I want to know more about Ileana and Drac backstory. Why did he chose her? Does she come from a noble family who made a deal with Dracula - was it basically an arranged marriage? Is she a reincarnation of his previous wife? Did he had a previous wife(s) at all??

So, my idea per her backstory links into my idea for Dracula's backstory. I didn't just want to make him Vlad Dracula cuz that's been over done to (un)death :p

But then he does clearly identify himself as a member of the Dracula family who did actually exist, and who he seems to be quite proud of.

So I got digging to see if I could find anything that might work to slot into actual history.

And low and behold, Wikipedia has an extremely dubious little mention of Vlad Dracula'a son, "Minhea the Evil" , having has a purported third son, "Morus Atrum"

Which, it so happens translates from Latin into something approximately like "Dark Bite"

Which, all of its absolutely dubious historicity aside, sounds like a fang-tastic sort of "real name struck from the records in shame and evil moniker put in it's place" sort of name for a vampire! >:D

(My birth name name for him Mihail Imre Dracula, with credit to @animate-mush for the middle name—I liked the idea of the Devil’s favorite student having the name of the Archangel who tossed him out of heaven)

So my backstory for Dracula is that he's the illegitimate grandson of Vlad Dracula, the son of Minhea with a Romanian peasant woman, who grew up hearing all these amazing (and gory) stories of his lineage and determined he would be the greates of them, and the friendly fallen monk who helped corrupt raise him helps set him up to become a Scholomance alumni and all around terror

(His being raised amoung the so called "lower classes" is also my justification of why my version of Dracula speaks Romanian privately when the upper classes

After he's achieved full undead status after wizardly warlording his mortal life away, he decides it's probably high time he got down to spreading evil in new and creative ways, and sets his eye on finding a suitable bride he can make unholy offspring with (kinda fudging/adjusting the idea of a person being born a vampire if they're the illegitimate child of two illegitimate people—one of whom happens to be a vampire wizard)

And of course, being a proper nobleman, he wants to keep it in the family. So he sends out his dark magic feelers into the world, looking through all his half-siblings descendants

So then I set about trying to find a suitable Dracula descendant to throw an ill-fates child onto 😅

When low and freakin behold--there actually was an Elena Dracula that fit perfectly into the time period I wanted and who was the illegitimate daughter of Peter the Lame, the nephew of my version of Dracula!!

So that just seemed like Fate xD I did elect to keep her name as Ileana, since this is a fictional character and not in any way a true reflection of who Elena Draculesti might have been, but it was a fun little bit of serendipity

So Ileana is seen by some of Dracula’s contacts, witches, who know of his preference to see himself as the destined third son of fables, the one who passes through the trials that destroy all others, the one who is promised Youth without Age and Life without Death, the one who wins the beautiful golden haired princess…

And they steal the child away, raising her to be a dutiful bride to her awaiting lord and master, who will come to claim her on her 18th birthday…

(As to a previous wife during his mortal life? I will admit I have become very drawn by @see-arcane ‘s idea of Countess Dolingen being his wife who left him that he’s never truly gotten over, so in the realm of the tumblr version of Ileana’s story (if I made it a proper book I’d have to do my own thing of course) Dracula does pick her because she reminds him of his first wife—but this one will be loyal, she’ll never leave him. He’ll make sure of it)

i'm playing in the world of Midnight Hollow, cause it's a rly dark world so it's perfect alternative to Druskenval (and ofc the save is called "Edge of Midnight Hollow", cause i'm clever like that)

i have no challenges or plans for this game as of yet, so i'm going to just play them and see where things goes.

starting real strong with Marius and Lethica immediately being attracted towards each other, and Yorgrim wanting to fight Marius a vampire for whatever reason

Jericho is a fairy (cause i found some cool replacers for these fairy wings, also couldn't have them all be witches) and Virgil is a bird, and the bird is the word

Farryn is a plant sim cause i felt that made sense with all her fungus and things (also her horns are sticking out of the ground when she's photosynthesising which i find so cute!! xD )

and Yorgrim is just a regular human sim. don't think there are any sims 3 occults that would rly fit him. however he works in the ghost hunting career, so he'll het to surround himself with spirits and mist a lot xp

A Bunch of Subaru Headcanons I had in Mind:

She went through a three day existential crisis when she realised she actually considered Shiori as a friend rather than her mortal enemy/arch nemesis.

