best friend and I got to hang out today!!!!! 💖💖 we went to the convenience store (best friend wanted a fun seasonal mint drink and then I saw the cheese filled pretzels I literally have not had in like 10 years so. I had to.) and then the mall and the bookstore and then dropped some pretzels off for my brother ("I know you wanted me to get a mall pretzel, but, I ate a different pretzel, earlier. so I got you the mall pretzel. ....and one for me so I could eat it later." if you want to understand how my mother is emotionally manipulative, here's a short lil story that just happened:

my sister was asking if i was taking this manual can opener i'd bought a few months ago bc the ones we had were old or shitty and we ran into an issue with the electric version we have where we couldn't use it when the power went out.

and i said i'd bought the same one for myself so she could keep it bc she really loves it.

so then my mother pops off about how they know my dad does stuff for us (i mean not really, as of late he has-ish), but we never talk about her doing stuff for us like buying the electric can opener when the other manual ones were terrible. i also do not know how my dad fits into this tbqh.

but like, that's not even the point, lmao. the point was having a second manual can opener in case the electricity goes out again and how i'd found a good one. it wasn't about the electric one being a bad choice because it wasn't. it's simply a matter of practicality.
