@capitolhost ASKED, ❝ we hɑven’t spoke much…since… ❞ (foɾ Kɑtniss)

𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐎 resentment for those who had a hand in the games ? those who broadcast her , those who dressed her up like a doll for the masses to consume. not once , not twice , but three times—the rebellion had been for the sake of change , a different kind of dress up that wasn’t just for the viewing pleasure of others. ceaser hasn’t put her in the games , but he did showcase her like something to be marvelled at. as if her marching toward her death was something to be proud of , something that should be applauded. how did he stomach it , katniss often wondered , for so many years knowing he was a stepping stone for children to kill each other. ( katniss remembers finding him overwhelming , finding his smile & his chipper personality nauseating considering the circumstances she sat across from him in. ) ; grey eyes are narrowed slightly , features set in some low burning anger. shoulder wear her fathers old jacket , long hair having been cut to shoulder length. her hair , like her face or her arrows , had been a symbol of the rebellion. katniss wanted to distance herself even now that it’s done. ❛ since you basically showcased me like a doll to the masses ? ❜ comes tense response , a hard breath passing through her nose. ❛ since you sent me to my supposed , intended , death more than once ? ❜ a step is taken toward him, ❛ since you interviewed peeta — you had to know what they were doing to him. did you ? did you stand by & let snow torture him , ceaser ? ❜ a brow arches.

Tumblr media
01 - who are you protecting?
“my name is doctor spencer reid. and this,” spencer says as he turns the photo of the missing girl in his hand, “is angie, the girl that you’ve kidnapped. now tell me, where is she?”
the woman bangs her handcuffs against the table and breaks into a hysterical laughter.
“you’re funny, calling yourself doctor. do you say that so you'll be treated with the same level of respect as all of the other agents? maybe it runs deeper than that. what you lack in physicality you make up for in your intelligence, and in turn they protect you,” she jeers, staring straight into his eyes with a conniving smile.
spencer doesn’t seem to be fazed by her words, clasping his hands together and leaning towards her with an icy glare.
“tell me where she is.” his words fall like needles on shattered glass, countering her sharpness with immaculate professionalism.
you watch the interaction unravel from behind the one-way glass of the interrogation room, and bite your nails as you wait for her to fold.
“tell me this, tell me that. why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself, doctor.” the unsub clicks her tongue when she says doctor, and leans back in her seat with a satisfied grin.
“i know what you’re trying to play here, but it won’t work. tell me where you’re keeping her and maybe we’ll talk about a deal.” spencer’s voice is cold, calm, and collected, exactly the opposite of how you’re feeling right now -- and you're not even the one interrogating her.
“i’m going to need a better response than that. but hey, at least i’m not the one being held captive, right?” she comments with a smirk, staring at the mirrored wall with a taunting expression. her gaze is like a direct blow, provoking the anger that’s begging for release behind your gritted teeth. you clench your jaw and let out a frustrated exhale, knowing she can’t hear you or see you from the other side.
the air fills with silence for at least another minute, during which spencer’s eyes drills into the unsub’s like he’s challenging her to a staredown.
“what do you want to ask me?” he poses at last, his gaze unflinching as he tilts his head to the side.
“that’s more like it,” the woman retorts as she toys with the rattling sounds of the handcuffs. “there's something i'd like for you to explain. i asked to speak with a female agent, but they sent in the exact opposite. why?"
spencer squints, his eyes a telling desire for her elaboration.
“who are you trying to protect?”
there’s no response from spencer’s end.
after a pause, she whispers, “it’s someone on your team, isn’t it?”
spencer’s eyes shift to the floor before he can stop himself, a millisecond of a reaction that doesn’t go unnoticed by the unsub. she raises her brows, curiosity plaguing her expression.
“do you have a girlfriend, spencer?”
you breathe and bite down on the insides of your cheeks.
that’s enough.
“i’m going in, hotch,” you announce, leaving the room with angry strides drowning out the sounds of hotch’s calls to stop you.
02 - a damn shame.
“agent l/n,” you announce as you swing open the door, entering the room with the echoing clacks of your heels.
“and you must be the girlfriend. we meet at last,” she says with a beaming smile, and her greeting instantly crumples whatever patience you had left for her. “i’d shake your hand, but i’m stuck in these really tight cuffs.”
“where is she?” you demand, pulling up the seat next to spencer.
“are fbi agents even allowed to date?” she counters, ignoring your question with a lousy sigh.
you snap your fingers and point to the photo to divert her attention. “you wanted to see me and i’m here. now give us the location.”
she pouts, tilting her head to the side as she looks you up and down. you feel uncomfortable under her scrutinizing gaze but you don’t show it, for you know the mind games she’s trying to play.
