A Weekend to Remember 💕

My girl Siya, who I’ve been seeing for about five months now, has been expressing her frustration with work all week. I’m not quite sure what her exact job title is but I know she works with badass kids and intense parents everyday in the school system. I’ve always admired her patience with people on a daily. I told her I do labor and engineering work for a reason cause I’d catch a case. Nonetheless, I know she needs an outlet and frankly, just a good time so she can let her hair down a bit. I can admit I’ve been slightly negligent to my lady’s feelings recently due to my own work being a shit storm with high volumes of orders and requests needing to be completed. A couple nights in a row I’ve been falling asleep on her mid conversation from pure exhaustion. I know that stings her a bit because we don’t live together and she really treasures our nightly FaceTime calls. She lives about 35 mins away from me on the other side of the county so anytime I get to see her face I try to make it last. I know she knows I still love her and I’m here for her like always but I’m the type of man to show it. Especially when I know I’ve been slacking a bit.

On the way home from work today, on a high from finally making it to Friday, I text Siya to let her know my plans.

T: Hey babe, hope your work day ended on a high note today. I want you to pack a bag to stay over my place for the weekend. I wanna show you how much I’ve missed you all week.. I’ll be there to get you around 6. I love you ❤️

I smile down at my phone at her response. She always finds a way to make me laugh. That’s why this weekend I want her to feel like she’s fully taken care of. It made me think about what I wanted to plan for us this weekend. I want to take Siya’s mind off of all her stress and worries and I have to be quick because I only have about 2 hours until I pick Siya up…

Siya POV

That text from Terry made my day. I haven’t stopped smiling since I got it just as I was about to sprint to my car after calling it a day at work. Don’t get me wrong, I love aspects of my job but the mental rigor of trying to put out fires everyday is A LOT. I was just starting to get annoyed with Terry actually, he’s been seeming a bit distant and uninterested but those thoughts faded away as soon as I read that text. If there’s one thing I know about my man its that he’s thoughtful when it counts and loves to prove it.

Getting home to my quiet condo, I drop all my stuff in my office room then head straight to my bathroom to shower off all the angst of the day. Blasting some Summer Walker and Kehlani while the hot water slowly soothes my body into relaxation. I make sure to shave and moisturize something serious not yet knowing exactly what Terry has planned. I just have a feeling it’s going to make me fall in love with him even more.

After my shower, I decided to fix something small to eat to hold me over and then pack my bag for a stay at my man’s.

*phone vibrates*

I don’t know what it is but Terry still makes me giddy and nervous. I can’t stop checking my hair and light makeup in the mirror just to make sure nothing is out of place. Dressed in a causal three piece cozy fit, perfect for this fall weather and brisk evenings, I wait for Tory to arrive while chilling on my living room couch. Just as I start to feel a little antsy my phone vibrates again.

T: Come open your door for me beautiful

Without texting back, I hop out of my seat and speed walk to the door with a smile. I open the door to find my tall, muscular, ocean eyed teddy bear of a boyfriend dressed in a hoodie and joggers to match.

“There she is” he says before softly pulling me into his arms and lifting me into a tight hug. He smells so good..

“Hey baby, I missed you so much” I say before planting a kiss on his soft, plump lips.

“I’ve missed you too baby girl. More than you know. Come on, let me get your bag for you” He says slightly brushing past me into the living room to grab my pink duffle bag. “You ready, mama?”

Terry POV

It feels so good having Siya next to me again. It’s only been about a week and a half since I’ve last seen her in person but right now let me know that’s too long without her. Her soft, luscious, radiant skin. Her fragrance that always smells like something sweet that makes me hungry for her. Head full of curls and that amazing smile that still makes my heart skip a beat. I’m sprung, no doubt. I can’t keep my hands off her as I hit the highway heading back to my place. My free hand found its way in between the heat of her thighs and rested there for comfort as I gripped the steering wheel. Snoh Alegra playing from my truck speakers and our heads bobbing to the smooth tunes. I look over at Siya softly singing the words and I crack a smile involuntarily. Call me corny but I made a playlist just for this ride back so I knew she’d be feeling it.

“You know this is my song” She says with a playful smirk while dancing in her seat.

“Yeah I know love”

Siya went back to her karaoke as i focused on not missing a turn right up ahead of us. As soon as I made the turn off our usual route, Siya stops her concert and looks at me with curious eyes.

“Where we going?” She asks

“Just a little detour babe, don’t worry” I reassure her grabbing onto her hand to hold.

I could tell my words put her at ease. I watch her lean back in her seat to take in the beautiful sunset outside our car windows. The sky barely lit but just above the horizon it’s painted a firey bright orange with clouds leaving small traces of purple and blue. Approaching our destination, I see Siya sit up, peeking out of the windows to take in the view before us. A walking park adorned with vast land scattered with trees and a beautiful lake front that provided a perfect view to watch the remainder of the sunset. The area is empty and barely any cars drive past at this time of day. Perfect for a chill ass smoke session to get my girl right for this relaxing weekend I got planned for her.