If Shiori is the mom friend of the group, she is the sassy aunt that teaches swear words to her nieces and nephews but always has their backs when they're in trouble.

She's secretly very fond of the Shiori experience gang, but she would rather die than tell that to them directly.

She likes to express her affection through punches on the arm or shoulder. She will do that to Shiori a lot.

She's a crazy driver, like, if you're in a vehicle with her, better recite your prayers.

She's a very good cook but her food is very spicy.

She and her mom like to garden together.

She and Isuzu (who is very fond of Cacti in particular) turn out to have the same passion for botany, to which they will drag Mitsuoka and Satsuki along with them.

She knows Russian and Italian and often curses under her breath in them.

If she ever comes to America and meets Shiori and her band, she would let Shiori translate for her, only to retort to someone that pissed her off in perfect english.

Kuroi is convinced she's a vampire, or a witch, or both, and is afraid she got rid of Shiori and took her place as the light music club advisor. He's the only one in his band to suspect her, and the look of pure fear in his face whenever she glances at him fuels her.

Speaking of Kuroi, I think she would be a weird mix between a third wheel and a matchmaker, is she happy for her friend (I'm sure one and only true one) to find love and be happy? Absolutely, does it piss her off to see neither of them make a move? Also yes.

She will help Kuroi practice his English, as well as teach him some terms of endearment (that may or may not be insults)

Her first name is inspired by the 19th-century vampire novel by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu and her surname is from the Pagan religion, closely associated with witches throughout history.

Moxy put on her tiara with exaggerated delicacy. She turned with a wide smile to Lou, who was scrutinizing her odd costume. She had fairy wings strapped on her back by her shoulders and a tiara on her head. "I'm a fairy princess, duh," she rolled her eyes like it was obvious.

Lou squinted at her, mouth parted slightly in confusion as he looked her up and down. "Okay...but...is there a reason you look more stupid than normal?"

Her expression fell flat. "Have you never heard of Halloween?"

"Why would we celebrate a human holiday?"

"Why are you such a huge stick in the mud?" Moxy retorted, crossing her arms indignantly. "You wanted to celebrate Christmas this year. I think it's only fair we get to celebrate Halloween, too."

Lou couldn't keep a smirk off his face, putting a hand to his hip as he gestured to her costume with the other. "In all fairness, Christmas doesn't make people look stupid."

"You're just jealous I actually have a costume. What are you gonna be, huh? A business man?"

He raised a brow at her, expression falling slightly as he gave her an obviously sarcastic response. "I'll be the only one around here with any dignity, that's what I'll be." He crossed his arms, eyes closing briefly. "Besides, I doubt the others are gonna do something as ridiculous as this. Nolan and Mandy certainly won't."

Nolan looked extremely proud of his costume. He had a pointy hat on that was slightly too big for his head (stupid measurements hadn't been accurate), and a black cloak around his shoulders. His dress shirt was a dark red with a black vest over it and black pants. "You like? I'm a wizard," Nolan put his hands on his hips proudly. The pointy hat on his head fell over his eye a little in the process.

Lou scrutinized his outfit for a moment. "You look like a crossover between a vampire and a witch."

"First off: I'm not a witch. Women are witches. That's why I'm a wizard." Lou rolled his eyes. "Second: screw you." Nolan turned around, dramatically swooping his cloak around as well.

Lou shook his head, glancing over at Mandy and UglyDog. "And what are you two supposed to be?"

Mandy's was a little more obvious. She had a red cloak on, but it had a hood attached to it. She also had a red dress on that went down to her knees and knee-length boots. "I'm red riding hood, and UglyDog is the wolf."

UglyDog sat beside her feet, a wolf nose strapped to the front of his face. He looked up at Lou with a flat look, jerking his head up in a 'what's up' motion. "Woof."

Moxy bounded in front of Lou, arms spread out. "See? Halloween is fun! Now, come on, we gotta find you an outfit!" She grabbed him by the hand to drag him off somewhere.

"I am not dressing up as anything!" Lou protested, trying to dig his heels into the ground. It was a futile effort.

"Ooh! Ooh!" Nolan raised his hand with a grin, having an idea. "He could be Draco Malfoy."

"I can see it," Mandy agreed, grinning when Lou gave both of them a dirty look.

