Autistic Anime Boys Prelims - Propaganda Division - Group 2
Propaganda:
Kyouya -
"what's there to say? you know him. you love him. vote kyoya."
Rinnosuke -
"Rinnosuke Morichika lives in an overly-cluttered curio shop, and has a special interest in making magical inventions. Since he doesn’t live in a modern setting— but a pocket dimension slightly disconnected to the outside world— whenever a modern item shows up in his shop via spiriting away, he can obsess over it for extended periods of time. He is quite blunt without realizing it, even to people he cares for. He also has a special ability to generally understand the name and use of any item he touches (though this backfires sometimes, he thought a Gameboy was a doomsday device once)."
Fuuta -
"okay look theres so many fucking signs hes autistic. he cannot tell tone and often doesn't know how to react to stuff which is a major point in his character id say. he was asked if he remembered his victim's name (hes a murderer. oops!) and his response was something along the lines of "Of course I do. I saw it everywhere." because he did not understand that they wanted to know what it was since it wasnt directly stated. im convinced that hoodies are a comfort object of his because i genuinely have not seen him without one except for one time. also hes canonically a chronically online twitter user. also he gets really passionate about his interests. also not really related but everyone in the fandom agrees hes transgender but no one can agree on what way. ive seen every single gender hc for this dude. vote kajiyama fuuta for this sopping wet poor little meow meow of a man."
Hansum -
"He's just a very odd and strange lad, can't remember names well, is an alien (mild spoiler), he's very popular, obsessed with Doritos and becomes their mascot, just refers to everyone as humans which is a mood, and is completely socially oblivious."
Miyuki -
"Relatable neurodivergent-Gifted Child syndromeTM case with all the superiority-inferiority complex that results. A chronic show-off and scheming strategist with a lowkey hopeless romantic dramatic aspect to him, silly cool and pathetic in a very hilarious way. Shirogane has a trademark glare purely thanks to his eyebags as he runs on coffee everyday having to support his family with multiple jobs in addition to class, on top of student council president duties. He's kind and an obsessive perfectionist who fills his entire wall with the weirdest motivational posters. Shirogane is very devoted to his love. He likes penguins (Kaguya and him is peak asd4asd and bi4bi btw)."
Kirito -
"He's autistic and bisexual as hell, and there's a good bit of trans coding in him 🥺
Autism coding: Bro's literally got a sword and swordfighting hyperfixation where, despite playing a game that focuses around guns, he still chooses to use a sword!! We also see him completely missing Asuna's flirting at first (he tells her she could have just checked her friendlist to make sure he was alive, in response to her tracking him down to see him)
Bi coding: Dual wielding swords is literally a euphemism in Japan for bisexuality; and Kirito initially tries to hide the fact he can dual wield out of fear of how the people he's close to will view him (and once he reveals it to them and they accept it, he begins to be more open about it.) Also in the Underworld arc he becomes very close with Eugeo to the point of living with him (and sharing a bed on occasion), and there are several parallels between Eugeo and Asuna, and they're so gay for each other that despite the anime having only a toned down version of it, they're still very affectionate (Also of note is that Eugeo is the only guy in SAO canon to consistently have a 'laying in bed with Kirito' talk CG in the spinoff games) (There's more but it's spoilers and this is a shortened version)
Trans coding: Kirito is very trans coded in the light novel (which shows Kirito's thoughts in much greater detail than the anime) Aincrad arc reveals that Kirito explicitly Does Not Like his real face, and dislikes how feminine it looks (he mentions that its led to him and his cousin being mistaken for sisters) And in Phantom Bullet arc, he's visibly uncomfortable at being mistaken for a girl due to his avatar's appearance, and in response to being misgendered he briefly panics and checks to make sure his chest flat (at least in the anime adaptation) 🏳️⚧️"
Shirou -
"Has one goal in life and ignores almost everything in favor of trying to fulfil that goal."
Keith -
"Speaks in a way that is seen as weird and has mannerisms others think is funny. He struggles with not being taken seriously by others because of this and many of the things others say goes over his head. He struggles to connect with other people because of these things. His entire arc in the second film is about him deciding that the people who don't accept him for who he is aren't worth it and that he's going to continue being himself."
Junpei -
"for other fans of this series, I know the more obvious representation here may be Luou, Junpei is So Good. his special interest is ballet and he has so many hangups involving how his family sees him and how other boys his age interpret him to the point that his idea of masculinity is extremely narrow and he enforces social rules on himself to mask and keep people from realizing that he loves something that Isn't Manly. he misinterprets social cues and takes things literally, like assuming that when Miyako asked him to dance with her she meant Right This Minute rather than as a pair in the studio. for some reason the point where he cuts his hair super short to prove his devotion to ballet is also sticking with me, I think maybe it's the combination of the way it's normal for boys/men in Japan to do that, yet Junpei didn't realize that kind of attitude/action didn't suit ballet at all? he wasn't aware that the context was completely different. Junpei also doesn't act or pretend very well, he's gotta put his whole entire ass into his roles, which he then proceeds to get TOO into and cause a lot of trouble, without giving too much away! he's really relatable to me as someone who's socially anxious but very skilled at masking, and seeing him become more comfortable with himself and start to show how he really feels is so inspiring to me."
Kazuma -
"He may be (wildly) misguided but his intentions are good kinda! He’s just the Guy of all time idk how to explain it."

As said yes when i asked my new moot @tubvoids,here is why Percy is autistic and in fact, objectively the most autistic-coded character in the entire franchise!
