalgic to it all. Saffron was loud a busy, but a sight to compare to Jubilife. You gazed around in awe at the towering buildings and the sheer number of people swarming around the city. It felt so far away from what you were used to. Cyrus stood with a neutral, and mildly annoyed you would dare say, expression. Grasping his hand tighter, you tilted your head at him.

“Who was your ancestor that left this place for Sinnoh?” you asked him, “I wonder what compelled them to leave a place as fruitful as this for somewhere as desolate as Sinnoh was back then.” Cyrus shook his head.

“She was an important member of an expedition team if I recall correctly,” he told you, “As for why in general, I find myself pondering that, too.” You knew his family life was a sensitive topic, but you wondered about the people who raised Cyrus endlessly. Was he always like this? It seemed unlikely. Then again, you could not see the stoic man running around as a giggly, happy child either.

“Ah,” you replied, “Well, since we're here, why don't we explore a bit? This place is way bigger than Jubilife.” Cyrus gave a light nod. You both walked around the city before settling into a small noodle shop as a destination. No other places called to you, it seemed. Your orders came out, and you found yourself laughing at his choice. Cold soba was a dish that would call to him.

As you both enjoyed your meal, you listened as his phone rang a few times. He ignored it, instead choosing to focus on his meal. It was likely the admins of Team Galactic. They had become worried by his sudden shift away from obtaining the legendary pokemon and towards properly running an electricity company. It was hard to look them in the eyes. You had been a large part of why he put an end to those goals.

“Have you heard of those new Rotom phones?” you asked him, aware of his small affinity towards the electrical ghost, “I guess people are always coming up with new ways to use pokemon, huh?”

“You sound like that group from Unova with your choice of the word “use,””, Cyrus chided you lightly, “Saturn is contacting me. That is all.” You rolled your eyes and grabbed his free hand across the table. His skin was quite pale, you noted. His veins were as blue as his hair.

“Do you think I should join them? Do they require bowl cuts, too, do you think?” you joked, “I was wondering if you would like one? You could use a new phone… I think yours is still from 2008.” He shot you a look with such annoyance present in it that it almost made you laugh. He put his flip phone away.

“I believe they dress like medieval Galarian knights,” was his response, “I believe I patented the team with bowl cuts and space suits.” You gave a laugh at his joke. It was impossible to believe he made one, but you supposed you had been messing around about his uniform for his employees since you first saw them.

Your meal was finished before you realised it, and you made your way to your hotel. It was a quiet one away with a higher price tag than you would have preferred, but Cyrus had insisted on having less people around. His preference to be somewhere more isolated made sense with how he was. Crashing against the bed, you watched as Cyrus put his luggage away. He had taken business trips before, you recalled. Who was he meeting up with at that time?

Removing yourself from the soft mattress, you approached the man, who was somehow only in his late twenties. Just as his eyes moved to glance at you, you brought him in for a tight embrace. Burying your face into his nape, you sighed. He stood stiffly for a moment before awkwardly bringing a single arm around you to pat your back. He always felt a bit chilled, yet there was an odd warmth to him. Something that made you wonder if he wished for emotions more than he hated them.

“I love you,” you told him softly, gazing up into his light coloured eyes, “I hope we can find something we both enjoy tomorrow… I planned on us visiting Johto for a short while before heading back here.” He remained silent for a moment.

“They won't let you into Bell Tower,” he simply replied, and you pouted at him.

The gentle look in his eyes made your heart swell despite his teasing. You gave a warm smile towards him and pecked a kiss to his lips.

Cyrus knew that his frozen exterior could only be melted by you.

Some ramblings about my 10 years in the future/Cressilda au (Passionflameshipping/kurocal au)

This is stuff that happened within the span of 10 years, it's a long post so I'll put it under read more!:

Kuro is the champion (obviously)

Cal still does humanitarian work much like in the champion Shelly future, but not as often as he has other stuff in the region to do too. He is co-sensei for Apophyll Academy and has once again become the fire type gym leader, his gym resides on top of Pyrous Mountain. If he ever has to leave the region of humanitarian work he has Bennett or Charlotte take over.

Cal and Kuro got engaged and married 5 years after the events of postgame

Cressilda (their child) was conceived/born 9 years into their relationship (might change some details about this).