Moxy gasped and she looked at Lou with twinkling eyes, making him take a step back nervously. "I have the perfect idea."

Moxy had managed to coerce Lou into a Captain America costume, the only requirement was that he didn't have to wear the helmet. Lou stood there, arms crossed and an unamused look on his face. "I hate everything about this."

"Where's the shield?" Nolan inquired, circling around Lou as he took in the once-in-a-lifetime moment of Lou wearing anything other than his suit.

"We couldn't find one," Moxy shrugged.

Nolan ignored that comment in favor for giving the blond a sly look. "We actually missed out on an opportunity, come to think of it. We could have dressed you up as Pikachu since you have electric powers."

Yesterday, I had a dream that Angel was helping Buffy put out arson (during season seven? Or post-season seven when she's training the new Slayers?). But, like, Giles and Xander are convinced that he's the one setting the fires for some reason and that she should just stake him. And I think some of the new Slayers are, too. And Buffy's like, "That's ridiculous. And anyone who comes after Angel has to go through me first."

And since I'm sharing that dream, I guess I might as well mention some of the other Bangel (and Bangelus) dreams I've had that I haven't mentioned on this site yet. LOL Edit: Though before this dream became season seven or post-series, I was dreaming about season 1 stuff, and that there were episodes that very few people had gotten to see--because the network didn't like them as much or airing networks didn't like them as much, and I guess I was getting to see them.

There was this one where Angel had died, I think (probably after Not Fade Away), but there was a chance for him to come back. But The Powers That Be were wondering why anyone would even want that. And first Dawn, and then Buffy, were listing off all of his accomplishments as a Champion and what he had done for everyone as reasons. And I think Dawn in particular, as the Key, thought that if they didn't revive him, she could do it herself, with her Key powers (like, the dream was mostly Buffy listing Angel's accomplishments and wanting him back [though there was a little of Dawn doing so, too], but then Dawn basically being like, "Don't worry, sis, if they're still butts after all of this and won't help you, I've got your back.").

...

One was Buffy and Angel patrolling together around Christmas time... and for the occasion, Buffy decided to dress up like Santa Claus (without the beard). XD. And Giles was worried that Buffy might have trouble getting to her stake in time, and things like that, in that ensemble (though Buffy insisted that she was good), and Angel assured him that if that happened, he had her covered. LOL

...

And essentially, I had one where Buffy and Angel were in front of Sabrina Spellman's mirror, that was there before every episode of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch,"--that showed what outfit Sabrina would be in that episode. This one was really fun, and there were some hijinks there! I wish I remembered it more, but alas!

This one is a Bangelus one: Angelus is pretending to be Angel, and he and Buffy are together, and she's pregnant (I don't know if there's some prophecy about this, like maybe part of the reason Angelus is doing this, or not). Angelus might also be working for Wolfram & Hart in this dream, and is having his minions constantly watch Buffy to keep her and the baby safe... and she knows she's being tailed, and it annoys her to no end. And, of course, she eventually finds out that it's Angelus and sparks fly... and it's about this time that I woke up, and I kind of wish I hadn't, because I'd like to know where it would have gone.

But, anyway.

Edit: There was also one one time, where I was dreaming I was showing Buffy to my real life friend who's never seen the show: and it was an episode that doesn't exist (season one), where Angel was helping Buffy early on (before she knew he was a vampire). It was cool, and flirty (and Buffy was getting the biggest crush on Angel). I wish I remembered more about it, but it was cute.

I'm super curious about the fruit bat vampire WIP.

Sorry I took like bajillion years- I was going chronological order, and then some stuff happened irl :') and I might've made an artworks for it

HOWEVER, you chose a very nice (and extremely self indulgent) WIP even though its.. underdeveloped to say the least

Basically there was a dangerous witch/poe causing shenanigans and the colors were sent out to deal with it. The Poe or whatever definitely was setting up curses, although they don't know what the curses were intended to be.

During their battle with him, he ended up shooting Vio, even though Vio swung it back with the four swords (I mean it is a light magic sword). After the battle though, Vio just... didn't seem cursed at all. He was fine, so they all assumed that the curse didn't hit Vio at all.

But then the side effects started. Around the same time there were investigations on what the poe had actually been up to. Which was starting to look like some sort of evil transformation ritual. (the poe was probably trying to convert life force to magic, but they don't know that.)