'Troubled kid' literally just means 'autistic kid who faces peer abuse and even adult abuse for it'.It's Percy's entire character and lingers into his adulthood
Was a bully beater and stayed that way no matter how many times he got expelled
Ass at school but really smart in every other area
Has his intellegence insulted nonstop his whole life and just takes it despite what a strong backbone he has because he thinks he deserves it
Anger issues and general emotional regulation issues
Mama's boy who's mom dosen't quite always understand how he works or why he is the way he is but loves and is good to him anyway and considers his differences from normal people a gift instead of a flaw or something that needs to be 'cured'
Canon safe food(blue food)and Resting Bitch Face(the 'scary default expression' he inhereted from Poseidon)
Dosen't even try to understand social norms because he thinks they're stupid as fuck
Super kind and earnest in a way that gets on normies' nerves both in-universe and irl because they think he's 'corny' and 'unrealistic'
Has a beyond weird as all fuck sense of humor that's just natural instead of actively trying to be funny and always lands
Wears layers/heavy clothes all the time
Complex feelings on morality leaning towards chaotic good but he's done some fucked up shit that was technically justified in the contexts but beats himself up over anyone even though the others deserved it
Dated Rachel because she made him feel normal for once and he specified what made him love her was her brutal honesty and enthutiasm that gave way for healthy communication on both ends
Hates traditional masculinity and wants to be free of it and acts a lot like a trans femme egg, including finding hypermasculinity on men gross and unappealing and often wonders what makes people attracted to boys(Gender fuckery and also even just binary transfeminity are common combos with autism)
Very goofy, silly, chaotic and unrestrained with kiddy interests and a digust towards 'true maturity' but also loves punk shit
Can never tell when someone is attracted to him but when he loves them back he's Rizz City
Anarchist who hates the rich, privilege and power and does activism and direct action both in the mythos world and the mortal world(the former onscreen/the aformentioned bully beating and implied to participate with Rachel in her protests and charity events)
Gets along so well with younger people he basically adopts them as younger siblings and pseudo-kids(P*rcico shippers please stop being jesters,Nico and Percy are peak transmasc 4 transfem and autistic 4 autistic found family realness, they're the BLUEPRINT for it and y'all wildin' for thinking Hazel's not autistic too like hellooooooo she's literally a creepy cute middle school weirdgirl who was outcasted from other kids, even the fellow black ones?Ofc she's autistic)
Dare i say.The fandom's denial of his blatant autism is in of itself proof he HAS autism and is audhd. They're always calling him stupid and insisting it's meant affectionaly when he's stated a millions of times he does NOT like it,they turn his special interests that's so important to him for coping growing up and now too into him being a childish ass mf with no culture(that is also racist with how popular afrolatino Percy but they don't care just like they don't care about making him actually look black lmao),defang his anger issues and meaness and brutality and anti-authority mentality to turn him into nothing but an idiot and give all the credit to Annabeth(and that's misogynistic cause it makes her boring)and finally infantalizing him as if HE'S not fatherly one in the mcs.I don't even mean making him younger,i mean making him act like a little kid and his friends literally parenting him. It's all textbook rethoric and bullying tactics to irl autistic people and they only say he's allistic so they don't gotta feel bad instead of growing tf up and being nice to mentally disabled folks they can't relate to perfectly and to develop senses of humor outside of John Mulaney bits
Is literally the protagonist of a book series that's ultimate purpose is representation for neurodivergent kids as their role model that grows up with them and showed us we can live good lives like he is now????????The idea of allistic Percy is genuinely incomprehensible ong
'Good Kid' from the musical?Yeah,it's literally a song about an autistic kid who can't mask and gets abused by everybody for it no matter how hard they try to be good
I'm exactly like Percy Jackson and always have been and i'm autistic. So,autistic Percy Jackson is canon.End👏🏼Of👏🏼Discussion!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

OCD in Hello Charlotte 3, or why Charles Eyler doesn't (necessarily) have Dissociative Identity Disorder
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR HELLO CHARLOTTE 3
CONTENT WARNING: Discussions of severe mental illness, including intrusive thoughts and psychosis. Please be warned if this may cause you to spiral out of control, and take care of yourself.
DISCLAIMER: A lot of this is coming from my personal experience and understanding of OCD. While I do not experience DID, I don't really focus much on it in this, more reframing Scarlett Eyler as a character. You can take Charles' experiences however you feel is accurate.
I feel like the fandom gets tripped up when Charles calls Scarlett Eyler a tulpa.
I've seen a lot of people state that this quote directly implies Charles has DID, and that's therefore canon. But I'd actually like to propose a different take, that Scarlett is a physical manifestation of Charles' intrusive thoughts.
First of all, a tulpa implies a sense of desire - it is willingly created through spiritual meditation. Scarlett is, in no way, a desired existence that haunts Charles. There is some debate as to whether or not the game was originally in Russian or English, but regardless, tulpa just may be what Charles refers to the phenomenon as. It's not as if this directly confirms anything, as we know in-game Charles is only diagnosed with autism, and takes medication for psychosis.
Charles experiences many symptoms of OCD, contamination OCD in particular. He is intensely preoccupied with purity and disease, insisting that the majority of the population has a "parasite", aside from a select few people (Vincent being one of them, and by the end, the only one).
OCD and psychosis have several unique overlaps when acting as comorbid conditions. It has a relatively high comorbidity, due to both conditions often suffering with heightened paranoia. I couldn't find any research which suggests it can cause the hallucination of intrusive thoughts, but OCD does make people more susceptible to hallucinatory disorders, and vice versa.
Many people with OCD, especially those who have experienced symptoms since being a child, start to conceptualise these thoughts as a being - appearing as imaginary friends which act and react negatively. It definitely happened to me - I genuinely thought I had DID for a year or so of my life, because I had this voice in my head that hated me, and it didn't feel like myself. As a child, it just felt like my own mind was trying to bully me, and I didn't understand why.
We know that Scarlett Eyler is the instigator of "punishment" for Charles' actions...
This sort of "punishing" is very reminiscent of OCD. The rule-breaking itself is confusing to an outsiders, and the punishments even more so. However, I find this rule-and-punishment system very relatable, and I'd argue that some people with OCD might have even more confusing rules and punishments - for example, I can't watch very specific youtube videos, I can't explain what the rules I have surrounding them are, and I have strange punishments for this (that which I will not disclose).
Scarlett also doesn't exhibit typical alter behaviour. She never takes over, Charles doesn't seem to lose time, she does little more than act as a harsh observer, and also physically threaten Charles. She seems very real to him, aside from the fact that he knows taking pills will make her "disappear".
For Charles, Scarlett is simply a being who threatens and instigates intrusive thoughts, but in a particular way. Charles still experiences other intrusive thoughts - Scarlett never discusses the parasites, even though that's a very prevalent fear of Charles'.
