i need to make a master post of my interpretation of the phantom,,, i've been thinking of a logical backstory for her and i think i got it but it's sad and painful and it makes me feel bad even just to think about it :^( either way i rly want to write down my hcs of her one of these days 👉👈

#txt #im almost scared to talk about the backstory i gave her bc its Rly messed up but also i think its pretty realistic 😭 unfortunately #basically she was born with something unique but harmless about her appearance #but ppl are awful and mistook her uniqueness for something Bad that needs to be ''cured''#so when she was a baby she had her caretaker (i hc she was in an orphanage) pour acid on her little baby face 😬#she doesnt remember this #so as far as she knows shes always looked the way she does #but thats not true and sadly she will never know the truth #i think ppl genuinely thought she was possessed and stuff when she was little bc she was very quiet and still and ''unnerving''#but she was literally just autistic. ppl are just awful to children and punish them for being themselves #this happened to me as well ive had adults call me possessed and creepy and whatnot Just bc im autistic 😬#so yea ill be projecting that onto erica bc i can #shes genuinely just a victim to me and she deserves to heal #anyway her mother loved her so much. unfortunately her mom passed away when erica was a baby #which is why she ended up in an orphanage #while her mother saw her child's unique appearance and personality as something beautiful and lovable #her caretakers at the orphanage saw those same things as something Bad and Evil #it gets worse though :') but ill save it for when i actually write the master post #again i apologise for giving her such a painful backstory but like .. i wanted there to be an explanation for everything so yea :')

DC supervillain of the week who traps the justice league(in their league disguises) in a reality tv show like love island. it airs on tv and everything like they use supervillain powers to forcefully broadcast "love island: justice league edition" while the supers have to try and figure out how to escape. during a personal squabble wondy steps up and says "everyone calm down, we're all a team, we each have our strengths and weaknesses, we need to work together to solve this" and then it cuts to her talking head segment and she says "im not a fan of green lantern."

#actually im not sure who diana would dislike i feel like she projects an air of being Above All That #but there are some green lanterns i think might rub her the wrong way. isnt one of them sexist due to being an Old Comics Character but the #got phased out so it just left the impression that the character never grew out of his slimy behavior or something?#i cant remember the GL drama. sorry i have yet to find someone that makes me enthusiastic abt the GLs so i forget the lore #but i know there's a GL everyone hates in fandom. so lets say she doesnt like that guy.

I really love headcanons about Gerry being transmasc just because of the implications.

Like

Mary Keay, horrible person, horrible mother.

Gerry had to come out to her

she fully supports her trans child

doesn't misgender or deadname him

puts a him through the Horrors™ instead of a daughter, that's fine

Like it's so funny to me. Yes, she's horrible and abusive but don't even think she could be transphobic. Imagine someone misgenders her son on purpose. Can you imagine how terrifying that would be. She's controlling and trying to make "her Gerard" exactly the kind of heir she wants, but gender is not one of the things to be controlled, that's fine, as long as he carries on with their family legacy.

Plus even aside from transmasc Gerry headcanons she's also really supportive of his hobby and paintings like any mother and that's actually super funny now that I think about it. Just. Yeah she's messed up in so many interesting ways

Mdzs fans, deadass completely serious: jin guangyao manipulated his sister into marrying him, had a child with her, murdered his toddler son so people wouldn't find out hes mentally deficient due to inbreeding, when his sister/wife found out what he did she killed herself out of grief, and he used her corpse to frame an innocent man of murder. This was all 100% valid and he did nothing wrong

Hey I wanted to ask, one time you said you disliked the then-current drafts of 'not sorry for loving you' because of the calypso representation in them, so what do you think of the final product?

Hummm I mean tbh, it didn't change much from the drafts so my opinion remains largely the same haha. I think it could be an interesting attempt at manipulation? But my issue is specifically with the line "I love you. But not the way that you want me to." I saw some people say it could be him trying to placate her, but the thing is he leaves Immediately after, which would make trying to placate her not very useful. It's almost like a last word kind of thing? But it's crazy work for your last words to your captor to be I Love You

#wolfy tedtalks #i do also have issues with the whole trapped on an island thing #because i dooont think thats backed up by any evidence #it just serves to make her more sympathatic #but even if you take that into account the whole “she doesnt know how to love” argument falls apart a little bit when you remember he's been #trapped there for 7 years. she had time and she didnt learn at all #the rest of the song im honestly kinda fine with. i wish it leaned a Little more into the manipulative aspect but alas