Meanwhile, Vios become "ill" and he's sent to the castle infirmary, unable to eat foods (not even bread??), constant headaches from sounds and smells, looking pale, has a horrendous sleeping schedule, and- tiny claws and teeth. Confusion and... loss of speech? They realize this isn't a normal illness. There's a tainted magic in his blood. Slowly, yet surely infecting and warping him.

He's starving.

They put some dots together and well- Yeah he's like just becoming a straight up vampire isn't he?

And then let's just say within the next 24 hours not only has vio hissed and scratched a guard in the face, but he's also escaped and become. :) let us just say it like it is, "freaky as hell"

and well, to say they get some... divided responses... he might jump red at one point but well...

the truth of everything is that the poe was cursing people into animals, as a way to feast off of their misery. He was trying to turn vio into a bat (the bat being a fruit bat btw) but it only really hit him half way. So now he's taken on physical and mental traits of a bat without a full transformation.

theres a point where he jumps red who, earlier in the day, had spilled juice on himself (lil guy COULD NOT reach the highest shelf and it spilled on his head lol, he was in the kitchen stress baking because they forced him to rest)

They do eventually manage to figure it out (or Zelda does, she realizes that his behaviours are just like Jeremy's... If your'e confused, everyone else was too, she had to explain that when she was trapped under Vaati and Ganon and just fighting for her sanity because of the dark magic n etc, she became friends with a bat that lived there... and named him Jeremy. She is so sane and not effected by her time there, she was totally not shown horribly images of her kingdom falling and being manipulated and etc....)

Anyways there's also a thin where he experienced torpor (mini hibernation) once things chill the hell down lol, but the colors think he dead 0-0, this has spent too long in my drafts so I'm just gonna post it sorry for being 7 decades late

What costumes would DJATS characters wear for Halloween 1978?

Uhmm, cool one!!! Tough though. I pictured the shows actors and looks for this to work.

The band gets invited to a Halloween promo party at a Haunted mansión themed club party where everyone is presented the fancy way and like going down stairs, as everyone famous or cool IS going...Yeah so they have to be wearing a costume :

Lisa & Warren dresses as Gómez and Morticia Addams, he says that for once Gómez IS played by a latino. He keeps being disgustingly kissy all night long and throwing crass jokes.

Karen dresses in black leather trousers and almost seee through black shirt. She wears tons of makeup. She looks like a Barbie doll gothic edition. She wears red lenses and looks super sexy. Then just before the party she sprays herself with fake Blood and puts fake fangs...etc voila She's a Bloody Vampiress!

+ Graham dresses as a old time XIX cowboy, leather Duster jacket and everything , but Karen convinces him to be a bit more cool and terrifying, to match with her, so he puts some fake Blood on him on his neck and he brings his childhood fake toy gun and a spike , so now he IS a kinda punk Vampire Hunter cowboy. He looks amazing.

Camila dresses as a Vampire too, with sexy make Up (see Camila Morrone Nars Lipstick promo makeup) with a long flowy classy black dress and puts a very simple neck two fangs wounds. She sews a tiny black Witch dress with shiny bits,very pretty, 20's like gown for Julia, with a hat and everything, the hat part IS constantly rejected by Julia , that has other plans...and throws a tantrum until she gets to...wear a red wig, to be dressed as Daisy.

Billy Finally convinces Julia to be a Mini redhead Witch , so both his Girls are Happy. Julia gets the wig, but throws her hat all the time, Camila seems content, but is slightly sad and holds Julia's hat all the time she throws it away . Only just with the shiny black dress (that looks eerily very similar to the dying on the shower Daisy's outfit) she totally traumatises (unwillingly) Billy (for obvious ptsd reasons).

Speaking about the devilBilly...He hates this kinds of things, he always dress as himself with a sticker putting : Myself or alt "RockStar" or "Julia's Dad " "Camis husband" "Graham bro" "Daisy's Shithead"...Etc XD.

This year, and after :

1- Daisys jocking taunting him about last years non effort crappy costumes (75' 76' and 77' previous home parties).

2- Camila's sadness over the hat she made for Julia

and

3 - Julias tantrum.