Scarlett is the manifestation of intrusive thought that Charles is a failure, rather than being a separate existence to Charles.
my little rat analysis lmaoooo. this was my first hello charlotte one, i've always loved charles, he's just peak gender in so many ways, incredibly relatable.
hope your little polycule goes well salutes

Hi MeowMeow Costume anon here sorry it’s taken a couple days for me to reply life got busy finding one’s honour is harder then I thought!
You want my autistic head canons for Zuko? Strap in for some unhinged rambling because I have ✨thoughts✨ this will be long
(CW: implied child abuse (Fuck Ozai))
Zuko likes music (Iroh mentiones he’s talented with the Tsungi horn) and his swords I also think he would have picked up dancing at some point with how he moved during dance of the dragons.
When he’s around people he trusts he emotes more with his face and masks less in general and I’d say if he felt safe enough he’d do more overt (for him) stimms like humming, minor rocking or tugging on his hair Iroh would be one of his safe people and eventually the gaang would be too
*I don’t think he’d have very obvious stimms in general being raised royal he’d be expected to act a certain way and hand flaps are not it. Also flaming 💩lord Ozai would have seen any aberrations as weakness and stamped that shit out fast
*I honestly think it could be one of the reasons the flaming 💩lord despises Zuko being inherently different would be a weakness in his eyes and reflect badly on him
I think he and May get along well because they’re both autistic and are a safe space for each other. she has trouble processing her emotions he has trouble controlling his they make good emotional counter balances
He cares so much about the people and animals around him even his enemies a strong sense of justice is a common sign of autism and speaking out of turn was the initial reason for his banishment.
He’s so socially awkward he doesn’t know how to talk with people instead of at them his entire pep talk to himself and subsequent introduction to the gaang when he tries to join them is peak “how do you do fellow kids” and his that’s rough buddy” is as iconic as it is socially inept.
The guy totally hyper fixated on hunting the Avatar and when he could no longer find his purpose in it and realised he was wrong he did not cope
He has no tackt. none. and he takes things at face value and he hates lying his humour is also a little left leaning and he tries to relate to others and their experiences as a way of bonding.
While he’s not a prodigy fire bender like his sister he found ways around his limitations that helped accentuate his natural talents like his sword fighting (dancing would help with sword work) being incorporated into his bending (I don’t remember any other character bending with weapons).
He’d know a lot about tea from Iroh and I think he enjoyed working in the tea shop
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk!
I hope these make sense it’s kinda late now but this was fun to write thanks for reading my insane rambles :D
Also in response to the (non gendered) Prince! line you gave me so much surprise gender euphoria I cried 😭🫠🥹 sincerely thank you. I’m going with he/him pronouns atm but he/they is something I want to look into.
if you don’t mind me asking what are your pronouns?
I’ll probably send another ask in the next couple of days to annoy you with lol but in the meantime have a great day!
Sorry I took so long to get back to this, but damn I needed it today so I guess it's good I kept this in reserve. ❤
Holy shit, I can't unsee Zuko as autistic now. Like it's impossible. He's so perfectly coded to be on the spectrum. He's generally monotone, until he's not, and that's always when he's dealing with big emotions. He'd be a lip biter for sure.
Zuko doing dance as a stim 😍 the first time the Gaang sees him dancing when he thinks he's alone, they'd be so supportive, and have no idea what that would mean to him.
Fire lord Zuko infodumping about tea to some random person who tried to ask if he'd like them to make him some, as he heats the tea himself with his bending, and damn if that isn't the best tea that servant has ever had in their life.
Until next time my non gendered Prince Zuko! (Which will be in like, a few minutes, when I get to your other ask. Again sorry for the wait 😭 I'm bad at this)

Do you think you could be autistic? No hate just wondered as I am too and I relate to a lot of what you say
Oh my anonymous friend, you don't know the can of worms you have opened haha. I am going to ramble here so just be prepared for that.
When I was little my mum did actually think I might be autistic. Predominantly because I played in an unusual way. I would line my toys up on the window sill and my grandmother's display cabinet thing. I would get furious at people if they moved my toys because they all had their own spot. And the only time I touched the toys was to move them from the cabinet (their home) to the window (the school). The rest of the time I would just stand still, stare at the toys, and wiggle my fingers. They called it "zizzing" - now it's called stimming, I guess - and they knew that was a sign of autism so my mum and my grandmother did wonder about it. But I had two things going against me: I was a girl and I was born in the early 90s. This was during the peak of the idea autism was the "extreme male brain." It was seen as being predominantly a male diagnosis. You probably know that. And there wasn't much understanding so our reference point would be people like our family friend who always looked at the ground, was obsessed with trains, had limited speech and would scream if anyone tried to touch him. Whereas while my family were still thinking about the autism thing I started school and I was academically strong, I had a small group of close friends and at the time - because of the gender disparity - girls only really got diagnosed with autism if they had some kind of very obvious speech delay, they weren't doing well at school, they had no social connections with their peers at all etc. So basically everyone just forgot about it. I got called a drama queen a lot, that was it.
Fast forward to my teens and my mental health was really bad. It got worse at university because I didn't have the routine and structure of school, I didn't have my mum cooking and buying food etc. I was diagnosed initially with depression and anxiety. After a while it was clear that wasn't right so after much fighting I got a diagnosis for Borderline Personality Disorder. Now you may know this but there is an overlap in BPD and autism symptoms and women are often misdiagnosed with BPD later in life because as children their autism wasn't picked up (because diagnostic criteria is still geared towards how it presents in boys and psychologists and psychiatrists don't always delve into motivations and thought processes). I found that out in my mid 20s but thought "nah I probably don't have it, I don't have special interests and I don't struggle with x, y and z." However, my mum became really interested in BPD after I was diagnosed and did loads of research, listened to podcasts on it. And she told she was listening to one podcast where someone was diagnosed with BPD but then they discovered it was actually autism. My mum said to me that the way she described herself in childhood was exactly how I behaved, as if I'd been the one speaking. And so that got me thinking and that's where I have been stuck over the last few years. I debate with myself constantly what's going on in my brain and I truly don't know. I regularly have epiphanies where I think "oh that thing I've done all my life is incredibly autistic." But then I think maybe it's actually BPD. And I just go round and round.
