Keiiii~ Hope you won't mind me asking for a match up ^^ Male HQ and KHR please. 4'8 INFP shy&socially awkward around strangers, esp guys. Yaku Morisuke (Haikyuu!!): With the nine-inch difference between you both, you make him feel pretty tall; and it’s not-so-secret that he revels in having a small and adorable girlfriend. His confidence and straightforwardness nicely balances your more demure demeanor and you can bet that he won’t ever hesitate to speak up on your behalf. While he’d be concerned about your anxiety, he’s glad that you let yourself cry. Better to let those feelings out than to bottle them up inside. 

He’s not a big fan of being teased, but he’ll put up with it if it’s from you. And if you’re teasing someone else, it’s likely that he’ll join you. Overall, he’d try to encourage you to have more confidence from time to time and would find your ‘fangirl’ moments to be quite adorable; though it does make him quite jealous from time to time.

Inuoka Sou (Haikyuu!!): He’s drawn to your meek nature, though at first it’s just pure curiosity on his part. Why is he always noticing this small and cute girl everywhere? Has she been watching him play? Should he try talking to her? Honestly, he wouldn’t even realize how awkward you actually are (since it’s not like he’s exactly ‘normal’ by social standards either), and given that he’s full of sunshine and cheer, it wouldn’t take long for him to get you to open up a bit. 

He’d probably initially respond with minor panicking/confusion whenever your nerves kick in or if you start crying, but he’d quickly put in his best efforts to cheer you up. He loves it when you laugh, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he tried to make it a goal to get you to laugh at least once every day. 

Fortunately for you, he’s pretty upfront about his feelings and whatnot so you hardly ever have to guess about things when it comes to him. That gives you one less thing to worry about in the end. Being the pretty hyperactive guy he is, it’s not hard for him to find something else to occupy himself with whenever you’re gaming by yourself, but you can bet that he’ll get curious whenever you start fangirling. He also loves seeing you get excited, and in his case, excitement is pretty contagious (though he’ll wonder why he doesn’t feel as fired up whenever you start talking about other boys).

Yamamoto Takeshi (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!): His laid-back and friendly attitude makes it pretty hard not to get along with him. He’d be pretty patient with you and will usually reassure you kindly whenever you’re feeling down or nervous. It’s nearly impossible to stay feeling down around this guy. He gets a bit difficult to understand whenever he’s excited and he can certainly be more than a little oblivious sometimes, but his heart is in the right place and he’d definitely try to be good to you. 

Since he’s such a nice guy and all, it’s likely he’ll become friends with your friends as well. He’d definitely like seeing the more open and interactive side of you and might even tease you about it from time to time. He also doesn’t mind you fangirling over anime or video games since he thinks you’re pretty cute when you do. So long as you aren’t just leaving him on the side-bench all the time, he'd be happy.

 TYL!Irie Shouichi (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!): He’s not exactly the most confident or social guy around so he would definitely relate with you. Especially since you both have issues with anxiety. The two of you could help each other overcome your inner demons. He’s a pretty smart guy, but it’d be good for him to loosen up sometimes (especially since he makes a bad habit out of overworking himself from time to time), and seeing as how you’re not exactly the type to put pressure on others (plus you’re pretty small and it’d be hard to consider you intimidating) as well as the fact that you can relate to and tease him, you’d be a pretty good candidate. 

The fact that you’re both a bit similar in the personality department would subconsciously make him want to step up from time to time. Not just to impress you (though let’s be honest, he’s tried and failed a few times in that regard), but also because he wouldn’t want more of his pessimism and anxiety to rub off on you. He’d realize it after hearing you laugh for the first time (I’m almost certain it was at his expense); that he wants you to just keep laughing. 

He’s got some experience in programming and whatnot so since you seem to enjoy yourself when you’re playing video games, he might try to create some MODs for you to play with as well after you’ve finished up with them. He’s very fond of music, and since he dreamed of becoming a musician at one point, he might let you listen to him practice sometimes. The fact that you both seem to be the indoor types is also a good plus.

