Heyy, what up? Where are you from?
My question for you is, does rumi know about conan or ai secret?
Hello ^^ I'm from Sweden.
I think she did since she started at Teitan, since I believe she is Vermouth in disguise.
As for what Gosho has currently shown to us in the story, Wakasa knows that Conan is behind sleeping Kogoro (File 1034)...
Tumblr media
...and that Haibara is the BO scientist Miyano Shiho who is the daughter of "Hell angel" (File 1070 & 1097-1098).

Detective Conan Rumi Wakasa is Vermouth Theory

I'm also noticing that more types of cases have close plot relevance than before?
The main police love stories are Chiba and Naeko (now mostly resolved), and Yumi and Haneda Shuukichi... who is the middle brother of the Akai family. And each case with her brings a few clues about what's going on there.
Plus, instead of the Detective Boys just stumbling into things, and later being a vehicle for Kobayashi and Shiratori, we now have Rumi Wakasa, who has a dark past - and a connection with Kuroda.
Even supposedly average at-home cases have the sushi guy, who's been shown to be suspicious, alongside Amuro (actually Bourbon), with Azusa being Vermouth's disguise once.
Cases in other prefectures are no longer just "filler" with fun characters, as there's the added complications of the Nagano trio and whatever is going on between Koumei and Amuro.
Kid heists are also more plot relevant, and especially so since the Mystery Train, but possibly even before then, since they were sharing details with each other about their mothers. But now we've had Kid encountering Shuuichi, Koumei attending a Kid heist, and the next one has Amuro attending. The most recent has not just the reappearance of Hakuba, but the first instance as far as I know of Kid disguising as Shinichi in manga canon, not just the movies.
So that all means that the plot is condensing so that cases that previously would have been "there's only a few bits here that could be considered relevant" are now not just dipped but soaked in plot. There's barely, if any, that go by with nothing.
In other words? We're picking up speed.

Kaiju Week in Review (October 9-15, 2022)
Tumblr media
Supreme shock sensation of our times: a Godzilla comic released on schedule! Godzilla: Monsters & Protectors - All Hail the King! #1 dropped on Wednesday. I'll confess I forgot about it for a couple of days; your priorities get scrambled when you're recovering from knee surgery. This is a direct sequel to last year's Monsters & Protectors; I don't recommend going in blind. Two big reasons to pick it up: Gabara's debut in American comics (in a dream, natch) and a professional Xilien troll who muses over which reaction .gif he should deploy. Yeah, me too.
Tumblr media
Toho released a teaser and this very cool still for the upcoming short Fest Godzilla 3: Gigan's Attack, showing off the Showa Gigan replica suit Shinichi Wakasa built. It's strange to see it opposite FinalGoji (presumably the same stunt suit from last year's Godzilla vs. Hedorah short). I guess it's just his destiny to face Godzilla suits that are barely holding themselves together.
Tumblr media
I cannot hope to comprehensively cover the deluge of Godzilla merchandise forever threatening my bank account in this column, but I would like to spotlight this enamel Baragon pin, designed by Christian Gonzalez for Ghost X Ghost. When I saw it my hands simply moved to order of their own volition.
Tumblr media
The Dino De Laurentiis King Kong films are getting format upgrades. StudioCanal has a 4K restoration of the 1976 remake slated for November 28, while Umbrella Entertainment is bringing King Kong Lives, long out of print in the States, to Blu-ray on January 18. Neither company is American, but 4Ks don't have region codes and I hear Umbrella Blu-rays are typically region-free.
Probably neither will be a buy for me. The color grading on the 4K King Kong doesn't look great, and the special features don't measure up to the Blu-ray Shout! released last year. I will grant that the King Kong Lives Blu looks like a winner, with great packaging and new special features including a Ray Morton audio commentary. (They had to be new; the old DVD didn't have a thing to mine.) But it's not exactly one of my favorites, and since Shout! recently picked up the rights to it, I'd rather hold out for a version I don't have to import.
Tumblr media
Just over a year after it premiered at Fantastic Fest, Iké Boys is out on digital courtesy of (they just keep coming up) Shout! Factory. Hopefully a physical release will follow, because this heartfelt American tribute to tokusatsu doesn't deserve to be buried in the Google Play Store. Set in the last month of 1999, it concerns a pair of Oklahoma tokusatsu geeks and a Japanese exchange student trying to prevent the apocalypse, empowered by the obscure 1969 anime film that predicted it. It's very low-budget and hits a lot of predictable coming-of-age beats, but it's got a good heart and Yumiko Shaku (yes, Akane in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla) classes it up. Also... it's not often I'm pandered to so directly. The director's one of us, to put it mildly.
Tumblr media
Big thing are happening on the bootleg circuit... a couple of them last week, but I never posted about them on Tumblr and this is the first installment of this column. Yesterday, Skeweds Translations posted fansubs for What to Do with the Dead Kaiju?, Toei and Shochiku's kaiju comedy with no U.S. release outside of film festivals in sight. The film is catastrophically bad, I'm sorry to say, failing as a satire and as a genre exercise; Day of the Kaiju handled the same premise far better in a quarter of the time. But if you're so inclined, you can find a copy of the movie itself on the cat site... along with a higher-quality copy of Shin Ultraman than was uploaded there previously. I don't know where these things are coming from (Zarab?), but I'm not complaining.
And in the how-can-this-be-real category, a treat for your ears: the recently unearthed Hong Kong dub of Hanuman and the Seven Ultramen. As in Godzilla vs. Megalon, Ted Thomas, Chris Hilton, and Warren Rooke voice many of the characters. You won't believe the words coming out of their mouths—I don't think they did either. Between the child murder, checkmated atheist, and Hanuman's unquenchable thirst for carnage, this was always one of the kaiju movies with the most jaw drops per minute, and it just got better. A VHS containing the dub turned up in Lebanon; @Redcome40977685, @PrissMegaforce, Omayyad, and Elie Al Hajj got it digitized and @spacehunter-m synced the audio up to a fine-looking widescreen version.