He , for once, says fuck It! , and makes a Halloween effort, and a great one. He buys a profesional costume like those wore by actors. He looks sexy , regal like he just came out of the XIX century... And he dresses as a Classy regency Vampire, He even cuts his hair shorter just before the party, like when he was twelve, because Camila had told him that He would look super cute like that now too, to surprise her and make her Happy, after Julia's drama. Then he puts into good use the new beard he was growing (my inspo was thirsting over Sam dressed as Edmond Dantes at some of The Count of Montecristo promo pics and It showed XD). Also he wears fake fangs and a bit of fake Blood on his lower lip. He looks like The sexiest™.

Simone accompanies Billy for the surprise to her old time expensive costume store , and she dresses as a old time Queen Voodoo Witch (picture Marie Laveau) She looks like a queen (like always).

Bernie and Eddie dresses as a pair of terryfying realistic Zombies, as they both went to remind Daisy about the party (Bernie ordered by Simone and Eddie by Rod) ; then she uses them as her Makeup Guinea pigs... And gives them some clothes - that the lousy Nicky left forgotten at her House after the breakup- covered in strawberry Jelly. Then she creates fake wounds on both of them with melted cheese sheets and makeup on their skins, to create realistic fake wounds that seems ripped chomps of skin and meat. The both look like munched corpses. They scare themselves and the others. Simone IS super traumatised for Bernie. They are delighted if cheesy smeling XD. Warren jokingly steals one wound from Eddie and eats It. Everyone goes eew!!!

Rod dressed as Drácula a la Bela Lugosi. Super dapper.

Teddy dresses as an ancient Warlock, like Gandalf lord of the rings book drawings.

Daisy comes 2h'30 mins late, everyone thinks she forgot...and to be honest she kinda did forget about the party the first 30 min , until she got reminded by her dear zombies XD

But nope, shell be the Halloween Queen , she IS secretly that "unhinged for Halloween" group friend who likes to traumatise the rest,. She puts a super sexy silky White dress (inspo IS a dress Riley wore once silky and White) , but as she has inherited her father artistic drawing talent , she draws wounds on herself too, she puts something sticky red on those face and arms wounds, and some Green juice too, then she wets and messies her hair too, and goes shoeless...As adult Regan from the exorcist.

Also - as the dramatic little shit she is (affectionately)- She enters the party doing theatrics mimicking the unfamous stairs scene (those artistic gymnastic classes paid by her parents should be put on good use right?) Almost everyone feels like fainting or gets trauma wide mouthed, then as she stoods Up, Daisy just evil laughs...XD

Only one not traumatised , Its tiny Julia, who inmediatelly goes to Daisy hugs her and ask her if she likes her costume . Daisy praises Julias costume, as her "Kid self" was a terrifying little Monster, and after watching Camila holding the hat and Billy trauma face when watching Julia, she convinces Julia into wearing the hat and of being Witchy Baby!Daisy , as she always wanted to be a Witch as a kid. Camila silently thanks her. Billy seems relieved.

Julia then slightly concerned asks Daisy if she got chickenpox " like I did when I started school" and then scrached like she did XD

Billy almost dies of laughter after that.

Everyone relaxes then and has a great time.

Julia wins the costumes kids award of the party as Mini Daisy.

Simone wins best female costume. Billy Its tied with Graham as co winners for male costumes. Daisy wins the best scare /scary time , but never gets invited again to the club party, as the old owner almost got a Heart attack XD

She then start a tradition of making a Halloween party at her House... Everyone Its terrified to go (sauf Julia, brave little nugget she IS).

As an Adult Julia grows even more unhinged than Daisy for Halloween...Dressing as Samara from the Ring or as La Llorona and keeps jumping from corners !!! Billy IS very afraid of her during that week and blames everyone for it. Camila shrugs It off, she's used to that dumbasery already XD.

Are The Lost Boys Poly or Platonic?

Answer - Yes?

If I could lore dump a little, I'd like to add after seeing discussion on this topic:

When I created my trio of lost boys ocs (Blair Stevie and Mavin) to write a love story between them +star and the boys, I thought making them all poly would be more interesting to write about. See I don't much care for writing and art that involved the boys all sharing a single (usually woman) stand in where all the romantic stuff is done by one or more boy at a time with this stand in while the others just kinda wait their turn. OC, self-insert, reader insert or otherwise. It always came off to me as harem-ish and there's nothing wrong with that OF COURSE, it's just not what I'm into.