I identify as neurodivergent, regardless of what diagnosis I have. Some neurodivergence paradigms do recognise severe mental illnesses like BPD anyway, but I've realised that if you put aside the BPD I still have chronic problems with ordinary tasks and situations. And I used to think it was just because I was young but I'm 31, almost 32, and it isn't normal to take 3 months to make one phone call because you just can't make yourself do it! Most people don't find it this hard to take basic care of themselves.

Company onboarding:
Attribute theft, size changing, breast expansion, bimboification, retroactive reality changes, minor personality changes,
Cusi was on her pad doing her onboarding process for Knight's Industriws while her girlfriend Khadija worked on the list of groceries. She was so excited to work for the Goddess of Love. Years of studying business, working endlessly in offices and now she was finally able to work from home making so much more. As long as she deciphered these confounded onboarding questions.
The first question had a list of different letters and some of the letters were doubles and even triple letters.
A, B, C, D, DD, E, G, GG, GGG, were all options that were available. No question nor context given. So at random she chose A and she got a pop up.
At Knights Industries we value initiative and going above and beyond. Are you certain you want the bare minimum or do you want to do the bare maximum? It asked
"Oh. I get it now." Cusi giggled not sure where the giggle came from. So she selected G from the list.
Cusi adjusted her sweater. It felt too tight over her big boobs. Her light pink bra comfortably holding the large breasts as Khadija snuck a peak at Cusi.
"You doing okay?" She asked glancing at her girlfriend's breasts as Cusi giggled and squeezed them together.
"I'm fine I just figured out the first step now I can keep going." She said enjoying the fact that Khadija was starring at her maybe she would take a break with Khadija soon.
The next question had more numbers and apostrophes. Cusi wasn't very good at numbers. She did graduate at the top of business class but those were business numbers. These were different types of numbers.
0' 6", 1' 6", 2' 6", 3' 6", 4' 6", 5' 6" 6' 6", and 7' 6".
Well clearly they wanted her to go big so she went big. She clicked 7' 6".
Cusi's sweater was gone now. She wasn't sure where she got the idea that she had a sweater. She was too big to wear sweaters and most clothing. It cost her a near fortune just to afford underwear and torn pants from Goodwill that couldn't quite reach her hips. She took a break and went to the kitchen and when she came back she saw Khadija starring.
"Like what you see Dija?" She said jiggling and squeezing her breasts right in front of her Muslim girlfriend. She enjoyed making her flustered but Khadija knew what she was getting into when she asked Cusi out when Cusi could barely wear clothes which went hand in hand with her attention and exhibition kinks.
But she was happy to keep it private for Khadija.
"Just a few more questions cutie and these are all yours." She said as she pressed her breasts to Khadija's face.
"Good girl you're such a good girl. Thank you for supporting a dummy like me. I'll reward you later." Cusi cooed as she sat at the table now built for her height while Khadija looked so small in her seat.
"Are you a veteran or have you served in the military?" The question asked. While Cusi served about a year due to the draft she wouldn't count it as a veteran so she pressed no. And then her experience in the military disappeared.
She no longer had military discipline, she no longer had those memories. And she didn't know what she was missing.
"Do you have any disabilities?" The next question asked. Cusi had a severe food allergy but she knew if she said yes it would hurt her chances so she selected no.
Now Cusi found herself snacking on a candy bar. She didn't know why she thought she had a food allergy she always loved trying new food with Khadija.
"Do you have autism?" She selected no. There was a sudden pop up.
"This cannot be changed." So she was given another chance but the no option was grayed out so she chose yes.
Gender: was a selection and she chose female.
Finally came to the tax form. Which had a binary choice.
"Do you want to get paid taxes or pay taxes?" It asked and Cusi didn't have an answer.
"Um Dee? Can you help me this question is really hard?" She asked her girlfriend who came over and she tried explaining it to Cusi but she didn't get it so Khadija offered to tell her what options to choose.
"Thanks Di you're the best." Cusi said as she tried to read over what was on the screen but the words felt wrong and hard to read but Khadija told her what to fill in.
Finally there was a choice of "compensation" and Khadija eagerly chose immediately.
"There you go. You're all done."
"I have a big job there?" Cusi asked excited while Khadija shook her head.
"No you silly girl. You're too dumb to work an executive job. You didn't graduate high school let alone college. I am the business major with a year of being a military captain. So that was my job you just helped me with." Khadija said while Cusi was confused.
"But I thought I was ap... appl... getting job?" She asked Khadija who shook her head extremely confident.
"Sweet Cusi. You're beautiful but you're so dumb. It's why I fell in love with you. You don't have any formal job experience. After graduation we stayed girlfriends and you've been my assistant the entire time. Not a very good assistant because you can barely read. But my favorite assistant because you give me a lot of head and your titties are fun to touch."
She said reaching out to grab Cusi's breasts that were the same height as her face.
Cusi relaxed hearing Khadija's words.
"So let's head to the bedroom and celebrate." Khadija said as she lead her much taller girlfriend into the bedroom.
Two new applicants for Knight's Industries have been accepted. A C level position and her assistant. When filling out onboarding be aware of what happens when you say you're a confident leader who takes what she wants.
And don't let anyone else do your onboarding.
Bimboification may occur.

OK SO APH/ZANE/AARON IS THE POLYCULE EVER AND YOU CAN'T CHANGE MY MIND
I have a little MyStreet rewrite cooking in my head that’s got this pretty prominently so yeah! Anyways have some HCs!!!
Aaron
Acts like he’ll kill you, is actually a cinnamon roll
People thinks he’s smart, but it’s just because he’s really quiet
He’s actually really fucking dumb /affectionate
Has a very weezy laugh
He/she/they, though most people use he
(Considering having him FTM He/Him but I can’t decide)
Didn’t really know much about gender and sexuality and stuff instill his sister came out as lesbian and she gave him a crash course
Used to struggle with internalized homophobia thanks to her dad being an ass but is now very comfortable in his own skin
Love language is physical touch and is chronically touch deprived, especially due to their years of isolation (just like me fr)
Intimidating when you first meet him, but I can guarantee you he’s secretly shitting his pants out of fear
A.K.A Social Anxiety Prime
RBF
Is such a worry wart, especially towards Zane and Aphmau
Used to have consistent nightmares, but ever since sharing a bed with Zane and Aphmau, they’ve pretty much stopped
On top of physical touch, he likes to do small acts of service
If either of his partners have a nightmare, she holds them through it and wakes up early the next day so that way they wake up to hot cocoa with cinnamon and a splash of vanilla extract
His favorite food is anything with Cinnamon!