Yaku can't help but feel like a creep sitting on his girlfriend's lawn, hidden in the shadows so no one would see him. Occasionally, he would check the time on his phone to see what time it is, and the glow illuminates his face. He raises his head and stayed focused on the street in front of him.

A few hours ago, it was sunny and bright, the sky clear, and the wind at a standstill. The restaurants and malls were filled with couples, all of which were simply spending time with each other. The real celebrations started in the evenings though, but this year, he wasn't able to do that since work conflicted them. Good thing too - he was about to go nuts when he was unable to find a place to make a reservation. Then the whole family emergency threw him off his game and he has midterms to study for...

He checks the time again. Unless his girlfriend got off late, she should be here by now. Today has been nothing but surprises, he thought. He isn't fond of surprises - unlike his girlfriend. She loved them. It depends on the execution though.

He checks the time once more and then stands. He sees someone walking down the sidewalk, turning onto the path leading to the building. It's her, right? It's too dark for him to tell but no one else would walk in alone on an evening like this.

"Stella-chan."

You raise your head, noticing Yaku, who is standing right in front of you. Where did he even come from? Was he waiting here this whole time? "Yakkun? Why are you here?"

"I can't let you spend Valentine's Day alone," he says with a smile. "Besides, I never even said happy birthday, just happy Valentine's Day, so I'm going to say it now." He reveals the bouquet of flowers he was hiding behind his back, a myriad of colors adorning the flowers. Not a single one was a rose. "Happy Birthday, Stella-chan."

He leans forward to give you a light kiss, smiling at the blush in your cheeks. "I have other motives for coming tonight too," he says. "I want to have a slice of your cake too. You can't hog it all to yourself and your family. Hope you don't mind sharing."

"You're always invited."

"That's good to hear." He reaches out to guide you to the door. "Eventually, I'm going to show up at your door with a bouquet and ring. You think you'll invite me in when that happens?"

You don't have an answer so you don't say anything. He's teasing, of course, but it'll happen someday.

Someday. Just go enjoy your cake already.

Heeyyy Rythian, what d’you know about shimmerleaves and silverwoods?

Ah, yes, the shimmerleafs and silverwoods. I'm assuming you're asking for their Flux-combatting abilities...? The Shimmerleafs, as they are, are incapable of removing any sort of flux or infection, and if are placed near any infected sites, will not stop it. They can however, via alchemy, be changed into Etheral Blooms, which are flowers that are capable of reverting back... nearly anything that had been fluxed to its original state, over time. Silverwood trees contain within them what is known as a pure node, which also allows them to stave off the infection, but to a larger radius. If the pure node is destroyed, however, the tree no longer is able to repel the flux. Whilst having a stronger power, and a higher radius, the Silverwood trees, or more accurately the pure nodes within them, are less likely to be moved due to their nature, as well as the ability for nodes to get corrupted. Ethereal Blooms, while seeming less powerful, are extremely helpful for clearing of flux for their maneuverability. ...However, this only applies to non-organic life, or plantlife. They have been shown to not have any effects in reversing the Flux in living organisms, humans, animals, or monsters. So, while they can stave off the physical effects and stop the tainted lands from expanding.. neither, to my knowledge, can be used to cure an infection.

Flux Affliction Lore Pt2

Healing Flux Poisoning

To anyone reading this seeking a cure for flux poisoning please keep in mind that most of these are theoretical methods and only a small number of cases were able to be “cured.” Full restoration of the patient has not been able to be achieved and a number of remaining physical mutations may linger. Predominantly, affected skin and eyes will retain a light purple coloration, skin appearing to have the look of staining or tattoos depending on original manifestation. Severe cases of flux poisoning may not be able to be removed and can only be contained via the methods listed. Proceed with caution and carefully observe your patient at all stages of treatment.