Siya POV

Terry is always up to something I tell ya. I’ve always appreciated the effort and thought he puts into the things he does for me. No matter how little or large. Terry knows I’m a sentimental nostalgic who loves taking in sunsets and sunrises. I mean, I couldn’t even count the amount of moon photos I have in my camera roll too. The lowering sun completely gone but now the fluorescent moonlight took its place. It gave us ample light reflecting from the shimmering lake. I could feel every bit of my body soften and loosen up. You had come up the stairs of Nejire's home after what sounded like a sudden tornado coming from the bedroom, followed by a familiar groan and more thrashing.

Nejire had what seemed to be her entire closet strewn about the room, and knowing the size of her wardrobe, that was a feat. "This interview is really big for me and I want to make sure I look perfect! Everything I have is either already worn or just not cute enough!" She picked up another blouse and held it up to herself in her full-body mirror, before throwing it back down in defeat. "That's it, I'm canceling!"

Wearing a small smile from her outburst, you walked up behind her, wrapping your arms around her from behind. "Babe," You said, putting your head on her shoulder and looking at her in the mirror she was still facing, swaying slightly. "The host won't care what you wear, you're adorable no matter what! And a badass, too. If she can't look past the shirt you're wearing and focus on the feats you've made as a hero, she needs a new job."

You focused back on her face, now slightly turned to face you. You could see a blush spreading across her face as well, eyes looking down in embarrasment.

You approached her and gently put one hand on her back, the warmth of her skin causing your heart to race. With your other hand you grabbed the zipper, being careful to not catch it on her skin. Once you made sure it was all the way up you slid your hands to her shoulders, lightly rubbing them.

"Is that okay?" You asked, hands trailing down her arms. "Does it feel zipped all the way?"

You flushed, not used to seeing the cheerful and outgoing Nejire so flustered. It made you almost happy to see the effect you had on her, you wanted to see it more.

A sudden burst of confidence, you lightly pushed her down to the bed, so she was now sitting.

"Let me help you get ready."

"W-what?!" She replied, eyes now meeting yours as her face grew even more red. "Are you sure?"

You knelt down in front of her, almost eye level with her thighs. "I'm sure," you look up at her before grabbing a pair of calf-high socks she had on the bed next to her. "You wanted to wear these too, right? Let me put them on."

She averted her gaze once more, mouth quivering with anxiety before she slowly lifted her leg up to allow you to slide the sock onto her.

Grabbing her leg, your hand instinctively rubbed her calf, feeling how soft it was due to her intense self-care routine. You slipped the sock on as you trailed your hand higher, over her knee and onto her thigh.

"What are you doing?" She stammered, looking down at you with nervousness.

"You're a goddess," words you'd usually be so embarrassed to say rolling off your tongue thoughtlessly, as you leaned down closer to her thigh.

Whenever someone in Alexandria asks who your family is, they never believe you when you say you’re Daryl Dixon’s daughter, not because they think you’re weak but because you squeal like a little kid on Christmas when you see or hear anything about clothes or makeup.

You jumped slightly at the sound of your door opening, but you smiled when you saw Carl appear in your mirror. “Hey baby, how was the run?” You asked him as you turned to face him slightly scanning over him to see if he had anything behind his back for you but mostly to make sure that we was okay. “It was good, i was gonna stop at some makeup store we passed and get you some stuff but we got overrun by a heard of walkers.” He said making you gasp and run to him completely ignoring the fact that the clothes you spent so long smoothing out had fallen on the floor from you practically jumping over the bed to assess your loving boyfriend.

“Are you okay!? Episode 12: The Mandalore Plot

* Obi wan sent to Mandalore to investigate rumors about a secret army built for the separatists

* “All of our warriors were exiled to concordia. They died out years ago” thats fucking weird. Like if we’re talking just Death Watch thatd be whatever they’re terrorists but all of the warriors?? What about Satine’s Guard? Do they not qualify as warriors? Or are they allowed because they’re Satine’s warriors

* Amec awfully defensive about Jango Fett being mandalorian. “Jango Fett was a common bounty hunter. How he acquired that armor is beyond me” what exactly makes someone Mandalorian or not?

* Satine is so hostile just as soon as she enters. That doesnt look good for your case, Duchess, considering you want to prove you have no intent of turning against the Republic. bad political decision.

* Sabateur is mandalorian. Amec really going hard on the denial "no mandalorian would engage in such violence. not anymore" babe you have Video Evidence of the exact opposite

* Satine assumes this whole thing is because the Senate wants to intervene in the affairs of Mandalore

* wild assumption considering obi wan has done nothing thusfar outside of try to get answers for his investigation. awfully presumtuous and honestly arrogant all things considered

* i find it so hard to believe these two are supposed to have been in love

* Ok so now you mention Death Watch, not earlier when you were throwing around baseless accusations where that information could have been necessary??