Aphmau
Acts like a cinnamon roll, will actually kill you
“Excuse me they asked for no pickles”
A plus sized queen!
She/Her but prefers masculine descriptors i.e. sir, Mr, boyfriend (looks pointedly at her being called the lord of phoenix drop rather than the lady)
Is super sweet and helpful unless you tick her off or mess with friends, at that point, may God bless your soul
Love language is acts of service and gift giving!!
This is super evident in MCD and it peaks through in Mystreet as well! So that definitely stays
Has a tendency to give too much and burn herself out
Anytime she finds a cool rock she has to keep it
Her giving you a rock is a big deal! It means she cares a lot, enough to give it away
Due to growing up poor she has a tendency to stock up on non perishable food and stress if they don’t have enough
Definitely had a crush on Katelyn when they were younger, it passed with time though
Is really smart common sense wise, really into logic puzzles and stuff
She knows everything. Your secret? I think you mean our secret.
Less so with book smarts but give her time and let her put what she needs to know in song form and she’s got it
ADHD
How does she learn these secrets? Well that’s between her and God
Her favorite food is Mangos and Mochi anything!
And last but certainly not least, Zane!
Looks like he’ll kill you, and depending on the day, he’ll either kill you or actually be a cinnamon roll
Was raised with ye old fashioned toxic masculinity drilled into his head by Garte leaving him really insecure about his gender and gender expression
Around college, he started coming more into his own and wearing makeup out and about (all of this up to now is p much cannon btw)
The divergence come when he also starts experimenting in other ways to like sometimes wearing skirts and the occasional dress
It still takes years for them to stop bringing an extra pair of more masculine clothes with him in case he gets too stressed or sees someone in public
They/He but doesn’t mind the occasional she
Asexual
While he really loves the colors pastel pink and purple, he still mainly wears black with those as accents
Has a backpack/bag they take EVERYWHERE
Going out? Take the bag. Going on a trip? Take the bag. Leaving the room? Take the bag.
Mans could survive the apocalypse with all the stuff he keeps in there. I’m taking sewing thread and needles, bandaids, Neosporin, fidget, toys, stuff, to doodle with, a book for when he gets bored, headphones, etc.
Has Autism
MLP Special Interest
Has emotional support Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle figurines in their bag (they remind him of Aaron and Aphmau respectively)
Mainly does vocal Stims but is not immune to hand flap propaganda
Sensory adverse (that’s what the point of the mask usually is)
Loves his mom very much, even if she can be a bit loud
Daddy issues, him and Aaron bond over this
His love language is quality time and gift giving (they regularly steal one of their father’s credit cards) (Garte has barely noticed)
Is the type to quietly sit beside or across from one of his partners when their stressed, maybe give them one of his hands and be a quiet comfort as he scrolls on the Internet, showing them cat videos/my little pony art
That or be like “You’re sad” throw a change of clothes at them and say “Get up we’re going to Olive Garden, don’t worry I’m paying”
Notices when his friends/partners look at something too long and you can bet your bippy that you’ll be receiving that during your next birthday/Christmas or maybe just tomorrow if he can’t wait
Honestly very book smart, he just doesn’t mention it
Has a PHD, though no one but Aphmau knows of what, the whole friend group have a betting pool on what it is and who will find out first (Aphmau didn’t count, she knows everything)
Loves hyperpop
Favorite Food is the pink Monster Energy Drink, dw that that’s not actually food

TARANZA FOR THE ASK GAME EEHEHEH
YEAH LET'S GO
once again. gonna be long.
Sexuality headcanon:
Bisexual. He's bi your honour.
Gender headcanon:
Trans man once again. Once again because I like projecting onto my faves.
A ship I have with him:
Sectaranza can be cute pre-TDx before the mirror. I like the idea of things going to shit and Taranza knowing this has gone bad but he's just desperately clinging to any sliver of hope just in the hopes that maybe, just maybe she can get better again. The angst potential with this ship is just *chefs kiss* and yknow I gotta think about that at all times.
Like I said in my Magolor post, I think magoranza is very nice too but it's not really my thing.
Taranza and Daroach. I just think they have a fun dynamic. I don't even know if they have a ship name but yeah.
A BROTP with him:
Wave 3 trio as a friend group is just peak. Their dynamic is just so fun.
Also Taranza and Flamberge. I have no real reason for this I just think it's a fun duo. This started as a joke and then I thought about it more and it became my favourite kinda-joke things.
A NOTP with him:
Don't really actively dislike any ships for him. I mean I'm sure I could think of some if I went really deep but I don't care enough yknow.
Random headcanon(s):
Dropping more than one again because this seems to be a pattern for me.
Autism once more. Projection is a fun time.
He uses reading glasses for his upper eyes.
His scarf was once Sectonia's. He wears it post-TDx to remember her by.
He's VERY sentimental.
Opinion of him:
Very good character with interesting motivations and a deeply tragic story in TDx. A solid 9/10. Subtracting a point for the bowlcut and having SO MANY HANDS it's such a pain positioning them all when I draw him. (lighthearted)

argyle is the second oldest, his elder brother oliver is in college outta state, so argyle spends a lot of his free time looking after his younger siblings, when he's not hanging with jonathan or working. his mom works two jobs, his dad works construction and is often away for weeks at a time wherever the work is, he's first generation mexican-american, born and raised in lenora hills, CA, his parents moved to california when they were pregnant with his older brother, because of that argyle feels a little lost culturally sometimes. he has a good relationship with his mama, and loves her so much, he loves his dad too but his dad doesn't have such an active role since he is away working a lot, and is more of a man of few words, but he's kind and loving, and also where argyle gets his autism from.
argyle is autistic but undiagnosed, lord knows being one of four kids is expensive as shit, and diagnosis is an expense his parents simply couldn't afford, although his mama is very aware her son is sensitive and different from most other kids his age, and she very much tried to protect him from the bullies when he was a little kid. since he was the kid that never got invited to birthday parties, the kid that people would tease and make fun of, and argyle would a lot of the time think they were his friends.
argyle is all about the free love movement of the sixties and doesn't subscribe to labels, he likes who he likes, and it doesn't matter what they have in their pants, they're more of a vibes over looks type of person, they appreciate honesty, loyalty and kindness in people over anything else.
he obviously enjoys getting high, but never does it around his younger sibings, its his relaxation and he really enjoys getting high with jonathan while listening to music, and letting jonathan geek out about music, when he's high he is very affectionate, loves hugs, and snuggling, and casual affection.
more to come but here's a little peak at my new son!