“you two have any children?” she hums, finally tearing her gaze away from you. it latches onto spencer instead, and she licks the corner of her lips in a sickeningly perverse move.
“no,” spencer responds. you can tell that agitation hasn’t soiled his tone, while yours certainly has, tainted through and through.
“such a damn shame. i’d be jumping at the idea to start a family with him, if i were you. he's hot,” she utters while flashing her teeth, and you clench your jaw in disgust. if she's trying to make you feel jealous, those words definitely aren't going to cut it.
“here’s how it’s going to go. you say the location now, or any deal is off the table,” you hiss, slamming the table with one hand.
“i stand corrected,” she says with a slight chuckle, pretending to act apologetic as she playfully mouths a sorry in your direction. “i’ll tell you under one condition.”
“and what’s that?” spencer asks, watching intently as she wets her lips.
“i want you, doctor reid, to slap her on the face.”
03 - do it.
“no.”
spencer immediately stands and grabs your hand, preparing to storm out of the room with the photo in his other hand.
you don’t know how to react to what she’s just said, when the cruel smile tugs at the corner of her lips and a wicked laugh exits her mouth.
“it’s just one slap in exchange for saving a life. i think i’m being generous here,” she continues while spencer’s grip on your wrist tightens.
“no. and you know what? you won’t see the light of day for as long as you continue to respire on the face of this earth, i’ll make sure of that. no one will ever visit you, no one will remember your name, and the only happiness you’ll feel is when the dust of your bones celebrate no longer having to tie its essence with yours.”
spencer spits the words like daggers, and drops the eloquently compiled strings of utter violence like bombs in her face. you wish you had the same composure to rebuke her, but you sit in silence, completely stupefied. that's her request?
“we’re done here,” spencer reiterates and coldly turns his shoulder against the unsub. he tugs at your hand to follow him out, but you don’t move.
“spence,” you say instead, and look up at him. your hesitation draws an amused smile from the woman.
you feel the tears prick your eyes and stifle a choking cry as your boyfriend's figure starts to swim in your water.
as much as you hate the terms of the deal, it’s the only way you’ll get her answer. and if it means sustaining a smack to the cheek for five seconds, then so be it.
“do it. please.”
spencer’s mouth drops and his face contorts into a look of horror. his eyes gloss over yours with disbelief at what you’ve just said. you flinch when the unsub starts to holler maniacally, slamming her hands repeatedly against the table.
“you heard her, do it!” she yells, fuming with excitement.
“no, i won’t,” he grits as he turns to face the woman with bloodshot eyes, “is this funny to you?”
“very. look at her, she’s practically begging you to do it. why don’t you? you’d be doing a great favor,” she shrugs, moving her fingers to her lips and pretending to zip them shut.
the worst part, you know spencer won’t do it. so you grab his hand and raise it, high enough so that his palm lies a few inches from your face.
“it’s okay, just do it,” you whisper, urging him with pleading eyes. angie has at most three hours left to survive, and you have no other leads. so what choice do you have?
“no!” spencer shouts and forces his hand out of your grip.
“it won’t hurt, i promise,” you assure him, doubling down with your words.
he looks at you with such soft eyes, raised brows and parted lips, you want to slap yourself for him. it’s so unfair.
“close your eyes, please,” he finally lets out with a quivering exhale, the sad glimmer in his eyes an apology in itself. this is it, this is what it’s all coming down to. in exchange for securing the girl’s safety, you're paying the price with your dignity.
04 - do you trust me?
you clench your fists and wait for the stinging contact of his outstretched palm.
but it never lands.
instead, the softest lips press against your left cheek, warmth instantly seeping through your skin when it lands. you open your eyes to see spencer, slowly pulling away after planting the kiss on your face. you take a step back in shock, but his hand’s wrapped around your waist, holding you in place.
he wipes the tears that are watering the surface of your eyes and brushes your cheek gently.
“did you really think i was going to hurt you?”
you restrain your sniffles as best as you can, but you can't help it when one escapes. he grasps your hands as you hold back the stream of tears threatening to wet your skin.
the unsub groans and the both of you turn to face her.
“oh how romantic. but now you won’t ever get your answers,” she tuts, shaking her head in disapproval.
spencer chuckles, and she looks up in surprise.
“actually, i don't think we’ll need your help. you know what i think?” spencer starts, pressing his hands against the table and leaning over her with a stance meant to intimidate.
“you force others to do it. you force the victims to plot against each other and kill. you get off on the fact that you can manipulate others to inflict violence for you, just like you tried with me. this,” spencer continues as he lowers his gaze warningly, “was a mere test to my hypothesis, and you just corroborated my theory.”
