🏠 Replacing your vacuum cleaner bags frequently is necessary for efficient cleaning and suction! Plus it prevents clogging and improves hygiene and air quality. Vacuum cleaner bags collect all kinds of dust, allergens and particles. If you don't replace them regularly these trapped particles circulate back into the air reducing your indoor air quality.
🏠 These shop vac bags from NANOVAC are universally designed and compatible to fit most 10-14 gallon leading brands. They're tear-proof and made of heavy-duty construction with extra-thick material for long-lasting use and efficient cleanup. The filters ensure a flawless fit and exceptional filtration that traps more particles! My favorite features are the 2 layer filtration, well sealed edge and upgraded leak proof sealing entrance hole.
🏠 If you have a shop vac I highly recommend these bags for cleaner, healthier air. You can find them on Amazon at https://amzn.to/3PRLydn

The plumbers and workmen are here taking out the sink and part of my cabinets. Hopefully this will finally, FINALLY fix with my kitchen flooding issues. Cross your fingers for me!
#the amount of effort it took to get my building super to take this seriously#‘put the stopper in the sink’ like ???#they left the shopvac and industrial cleaning towels with me last week#because they were unwilling to do weekend work#and it flooded a couple other times. but on Saturday it flooded so badly that I filled up the shopvac 3x#anyway. we live in hope that I will never have to see these workmen again

Ngl i bought a vacuum for sweeping the (carpeted) stairs in my house and I get to go pick it up today and I'm kinda excited about it. This is not something I ever in my life thought I'd be excited about but here I am at 30 years old
#the stiars in my house are such a problem. i have struggled for years and tried many different systems/ideas/products to try keep up with#keeping them clean but I'm coming to realize it is nearly impossible. for a few reasons. one big reason is because they are both super high#traffic (main part of the house) AND theyre right in front of the front door so every time the door opens the air shifts and a bunch of#stuff from outside inevitably gets blown on. :( plus i have cats (shedding) and me with long hair (also shedding) and a lot of the time#people who come into my house from the outside ''''forget'''' to take their shoes off before going up/downstairs.#plus every method ive tried up until now sucks for various reasons (i could go into detail but it's probably uninteresting) so i am trying#ONE last final method (new small portable shopvac with Big Stick Brush attachment) and if this too sucks...... well my husband and i might#have a serious discussion about whether or not it makes sense to take the carpet off the steps lol

Sometimes noise complaints about certain products are like.... ???
"This vacuum is loud" yeah that's what vacuums are like
"This 3D printer is too loud in my room" buddy, you shouldn't be keeping your 3D printer in your bedroom to breathe melty plastic fumes for multiple hours
#I am in the middle of shopping for a new FDM printer and shopvac#FDM requires less PPE than resin printing but it's still like buddy it's still melting plastic

Cap don’t do it you will spend weeks regretting as you try to dry out your basement
Listen . . . I'm trying to get a shitty paint job off the floor and at this point my only other option is renting a concrete grinder, which will cost four times as much and will coat everything down there in a fine layer of lung-poisoning dust. I'm desperate here and my basement floods on a regular basis anyway, could it really be that much worse?
#what if i just do very small areas at a time. couple gallons of water; no problem to suck up with the shopvac#also the basement is unfinished. no drywall or anything to retain water

kitchen: flooded
building management: silent
me: very Tired
#there was a pipe issue when I moved in but that got fixed#(January 1 2022)#and then I had 0 issues#until september last year when the kitchen flooded like this. twice.#and now tonight#I was watching Tv (around 9:15) and thought ''hmm wow the cat water fountain is louder than usual''#and went in and. flood. water everywhere. it's definitely from the sink#I've thrown away a bunch of stuff#and moved cat things to the living room#unfortunately the room where I keep their litter boxes is on the other side of the kitchen#so I had to grab the spare and set it up in the hall#if I haven't heard from the manager by 8am I'll go to the cornerstore and buy some stuff but. sigh. I want them to come with the shopvac#a shower *should* be safe but I'll probably keep it brief

So I work maintenance/janitorial shift at a big box hardware store and I wanna share the FUNNIEST and only customer complaint our department has received. So we have a robotic floor scrubber/zamboni that drives around on its own that we have to babysit and for funsies we have a little stuffed animal we put in the seat while it's doing its thing. Anyways he was originally a Christmas themed toy, so we dress him up for the season.
Anyways, a gues complained that his Halloween costume was too creepy and corporate actually felt the need to send us an email about it. Here's Buddy dressed for Halloween:

We will change nothing.
#just kinda laughed this one off#yeah its creepy thats the point#i realize this pic of him in the corner on the shopvac is doing him no favors