And with my ocs specifically, I also could have gone the hetero monogamous route, since there are 4 women and 4 boys. That being Blair with David, Stevie with Dwayne, Star with Paul (which I really do ship btw), and Mavin with Marko but the lost boys always had this queer coded side (even though I am shipping them with women) and having my girls, Blair specifically being a bisexual women who falls in love with Star is something I wanted to focus on, not to mention I like my ocs with all the boys. I think they can get a different equal level of romantic enjoyment with a different boy, and therefore my girls are poly with the boys as well as Star. Standard convention of romance kinda seems like a nebulous rule to follow when you have immortal vampires and witches in the mix, so why not make them all bi and poly?

Now of course, I do have a story in the works where everyone is one big platonic family. Judy and her daughters. 'The blood sucking brady bunch' as I've so affectionally called them. In this work, Judy and Max are romantically involved but they're the only non platonic ones as the boys acting as Max's sons and Judy's actual daughters begin to pal around like step siblings and they behave as such. In that work, I also put a lot of emphasize on familial love with Judy being a caring mother who would do anything for her children and having her take in the boys as sons she never had. I also want to see Judy pull Max out of his shell. He kinda distances himself from the boys and to him it's for their own good and keeps him out of the trouble they're always getting into, but Judy knows what's it like having 3 teenage daughters of her own that get into trouble. Max is a much more involved father figure to the boys with Judy's help as well as a figure to her little girls.

Ok, so I dumped a lot there, but I hope this shows that writing to boys platonic or non platonic are both valid and depend on the work they're used in. XD

Hi my name is Blu Dark’ness Dementia Raven Bushie and I have dirty strawberry blonde hair with purple streaks and red tips that is in a mullet and light blue-grey eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like Sniper TF2 (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Moxxi Borderlands but I wish I was because she’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a vampire but my teeth are straight and white. I have pale white skin. I’m also a witch, and I go to a magic school called Hogwarts in England where I’m in the seventh year (I’m 23). I’m a bushman (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly flannel. I love walmart and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a red flannel shirt with the first few buttons undone and a brown cargo pants, a Marine Corps KA-BAR on my left hip in the sheathe attached to my belt and dingo (cowboy) boots. I was wearing shooting glasses, a leather hat with a crocodile tooth band, a crocodile tooth necklace and holding my pre-64 Winchester Model 70. I was walking outside Hogwarts. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of preps stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

“Hey Blu!” shouted a voice. I looked up. It was…. sniper tf2!

“What’s up sniper?” I asked.

“Nothing.” he said shyly.

But then, I heard my friends call me and I had to go away.

Well, the very beginning of my story was written when I was in a very bad place in life. Andy (guy with blue hair in the post you commented on) was my way to live out a life I could never have. The character wanted kids, and as I was committed to write his every day life in real time format, but I wasn't committed to write a story with kids taking real life time to grow up. Imagine writing a kid growing up from day one and 18 years ahead in time, who can commit to 18 years of writing a child aging? And Andy wanted kids, lots of kids. So, I simply decided that kids would be able to age in an unnatural way. I originally started writing my story, as a small funtime project with a friend, she had a character whom was a vampire, so supernatural stuff had already been a part of my story, it felt natural to simply roll with that. That way, I both in game and in my written story, didn't have to deal with kids taking forever to age up. In my story kids take roughly 1 year to age from infant to adult, but time can depend a bit on outside circumstances such as the environment or the individual child. In my story men can also get pregnant in various supernatural ways. Furthermore, one kid can have more than 2 parents. Again it's supernatural, I don't mind elaborating if you wish, but I'll leave it at this for now, since it's already becoming a long answer, I have demons, summoners, shapeshifters, witches and other kinds of supernatural beings in my story, and also humans that are simply immortal. So Andy ass you see, is technically 39, and his daughter is technically from 2016 or 2017 I think? But her current age translates into roughly 28-29-ish. Willow's "mother", is technically also a man, named Congo. Supernaturals and humans coexist in my story, but most humans don't know about the supernatural world. Also there's more focus on none supernatural stuff in my story/pics, which is probably why I can still get an answer like this, even after so many years on Tumblr XD There's many layers to my story/characters/universe, and some are downright questionable, at best. I write a story/characters that I don't always agree with, but I like challenging myself as a writer and my own beliefs/mentality. But I don't shy away from questions, as long as people try to keep in mind my story is fiction. And not in anyway meant as a display on how real life should be. It's supernatural. Hi Nimo! I'm currently recovering from a bruise on my left hand, but not a big deal, truly! I took some meds and I'm almost fully healed! But now, to the ask box! You did it in time, so no worries! ~