* "its hardly a movement" a small group of hooligans typically doesnt warrant secret officials rooting them out. all this tells me is that she knows about death watch and refuses to do much of anything ab it. what does she plan to do with the investigation?

* The separatists want to help overthrow satine

* Satine trying to lecture Obi Wan on peacekeeping and Jedi ideals is fucking audacious. “The job of a peacekeeper is to make sure that conflict does not arise” and what when conflict does? You cant always prevent conflict. The conflict is already there so arguably Obi Wan has a more understandable and realistic point of view here.

* Also terribly ironic that an act of terrorism occurs as they are having this conversation. This isn’t Peace. Its ignorance.

* “Hooligans couldnt have arranged an attack of this scale” “It must be an offworlder” denial is going to get your people killed

* Side note: the sheer amount of blonde white people makes me so uncomfortable for this to be an idyllic state of peace for mandalorians. Especially when any mandalorians we see who are poc are stripped of their mandoness, or cult members (this is in reference to Jango and Din, im uncertain of what sabines family’s political views were)

* That man shot at obi wan while he was trying be diplomatic ab it would she blame him for self defense? Thats fucked up especially bc shes totally cool with self defense when she does it

You joining the clone war is not what hes talking about, The Death Watch dont care about what you want. I dont even know how she turned this conversation into a “i wont be part of this war and you wont convince me” discussion when he literally didn’t say anything of the sort

Episode 13: Voyage of Temptation

* I didnt even notice the scene of Satine expectantly waiting for Obi Wan to kiss her hand last episode until this episodes recap. I hate it that feels condescending

* This is where they start revealing that they had or have feelings for eachother and I simply Cant See It

* The way she talks down to obi wan constantly and even seats herself above everyone else like bro have literally any fucking respect for others outside of yourself

* The spider droid deaths are already so dark

* “Even extremists can be reasoned with” Duchess YOU are an extremist and you clearly can’t be reasoned with, just because your extremism isnt violent doesnt make it not extreme

* And again pacifism is ineffective in the face of an uncaring enemy, you fight or you die

* Im only like 1/4 of the way through this episode

* I feel like they try to push obitine so hard it just falls flat for me because their negative interactions outweigh any positive ones

* Anakin seems to really be pushing Obi Wan to have feelings for Satine but it comes across as Anakin projecting his worries about his relationship with Padme onto Obitine, because if Obi Wan can do it its okay that he can. Except Obi Wan doesnt, he lets it go

* Ooh creepy clone puppet scene

* I love when star wars tries to be spooky scary

* “Just because im a pacifist doesnt mean i wont defend myself” you mean like how last episode you said if obi wan had killed that guy you would blame him even tho he was just defending himself?

* Senator Merrik was on Mandalore with Satine, is he from Mandalore? Who is this guy? Hes the Senator for Kalevala in the Mandalore system

* The fact that Satine could be betrayed by literally every single one of her close colleagues is honestly telling of how her peace was just a facade used by her enemies to blindside her.

* Merrik looks so disturbed ab Satine suddenly confessing her love

* Also the fuck you mean youve loved him ever since? Youve been treating him like shit this whole time???

* At least the distraction worked, as uncomfortable as it made me

* Merrik, as shitty as he is, makes a decent point about if Satine shoots him or not, She’s politically backed herself into a corner

* I do think had Anakin not been there Obi would have done it for the greater good, or found a less fatal way about it

* Why did her attitude change so drastically at the end?

Episode 14: Duchess of Mandalore

* So Death Watch has the means to attack Mandalore and if Satine allows Republic occupation then Death Watch’s attack puts them in the people of Mandalore’s good graces allowing them to usurp Satine

* Obviously palps wants to do this for a power grab, Jerek could well have been another of Satine’s allies betraying her although im not so sure. He calls for Republic assistance against Death Watch becasue he sees them as a threat, calling out the Pride of the government to not ask for assistance from the Jedi.