“which is why all of this is happening in your mother’s home, where she forced you to kill the woman with whom your father cheated. she manipulated you and you followed her footsteps to become a manipulator yourself,” you say, jumping at the conclusion that spencer’s setting you up for. it all makes sense, and you’re able to put the last pieces of the puzzle together with his ingenious account.
“bullshit,” the woman blurts, dropping her fists against the table.
“it won’t be when we see you in court for all four accounts of murder and an additional charge for threatening abuse by proxy against a federal agent,” you finish as she grimaces.
“the two of you won’t last,” she ignores, her face blazing with rage.
spencer looks at you with raised brows, a look of challenge immediately signaling to you what to do next. you laugh in response, locking eyes with the unsub as you wrap your arms around spencer’s neck and lean in, kissing him on the lips with graceful fluidity. you deepen the kiss when you see her look down in disgust, caving in and yelling to be taken away on her own volition.
a sigh finally laxes from your lips when morgan enters the room to take her away, winking at the both of you as he leaves. spencer doesn't seem to care, though, and pulls you in closer.
"do you trust me?" he asks, your foreheads pressing against each other.
"always." you smile and stand on your toes to kiss him again.
you’ve never tasted revenge this sweet in your life.

As you rush into the building, trying to avoid the construction team surrounding the place, a timid smile crosses your face when you spot Joel, the man responsible for why you’re running late this morning. Instead of getting ready for work like you were supposed to, Joel Miller decided he wanted to spend his morning coaxing another orgasm out of you, as if the three last night weren’t enough. It’s been a couple of months of this.
It had never been your intention to start sleeping with the hot contractor who had been doing construction at your place of work, you both just happened to be at the same bar one night. One thing led to another and now it’s been this, whatever this is.
“Mornin’ guys,” you say passing the crew, each giving their own sort of greeting back, be it a grunt of acknowledgment or repeating the greeting.
“Mornin’ ma’am,” Joel says with a cheeky smile, “Runnin’ a little late?”
“Yeah, woke up late,” you shrugged, feeling your face heat up.
“There you are!” Becky shouts, making her way towards you, “Angie is up my ass right now about where you are with those reports you said you’d get done yesterday.”
“On it,” you sigh, “Nice talking to you Joel.”
“Oh!” Becky said with a smile, grabbing his bicep, “Hi Joel! You guys sure have been working hard on all of this.”
You try to keep your eyes from rolling at Becky’s consistent attempt at flirting with Joel. She has definitely tried her hardest to get his attention, made cookies “for the crew” but only handed some of them to Joel, tries to talk to him every chance she can, wearing lower cut tops so her cleavage is on full display, batting eyelashes and laughing at any dumb thing he says. It’s starting to get on your nerves, if you’re being honest. Making your way to your desk you open the drawer, shoving your purse inside before closing it and turning on your computer. You open the teams app, sending Angie a quick message to let her know you’ll put the file with the reports in the folder outside her door, grabbing the file and making your way to her office.
Becky is still talking Joel’s ear off and you have to stifle your laugh, watching his eyebrows scrunch together and his polite nod before excusing himself. She catches you as you're on your way back to your cubicle to start the work day.
“That Joel Miller is a man,” Becky sighs, walking beside you, “The things I would let him do to me.”
“Oh jeez,” you laugh awkwardly, sitting down at your desk.
“I wonder what his dick is like,” she continues, “I bet it’s big.”
You turn to your computer hoping she can’t see the look on your face because then the jig would be up.
“Uhm,” you say, clearing your throat, “You better be careful. Don’t wanna get turned into HR.”
“Hello,” a frazzled delivery guy announces himself at the entrance to your cubicle. “I have a delivery for you, miss.”
“For me?!” Becky asks excitedly, seeing the bouquet of flowers. The delivery guy nodded, handing her the flowers. “Who are they from?!”
“Uh… Joel Miller?” The guy says, looking at his sheet. Your jaw drops upon hearing his words. Why on earth would Joel send Becky flowers?
“Oh my god!” Becky squeals with delight, grabbing the card, “Aw! Look! It says darlin’ on the envelope!”
Becky opens the card, reading it aloud:
“Figured a pretty lady like you should have some flowers to look at. Been havin’ the time of my life gettin’ to know ya and would love to take you out. He signed it off with a heart and J. Miller! How sweet is that?!”
Beside yourself on handling this, the only thing you could think of was finding the man himself. If this entire thing between you two was just for fun so be it, but you needed answers.
“Real sweet,” you mutter standing up, “I’m…  uh… I’ll be back.”
“Okay.” Becky hums dreamily, staring at the flowers on her desk.
