I made some joke a while back about like marriage and how if Carmy had Sydney sign a partnership agreement that'd basically be marriage because he's legally binding them. And that was a joke about like if that happened offscreen.

I've said this and that about Mel meeting Swain, uprooting the Black Rose, and just dealing with family politics, but I may be most excited with how she deals with Vladimir. To me, Mel and Vladimir have really similar stories, where they're sent away by their parent for political gain, achieve incredible magical strength under extreme duress, and ultimately kill their parental figure. The difference between the two is that under the weight of everything, Vladimir became the thing most people inaccurately accuse Mel of being.

Vladimir is a charismatic aristocratic manipulator who is completely and utterly looking out for his own self-interest. Despite being an incredibly consequential person to the very existence of Noxus, a co-founder of the Black Rose, and having helped seal Mordekaiser away, he was actually pretty checked out by the time the Swain's coup against Darkwill happened. Now he's just using the situation to bulk up his own cult, the Crimson Circle, and maybe carve out his own kingdom from Noxus at some point too.

Vladimir is just such a clear antithesis of who Mel could be if she didn't care, if she lost her compassion and gave into the cynical nature of power. And I think Mel's new title as a champion, "The Soul's Reflection" is so interesting when you include Vladimir in the dynamic. Vlad's a blood mage with vampire-coding, and vampires don't have reflections, and Mel doesn't need to "reflect" Vladimir because they're already so similar.

Also I think it's neat that Mel and Vladimir are the only Noxians with base designs that make them look like they're going to a ball. Is it the same ball? ?...Maybe?

(Extra also! Mel has sun related powers while Vladimir is as close to a vampire as you can get).

actually the more I listen and compare the more I think that a better way to describe the difference between the british masc rook voice and the american one overall is that the british sounds like a very real person who is being genuinely fierce and determined despite the fact that they are scared and understand the gravity of the situation. and the american one sounds like they might really be deeply fucking nuts enough that when the chips are down they are not even really afraid they're busy being a creature of pure 'go go go!!' fjdsklfjsa. when they really hit their stride they become less a person, more some divine instrument being used for the wildest improvised guitar solo you could ever imagine (and desperately trying to keep up with themselves as the rock ballad of inspiration sure is Happening To Them So Much). Calling it now, I’m making the prediction that Donovan Desmond also has Anya’s mind reading ability. The way Anya was a test subject is still a unresolved plotline unbeknownst to the cast beside Anya. The way that he is extremely paranoid and recently stopped making public/social appearances. The way he has symmetrical scars on both sides of his head. 

The way he is able to work with and around Loid’s introduction. The way that Anya fell asleep right before this entire scene so she couldn’t be there to read his mind confirming that he’s reading Loids mind. 

Loid projects his inner thoughts and actions constantly, Anya takes advantage of this. A spy isn’t much of a threat to a mindreader and Donovan was just standing there as Loid secretly revealed himself.

The only thing is if Donovan does have anya’s ability. Why is Loid able to get out of this encounter scot free and nothing happens after? Is Loid going to be used to accidently uncover all those that work for WISE?

If there's one thing I've respectively noticed from Zionists and defenders of Israeli war crimes, it's that every source, argument and potential avenue to explore each explanation is riddled with cherry picking, moving the goalposts and mental gymnastics to explain why their conclusions, which typically are barely even related to the sources they use, somehow overshadow literal reality and what we see with our own eyes.

While scrolling, one example I came across was the repetitive misrepresentation of BLM, antifa and quotes from Martin Luther King Jr, as well as statistics, scholarly journal articles and government website information. These are all good sources, yet every single time they're mangled completely until the only possible "interpretation" of any of them is "well Israel is right to defend itself after shorting rockets beforehand because the retaliation was brutal and all Arabs are bad by default therefore". As if any of these sources are even about individual exceptions of Israel versus hatred towards Arabs.

I think what I find most absurd, as someone in the middle of their own studies, is how every bit of critical thinking and logic goes out the window as they do every single thing possible to do what professors worldwide say NOT to do when evaluating sources. It's like watching a race to see who can tangle and misconstrue scientific information to fit their world view the fastest. Then said people say "um actually I studied at university before so it's actually not wrong that I'm doing this exact this everyone is warned not to do because I have a permit". Ignorance I can forgive, but willful and arrogant manipulation? That's another thing entirely.

my main confusion with whether or not they'd hard launch / explicitly show more of their relationship is like... if they do a tour i can somehow imagine that being less of a part of it, but also their tour would probably be their last ever (and 3 is a good number). and i can see them wanting to hard launch after, not before, a world tour. that being said i think a documentary would more easily involve that because they'd undeniably talk about the behind the scenes / coming out experience of them as youtubers and if it's like a piece of their career and legacy together that hits mainstream i can imagine kinda autobiographically that's something they'd mention. so documentary feels like way more likely odds of being more explicit than a tour, but i can't tell if they're doing a documentary and then a tour in which case i don't think the doc will have anything like this at all. does that make sense?

gang gets stranded in the woods is a hysterical episode for a lot of reasons but the whole premise of the episode being mac crashed the car because there was a squirrel in the road really makes it. i can think of 20 reasonable options for car trouble that could open the episode or even avoiding a deer in the road (which can happen in rural jersey) but. mac grabbed the wheel to avoid a squirrel.