* Either way this could have gone, it would always end the same because to maintain peace you have to Fight for it. That doesnt mean you have to be violent but you cant be ignorant of it either

* Arguably Satine is correct about the Republic occupation making them a target for the war and she has the right to remain neutral but what exactly is her alternative plan to deal with Death Watch

* Those guards of hers dont seem very pacifistic

* Damn friend zoned lmao

* So far Satine in this episode is at least more tolerable and I understand where she’s coming from

* What the republic is doing IS wrong but shes not offering an alternative to stopping Death Watch to protect her people

Episode 15: Senate Murders

* A group of senators want to escalate the production of troops, Padme and her allies recognize this will prolong the war and is working against it

* Padmes enemies are accusing her of separatist conspiracy, if this gets out to the rest of the senate she is absolutely fucked

* Ono assassinated, they actually succeeded this time

* Where do i know this lieutenants voice? Its grating just like his personality, no offense to the va

* Mothma and Bail both act like parental/older sibling figures to padme, im a whore for that shit

so its my school's feast day today, and there was a big event this morning, and the teachers were all shepherding us into our seats and directing us around, and i was walking in my line to find a seat, when i SAW HER. my teacher was standing there and i think i forgot everything and was just staring at her as i was walking 🤭🤭and so another teacher pointed at to where i had to sit and so i walked down through the seats and i see my teacher again AND SHE SMILES AT ME. and as i smile back i trip over the seat and almost faceplant into the ground 😳😳 🫢🫢

for context, this teacher is my PE teacher, and she is INCREDIBLE. she is SO badass and amazing and cool, and she's so good with my class and she just radiates AMAZING VIBES. so this year was my first year being taught by her and i had a crush on her in like term 1/2, and then i got over it mostly, i stopped being obsessed with her etc. i just think she's SO COOL and i love her class, and i look forward to seeing her every day. i want to be like her when i grow up tbh. and normally im pretty cool about it, but today i saw her in her fancy amazing cute outfit and i kinda was not cool about it (bc she is a PE teacher, she normally wears a jacket/hoodie and leggings/sports attire, so i dont normally see her in regular clothes). but she looked SO COOL with her hair down and her very amazing outfit. Jackie Varma (OH) - Oh, wait? What? She was an LI you say? Wow, well, based on the four mediocre scenes per book we got... I almost forgot. Jackie should have been given equal billing... because it almost feels like she was not an LI.

Baz Mirani (OH) - I freaking love Baz. Like... love Baz. He is the perfect best friend, and buddy, a little frumpy with a tummy character that is so adorable, caring, and fun that one day he and MC could be playing video games together, look at each other, and just go - "Oh, fuck, yeah... we could do this!"

Harper Emery (OH) - Again. The storyline could have been great. MC falling for Ethan's ex... come on! And I'm sorry, but Harper is a gorgeous, sexy, brilliant, badass woman - what's not to fall for? (Let's not talk about Book 3, Harper, Book 3 is NOT canon.)

Jung Hoseok is an electric person. Now, that can be in his excitable moments or his quiet moments but no matter what... the man has presence. When he walks into a room, you are AWARE of Hobi.

And he has duality for sure but no matter which side you get.... there is fire there. Whether it's raw power or sweet precious kindness... that is an enigmatic and electric quality to him.

And this mother fucker maintains all this in the face of adversity and while working his ass off!

Hobi taught me to recognize my own power and own that shit. Everyone has a fierceness to them. We just gotta figure out our own particular brand of Badass.

I appreciate the fuck out of that man for being a beacon of light and an inspiration to so many.

Well, to be completely honest I felt connected with Hobi early on because I learned that he faced so much criticism for his looks. Which is absolutely insane to me, by the way. Look at him. He's an angel or a God. I'm not really sure which. I'm not entirely sure Apollo himself hasn't decided to come to Earth again and join a band. But I can't prove it so.

But he faced a lot of that and I've faced plenty of it myself. I still have my doubts about myself. I get insecure.

Hobi taught me that it doesn't fucking matter what other people think of you. If you like you that's what matters.

And he taught me that I'm too pretty to care about what other people may or may not find attractive about me. I think I'm pretty. That's enough.

Hobi taught me self worth and he might not ever know it but I will be grateful to him until the day I die for that.

3. Take a little break and acknowledge that fierce fire inside of you. How has Hobi helped you be a little light in the world?

Hobi taught me that the best way of bringing light to others is by doing the best I can to be kind even when heifers be testing my patience.

That doesn't mean you have to let people run over you but it does mean that you don't have to be burned by them. Instead, take the flames they throw at you and use their heat to warm the earth where you planted your seeds. Use their hate to feed your positive moves and watch yourself grow into something miraculous.

What might start out as a humble seed might grow into a beautiful sunflower taller than all the rest!

THAT THE VILLAINS WERE SUPER OVERHYPED AND UNDERUSED.

I’m talking specifically about Lady Bone Demon and Macaque. My babies were some of the most badass characters in their first run, but then you’re- you’re just gonna have them get WIPED LIKE A DIRTY TABLE

And don’t even get me started on macaque, like bro was such a good villain in his first two episodes, with all the needless theatrics only meant to screw with MK and all. But then in season 3 they’re like “oh no he’s actually not such a bad guy let’s make him way weaker than he was in his debut episode”

My guy has omnipotent control over shadows. He can sink into them with no problem. He can fly, and even if he couldn’t, he can turn into a bird.