You make your way to the front of the building, spotting Gus, one of the construction guys.
“Can you tell Joel I need to talk to him?”
“Sorry ma’am, he had to leave earlier, something about Tommy.” Gus shrugs.
“Uhm… okay.” You nod, deciding to make your way to the breakroom, sitting at one of the tables trying to collect your thoughts. Maybe it’s for the best that he left. That way the entire building wouldn’t see you blow up. Are you even still supposed to see each other tonight? That had been the plan when he left this morning. What the actual fuck, you think to yourself, give annoying ass Becky flowers to ask her out, and then fuck you? That two-timing son of a bitch!
“So fucking stupid,” you mutter to yourself.
You make it through the workday, as best as you can, trying not to think of Joel and how mad you are all while Becky continues to talk about him all day. What should she wear, wondering where he’d take her, what they would do, should she sleep with him on the first date. Hopefully, the Excedrin will kick in soon to help with the teeth grinding headache you’ve had all day. Walking to your car Becky’s shrill voice rings out wishing you a good evening.
“Yeah, you too,” you grumble, pulling your car door open and throwing your purse inside. You’re still so mad, fuming, seeing red as you drive towards your place. Once getting home, you quickly change into comfy clothes, and see you have a text from Joel.
JMiller: Can’t wait to see you beautiful ;) Leavin’ Tommy’s
You scowl looking at the text. How do you even respond to that? Petty, that’s how.
You: K.
You see the text bubbles pop up, disappear then pop up again before his face shows on your screen with an incoming call.
“Hello,” you snap.
“Hey,” Joel says hesitatingly, “Bad day at work?”
“Well, Becky got some lovely flowers delivered at work.”
“Oh?”
“Yep,” you say with a harsh pop at the end.
“And?” Joel asks, “Is that it?”
“Delivery guy and card said they were from you.”
“Fuck me,” Joel groans “Those were not for goddamn Becky!”
“Sure about that?”
“I got them for you.” Joel argues.
“Yeah, okay.” You huff into the receiver, rolling your eyes. “Look, I get it. It’s fine if you didn’t want this going anywhere but you could’ve been honest with me about it.”
“Fuck, darlin’,” Joel groans, “I do want this going somewhere! Like I said, the flowers were for you!”
“Sure,” you say, shaking your head, “Just be honest, Joel. This has just been fun, that’s it. You’re getting your dick wet, stringing me al—“
“God damn it! I am telling the truth!” Joel growls, cutting you off. “I even have proof!”
“What proof?!” You spit back, “The proof of the flowers you sent Becky? Yeah, I saw them, and the card too. Sweet touch signing it off with a heart and then your name.”
Suddenly there is a knock on your door. You cock your head to the side, hearing the knock sound through the phone as well. Of fucking course, Tommy’s is a five minute drive to your place, making your way to the door you swing it open to see Joel standing there. His nostrils flared, phone held up to his ear, dropping it and angrily stuffing it back into his pocket.
“Just give me five minutes, I swear, they were meant for you and I have fuckin’ proof,” Joel says, holding up a piece of paper.
“What the fuck, Joel?” You groan, smacking your phone onto the entry table.  “Why are you here?”
“I was on my way home from Tommy’s. Figure I’d come here first,” Joel says, holding the paper out to you, “Go on, look at it.”
You grab it, glancing it over. Farrah’s Flowers printed at the top, with your name listed as the order’s recipient, eyes bulging out of your head as you look at him.
“Told you.”
“Wait, then how the fuck did they get to Becky then?”
“Somebody fucked up, that’s all I know but that is my copy of the receipt for buyin’ them in the first place, and that is your name on it,” Joel smirks in triumph, crossing his arms across his broad chest.
Your shoulders relax as you open the door wider, motioning your head for him to come in. He gives a subtle nod, making his way into your home, you slump against the door once it’s closed.
“Joel,” you start, “What the fuck are we?”
He cages you against the door, pushing his lower half into you. You sigh, looping your arms around his neck, looking at those dark chocolate eyes.
“Well,” Joel says, kissing your cheek, “I want you,” placing a soft kiss against your lips, “More than just for sex,” he whispers, against your lips breathing in each other's air causing you to feel a dizzying arousal. Lips collide with him in a hungry kiss, tongues rolling against one another, gasping when his hands creep down to hook around your thighs lifting you, grabbing onto your ass before pulling you away from the door and carrying you to your bedroom.
Joel lays you down on your bed hovering over you, never breaking away from your lips, licking into your mouth with desperation like this might be his last chance. Arousal begins pool in your underwear. Hands gliding down his back, feeling the warmth radiating from him, lifting the bottom of his shirt until he finally lifts to fling it off.
