A little more of the twins' wardrobe and how they work in my AU Basically, they wear clothes that don't hinder swimming and that allow them to transform and enter the “submerged caves” in their kingdom or go to the surface (in Shen Jiu's case, his clothes are more ostentatious because of his position, but they all basically have practical cuts, can cover well when on dry land, and are made of impermeable fabric).

But it is more common to wear simpler and less covered clothes or none at all on a daily basis as they don't need to change frequently, so I made some examples of how I imagine it. SJ begins buying his brother every night to keep those disgusting pigs away from his precious brother. The other peak leaders think that SJ is perverted. Only YQY knows. Also imagine Courtesan Shen Yuan's aesthetic. SY's fan adds an air of mystery, beauty, and grace.

alternatively - im sure SJ will buy him in a heartbeat and YQY will give all the money in a heartbeat as well bc eyyyy CQP is a rich af sect hahaha BUT ALSO THE AESTHETIC IS EATING ME UP /sobs and maybe one day for some reason SJ poses as SY so that he too can be in the same aesthetic if just for one time lmao

I couldn't stop myself... all I was thinking while doing this was Yue Qingyuan as Captain, Liu Qingge as prince. So here is that 2% of a (bad) plot I came up with: 12 years ago, Shen Jiu met a human by accident, and they started to see each other in a little isle they started to call theirs. After their first kiss, YQY said he has to be gone for a while, and never came back after this. Young SJ came to their island day after day, until he realized his human wouldn't come back for him. Shen Jiu became bitter, and started to hate humans, never letting his twin Shen Yuan get any close to them. Until SY saw the Ship, and convinced his brother to come see that in it was the man he has been thinking about all those years, and that he came back after all. Even being clearly affected, SJ says he has nothing to do with him anymore. Shen Yuan don't have a choice but to come up with a plan to get his brother closer to YQY again.
