Hello! I've hit a writing slump. Can my mutuals help?
Please send me prompts for one shot, short fics for your favorite ships you know I write for. I will write as many short fics as I can.
I am stuck, writing a long, plotty, Jopzier fic, and I'm not inspired, and I keep wanting to write other stuff to get the juices flowing, but I want other people to suggest it.
Have a one shot you want to read? Here are the ships I write for:
The Adventures of Tintin:
Haddotin
Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell:
Childerell
Childerstrange
Major Merlin
BlackThistle
Childercelles
The Terror:
Jopzier
Fitzier
Bridglar
All configurations of Mcdonald/Goodsir/Stanley
Goodsilna
Sherlock:
Johnlock
The Hobbit:
Bagginshield
Kiliel
Pacific Rim
Newmann - if it's not too technical. I can't read up on Kaiju timelines right now, but I could fake it for the sake of this adorable ship.
CBS Ghosts
Hetty/Thorfin
Death In Paradise:
Richard Poole/Camille Bordey
Don't be shy! My squicks and things I don't enjoy writing:
Vampires or blood play
Kid fic
Public sex where they might get caught
Angst with no happy ending
Gen fic with no romance or sex
What I WILL WRITE:
Anything else! From T to E rated. Don't be afraid to ask for nasty, nasty smut, or innocent, sweet cuddles.

Trying to figure out newmann's watson to his sherlock
On one hand, hermann is so logical and the usual cool you see in Sherlock. But Newt has Sherlock's drive. He has questions, he will keep pushing, have dubious morality on what's right and wrong.
The other, Newt has seen and experienced things that Hermann won't. He's seen and walked through hell longer than a man should. He hasn't come out unscathed. Hermann I don't have much for other than they both use canes but I don't want that to be the only reason
HII I love this idea <3 it's a little difficult cause none of them fit Watson super well but I'm a fan of sherlock newt bc like.. passion, like he'd get really really into the mystery and wouldn't be able to think about anything else until it was solved.
Like I think newt would get really into it while hermann would be better at setting himself apart from what's happening a little more and he might urge newt in a direction when he figures something out--they're both different facets of Sherlock really so it's trickyy they would make an awesome mystery solving duo bit they'd be arguing the whole time because their approaches would be really different

Thinking about newmann, after all that I've been reading about the events of Pacific Rim Uprising, and what the ship has become.
I remember seeing the first movie all those years ago; it was a free showing on my campus a couple of months after it came out, and I went on a whim. The film got me hook line and sinker, and I became enraptured with the fandom and the ship. Newmann became something special to me because I got into it right around when I was questioning my own identity, and as dumb as it sounds, I do believe it did help me to eventually come to terms with myself.
Coming out of the toxic miasma that was the Sherlock/johnlock fandom, the PacRim community was full of incredible people and creators, with so much passion for the film. Some of the best fics I've ever read (and I mean in terms of pure writing skill and nuance, not just shipping nonsense) came out of this fandom, and were for this ship.
As with all fandoms, eventually the lull in content dispersed the community to new interests, but PacRim and Newmann will always be an integral part of who I am today.
Which is why im making this, as I mourn the ship in light of the events of this sequel. It would be one thing to not really develop the characters, they weren't very prominent in the first movie. But with the hype of the ship becoming cannon, and the interviews that all but confirmed it, I became suspicious. It wouldn't be the first time a film toted about having a gay couple, just for it to turn out untrue and/or just used as bait. PacRim Uprising didn't do this, however, what they did is arguably worse. Yes they gave us our 'cannon ship', yes we have our gay couple (I guess), but in return, it ends in tragedy as is the norm for depections of LGBT couples. I don't know if I'd rather have this cop out, or just the baiting. It all feels the same to me. The ship will forever be tainted with this.
And it feels like a cheap shot for the film and those behind it to recgonize the fandom, and the ship, and then to do this. Im feeling a little bitter that something special to me has been taken away, in a sense.
I just wanted to share me feelings on this. I was never a big contributor to the fandom, but it still meant something to me, and it saddens me for it to end like this.