“Don’t want anyone else,” Joel husks, lightly biting your neck, causing you to moan at the sensation of his teeth against your skin, “Just you.”
“Joel,” you whimper as his hand travels down the length of your shirt, pushing it up to expose your tits, ducking his head down. He sucks a nipple into his mouth, swirling his tongue around the stiffened peak before switching to give the other equal attention, kissing a trail down the soft flesh of your stomach until he reaches the top of your leggings.
“Can I?” He asks, looking at you, fingers hooking into your waistband. You give a firm nod and he pulls them off along with your underwear. He sighs once they are off, using his shoulders to spread your legs further apart, “So fucking pretty,” he hums, nipping and kissing along your inner thighs, slowly making his way to your center.
You can feel his breath against your folds, trembling with anticipation for his tongue and lips to make contact, letting out a soft moan Joel begins lapping at your folds, sucking your bundle of nerves into his mouth. Tongue massaging circles against your clit.
“Fuck,” you moan, raking your fingers through his hair and lightly tugging.
Joel’s hum reverberated into your core. His mouth opened and he began to fuck you with his tongue while firmly holding your gaze. You’re back arched at the sensation, letting out a gasp. You roll your hips against his face, his nose pressing deliciously against your clit. He grunts, moving his thumbs to spread your lips, licking a stripe up to your clit and sucking it into his mouth. Your legs begin to shake at the sensation.
“Oh my god, Joel!” You whine, arching your back, feeling the band tightening within your core, begging for release. Joel sinks two of his thick fingers into you causing you to cry out, moving them to massage that sweet spot against your walls, “Yes! Oh my god, fuck!” You could feel the smug smirk on his face, knowing you’re about to come.
“Come on,” he coos, firmly licking your bundle of nerves “Let me have it baby.”
You cry his name out over and over as you feel the waves of pleasure crashing through you. He continues lapping at your folds, wanting to make sure he gets every last drop before you push his head away. He crawls up the length of your body, the denim of his jeans scratching against your skin.
“Good?” He asks, you nod giggling and he smirks, grabbing the nape of his neck you pull him closer to your face, looking into your eyes he whispers a hi. You can’t help the smile that spreads across your face, surging forward to kiss him, tasting yourself on his tongue. He groans into your mouth, grinding his bulge against your center, the rough denim providing friction against your core. His hand moves to his belt, swiftly unhooking it and unbuttoning his jeans. Hands sliding down to help him push the denim off his hips, boxers following suit. You grip his hard length, stroking it from tip to base. Palm spreading the precome over his long thick length. Joel lets out a soft moan at the touch.
“Want you inside me,” you whimper, rubbing his cock against your slick heat. “Please.”
He bats your hand away, grabbing his cock to tease your folds more, rubbing his tip up and down your slit. You let out a moan when his tip catches against your entrance. Only for him to slide back up to your clit, rubbing agonizingly slow circles against you.
“Joel,” you begged, titling your pelvis, “Please, please fuck me.”
Joel smirks, sliding his cock back down to your entrance, feeding you his bulbous head. You writhe, feeling the stretch. He sinks into you slowly, filling you up until his tip kisses your cervix. Fingers gripping his back, each of you letting out a satisfied moan.
“Fuck, darlin’,” Joel murmurs into your neck, nipping and sucking on your pulse point, letting you adjust to his size, “Best pussy ever,” placing gentle kisses along your jaw.
“Joel, move,” you plead, hitching your legs up on his waist, “Need you to move.”
He pulls out slowly before snapping his length into you again, letting out a shaky breath at the harshness of his thrust. Your grip on his back tightens, sinking your nails into his skin. He lets out a hiss as he rocks his hips into you, trying to find that spot that makes you see stars.
“Fuck,” he grunted, “Don’t want anyone else, darlin’.”
Breathy moans shared between kisses, sweat slicked skin gliding against each other. He pushes your thighs back further into a mating press, finding that sweet spot inside your walls.
“Oh my god,” you whine, back beginning to arch, “Right there!”
His cock massages that spot with every stroke, causing your muscles to tighten. You can feel the coil in your belly tightening, walls beginning to flutter around his shaft as he drills into that spot over and over.
“Jesus Christ,” Joel growls, feeling the heat of his skin slapping against yours, “I need you to come, baby. Ain’t gonna last much longer.”
You moan wantonly as you feel his dick twitch inside of you. Joel holding out to make sure you come first. The coil in your belly finally snaps, sending you over the edge, white hot electricity flowing through every limb. He thrusts into you harshly half a dozen more times before his hips stutter.
