DnD A!U part 2 The Forest Boogaloo.
Their mission had led them deep into the forest of Thinningveil. Alphonse held aloft an Amethyst Chalice whose glow fluctuated depending on how he held it. They sought the assistance of Bennie, one of Alphonse's children, who had chosen a divergent path from the one the church had offered. Bennie had aligned more with natural magic rather than the holy arts and had become a Druid.
Alphonse wasn't as disappointed by Bennie's choice as he had been with Cadmus's departure and foray into necromantic arts. After all, the Dionysian church embraced the concept of freedom of choice, with a strong emphasis on finding pleasure in supporting all forms of life.
"Are we making any progress, Dad? It's been hours, and I thought you knew their whereabouts," Cadmus complained miserably, his boots ill-suited for traversing the muddy forest.
"Well, Cadmus, you could lend a hand with my detection spell. You still remember some Bardic magic, don't you? Or did you abandon that to raise someone's bloated Aunt Pam from the dead and manipulate her on a battlefield?" Alphonse retorted.
"Ugh, fine. Don't act like it didn't help scare the crap out of the enemy," he grumbled. Cadmus then pointed two fingers at the chalice Alphonse held aloft and chanted, "Itchita Copita Locus Mystica," causing the chalice to glow even brighter when pointed in a specific direction.
"Thank you, Cadmus," Alphonse replied with a flat tone.
Stan kept a vigilant watch for the other two, his attention divided as Alphonse concentrated on finding Bennie while Cadmus continued to complain about the length of the hike. He skillfully fired an arrow that pierced through one of Cadmus's gold hoop earrings, pinning a snake to a tree.
"You could have hit me!" Cadmus exclaimed in shock.
"Cadmus, if I wanted to hit you, I would have. A simple thank you will suffice. You really should pay more attention to your surroundings," Stan muttered with a hint of exasperation.
An acorn pinged off Cadmus's forehead, and a voice from up in the tree scolded, "Yeah, you dolt!" It was Bennie, smiling down at the trio. "What brings you to my neck of the woods?"
Cadmus, still annoyed, gave a wicked smile while plotting his retaliatory revenge. "Why don't you come down and find out?"
Bennie chuckled from his perch. "Nah, at least not for Cadmus the Great clown-ass Bard. Weird that you became a necromancer, but I guess the only audience you can get to stick around is a dead one, huh?" he taunted.
"Oh, very funny, oh sibling of mine. Remind me, you like squirrels, right?" Cadmus said, the whites of his eyes glowing a malevolent green. A couple of dead, rotting squirrels burst forth from the ground and scurried up the tree toward Bennie.
"Ew, Ew, EWW!" Bennie exclaimed as he acrobatically jumped from the branch he was on, using his sheleighly staff to maneuver cleverly down the tree. He gave Cadmus a good whack on the noggin when he landed, breaking his concentration on the dead squirrels.
Recognizing the escalating situation, Alphonse exchanged a knowing look with Stan and nodded. Alphonse swiftly grabbed Cadmus, while Stan seized Bennie, preventing things from coming to blows.
"Rotting wannabe Lich!" Bennie barked at Cadmus as they continued to struggle against Stan's grip.
"Homeless garden gnome!" Cadmus retorted, still fighting against Al's hold.
Al sighed, glancing at Stan. "Just like old times, huh?"