Methods of Curing Flux Poisoning

Ethereal Blooms

For all cases of flux poisoning the primary and easiest means of beginning curing and containing extreme cases is to use ethereal blooms. These alone will not be enough but they act as a base to provide a constant source of ordo and are naturally efficient at fighting taint and flux based manifestations and maladies. The infected should remain in contact with active blooms for as long as possible including either resting near planted ones or wearing strands of them. While ethereal blooms are able to live on longer than most plants after being plucked they are expensive to replace and shimmerleaf is often difficult to obtain outside of magic infused forests. Ethereal blooms combined with a steady intake of ordo infused healing potions often acts as a base for recovery or containing the spread of flux within the body.

Contact with infected skin appears to work best but remaining within close vicinity to the bloom will still help. For those who cannot obtain a large amount of these marvelous plants it is recommended to keep them in pots around the infected to prolong the flora’s life as long as possible. If the infected subject must remaining moving around then keeping the plants in areas most commonly inhabited is a potential solution. Remember, ethereal blooms are rather delicate so do not handle them roughly or make too many fast movements when worn.

Ordo Infused Healing Potions

NEVER POUR DIRECT ORDO ESSENTIA INTO YOUR POTIONS

Like ethereal blooms, these potions are one of the primary means of curing and containment of flux poisoning. The addition of ordo infused into the potion will help with moving the element more directly through the subject’s body and help dispel deeper flux within. The direct healing also helps to repair damaged and mutated flesh as much as possible, giving the body more to work with as the fluxed magic is metaphorically unwound from its chaotic messy state into a balanced natural form. This often has multiple side effects to the body and subjects who have experienced more severe mutations due to flux often find their bodies cannot function the same without the chaotic magic coursing through them. Healing potions help ease this and decease any potential pain caused. Keep in mind however that extreme cases of mutation and flux poisoning may not be able to be cured using these potions or ethereal blooms. The two combined do help greatly in the healing and/or containment process.

A careful thaumaturge with a basic understanding of essentia distillation and object infusion should be able to take standard healing potions and turn them into flux fighting elixirs. Using your choice of healing potion, usually glowstone infused is prefered for the added strength, place the potion upon the central pedestal. Using two order shards (generally found within infused stone underground) place them equal distance upon opposite pedestals surrounding your altar. Keep no less than a half full jar worth of ordo and sano essentia both on hand for the infusion to assure a safe ritual. Multiple potions may be placed upon the altar to infuse all at once but please keep in mind that this will increase your required supplies, two potions requiring four order shards and twice as much essentia and so on.

Depending on the level of infection the patient may need multiple potions a day or simply a single potion everyday to every other day. It’s important to keep a constant source of ordo active within their system and when using ethereal blooms this can mitigate the extensive use of healing potions in less severe cases. Never depend solely on one method alone to completely cure however. It has been proven that large amounts of ordo must be present to neutralize the flux. Potions are the most direct way to assure safe delivery of ordo to the inner most parts of those infected and will assure even someone who is internally flux poisoned will still receive ordo regardless of proximity to blooms.

Amputation

ONLY USE AS A LAST RESORT

As a last ditch resort amputation can be used on severely infected limbs as long as the majority of the flux has not traveled past the connection point of said limb. If the infection is beyond this point then do not attempt this method as it will have no helpful effect to the patient. This should always be performed by a trained doctor and never attempted on one’s self or by an amateur.

A prime case for using this method would be if a subject’s arm was beginning to display signs of taint such as a dark purple, crusting or tentacle like growths. Another case would be if the subject has been able to be cured of flux everywhere else in the body but the limb will not heal and threatens to infect the rest of their body. In this case the patient should be given the choice between using blooms and potions to prevent spreading or using this method to completely remove the severely infected limb.

Disposal of the infected limb is incredibly important, make sure to cure as much as possible via ethereal blooms before burning. Stay away from the fire as a small amount of flux gas may be released and will safely rise up and dissipate on its own in the atmosphere.