“Only you, darlin’, only want you,” he grunts, as he empties himself inside you, painting your walls with his sticky release, “only want you.”
Joel collapses, holding himself up by his elbows on either side of your head, nuzzling his nose against yours, placing soft kisses against your lips.
“Only want you,” he sighs.
You spent the next hour, in each other's arms, talking, snuggling and kissing.
“I can’t believe you would think I’d want Becky,” Joel booms with laughter, eyes crinkling around the edges. You smirk playfully, slapping his arm.
“Look,” you giggle, “I didn’t know if her flirting finally wore you down!”
“Hi Joel!” He says in an exaggerated high pitch, batting his eyelashes, “My, you sure have been working hard!” he adds with a girly giggle, lifting his pecs to create some sort of cleavage.
“Oh shut up!”
“Did you see the flowers though? Like actually look at ‘em?”
“Not really,” you sigh, playing with a loose thread on your blanket.
“Purple tulips for new beginnings and love,” Joel says, planting a kiss on your cheek, “Jasmine for devotion,” he continues, kissing your other cheek, “and pink roses for appreciation,” he smiles before kissing the tip of your nose.
“Really?”
“Yep, the florist helped me pick them out,” Joel says, grabbing the back of your neck pulling you into a kiss, “Told ya they were for you.”

Alastor
He is quite amused by the whole ordeal, if not a touch worried for your wellbeing. You're utterly tiny, capable of sitting in the palm of his hand like a tiny doll. His claw gently nudges your cheek, tilting your chin up. Using his own magic proves to be futile. After several attempts he's still unable to change you back to your normal self. He isn't sure why his powers don't seem to be taking effect.
Alastor doesn't let anyone else touch or hold you. Legit will hold you in his hand above his head should Vaggie or Charlie try to get a better look at you.
"No, no, no," Alastor clicks his tongue. "I'm afraid I'm not comfortable in letting my dearest love be held by anyone but me. Surely, you understand." He gives you a little smile, his thumb gently stroking your head.
You aren't a little toy and the last thing he wants happening if Niffty mistaking you for a roach, so he prefers to have you sitting atop his shoulder, his head, or safely tucked into the pocket of his waistcoat with your tiny little head poking out to watch the world around you. As much as he finds you adorable and vulnerable in this state, he does prefer you as yourself. He'll probably head to Rosie first, he wants nothing to do with Lucifer. She always has her ear to the ground and he's certain he'll get you returned to normal soon.
Lucifer
Well, that's new. Lucifer is easily able to turn you back to yourself but he wants to have a little fun first. He lifts you up and presses little kisses all over your face, giggling to himself when you press your hands to his rosy cheeks.
"Can't help it, sweetheart! You're too cute!" He gently nuzzles your cheek, placing a loving kiss to the top of your head. He'll shapeshift himself into a mouse and pretend that you're a little fairy about to battle for Narnia.
When he finally turns you back, he is relieved. He much prefers you as your lovely self where you're able to snuggle into his side and hold you properly to his chest, sharing many kisses between you two.
Husk
Shit, this ain't good, but at least yer havin' fun, baby. Husk sighs, leaning his chin against his paws. His yellow eyes flick back and forth in amusement as you treat the bar counter like your own slip-and-slide, watching as you spin around on the shiny wood with a small squeak.
Husk catches you with his tail before you can slide off, lightly placing you back on your feet mirroring the grin you give him. "I'm glad you're having a good time but we gotta figure out how to turn ya back, hun." He leans back against the stool, hoping Charlie has found something or someone who may be able to offer some help.
Charlie, on queue, comes rushing down the stairs holding a light pink pearlescent vial in her hands. "Let's try this!" She stands triumphantly, proudly holding out the vial in her hands. "A drop or two on their head should bring them back to normal height. I have a feeling this will work, but as Plan B we can go to my Dad!" She beams.
Husk nods, giving you a tiny peck on top of your head that only serves to make Charlie coo. Placing you on the floor, Charlie uncaps the vial. A shimmery fuschia-purple liquid smelling of sweet berries oozes out and gently drops onto your head.
A whoosh of pink and yellow unfurls out and soon you're standing before them as mostly yourself. Your hair is now a dyed vibrant pink. Across the room, Alastor who is casually reading the newspaper, snaps his fingers and poof! Your hair is back to normal!
"You could've helped them this whole time?!" Husk hisses, fur bristling. Alastor hums, taking a sip of his black coffee, "Hmm no, just their hair. Good thing they're back in one piece, yes?" He grins. "Too bad you didn't play a little cat and mouse with them. That would have been a sight to behold!"