Ok 🖊 for Ellis (don’t think I’ve seen you chat about them much) and obligatory 🖊 for Fig bc you asked about my Fig first :3
not me immediately forgetting to answer this dsvfvds
BUT TY i don't talk about ellis much & i know part of it is because they don't have (or want) a partner so I tend to draw less of them (i'm foolish)!!! BUT in splat timeline ellis is agent 3 in an offshoot universe from the main one juice and i have (wherein flynn, rowan, and jo are 4, 3, and 8 respectively). they live with august (the agent 4 for that timeline) until she moves out to live with her gf, piper (agent 8).
the rest is under the cut bc ouhhhhghghhhgh oc chatter
BUT BASIC STUFF: in every universe, ellis uses they/them (maybe toying around w xe/xir but not sure on that yet) (honestly i think they'd be down for any pnouns that Aren't he/she) (don't even THINK about gendering them) and is aroace. they're also autistic in the "this conversation isn't interesting to me at all so I'm just going to leave" way.
in splat timeline! ellis is the youngest of the agents, despite being. the most longterm member of the splatoon. they're about a year or two younger than august (it used to be more than that but I think this works better), and they meet through the agency. ellis had been living alone in agency-based housing and was assigned august as a roommate and, hates her (lovingly). they have a very sibling relationship and ellis judges every girl august brings home (except for piper BUT to be fair. august didn't bring her home technically. and ellis knew her previously through the events of octo expansion).
SPEAKING of piper. in every timeline ellis LOVES piper. she can bake a mean pan of brownies and she's also autistic so she Gets them and its very (autism creatures shaking hands image). they just sit together quietly on their phones/laptops hashtag parallel play. when they find out august and piper are dating they're very PIPER YOU ARE MAKING A HORRIBLE MISTAKE (i am so happy for both of you) AUGUST IF YOU FUCK THIS UP I'LL KILL YOU. also when august moves out to live with piper they cry but no one sees ok. no one
NOT INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP STUFF:
ellis has to be doing something with their hands at all times. they have like 50 different fidget toys littered around the apartment, 30% of which are different color fidget cubes. they don't even like fidget cubes that much but they're all different colors/novelty gimmicks (ie baby yoda, a cat, etc) so it's ok. their favorite fidgets are rubbing smooth stuff and clicking so. clickable pens and smooth stones are their go-to fidgets
in splat timeline they use up a lot of that energy tinkering with their autobombs (they refer to them as their chickens, always in a deadpan) (with how technical they like to be when talking abt them, no one can tell if the chickens thing is a joke) (good luck figuring it out), but in every timeline they do a lot with textiles. their favorite is cross stitching but they also dabble in knitting. all the cross stitching they do is like. rude phrases made to look super live laugh love home sweet home because they think it's funny. they have a very floral "go away" hung on their walls in different scripts in like 3 places
oughhh this is just making me realize i need to draw ellis more...... they're the focus of my piece i did for hero shot zine tho so here's a sneak peak straight from that!!
AND THEN ONTO FIG..... fig (they/them) is @saltylenpai's OC technically so i'm a little rambly about them but they're dating my OC wren (he/him)!!! i have like NO recent art of either of them though so i need to. do that
but fig is super sweet, in love with the world and everything in it. in splatoon timeline, fig is a sanitized octoling in recovery and their love for all of the little things in life comes from relearning how to exist as a person. in human aus they're just. like that
fig's also like. our tallest oc. they have a huge tattoo spanning their chest and arms that's sea themed, uhhhhhhh, they love art and making art and thats how they meet wren actually!! they go to school together!!! wren is a printmaking major who dabbles in pottery and fig is like. i want to do Everything actually. so theres some overlap in classes. fig is also mega autistic (are you sensing a theme with our OCs) ESPECIALLY in the "i don't understand social cues" way and that whole flirting situation was a shitshow bc fig just dropped the "you make me feel a way [romantic but doesnt realise it]" and wren is just a fucking Mess over it bc he's so flustered and gay about it but he's not sure if *he's* reading the situation wrong . they get together thought shhh
fig's also a huge romantic and takes so many candids of wren and paints wren and like. wren is just their muse in a lot of ways its so fuckinf cute. ouhhhhhhh i just love fig a lot. i love fig theyre so cute and sweet and i love them so much i have so many feelings about fig i am not good at words about them theyre just (crying noises) and their relationship with wren is SO (louder crying noises)
here's a fun fact!! fig grew up birdwatching with their mom so when they come around to be like "hey mom this is my boyfriend wren" she's like yeah that tracks for you, always a birdwatcher!!

Some thoughts on gendered ableism when it comes to autism specifically because April is around the corner again.
The topic of gendered autism diagnositics is important to me because I wasn't quiet. I wasn't shy. I didn't cry a lot. I was an "austistic girl" with "autistic boy" traits. I was violent. I was opinionated, I had meltdowns. I bit teachers. I screamed when I was upset and threw things at people when they touched me. Back in the late 90s autistic girls were considered rare and their qualifications had to be developnentally drastic and fit a very exact criteria.
Quiet and Shy autistic girls get underdiagnonsed but Violent and Agressive autistic girls get misdiagnonsed. I was put on ritalin when I didn't need it. I was put on lithium when I didn't need it. I was rediagnosed every few years and I was put on medications that changed my fucking brain development forever. I don't get that shit back.
