With chapter 3 of Porcelain Veneer posted, I can now share Legato's design page! Ignore the part where I technically spoiled this chapter with a tiny Legato.

Below the cut are my design notes, along with some original concepts I drew a year ago when I first thought of this au. How far we've come...

It's fun to see which details I kept and which fell away in favor of other ideas.

​Fun fact! Legato was originally supposed to be confused with Linkle during Hyrule Warriors. The base concept for this au was that Legend was trying to use the Harp of Ages to visit the Chain, but he kept missing. This involved him saving baby Malon, having tea with a sorceress named Cialana, hanging out with baby Wild, crashing through Midna's window, and being a thorn in the side of Ghirahim. All with the punchline that everyone had shown up at his house the second he left.

Obviously, things didn't go the way I was expecting, but I think I'm happy with what I ended up doing :3

No but manga!Chishiya being compared to carnivorous plants during the ten of hearts and the way carnivorous plants only eat insects because the soil they grow on is so poor in nutrients. The way Chishiya was made to be what he is by the way he was raised. A childhood so devoid of human affection that the only human interaction he is capable of is manipulative and destructive. The way plants have roots and can never move away from the place they germinate and Chishiya really hasn't, either

ARTFIGHT #4, MANAGED TO GET IT BEFORE IT ENDED WHEW BOY. I honestly didn't expect to be able to get this done but sudden post of energy and motivation near the deadlines made me make a piece I'm actually very happy with.

Fenris scarf! (ID in alt)

Crocheted acrylic yarn, embroidered with glow in the dark yarn (which is, in fact, something that exists!) It measures ~6'8" (about 2m) without the tassels and is 7" (~17cm) wide at the widest point.

The embroidered parts took about five hours to finish, which was far faster than I was expecting. I drew the tattoo design on with chalk markers (the kind you use for windows), embroidered over it, and then washed it out (thanks again to everyone who helped with references!) Highly recommend this method if you try anything similar. This was a really cool project! I learned a lot of things from it, most importantly the dragon scale stitch I used for the bottom of the black section. I think I will be doing Leliana or Morrigan next c:

going insane about Andred Gallifrey again.

he discovered the free time plot. he resolved to single-handedly stop the free time plot. he killed the guy responsible for the free time plot. He could've stopped there, he could've been the hero who saved the planet!!! If he'd just waited, he could've seen that without Torvald, there was no more free time movement on gallifrey!!

But he was convinced narvin was the traitor, but he didn't wait, but he took on another man's identity before his own personality had a chance to establish itself post-regeneration, because he was so committed to stopping the plot.

Did he ever realise that Narvin was innocent? That the reason he couldn't find the traitor among the other CIA opperatives was that he'd already taken them out? Or did he refuse to believe that? Did he refuse to accept that he was impersonating a dead man, destroying his life, being so cruel to Leela, for nothing at all? He knows too many classified CIA secrets to confess now. All he's got is carrying on, long after there stopped being an end goal, or any way out.