I want to ask you all the shipping questions! Can you do: 1, 4, 5, 28, 30?
I got like three or four asks from this one post alone lol. I feel so valued. I have enough ships to more than go around, however, so if I get a repeat I’ll just answer again!
1: What ship do you love as husbands?
Well I mean, it’s right there in the name, but ineffable husbands (i.e. crowley/aziraphale from Good Omens) are my fave old married couple. Like, really old married couple. Pretty sure they’ve been married since the dawn of humanity, or at least sometime right after. They’re so domestic! With their ‘dear this’, and 'angel that’. It’s sickeningly fluffy and I love them for it.
ALSO I can’t possibly let this slide without talking about spirk. I just can’t. They are, after all, the original gaaaaaays iiiin spaaaaaace. Have you ever seen a more married couple?!
4: What’s your super-duper cute ship?
Hmmm. Well I’ve read a lot of sulu/chekhov fluff for both TOS and TAOS. I just think they’re neat. Also I like amy/jake from B99 for the sweet fluff reasons, too.
Also: GOTHIC WOLF. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH DOMESTIC FICTION I HAVE READ FOR THESE TWO?!? THE ANSWER IS ALL OF IT. THAT IS NOT EXAGGERATION. ALL. OF. IT.
5: Any Asexual ships?
Back in the day, about half the time, I used to HC Sherlock as Asexual and I’ve actually read some decent fic of it.
Also Steve Rogers is demi so like, fight me everyone else.
28: What ship made me cry?
I have a love/hate relationship with angst (as in love to read it, hate the way I cry like a baby every damn time) so the real question here, is what ship hasn’t made me cry?
Newmann, Spirk, Sterek, and Dean/Cas are some of the biggest offenders though. Johnlock had that one fic that broke me down, hard. Janto did me real dirty in Children of Earth .
Hartwin’s been the most recent for sure, and, Oh, oh no. I’m now uncovering memories of all the merthur fic I’ve read and how the show just tore my heart open. Why would you do this to me.
Also anything where it’s like 1 character/the love and support of their found family is definitely guilty of this.
30: Recommend one fanfic.
Why must I choooooose.
Warmth in Winter ( https://archiveofourown.org/works/13054797 ) was cute and domestic Gothic Wolf.
Also, if I’ve never recommended the BWOC story Proposition that means I have failed you as a friend, please go read it. ( https://m.fanfiction.net/s/1409491/1/Proposition )
Thank you for the asks this was so much fun! And hey if you wanna ask more I won’t stop you lol

The rules 1. always post the rules 2. Answer the new questions given by the previous person 3. Write 11 new questions 4. Tag 11 people
——————————
1. Do you have a favourite word? If yes, what and why? - Not really? For the most part I like metaphors & figures of speech more than individual words.
2. That one fandom you can always return to: - Sherlock Holmes (not any specific adaptation, just Holmes in general)
3. The Hobby you lowkey wish you had: - Climbing trees
4. What’s your aesthetic? - For clothes? “Indecisive, but likes patterns.” Also kind of nerdy? I wear a lot of sweaters and button-ups, so make of that what you will.
5. The ship you can fangirl about/ read fics of at all times : - Newmann, I guess? At least at the moment. It usually changes with my special interests.
6. Nature person, city person, or both? - Kind of both.
7. Ever questioned your gender identity? - I’m trans lol
8. Any advice on how to be happy? - Be gentle with yourself. Take time to do things just because they make you happy. Give yourself permission to not do things sometimes, and try to accept your limitations instead of hating yourself for them.
9. Sporty person/ Couch potato or both? - Couch potato 90% of the time. I get kind of intense about fencing though.
10. Favourite nonfamous film? - Real Genius. Mostly for the character of Chris Knight, if I’m being honest, but all the characters are pretty interesting. I think it would be better without the romantic subplot, but that doesn’t play a very big role anyway.
11. Your hogwarts hous(es)? - Ravenclaw.
——————————
New questions:
1. Do you have a favourite podcast?
2. Best comfort food?
3. Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted?
4. Can you think of a well-written fictional romance? What did you like about it?
5. Do you like rainy days?
6. How do you feel about personality quizzes?
7. What’s something you wish more people knew about?
8. What’s the weirdest compliment you’ve ever received?
9. A place you’d like to visit someday:
10. Something that makes you happy:
11. Who’s your favourite fictional character?
I tag: @missawkwardconversation, @exobiologist, @sang-savoir, @therearenohooksinme, @averypolitedog, @mrbingley, @yogdad, @badsnowfo, @spitting-up-fake-blood, @sherlockwatson, @spacewifespock, @gwo, and anyone else who wants to do this!!
