PLWEASE send them your questions not me JAJFHDSF #I thought it would be cool if macaque has two separate forms as a shadow and inside a mindscape. like I wanted his shadow form to reflect #him in his prime and then the mindscape form as what he looked like when he died. or a more vulnerable state at least #based on LBD appearing to MK as the ivory lady when she died in the S3 special. I don’t know exactly what it was but my first thought seein #the white void was she was appearing to MK in his mindscape to talk to him. so I built on that #I wanted to give him a more ‘Smokey’ look as a shadow just based on how he manipulates them in the show like in shadow play. I hope this #makes it look cool and immaterial. and then his mindscape form would be more battered up and tangible #the last couple images are chippers ideas though since they said the monkeys are drawn to MK when macaque is possessing him lol #and the fact that macaque doesn’t have any senses unless he’s possessing someone + literally sniffing out wukong in the scroll 🤨📸#I also have a vivid image of macaque moving from the mindscape to physical form like umm. kind of like when he passes the boundary between #physical and spirit/mind(?) it’s like the shadow covers him like ink. or pulling Saran Wrap over your face and it clings to your skin #so it kind of makes the shadow seem like a sort of shell or covering.. and I love the idea of MK meeting macaque in the mindscape for the #first time too. like the moment mac rescues him from LBD and MK sees him all battered and tired looking brooooooo #I’m not even sure if that would count as a mindscape but it rattles around in my brain like loose marbles #god I fucking love this au. gives me imagination fuel swear to god #my art #doodles #lmk #Lego Monkie kid #Monkie kid #lmk au #re-bound!au #rebound au #lmk sun wukong #lmk swk #lmk macaque #lmk six eared macaque #lmk mk #lmk xiaotian

The thing no one ever considers while writing up character analyses about Merlin is that. he must have been sooooooo sleepy.

#I see everyone talking about the nuances when you look at Merlin through [x] lens #BUT WHAT ABOUT THE SLEEPY LENS #WE CAN’T KEEP SLEEPING ON THE SLEEPY LENS #(can u tell I'm exhausted)#see this reads as if I'm joking but I'm actually being SO serious. I think the lack of rest was a significant factor in Merlin's conduct #IF he got a solid 8 hours of sleep + 2 hours minimum JUST to himself everyday uninterrupted... I just know things would turn out different #like it isn't even asking for much. decent sleep + a frankly sad amount of down-time. and yet. we dont talk enough abt the fact azula is insanely proficient at hand to hand combat

#noticing it seems to be her defensive play #assuming her preferred way of fighting is very one unit body focussed. probably a byproduct of her intensive bending training #just. the first fight scene we see of her is azula effectively controlling her and zuko's entire fight with ONE HAND #and then moving to finish with lightning #i think thats insane.#also wondering if azula even bothers to use her fire bending on opponents she regards as weak #as in. she presumes if an opponent is weak enough there is no reason to tire herself out w her bending #interesting honestly. assuming azula looks to end a fight with maximum efficency from both herself and her situation #speaks to her pragmatism that she doesnt even show off that much #anyway. claw girl go scratch #azula #atla #veran speaks

In accidental sugar daddy land, when LBH realizes who SY is as a person, he wheedles and pleads until SY starts helping in a directorial capacity (you're paying for it after all)

Not much changes except LBH has progressively more merch from the series he's making food from on camera until he's in full cosplay.

Then to celebrate some milestone LBH cooks for sy at his own house which segues nicely into sweet talking him into letting LBH FILM in SY's kitchen - it's much nicer after all.

LBH, decidedly boiling the frog at this point, lets filming go late into the night so SY offers to let him sleep over. LBH cooks for him the morning and sy suggests they plan this set up for all filming days.

LBH has fully entered his housewife era. SY buys him gifts and nice clothes to compensate for the cooking and cleaning LBH does. There are many afternoons cuddled on the couch watching videos to "scout the competition" and other thin excuses.

Finally Shen meimei shows up to drag SY to brunch only to find LBH barefoot in her brother's kitchen. Since he's not there every day (yet) LBH has cooked plenty and is happy to serve his eventual sister in law.

SY finally drags himself out of bed and gives Binghe his good morning hug all before realizing he has a guest.

SY starts babbling immediately that it's not what it looks like only for Shen Meimei to snap back "Are you accusing me of being homophobic?"

And she seems outraged enough that sure, okay, fine, she can think what she says, he'll apologize to Binghe after.

But Binghe not only leans into the 'fake' relationship, but feeds her s class food. And explains how he's been getting yuan-ge out of the house for his health. And did your mom show you the gift he got her for her birthday? Binghe picked that out.

And SY is just sitting there like

Oh.

Oh....

When he turns beet red and covers his face with his hands, LBH knows he's won and shoos Shen meimei out the door, can't she see he's tired.