Angel Dust
As adorable as you are, Angel is fuckin panicking. He's not quite sure what to do and he's terrified of someone accidentally stepping on you. "Okay, baby, I've got ya, hang on!" Angel places you on his chest fluff, his hand holding you in place. Upon returning to his room, Angel begins to pace, wracking his brain for some sort of quick fix.
Depending on how long this magic lasts, Angel will 100% want to play dress up with you and have you try on cute outfits or perhaps make a cute little dollhouse for you. He's too scared of crushing you in his sleep so until this wears off, he doesn't want to risk anything happening to you. He's also worried about Niffty mistaking you for a bug, so when he's out and about, he keeps you close to him at all times. If he has to leave and can't take you with, he instructs Vaggie and Charlie to look after you.
"Do not let Niffty or the Egg Bois around them, got it?" His stern eyes are narrowed, making an expression that he's watching Sir Pentious. "Keep the Eggies in line."
Vox
What the fuck? He blinks, a jolt of electricity nearly short-circuiting himself. "Babe, what the fuck happened to you?" Vox scoops you into his hands, holding you to his chest. He's doing his best not to panic, convinced this is another one of Alastor's stupid fucking pranks. (Alastor has done absolutely nothing. However, Vox swears any inconvenience that happens to him is caused by Alastor's hands.)
Thankfully whatever has happened wasn't permanent. A tiny explosion of sparkles and a poof blue dust has the futuristic demon stumbling back, sighing when you're standing there at your normal height with a hand pressed to your head.
"Holy shit, what the fuck happened?" Vox presses, grasping your hand and pulling you into his lap. He's cupping your face between clawed hands checking for any sign of injury. "Was it Alastor?" You shake your head, coughing out some blue sparkly dust.
"Nah, got caught under some pollen demon's magic on my way to HQ." You grumble, leaning your head onto your boyfriend's shoulder. Vox sighs, wrapping his arms around your waist.
"Ok, ok, well, you're back," he grumbles. "Don't do that to me again."

Re8 Women dating HCs
Contains: Lady Dimitrescu, Donna Benevento, & Mother Miranda
WLW
———————————————————————
Tags: Light talks of manipulation, narcissism, and sadism, mental health issues, fluff, angst if you squint hard enough, possessiveness, slightly unhinged behavior, MY personal head cannons, very slight suggestiveness, Mirandas fucking God complex, isolation, religious elements, cuddling, poor perception of love, & tax evasion.
A/N: Im working on sm things rn it’s not even funny. Despite that, I desperately wanted to post something, so here’s some of my hc. No these are not all my hcs, these are just some of the REALISTIC ones I have. These are based on my own personal perception of these fictional characters. You are welcome to disagree with anything I write, but you’re not welcome to harass me about it. Please keep negativity to yourselfs. Anyways, please enjoy!
———————————————————————
Alcina:
-It’s not that Lady Dimitrescu is incapable of loving another, I just think it’s the way she would love.
-Carnal, possessive, dangerous, a little crazed even. Nothing about the lady’s love is sensual or soft. She’s powerful, domineering, and boy does she relish in it. Of course she’s aware of all the things she could do, all the things you’d let her do. So willing, so compliant, so easy to control.
-Alcina is a narcissist through and through. You will bend to her will, to her every need. You’re hers, after all. (We still love you thou)
-I feel like her love is very incessant, very smothering for lack of better words. She’s not exactly clingy, but she needs you around, she needs to feel your presence.
-Always, and I mean always watching you. Nothing you do will go past her. She needs to know exactly where you are and what you’re doing at all times.
-A bit emotionally manipulative. Of course she doesn’t see it that way, she just wants everything to go her way. What’s so wrong with that?
-I think for the most part she’s a little self aware about her flaws and what not, but I wouldn’t say this with 100% certainty. A big part of her doesn’t really see a problem with the way she is. It’s absolutely normal.
-But to be fair, it’s not like anyone would call her out.. so🤷🏻‍♀️
-Pet names pet names pet names. Alcina absolutely adores them. She only really uses your names unless she’s really pissed. In that case, run.
Donna:
-Shy. So incredibly so that you don’t hear her voice till weeks after working for her. And the way your jaw fell to the ground when you heard it had Angie belly laughing on the ground. If it wasn’t for her, you thought maybe you were hearing things.
-Forgets to eat often. She gets so preoccupied with her dolls, she doesn’t always take the best care of herself. So make sure you remind her to eat:(
-It’ll take AGES to get Donna there, but when you do, she is nothing short of the wait. Very passionate, and a little unhinged.
-Like Alcina, she’s a bit possessive.
-She finally found someone she was comfortable with showing her scare, you’re not going anywhere. You belong to her and that’s final. You’re literally stuck, so get comfortable.
