Yes, we do! And everything is going great! It's still full of boxes though. *laughs* We'll probably get everything cleaned up by the time you come back. Where are you guys now? How's the tour going?

I'm fineeeee! Work's busy. Serena and I actually bought an apartment together! 

Haven't sweated that much since the hospital made me do a drugs test.

Nate laughed and wrapped one arm around Serena as he sipped his champagne. He smiled brightly as he saw her mouth dropping with what he told her. "Full of surprises, aren't I?" he said with a wink. "The only thing you have to do is sign the papers, miss Van der Woodsen! And than the whole place is ours!" he smiled at her. Just when he thought he'd be alone for another while, Serena came by and just turned his world upside down, and he didn't regret it for a minute. 

"I can't believe it either, but it IS happening now!" he said laughing softly. "I'm such a lucky man to have you in my life" he said with a smirk on his face before tightening his arm around her and pressing his lips to the side of her head. "It's going to be amazing." he whispered.

She smiled at him as she made her way over to the fireplace with him. She sat as she’d been instructed too and made herself comfortable on the make shift bed on the floor. Serena moved so that her legs rested across Nate’s laps, unable to sit near him without touching him in someway shape or form. Her jaw fell open slightly as he began talking about the apartment and how he’d been to see it this afternoon. She couldn’t believe this was happening! She took the key in her hand and looked down at it, smiling as she played with the key that would allow them to enter their new home. 

“Nate, I can’t believe you did all this” she said softly as she took the glass and set it beside her. She moved one hand to the side of his face, “This is perfect. This is exactly what I want!”. Serena leaned in and pressed her lips against his before letting out a soft sigh, “I can’t believe we’re going to have a place together!”

He smiled and nodded "Good, I didn't want to interrupt you. Assistant interviews are important!" he said with a chuckle as he pulled back from her kiss. He smiled brightly and looked down at her while biting his lip softly as she looked around the place. He ran a hand trough her long hair and smiled. "I told you I had a surprise!" he chuckled before kissing her forehead and pulling back. He took her hand and walked to the fire place. "Sit!" he said laughing. 

While filling two glasses of champagne he started telling. "I spoke to the owner of the apartment we want to buy. He made us a price, we can move in this weekend if we want to. It's really beautiful, I went looking at it again this afternoon and I only need your approval and signature and the place is ours." he said as he showed her the key of the apartment the owner had given him. He laid it in her hands and leaned down to kiss her before giving her her glass. "So what do you say? Is this what you really want?" he asked.

Serena had being doing interviews for potential assistants all day and was feeling a little tired from it all. She was happy when Nate had text her and asked her to meet him at home. It gave her an excuse to leave work and allowed her to spend some extra time with him. She took a car home from her new office space and climbed the stairs up to Nate’s suit at the palace. She couldn’t help but break into a smile when she saw him, even in sweats he looked amazing. “Hey you! No, I actually had just finished the last interview when you text me” she said before kissing him again.

Her attention was pulled from him when she noticed the way he’d set up the living room. “Nate..Wow” she said as she turned back to look at him. A huge smile on her face. “Whats going on?” she asked curiously as she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and pulled herself in close to him.

Champagne and surprises || Serenate

Nate put his phone down after he text Serena. He was so excited about tonight. Nate called the owner of the apartment Nate & Serena wanted to buy, they made an agreement about the price and he only needed Serena's approval since they wanted to buy this place together. He set some fire to the fireplace and made a bed with pillows and covers in front of it. At the coffee table he placed some candles and took a bottle of champagne next to them. He laid down the key of the apartment behind the bottle and dimmed the lights. Nate was wearing his baggy, grey sweatpants with a with V-neck T-shirt and his hair.. As usual.. He quickly brushed his teeth and as he was about to walk out of the bathroom he heard Serena coming in with her key. 

As he turned around the corner he couldn't help but smile at her. Being with Serena was making his life full and last weeks he forgot about all the stress and pressure from the elections. She was his and that's all he needed to be happy. He walked up to her and kissed her lips as he reached her. "Hey gorgeous" he said as he pulled back. "I'm not keeping you from work, am I?"
