might sound weird to say as a person with a couple ocs who have Big Horrible Event(s) in their backstories or as a person who has like 3 ocs total bc he sucks at writing and as a person who hopes their ocs arent too Boring with [the thing im about to mention] but the thing about writing [characters] and [people] is that like.
any little thing a person experiences can take up their whole existence... its actually something "fun" to experience as i meet new ppl and do more things. My friend had something happen that she'll be talking about forever. I had several things happen last year that ill never stop talking about, some of which other ppl think werent that bad actually. In the same way I'll forever remember about the way my sister accidentally insulted me almost 10 years ago, it's really interesting and Fun to find and assign smaller things like that to characters...its really Real. some people's dealbreakers are other people's solvable problems etc etc

Yk realistically if the om bros were fucked up like demons should be, they wouldn't be that disturbed by bloodlust el's personality.
However, I think the terror and angst comes from the fact that they lived with him his whole life, and for the most part, he was very passive and calm and never immediately resorted to violence, so to see [what used to be] their human revel in bloodshed is.. unsettling.

Yknow I never got why so many articles I see on like, eccentric or insanely weird, outlandish, impractical, and/or ornate armour always gotta compare it to Dark Souls
Like yeah, Dark Souls has like, the Catarina Armor and Havel's set, I guess the Armor of Thorns though it's wackiness it toned down somewhat, but I dunno, tbh I always found Dark Souls's Armor designs seemed like, remarkably sensible compared to most other fantasy media I've consumed
#I don't remember what this was about#I just remember liking soulsborne games distinctly because their armor designs were good#modest and practical#barring a couple exceptions of course#like Havel's set was special to me distinctly BECAUSE it looked like crazy Mobile Game Fantasy armor#and that was the exception to the rule#like Souls armor buy and large would have like#nice etchings or filligree on most fancy armors#as opposed to most fantasy media I'd see which was like#Stark white plate lined with intricate golden patterns shaped like angel wings extending a full foot off the shoulders#the breastplate is a weird little pyramid that covers the chest area#their faulds having an entire human man sculpted from gold built onto them#and every other armor piece being covered in golden spikes and shit#while also looking like every plate on it is like three inches thick of solid metal#their helmet has like three visors all overlapping each other for no reason#and wings and horns bolted to the sides#yknow that sorta shit#Pun's text Posts

ok so today i had my first thai class after a really long christmas break and somehow andreas gabalier (an austrian folk singer) and his music came up. and i don't remember what exactly my teacher said but he made a comment along the lines of "andreas gabalier is considered a standard good looking dude here in austria, right?" (my teacher is from thailand, so he wasn't sure about austrian people's preferences)
and his question was met with complete silence, because the thing is... our class consists of 3 middle aged guys plus one more guy in his mid 30s. and then there's me. the only girl
and since no one answered the question about andreas gabalier's looks, our teacher then addressed me directly and following conversation ensued:
teacher: "[airenyah]?" me: (feeling slightly shy and embarrassed) ".....i don't know what andreas gabalier looks like 🙈" everyone: (breaks out in laughter) middle-aged classmate: (highly amused) "i suspect he's not your type..." (me: "oh 🙈") "you're not missing out on anything :D"
