D-Denji...I raised him since he was a zoura...him and my lucario Lue who was a riolu at the time...

Shinji closed his eyes tight, remembering the good times.

The trainer pulls out a purple and white pokeball.

A while ago...I lost one of my first friends, I kept him around in this pokeball since that day. Even though everyone tells me otherwise I can't help but feel it's my fault.

Shinji starts to tear up.

W-What do I do....I want to stop blaming myself but I can't...

[The golden light of the trio makes themselves known to Shinji, reaching a small hand out towards the pokeball.]

[The pokeball is then adorned with amaranths, rainflowers, and rosemarys, the trio speaking as one.]

Grief and blame are a part of the healing process, however difficult they may be. The care that you feel towards this partner is unfading, and their memory will continue on so long as you continue to be vocal in regards to their significance to you. This is a new beginning, but that does not mean you cannot take the time to remember them, however many times you need to.

I dont know if you saw but Isane got her shikai’s abilities confirmed!! Its a ice/healing zanpakuto, so shes joined the “snow/ice but technically not snow/ice zanpakuto” club with Rukia

I was not aware of this, and when I first got this ask, I assumed you were referring to yesterday's new episode. I spent a few minutes being very confused.

I eventually figured it was a Klub Outside thing, and it took me forever to track it down, but I finally did:

I mean, I guess it's nice to have it confirmed, but there's not really any new information there. I mean, its name translates to something like "freeze cloud" and she's in Squad 4. It would have been way more interesting if it wasn't (or if he'd bothered to be even the least bit of detail.) I suppose one could be optimistic and hope that he's saving the reveal for the Hell Arc (along with Iba's, whom we don't even have a name for) but I think it's more likely that he just hasn't put that much thought into it. I unironically love the way Kubo will sometimes plot out every member of Ichigo's homeroom class by hairdo, and then people will ask him this kind of stuff about actual captains and he just does big shrug arms.

Also, I've said this before, but personally, I find it a little sloppy of Kubo to end the series with three out of thirteen captains being ice users, even if he did take some care to differentiate them. Then again, there are also three captains with Dramatic Stage Magic-type zanpakutou, so maybe this sort of clumping is just a thing that happens from time to time.

Not me making an au where Ken ACTUALLY died (allegedly) in the original 10/4 but was saved by the kirijo group (to be used as a weapon. allegedly), but then it doesnt turn on so its deemed a defect and is dumoed out in the trash only for him to ACTUALLY wake up, be so overwhelemed by hisnsituation he forcibly locks his memories untila situation that forces those memories back out.

The insignia of the Raven's Blades, a faction in my lancer campaign setting dedicated to pursuing justice in an increasingly unjust world... no matter the cost.

This is the full insignia, and what the Raven's mech, Tyrfing, bears, though most of the Blades use a simpler abstraction of it that can be legible at a small size, a sign of their allegiance for their comrades while nevertheless being easily missable by their enemies.

sooo, not sure how many people know evangelion here, but i'm pretty sure albedo is at least partly inspired by kaworu nagisa.

they both share the same birth date - september 13th. hoyoverse are passionate, passionate evangelion fans, so i doubt it's a coincidence. they've also based much of scaramouche on shinji ikari. both albedo and kaworu are artificial beings of sorts, and shinji and scaramouche have a similar theme of being betrayed and used by the people around them. they also just kinda have a similar temperament? philosophical, observant, a bit flirtatious if you see it like that, searching for their purpose for being born.

but going into more tinfoil hat territory, in one of my earlier posts i described how the albedo stage of alchemy could correspond to the second orthant - soul. and wouldn't you know, kaworu nagisa was created by an organization called seele. seele being german for 'soul'.