I don't like Ai very much because of her personality (and especially her wrong judgement in trusting Rumi Wakasa), but when it comes to her love for Conan/Shinichi, it's something I just can't help, but find absolutely beautiful.
Now I am a ShinRan fan, but the latest movie really shows perfectly her feelings for him, especially during this one special moment they share under the sea...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now this is the movie for fans who support and love Conan and Ai's relationship. It's probably the very film they've been waiting for so long to see since it shows just how deeply Ai has fallen in love with him... and even more so, Ai and Conan even share a kiss!

What do you say about the theory that Kuroda is Akais dad?
Ahem. I've always regarded it as a very plausible theory and the one more likely to be true to be honest. But I just couldn't accept the fact the Aoyama-sensei would make it possible to infiltrate the NPA in the story. The idea of Tsutomou making the Japanese Police believe he is Kuroda Hyoue with such a dubious background, was an idea I struggled with.
Not to mention, the fact that Tsutomou was an MI6 agent, which means those who were searching for him and couldn't locate him, were intelligence agents. I just think that even if he was highly disfigured, they could still find him. The fact that intelligence officers couldn't find him make me doubt the disfigured amnesia scenario. Since it was somehow a probable scenario for an intelligence officer. It makes me think what happened to Tsutomou was way more improbable. You know, like what happened to Shinichi. Who by the way, is also presumed dead without a dead body for everyone outside of his personal circle.
Also, I felt that it was too awful a coincidence that Rei's boss would be Shuichi's father.
I'm also struggling with the fact that so far, Kuroda never showed aptitude for martial arts.
To be fair, he's a good fit to be Akai's father physically, including the widow's peak argument. And there's the fact he seemed to recall meeting Wakasa Rumi.
In other words, I don't really have much against it. And I'm prepared for it being the case, though hoping there would be a better explanation for Tsutomou's involvement with the PSB better than the infiltration trope. Also, I want a good explanation, why the FBI, CIA and MI6 couldn't find him 17 years ago.
As I said before, my theory that Iori is Tsutomou is a wild one. It's mostly a feeling, and a lot of thoughts to back up what was originally a feeling.

