I really do enjoy having the same days off as the rest of my family. We had a slow morning and I took the girls for a walk in the woods after breakfast.

Afterwards my husband and I loaded up our hiking bags and headed north for a hike. It was really so gorgeous out today. I still am not 100%. I had to stop so much on the inclines which is infuriating, honestly. But I finished it

I tried my best to force myself to relax for the rest of the afternoon/evening. I have a big work week starting tomorrow and I need all the energy I can get.

So I'm reading this batman story, On The Way Home by ignesfatuis and she had a quote from The Outlaws Of Sherwood in it. Made me think of you so I had to share.

Tim Drake has a secret.

Well, he knows Batman's secret, but that one isn't really his, he's just holding on to it.

Tim's secret is that he and his parents are wolf shifters, and they refuse to let anyone know about it. But it's fine. He can shove down his feelings and instincts that whisper that he's been abandoned and live a perfectly normal Bat-photographer life.

Except that there's a black market for shifters and the way home is longer than he had thought possible.