Blake has adopted a child named Mika while in Johto for business, no one knows if he legally adopted him or if he kidnapped him. No one asks any questions. He is the director of the Lapis Ward's orphanage and has regained his position as the ice type leader. He uses the Orphanage as his gym, but has had a special field installed that can change into whatever field is selected, he also uses this for the kids there so they can learn battling. If he ever has to leave the region for any overseas adoption business Lumi or Charlotte takes over the gym for him. Saphira or Heather take over his position as director in his absence.

Kuro's E4 now consists of Heather, Noel (Anna takes over in his absence whenever he goes overseas for art related business), Eve + Zero and Charlotte. (Info on their teams and fields will be brought up later in the post.)

Elias owns a bar now and hangs out with Luna a lot more, Bennett and Laura have retired and live the same life as in the Champion Shelly future.

Anna is now the Psychic gym leader and Taka (Zekrom route) has become the normal type which was supposed to be temporary but he seemed to enjoy it and performed really well.

Ace is the reserve Psychic leader and Lumi is the reserve ice leader.

Taka, Elias, Luna and Ace preserve a lot of Reborn's history.

Kuro and Cal have a house (or mansion I guess) build in route 1 which has a dome as well as a portal to the new world where all of their pokemon can walk around freely.

Lin lived with Terra's parents again for a little while, but eventually moved into Onyx's school dorms as she became a student there. After graduating she moved to Agate City so she'd be close to Terra.

Both Noel and Anna live with Radomus, Luna has an apartment of her own but often sleeps over at Radomus's, Serra's and Elias's places.

Taka and Ace live together in Obsidia ward, Lumi travels the world often but lives with Eve in Ametrine. Zero moved in with them.

Charlotte has turned her old gym into a place to live (while still holding the battle field there) and has an apartment in Spinel Town so she lives close with Laura still. Saphira lives in Labradorra and Laura lives in the Belrose mansion with Bennett (They're married.)

Most other things are the same as the Champion Shelly future.

At first she took the position as ice leader when Serra retired after wanting to focus on modeling again. However not long after Bennett wanted to retire too, and Kuro asked her to join. She said she didn't mind, but had no idea how to mix her now two typings together.

At some points Cal explained to her that when Blake had him come along to inspect something weird that happened in Ametrine's core a while after the events from the Heatran class that the field helped out both Fire and Ice types without the two of them clashing.

She had the two of them go with her to try it out and they helped her when she decided she wanted this for her field. She then also insisted that they become the new Fire and Ice leader, they were given little room to protest.

Anna uses the same field as her dad, although her team and strategy is slightly different.

Taka I'm still unsure of how his team works. He uses his Chatot and Komoala though. I might go for Holy Field and since the Sanctum is still around in Zekrom route I might place his gym there?

Anna's trainer class is still the same, Taka's and Ace's I'm unsure of still, Cal is still Reborn and Blake will become Orphanage Director probably. He switches his field from Snowy Mountain Field to Icy Field to keep trainers on their toes.

4. Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin 

A puppy wanting to avenge his father’s death gets buff and gathers an army of ninja dogs to kill a building sized manhunter bear (all this watched in an abysmal quality dub that has like 3-4 people voicing dozens of characters with lines that sometimes sounded like they were run thru google translate 15 times).

I think me watching this as a kid under 10 counts as my Joker origin story. And this one absolutely fuckin slays!!!!! I just started rewatching this the other day and hooolyyyy fuuuuckkk is it still good. This was also my first anime if moomins and pokemon don’t count! Things have gone only downhill from there.

5. My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

No I think this is my real Joker origin story. And I’m proud of it. I started posting my art online due to mlp fan art being so common back in 2010!

6. Super Dimension Fortress Macross

An alien spaceship crashlands into Earth in 1999 with no survivors on the ship, jumpstarting a new space race for humanity, only for another alien fleet to come check on the ship a decade later and finding humanity going apeshit thinking they’re here to attack. After a series of misunderstandings and an entire human city being teleported to Pluto with the crashlanded ship, they begin a race back to Earth. Realizing that Earth tech is still way inferior to the spacefaring race, they figure out that the only way to win a war is via the love of culture.

For a long time I only watched movies and short stuff with 2-4 episodes max, but I think this series brought me back to longer series. I’ve always been fascinated by stories about a future that’s already come to pass. And I mean this one’s sequel predicted Hatsune Miku and Vtubers so that’s cool I guess?