I'm not bipolar. I'm just not. Lithium should be a last ditch effort medication because it's a course first wave antipsychotic directly after the creation of thorzine and a salt that builds up in your brain system and should ONLY be taken by the people who don't produce lithium on their own. It was maybe one of the worst points of my life. I was a misdiagnonsed autistic kid and I was put on lithium and here's what they don't tell you: It makes you ANGRY. I had constant violent homicidal intrusive thoughts and they only got worse the longer I was on lithium. I was miserable, my skin hurt and I was so stressed I was biting chunks out the side of my mouth and pretending I was biting into whoever was standing in front of me until i drew blood. I shredded at the corners of my fingers and punched walls to make my knuckles hurt and then pick at the scabs. I finally started spitting the pills out into the sink once I discovered I was lactating. I was 11.
People were using ritalin on every child suspected of the mysterious terrifying plauge known as ADHD in a late 90s scare around the same time as the satanic panic and hotly debated children's television censorship and these medications and it was a methylphenidate that was pushed by pharmaceutical companies at the time. Kids were getting diagnosed by doctors endorsing the company and they suffered onsets of psychosis and suicidal tendancies.
The first time i tried to commit suicide I was on ritalin. I walked into oncoming traffic and my mom yanked me by the shirt and asked me what the hell I was thinking it was dangerous and I replied "because it's better this way." I was seven.
The company underwent and lost two lawsuits and people are still getting financial comepsation from the long term effects the meds had on their bodies.
I was on Abilify when my PE teacher clled my mom telling her that I was refusing to participate and when she asked me why I started crying told her my joints hurt every time I did a jumping jack on the blacktop. She looked and saw my at my wrists and ankles were swollen and I had skin rashes and took me to the hospital. I was suffering with sever fluid retention and I had water around my heart to the point where it was teetering on fatal. I was given a perminant excuse from PE for the rest of the year to recover. Abilify is used to treat psychosis, which I didn't have. My mom chalked it up to a dye allergy. I was 10.
I wish I could say it's gotten better since i was a kid but the amount of erasure and speaking over autistic people has not laxed since the discovery of autism in girls and minoreties. The sentiment remains a common practice and shows no signs of changing in the near future.
The moment you add gendered criteria to diagnostics you are glazing over the people who don't meet the status quo and condemning them to both negligence and medical malpractice at the same time.
I am talked over by autism parents and unliscenced ABA therapists and doctors who don't even specialize in behavioral psychology or psychiatry. I am still disected and categorized for my disablity and an arbitrary construct that I neither fit the criteria of NOR believe in and I'M the one who has to live with other peoples ignorance, prejudice and mistakes.
I'm not arguing with warrior moms and #Autism$peaks and child phisicians anymore about their beliefs of what an autistic child looks like in comparison. I want my fucking brain back, I want my childhood back, and I want parts of my cheek back and if you can't do that for me then shut the fuck up and never speak on the subject ever again.

disclaimer: i am neither diagnosed nor strictly self-diagnosed, but i have always displayed some degree of autistic behavior/symptomolgy (whether caused by autism or by a collective of other things, i think my experience is possibly comparable)
i do think that in my teens, expressing socially acceptable femininity was a way of masking for me. i was very anxious about being seen barefaced by my peers, because i was aware that being “attractive” was one of the few forms of social leverge i could pull off, but also did not care about the social norms of like not putting on makeup publicly and i definitely had to learn modesty through negative/unwanted attention.
i do think that if i am autistic it’s definitely not in the rule-follower kind of way, i definitely err more toward the “if it doesn’t make sense to me, i’m not doing it” side of things
and i think that because i was masking through femininity during my teens, that actually protected me somewhat from gender ideology because it presented me with an easy out when prompted about my own gender identity — i present femme, therefore it only makes sense that i am a woman and use she/her. back then if pressed further about my nonfeminine behaviors i’d maybe specify further that maybe i was agender but had no dysphoria and presented femininely with she/her pronouns and thus “passed” as a ciswoman so it didn’t really matter either way. (which back then at least was seen sort of as “checking my privilege” and thus didn’t rock any boats)
it’s weird though, because i remember as a child and a pre-teen being vocally AGAINST makeup, i even recall a discussion i had with my grandma around 11 or 12 about how makeup was unfair not only to the girls who didn’t wear it yet (like myself) because it made us feel insecure, but also the girls who were already wearing it because they now feel obligated to do so in order to not feel insecure. i feel like i haven’t heard many other women express an experience like mine when discussing “peaking” and actually beginning to lean into radical feminism — for me it almost feels as if a return to my true values rather than a discovery or continuation of them as many other women seem to describe it being.
Patriarchy affects autistic women and girls in a unique way imo. I'm thinking particularly of masking (when you learn and perform behaviors from others to hide your autistic traits), but also of the autistic tendencies to compartmentalize, to want clear rules (esp socially), to assume honestly and/or good faith from others, to generally struggle to understand the intentions of others.
If we can't intuit social rules, then it makes sense that we would try to learn them by rote from outside sources. And when those outside sources are pushing patriarchal roles on us, when it seems like other women find it easy or natural, when we can't or don't trust ourselves to understand how to be accepted/acceptable...is it any wonder we try to mask? Is it any wonder we're more vulnerable?
I think this same thing is why a disproportionate amount of autistic women ID as trans or nonbinary. It makes perfect sense to me. Gender ideology offers us a different script; it says, "Do you feel ostracized, lonely, like an outsider? Here is a solution. Here is an alternate path." And then we're given an explanation, different rules to follow, something that seems less constricting than the rules of femininity. That's why gender ideology appealed to me, anyway. After years of struggling to perform femininity and growing steadily more dissociated from my body due to misogyny and disability, the idea that I could opt out sounded marvelous! Except, of course, that's not how it works.
This post has been All About Me but I'm an extremely rule-bound person, and I know many other autistics are not. So I'm curious—
Autistic women, do you find that patriarchy and misogyny have affected you in ways specific to being autistic?
#sorry if this is unwelcome input — if so feel free to disregard!#there is a higher incidence of autism among women with one of the health conditions i have#and i’m kind of unsure if we are actually more inclined toward autism for physical/biological/genetic reasons#or if there is overlapping symptomology that just isn’t well understood resulting in misdiagnosis#i do know i experience that symptomology though#and i did kinda stray on the last point but it felt relevant?#a lot of the ‘symptomolgy’ i refer to is in reference to like sensory isssues but i def have social issues too#those are just more difficult to narrow down to two or even three possible causes lol#i do believe that my condition has led to some speculation about the cause of autism and adhd because of the high incidence as well#but that’s all speculative theory atm.#i mean with SOME data to back it up just not enough to prove anything definitively

Autistic Organizations You can Support Instead of That Other Organization...Because Eff Them.