He likes the windows up top and so do I and at the penthouse level it has those the ones below a little bit gauche but they can be on the inside courtyard he said and we'll probably do that the other windows are the style of the century they look a little odd because the lights are so thick that like inch and a half or two inches thick these days are smaller and it looks nice it looks like bars so huge but the rendering is downtown doesn't look like that and since we have a permit we're putting the rendering up and it's a beautiful place and putting up help wanted signs and we're putting up when it's going to be complete and so forth and people are signing up now they can't believe it'll go up so quick
This is of the Elizabethan period and her son is familiar with it because he's the grandson of Queen Elizabeth and last night everybody was pissed off and had and got mad at her for being around so he was mad and then he lost and then said I don't know who it is but it looks like the a****** rebels who was supposed to be helping you I don't know what that is you can ask guys she went and asked him and he said I dont know what it is either doing it to me and they're competing over something, as a queen blonde b**** instead of you and as soon as him too and so he started to see something now Jenna is blabbing... And she's a horse's ass trying to threaten my money for it so it's going on yeah it's going on you getting sued I'm sending them too yeah I'm huge I need money to survive and you're an idiot you don't run the government a****** and you don't have a right to hold my money you're going to find out the hard way and we can see that people don't understand. It's a hotel and it's built with this architectural theme and style it's not going to look exactly the same because everything is not as pronounced as it was back then but the accidents will be similar instead of protruding a foot and a half so protrude probably 6 in and instead of the lights being 2 inches thick the millions will be probably half inch and they're probably non-operable mostly and we will have some in the penthouse that open but really most of it won't and the designs and scrolls will be plant-ons and won't be as large and pronounced but it will be the same design and type of window and we are planning on doing it in that style in the rendering looks beautiful people say what we say is we're tired of people not doing anything with no style and so they're looking at our son's faces strange. And he's going to look for some interior shots and I'll explain that it's a certain period of time and certain period of time those certain things were happening there's a lot of similarities and she's supposed to be blamed and one reason why they're putting it in but it's not her fault and it's not the warlock and everybody else it is Max plan and his failing cuz he was injured and that's how it's going and yeah it's coming from his clan and they're showing it it's SmackDown that his clan has a big sword and they have a sheleighly

“I'm calling this working a look? The labor of love that goes into eccentrically creating yourself anew again and again. Working a look is about turning yourself into a narrative, and it points to the labor that goes into how we style ourselves every day. What stories are we telling? what are we trying to reveal or, for that matter conceal about ourselves.?”
While I was reading this text my mind kept drifting back to this quote, for me, it nails precisely how I feel about my own presentation. In the Early years of my disability, I struggled with how much attention my Mobility aids Drew.  I have found that people are very bad at accepting young people with disabilities because we live in an ableist Society the site of 14-year-old with a cane or in a wheelchair throws people through a loop. This was very difficult for me to accept, up until the age of 13 I very rarely Drew attention to myself with my appearance. I dress like every other athlete I  knew and that allowed me to blend fairly seamlessly into crowds. But as soon as I started using a cane that all changed all the sudden, I began to notice that everyone's eyes were on me scanning first the cane then me and then back to the cane. on occasion, they will accidentally make eye contact with me and then proceeded to act sheepish knowing that they have been caught. I hit my Breaking Point with this constant negative attention while on a trip to Ireland with my family at the time I was the sickest I think I've ever been and was confined to a wheelchair for a large chunk of the trip. people are exceptionally bad at holding their tongues when it comes to disability and on a near-daily basis I was asked why I needed my Mobility aids and one particularly rude lady  even had the gall to say “ look and that young girl getting wheeled around like she's a queen her poor father.” That comment marked a real low point for me; it made me feel as though I was a spectacle for others curiosity and disgust. I guess how upsetting this all was from me was starting to rub off on my parents, and my father came up with the brilliant idea of purchasing me a sheleighly, an Irish fighting stick/cane to replace my boring Rite Aid cane. The sheleighly immediately improve my mood towards my disability even though people didn't stop staring I could tell myself maybe they just thought my cane was cool. The simple Act of owning a unique cane was the Catalyst for me to change my appearance as soon as we arrived back in America I begin making changes I started by dying my hair, changing my wardrobe dramatically and finally began experimenting with my makeup. My motto became if they're going to stare anyway might as well give them something to stare at. This attitude has really helped me deal with how nasty people are to those of us with disabilities, and I have found it's pretty common amongst other disabled queers I know. For those of us that are forced to wear our differences on our sleeves curating a look that makes you feel confident and brings you Joy is truly therapeutic. When I put on my makeup do my hair and get dress it feels like preparing for battle these small things  Shield me from breaking down about constantly being Examined and questioned by strangers. For this weeks image, I have included a picture of my disable queer friend Elce in an outfit I would die for with a matching cane, their looks are what I aspire too.