7. Maniac (the netflix show from 2018)

Psychological drama about two people participating in a pharmaceutical trial for a drug treating mental health problems by altering the participants’ dreams.

The first time I watched and loved a live action show! I watched... uhhh... 2 other live action shows after this and didn’t even finish the other one but maybe someday :3 This one was visually stunning so I guess that’s why I managed to finish it?

8. Simoun

Nonbinary lesbians in clothing so skimpy they should have absolutely no business so high up in the atmosphere having religious and relationship problems trying to solve which one of them has to transition into men so they could be together even as adults because adult lesbians simply do not exist because this came out in 2006. Me and commas are not friends.

You know it’s a small fandom when I can look up the series in the gif search and several of them are my own gifs <3 And you’d be right because there are like 6 people and a napkin in this fandom.

This is my current fave series and it has taught me the humbleness you need in a tiny ass fandom. Fr you can still find my years old art in the most recent posts on tumblr, and I think I deserve to cry :)

But I mean having every single character being trans unless they die before they become adults doesn’t exactly scream marketability so it’s understandable.

This has been kicking around in my drafts for awhile. I didn't really know what to make of it then, and I don't now, but I want to start cleaning some stuff up, so here it is:

Remember a snippet of a weird dream, which is already odd, because I usually forget my dreams immediately upon waking up.

The setup doesn't matter too much, but I know my brother (younger than he is now, for some reason) was being an asshole to a Gligar he caught in one of his games, and I decided I was stealing it. Proceeded to steal it and then... I guess trade it to myself, but it was framed as being an outdated Pokemon Transfer thing, albeit in its own building, kind of like the old GTS buildings. I traded it to myself and was poking around for some reason, going in doors that were there, until muttering out loud that I should stop and "go home".

At that point, a scene triggered as I tried to go through a different door that, for some reason, caused 3 characters to run out of the door-- clearly in conflict with each other-- and then hurry back through the door, which couldn't be opened after the fact. Each of these characters had Ingo's sprite, but in dream, I could tell that at least 2 were more worn than his actual BW sprite. I can't remember a lick of what was said, and I actually remember that in the 'moment' in my dream, I wasn't able to understand/remember what was being said, only that there was some kind of conflict ongoing. That was weird, because there were definitely text boxes involved, since I distinctly remember seeing a character tag to denote that someone was talking: the mispelled "Ingou".

For some reason, the dream switched to a more first person perspective in that universe, in the supposed PokeTransfer building. There was someone else with me then, trying to recreate what happened, and I kept opening doors and muttering that I had to go home, then. There were phones next to each of the doors, which I don't think was relevant, but I noticed at the time. Eventually, I got something to happen again, but it was just someone talking, and I knew it was the same character. It was some kind of warning/recounting of something that happened before, implied to be an attack from Pokemon against humans, at least some of them children, which was fatal. This wasn't directed at me, by the way-- it was like it was being said to someone else nearby. The person specifically highlighted Alakazam, Magnemite and Magneton, but in plural, implying that multiple members of each species had something to do with it. The only other thing I could make out for sure (because this was a lot clearer, but still hard to understand) was something about a Holiday Island, and then somehow my brain emphasizing that the spelling on "Ingou" was wrong for a second time, even though there was no text box that time.

The person I was with saw that, and after we were done there, we went to look for any clue on what was clearly Bulbapedia, but was never identified as such. I don't know what article we landed on, but we found a reference to "Ingou" leading to an article on Holiday Island. I should note that, as I mentioned, the game Gligar was in, and the version of Poke Transfer were both outdated. They should have been even older based on this being a physical location and the sprite art, but my dream told me they were about Ultra Moon era, and the unknown article cited that this event had been accessible since about 2018/2019. In the "real world" after all of that, I was holding a case that was like... it had the vibes of Ultra Moon but was more blue, if that makes any sense? I was sitting with a bunch of people, implying that I had been playing my game while hanging out there, and found a leaflet in the game case-- as used to be standard-- for a downloadable legendary Pokemon. My brother started walking in right after that, and I stopped reading so I could hide the game/the fact that I committed Bat Theft.

I don't have anything to add from there on; my dream changed right after that, and I can't remember what it turned into.
