no asoiaf character has ever been more doomed than Lady the direwolf. with most characters you can always rationalize their fate with "oh if they had done this instead of that then things might have been different they would still be alive the war wouldn't have happened etc etc". but with Lady there is just no plausible scenario in which she doesn't end up dead by the end of agot :(

or how most kids just stand in the doorway of a room at night for no reason besides waiting for their parents to wake up so they can ask a question but it can be really creepy and freak the parents out

That kind of thing but mostly the second one because I think that’s more common in kids

Candlelight and Barghest are coping with their flu misadventures by discussing catastrophic disasters, and Kaz is just shouting across the hospital at Zonovo about weaponry.

Wookshys is making friends with Kawoo's dad, Brines, by the river (there's a bathing spot set up on the other side of the bridge from the fishing spot). I guess Brines must have missed the memo that we don't like Wookshys in this colony.

I'm grateful for the animals' help around my colony, I'm just saying I don't know if the murder-blade-dog-monster is a good candidate for carrying the baby around, is all.

I'm sorry, and I say this as someone who loves a lot of books with an accidental pregnancy in them, but like...

If you're writing a contemporary romance set in the now times, and your heroine gets knocked up in like a one night stand, and she isn't like, specifically crazy and attempting to get pregnant by a random, if she's genuinely not at all trying to get pregnant or planning on a pregnancy...

I'm not saying you have to have her consider an abortion, but the idea of her being like "this is all hunky-dory", even if she wants a baby in the long term, is INSANE

Like... in this economy? In this current world? In a reality wherein even if you don't typically support abortion, you know you can't have one even if it threatens your life depending on where you live? Not second-guessing your accidental pregnancy or having negative feelings at all is INSANE and to me it makes your heroine unrelatable, even if she was knocked up by a random billionaire who later swoops in and takes care of her

I mean, I know someone who recently got pregnant by accident, and she was with a man she was planning on marrying and kids with in the long term, they lived together, they had a dog together, the proposal was discussed and right around the corner... and she wasn't happy and she wasn't immediately sure she was going to have it. She decided to in the long term, but she was like, SOBBING when she found out. Because it's a big deal and even if, after some contemplation, you're super happy about having the kid, it's at min OVERWHELMING.

it definitely looks weird! I'm just so used to the sideburns. now it looks very.. Abrupt? honestly im wondering whether it was an actor choice or hair&makeup choice. how much say do actors get over what their hair should look like? because i kinda think that they should get to have a say over their hair. and facial hair. with exceptions of course. like canon is real picky about LAFD rules but i *understand* why beards aren't allowed. im not mad, just disappointed...

I’ve been off grid camping for the past four days and brought my pet jumping spider Ophelia with me. If you don’t know you’re only meant to feed jumping spiders minimum every three days and when you do they get pudgy little abdomens, it’s really cute. Well, I fed her before I left and planned to feed her again when we get to this new campsite but I’ve been keeping an eye on her and noticed she was like. Really fat. Not trying fat shame a spider but my brother started calling her Obeseia. We were so confused and I thought I’d just let her fast and burn off the extra weight, she seemed super happy and was very active in her enclosure so whatever works.

well today I come back to the rv and find her scoffing a gigantic bloody mosquito looking like the stickman violence memes but oh so pleased with herself. After a quick search through her plants I find the decimated bodies of two more monster sized bloodsuckers and realise that every single day she had been feasting on these bugs that are somehow getting themselves into her lair? My only guess is they’re squeezing through the air vents in the cage and can’t get back out.

look I am proud of her work ethic and important role in protecting our family but this is a problem. How do I stop mosquitos attempting suicide because my daughters current diet is a serious concern /s