Okie dokie! So since this month is Autism Acceptance Month, I am sharing some resources for folks to use and organizations to support instead of Autism $peaks. Because eff them. This is by no means an exhaustive list (I do not have the spoons for that, nor am I responsible for doing that leg work for ableds for free), but it's a darn good start.
NOTE: I will be as informative as possible, and if I can’t describe very well, I’ll link the about pages and let their words speak. I also inject some humor and wrote this while I was hungry. And had no caffeine. You’ve been warned.
First off is Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN for short). They are founded by autistics and have Autistic members on their board. They provide resources such as information, articles, and are responsible for the consultation in the creation of Julia, the first Autistic Muppet on Sesame Street (until the network decided to screw them over for A$ once she was created). They oppose eugenic programs, "curing" rhetoric, and are very outspoken in terms of supporting autistic folks.
ASAN's Links and Socials: https://autisticadvocacy.org/ Their twitter: @autisticadvocacy (Same with Tumblr and Facebook)
Next is Autistic Women's and Non-binary Network (AWN). Here's who they are, in their own words: https://awnnetwork.org/about/
Women, Non-binary, trans (both femme and masculine of all genders), Two Spirit People, and other marginalized genders are under diagnosed, if at all when it comes to autism and the official diagnosis, ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). They provide resources on education, dispel stereotypes and myths, and personal view points from Autistic folks. And they have grown and learned as our knowledge of gender is expanding. Which is a great thing! Organizations that are willing to grown and learn is a sign they are doing something right.
AWN's Links and Socials: https://awnnetwork.org/ Their Twitter: @ awnnetwork_ Tumblr: @awn-network (I think it's the same on other sites, too.)
Next up is Autism and Race and their fund, The Autistic People of Color Fund. This came on my radar (I didn't discover this, but I saw it being shared on Autistic Twitter) last year when many of the BLM protests were (and still) going on. In their own words: https://autismandrace.com/autistic-people-of-color-fund/
They are a vital organization. I cannot say this enough. Even in the Autistic community, our Black, Brown, Asian, and Indigenous Autistics are underdiagnosed and more likely to be overlooked. And the systems in place to help them grow are either not there, or too expensive. They offer micro grants to help out. And this vital. So yeah, I’m very passionate about seeing more folks donate to this organization.
Autistic POC’s Website: https://autismandrace.com/ The Fund: https://autismandrace.com/autistic-people-of-color-fund/ Twitter: @ AutisticPOC
As for what you can do in the mean time, you can unlearn a lot of ableist words and look up the history of them. And learn that ableism and racism are connected.
AuTeach on TikTok is a great and funny resource for education. And memes. So many memes. She’s a PHD candidate who’s Autistic. And she’s got an Autistic kid who’s adorable.
@annieelainey (She/They) is an amazing vlogger, writer, and advocate. She’s on youtube, twitter, IG, and here on tumblr (I think she is more active on twitter and IG these days).
There are hashtags on Twitter where ableds can ask questions to the community. #AskingAutistics is used. Just remember that we don’t have to answer if we don’t want to.
For Autistic BIMPOC there’s #AutisticWhileBlack #AutisicWhileBrown. It’s not exhaustive, but remember that the Autistic community is not a monolith, and racism is very prevalent and a maaaajor issue in the community. The community excludes Autistics of color a lot. If you are a Black, Brown, Asian, Indigenous, and/or Mixed, it is a frustrating and exhausting thing to deal with both ableism and racism from a community that is supposed to be supportive.
This is just a starting point of where you can find good organizations to support. I would also like to say that these three are the ones I’m doing fundraising for. I am trying to raise $150 for each foundation this month. Like I said, I’m passionate about this because I’m Autistic. And I want to give back to my community. So if you want to donate, and have the means, you can here. And I’m streaming on twitch while I do so.
So, yeah. Go support Autistics by educating yourself and eat cookies. Or donuts. Or tacos. Or ramen.
Now I’m hungry.
Bye.

Tohru is Autistic
Fruits Basket getting a proper anime adaptation is all I've wanted since I was 13. I'm very excited and getting all my feels back and I'm realising that I really related to Tohru for various reasons. And one is she's totally autistic.
1) Despite being shown to be polite and happy and friendly, was arbritratily excluded from social groups growing up. Peak autism mood. Very relatable for girls in particular. People just don't like us! For apparently no real reason.
2) super easy to lie to. Very easily manipulated. Basically believes everything at face value and is considered naive for trusting people
3) her only friends are other socially excluded weirdos, who Tohru sees for who they are. She isn't bogged down by the stereotypes of the neutotyoicals.
4) Very strict social rules. It's commented that Tohru uses very formal language, regardless of situation. She sticks to being incredibly polite as a rule, it helps her navigate social situations. (and back fires because NTs change the rules and get mad). A lot of her reasoning, when you first see it, may seem silly or overly strict. You think "but it's not like that now" - but rules are rules. It's hard change your way of thinking anyway, and even harder for Autistics.
5) Hyperempathy.
6) unconventional ways of thinking about things "when snow melts it becomes spring"
7) People comment on her strange expressions. She smiles inappropriately, doesn't get mad when expected to, doesn't look sad enough. Her smile puts some people off.
8) Despite being hyperfeminine, Tohru doesn't react badly to others not conforming to gender roles. She doesn't care at all.
9) This is the most important point. If you got this far, and don't believe me, this point will win you over:
I'm Autistic and I said so.
It's actually really rare for Autistic people to see ourselves represented, let alone positively. Tohru is a weird, isolated girl, who's strangeness makes her perfect for the Sohma family. It is precisely Tohru's strangeness that her friends, Hana and Ue and all the Sohma family love.
Let me, and other autistics, have a character that is shown to be hated just for being who she is and then is shown, over and over, to be so completely loved for who she is.
#I'm gonna reread the manga for like the umpteenth time#Fruits Basket#Actuallyautistic#Tohru Honda#Touru Honda#Fruits Basket 2019#Autistic headcanon