"00:00" shinwaka smut
[he couldn't get enough.]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
↳ this is my first time writing smut so what do i know. anyways, enjoy ig?
↳ MINORS DNI, just smut ig? and shin being a jerk
↳ wakasa (Ω), shinichiro (α)
↳ lowercase intended
...
wakasa opened the door towards their shared room with shinichiro, looking for his ravenette. it's been a while since he came looking for him, and he knows he's home by now.
"shin-chan," he said, going inside the room and looking everywhere for him. he then sat down by the bed in the middle of the room and sighed, "i don't like playing hide-and-seek right now."
he then felt strong arms behind him, pulling him down by the waist. he then felt something stern but soft hit his head, then realised it was the alpha's chest.
"where were you?" he said, crossing his arms up his chest. "I've been calling you for fifteen minutes and you don't reply."
"hm," shinichiro manhandled wakasa, as he sits up and takes wakasa to sit on his lap, facing him. the albino then wrapped his arms around the alpha's neck. the ravenette then snuggled his nose onto the shorter's neck, feeling comforted by the strawberry scent he had. "did that on purpose."
"well at least tell me where you are," wakasa rolled his eyes, which made shinichiro chuckle, the vibrations landing on the omega's neck. "what were you doing anyway?"
"i found this," shinichiro took the small bag beside him, handing it over to wakasa. the omega then took it, opening the bag from the two handles on each side. "I just remembered it until now."
wakasa looked at him with pupils dilated, "what behaviour is this, shin-chan?"
"you like it?" shinichiro gave his sheepish smile, which pissed off the omega even more. "c'mon, wear it."
wakasa scowled, harshly grabbing the grey virgin sweater and throwing the paper bag behind him. he then threatened, "you'll regret this."
"no, i won't. at all."
wakasa stood up, removing every piece of clothing he was wearing, and wore the virgin sweater shinichiro gave him, his lilac eyes not leaving his blissful pair.
"how do i look?"
shinichiro answered, "I'm gonna fuck you until you're unable to stand."
"oh really?" wakasa climbed up to shinichiro's waist, spreading his legs properly. the woollen fabric slid up as he sat down, and shinichiro very much loved the view. "try it then."
"i won't try it," shinichiro whispered, wrapping his fingers towards the omega's member and slowly jerking it. wakasa's body shivered by the touch, his breath rasped and fast. "i already know how."
"how unfair," he said between breathes. "you should get naked too."
"but you're not? shinichiro smirked, jerking him faster. "how's that unfair?"
"shin-chan, please," wakasa mumbled, biting his lower lip to stifle a moan. "w-wait."
"wait?" shinichiro placed his lips on wakasa's neck, slowly biting it. "absolutely not."
"a-ah," the omega moaned softly, closing his eyes in such ecstasy. "i-i'm near my-"
then, white fluid splurted out of him, painting shinichiro's black shirt and hand. shinichiro frowned.
"did i say you can come?"
wakasa shivered at the tone and opened his eyes to see shinichiro with a disappointed look on his face.
"n-no..."
"then you deserve a punishment."
"i don't need a-"
in a flash, wakasa was pushed down on the bed, lying on his back. shinichiro then took his hips and turned him around, face down and ass up. the omega could hear the sound of a belt being thrown to the ground and the shuffling of clothing behind him. the ravenette then opened the drawer by the nightstand on the right side of the bed and took a light purple bottle out of it. he heard a pop of the bottle and the squeeze of the plastic. the bottle was then thrown beside him, right near his face.
shinichiro then pulled his white locks, as he aligned himself with the throbbing hole. he then whispered, "no prep, and if it hurts, i don't care. do you need your safe word, wakasa?"
that voice and how his name rolled out of his tongue can make wakasa shake.
"n-no, no need."
"good," shinichiro then tightened his grip on wakasa's hair, slowly entering him. "because I'm not going to be gentle with you."
wakasa's eyes then opened wide when shinichiro snapped his hips, going on hard and fast thrusts. it was not long when the ravenette found the bundle of nerves that make the omega squirm and scream, shouting his name and asking for more.
"now, who's a good kitty for me?" he said, and wakasa could feel the smirk curling on the side of his lips. "answer me."
wakasa couldn't, the words were stuck in his throat and the only thing that comes out of his mouth is moans and half-said curses.
"wakasa."
"y-yes, sir," he blurted, and that turned on shinichiro even more. he then went faster, not giving wakasa the time to keep up. the room was filled with lewd noises, flapping of skin and the omega's shouts and moans.
"i'm-i'm near," wakasa said, but he then felt shinichiro's member leave his throbbing hole. "a-ah what was that for?"
shinichiro let go of his locks and pushed his ass down. he then smirked, "I said this is a punishment. do you think I'll let you finish?"
"fuck you."

does conan already know that wakita is RUM?
Conan has shown carefulness around Wakita in terms of what he lets on around him and given him serious/pondering stares since his revealed thoughts that correlated Wakita's covered left eye with Rum's description (File 975).
Tumblr media
These could have been fueled by how Conan witnessed Wakita being nosy in Kudo Shinichi's neighborhood just after the BO paranoia from the Shinichi news got high (File 1008).
Tumblr media
The first case he showed it was in File 1056-1057, when Conan showed worriness over the amount of praise he got near him, as well as him having a "..." moment when Wakita played down his capabilities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second case was File 1100, when Conan gave a serious stare as soon as Wakita showed up and then feighed ignorance about Wakasa when he was asked if he noticed something.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These behaviors are very consistent with when Conan usually suspects someone to be more than what they seem. While it's still unknown what exactly he is thinking, It's definitely not a stretch to speculate that he is viewing Wakita as a potential threat, and that he could indeed be Rum, especially after he recently concluded that Wakasa, his main Rum suspect, was not Rum and rather the innocent bodygaurd Asaka (File 1109).