I guess the must obvious trait of mine that I share with Veronna is the whole goth aesthetic. I stated that plenty of times that she dresses like she's from another era, and for me? That's a win! Corsets and historical clothes are part of her and I just can't see her without those! Ofc, KHR gives me more freedom with outfits and anything works for her, but in the end, Veronna screams elegance when it comes to goth references, so that's something I can't push aside!

Another thing I added was the subtle Pagan references! As a witch myself, I tend to add some bits of mythology into my characters, and with Veronna it's no different! Even if she's pretty much vampire-coded at first glance, she carries a bit of my craft as well! If I could compare her to a deity, the first thought would be Lilith, due to her alias, the "Devil of Venice". It's mostly about my knowledge rather than personality and appearance, and I found that pretty neat XD

I was a Percy Jackson kid in the late stages of high school, I jumped on the train late, and never finished. Trials of Apollo made me want to read them again--especially because of references that I just did not fully understand as it called back to other books XD Apollo is the character of all time though, love to see this man now boy go through it. If anyone had to be humbled, I'm glad it was him so he could become a good dad in the future and possibly pass that on to the other gods (x to doubt).

Some Faraway Place [Audio Book] - Lauren Shippen

I'm still a Rose un-enjoyer, but the book itself was incredibly enjoyable. It fed my Damien Enjoyer cravings, and Rose's story in and of itself is interesting, between her family and relationships, but I just... don't vibe with her. It's okay to not like people, she's one of them, I don't hate her. Gave me intense inspo for a TBS game.

Jackaby [Audio Book] - William Ritter

Jackaby was an incredibly interesting book. While I can't put this one into words, it was highly enjoyable, and the narration was top notch! Supernatural, and banshees, and werewolves oh my. A funky little Sherlock Holmes type.

Wicked Appetite [Audio Book] - Janet Evanovich

It had an okay concept! The narration made it extra hard, and I hated Dissel's personality. The gluttony charms (gluttonoids??) had awful effects, and sure it made sense but I didn't like them dfdgh. A one off read.

Bride [Unfinished] - by Ali Hazelwood

LMAO I, couldn't do it. They named the girl Misery and- Despite this books placement on the page, I'm pretty sure I bought this book in January and just couldn't get through it. And then I read the content warnings on the website at the end of the year and I cant believe they just had this one sitting in the front of Target like a prize...

The Hunger Games [Book and Audio Book interchangably]

This book was better than I remember and yet more emotional (for me) than I remember. Just getting through that first iconic scene of Katniss volunteering for Prim made me teary and emotional. The way they all banded together the moment she did, a silent act of solidarity. That in itself felt like the true first moment of rebellion in a way. It's terrible to think of, kids so young, going into an arena knowing they're bound to die. And the twist of them being told they could both live, only to have it snatched away--if it were Cato and Glimmer(?), there would have been no hesitation, only Katniss could come up with a stunt like that. The worldbuilding was great, and I know we see more of it in the next book, I just have to... get to it. I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE DOG PART, AND I'M STILL MAD ABOUT IT, WTF--Truly I must have blocked that part out. That was so rude dfghgj

Aisle Nine [Audio Book] - Ian X Cho

Black Friday apocalypse? Yeah. Post apocalyptic apocalyptic setting where the main characters are older teens working retail. The plot twist was interesting, the side characters were goofy (in a good way). A tale about hope in hopelessness, with a bit of that YA romance aspect sprinkled in. Wasn't *unbearable*, but end game was always apparent. I kept forgetting the MC's name throughout the story wheeeze (Sorry Casper- oop I mean Jasper). 

The Week Before [Dubiously Finished] - Scott Cawthon

Choose your own adventure of Ralph! Phone Guy gets a name! Phone Guy has a daughter,,, yeesh, poor guy. Fnaf's biggest fan and they did him dirty like this, can't believe.
