If all the riddlers got together to play a dnd session, what class amd race do you think they would choose? Including Helix of course.

HA! I love this! Well, first off, I'm not even going to speculate on who's DMing. Harley, probably. They're also a bunch of nerd-ass losers, who would play obvious self inserts, and would have to be physically restrained from being massive rules lawyers. Here's how I think it would break down.

Arkham-Human Rogue/Ranger, he would choose other humans as his racial enemy, put an unnecessary amount of points into Intimidate, and constantly be out 'scouting' (Stealing things).

Detective- Aasimar Mage, Divination Specialization. Puzzles complains constantly about that being the most useless kind of wizard. Detective goes all out, with individualized, tarot-themed spell cards, and is very obnoxious about them.

Swag-Half Elf Bard, makes up his own bawdy poetry. It's awful.

Unswag-Half Elf Rogue/Mage, rarely talks, other than to declare his actions. Jealously protective of his dice.

YJ-Human Paladin, long-suffering leader of the group, on the verge of oath breaking at all times.

Puzzles-Human Fighter/Rogue, likes to punch people and take their stuff. Second biggest troublemaker in the group.

Narci-Drow Monk/Mage, has a hard time maintaining alignment requirements.

Nash-Tiefling Warlock, surprisingly adaptive, consistently rakes in the most xp per session. Has to eventually ask Lust to stop making commentary on how hellish pacts actually work.

Helix-Human Wild Mage, the only one who knows how this game is actually meant to be played, constantly accused of intentionally botching her wild surge checks in order to deliberately 'accidentally' turn her teammates into squirrels.

I will explode you with my mind (/bit) if you exclusively and consistently headcanon BOTH Lovelace and Jacobi and ONLY Lovelace and Jacobi as trans

And Here's Why

The available reasons for singling out these two and only these two are thus:

1. Lovelace is loud, authoritative, and controlling.

2. Jacobi is often depicted in fanon as Kepler's smaller, sassier, more flamboyant counterpart.

Whether it's intentional or not, headcanoning only Lovelace and Jacobi as trans plays heavily into stereotypes. Lovelace is considered the most "masculine" woman on the show, and Jacobi is usually considered the most "feminine" man. They get these headcanons more often because they're assigned traditional roles for the opposite gender. It kind of follows the logic that trans women are all loud and manly, while trans men are flamboyant and small. (Plus, fan art often shows Lovelace as tall, muscular and butch, while Jacobi is often thin and conventionally attractive.)

Am I saying trans headcanons for Lovelace and Jacobi are bad?

Absolutely not!

Jacobi staring down an externalization of himself, then being constantly unsure about his identity and uncomfortable with the way others perceive him? THAT'S A TRANS MOOD

Lovelace being biologically different from her peers, trying desperately to find comfort in a body that isn't her own while attempting to pass as "normal" for the comfort of others? ALLEGORY ALLEGORY ALLEGORY PLEASE GIVE ME MORE

mizutaigen is literally like. the first "toxic" m/f ship i've ever cared for. cuz like usually my taste in m/f ships is basically "unhinged baddie" x "badass wifeguy" *

so as i keep rotating these thoughts around i thiiink it's the fact that, yknow, theyre so similar. like i honestly truly think they could be besties in another universe: a kinder universe where taigen was not taught to hate. a universe where mizu was not born a girl in a deeply misogynistic society or half-white in a xenophobic homogeneous society.

yeah now that i think about it that really just might be THE secret sauce!!! like the fact that they COULD be perfect and happy together, if only things were different, if only they werent themselves.

smth v bittersweet about that's just driving me insane and makes me want to root for them to overcome all those obstacles, to say "fuck all that" (re:the world and all its fucked up shit) and find each other in the end. to eventually become each other's fav person and confidant. who obv still bicker and tease and insult each other all the time but they dont really mean any of it and over time it just becomes a running gag between them and no one else has to get it because it's just between the two of them.

Okay the main reasons i like lemonlime are because. 1) the concept of joy being kinda mean to someone On Purpose is SO funny 2) this makes the most sense for her to do with disgust, i would say, because she's the only one who can dish it back to joy properly, and thus cause a feedback loop of them both being shitheads to one another endlessly 3) as much as canon shows they deeply respect one another, so much of their canon interactions are ALSO them just bickering with each other 4) disgust is in desperate need of both more whimsy and f/f pairings in her life and 5) the ship name kinda slay.

An abuser is a human being, not an evil monster... The common view of abusive men as evil, calculating brutes can make it difficult for a woman to recognize her partner’s problem... She doesn’t realize that he can have all these positive qualities and still have an abuse problem.

They don’t pop out the gate screaming and swinging, like Adam did at Beacon. Abusers know how to be charming, how to play to the crowd, how to twist someone’s reality until they don’t know which way is up. Lots of folk don’t even realize they’re being abused because they’ve been so thoroughly convinced that the problem lies with them rather than their partner. What else are they supposed to think when their partner is so kind and generous and loving to everyone but them?

By writing Adam as a purely evil monster with no redeeming qualities, ShawLuna are contributing to the misconceptions surrounding abuse, making it harder for people to understand their situations or be able to recognize when someone they love is in trouble