-Values your opinion over everything. Her cooking, her sewing skills, her Garden. Donna swoons at praise. A light pink dusting her cheeks any time you compliment her, no matter how minor.
-Poor Donna has been alone for quite some time now. Touch starved as well as touch repulsed. Have fun with that :)
- Canonically, Donna has really bad mental health issues, which causes her to lash out and make rash decisions. She’s not abusive by any means, just a lot to handle.
-She gets into her own head a lot. Constantly convincing herself none of this is real. That one day she’ll wake up and you’ll be gone.
-I know she has manic episodes. Cannot convince me otherwise. Before you, they were almost unmanageable. Your first experience dealing with Donna during one terrified you. You were so worried about Donna, you had no idea what was happening.
-You tried desperately to comfort her. Unfortunately the voices were stronger than your weak attempts.
-After a while, she finally calmed down and explained that catastrophe as best as she could without scaring you off.
-At first Donna didn’t really understand the purpose of cuddling. It’s not that she didn’t want to, she was just truly confused. After having the significance of cuddling explained to her, she fell in love with it.
-Unironically, she’s the big spoon. She loves holding you, making sure you’re safe in her arms. Now, it’s the only way she can fall asleep.
Miranda:
-This bitch is so crazy.
-All shits and giggles aside, this woman is absolutely sadistic.
-Mind games are inevitable. Especially if she’s truly in love with you, in her dark and twisted way.
-Possessive asf.
-Did I already say possessive?
-Miranda is definitely stingy and will isolate you from your friends/family. Why do you need them when you have her? She’s your Goddess, she’s all you need. Never mind everyone else.
-Definitely the type to tell you to take a nap if you ever say you’re tired of her shit.
-You’re not going anywhere. Nice try, but no.
-I know this is obvious, but her God complex is really top tier. I mean seriously.
-Absolutely loves being worshipped, and not just in the bedroom, if you know what I mean. She wants to be put first, she wants to be your number one priority, your Goddess, your everything.
-She will find a way to incorporate her status & power in everything she does.
-She loves you, but you must always remember your place, under her. Figuratively and literally.
-Despite her cut off personality, she’s definitely a cuddlier. Especially after a long day of failed experiments and aggravating meetings.
-Like Donna, Miranda has been alone for almost a century. She’s so damn touch starved yet also incredibly touch repulsed at the same time. Have fun coping.
-Of course she threatened you if you ever told anyone thou. I mean can you imagine THE Mother Miranda being spooned? Imagine what the public would say.
-Fucking tax evader.
-After she gets Eva back, successfully, she lessens up, but only a bit. Like Alcina, she is the way she is and she doesn’t really see the problem with it.
I want all three of them so badly.

Emily: “I’m really sorry Vaggie didn’t feel comfortable coming back here. If there’s anything I can do to change that-”
Charlie: “Probably not! It was kinda a sign of her endless love for me that she visited haven again at all!”
Emily: “Oh! Oh that’s nice!!”
Charlie: “Which I NEVER would have asked her to do anyway, if I’d KNOWN the truth about her history up here!”
Emily: “Right. I’m so sorry about that too, by the-”
Charlie: “I mean, I’m not the kind of girl who askes her girlfriend to go spend an afternoon sitting across from the people who ripped off her wings! And her eye! And left her slumped against a dumpster looking half dead!”
Emily: “A dumpster?”
Charlie: “Making the woman you love relive all that without even rEALIZING it would be pretty fucked up, wouldn’t it??”
Emily: “V- very.”
Charlie: “IT HYPOTHETICALLY COULD MAKE SOMEONE FEEL KINDA TERRIBLE AFTERWARDS, DON’T YOU THINK?”
Emily: “I’m sure it did!”
Charlie: “H Y P O T H E T I C A L L Y”
Emily: “Could! I could see that, yes, if it HAD happened, that would’ve been…”
Emily: “…”
Emily: “Are you- um, is she, errr.. doing better now?”
Charlie: “SO much better she’s doing SO great these days!!!!”
IN HELL
Vaggie: (lying face down on the hotel lobby floor) “I promise I won’t stop helping you morons when she dumps me. I won’t let her dream die just because I was dumb enough to think I could be part of it.”
Angel Dust: “That’s nice toots.”
Vaggie: “Thanks.”
Angel Dust: “Not sad or stupidly gay or anythin’.”
Vaggie: “Thanks.”
Cherri Bomb: “Sad? Angie, it’s perfect!” (takes picture) “I’ve been thinking this place could use a new rug…”
Niffty: (stepping on vaggie) “Squishy!”
Husk: “Get the fuck off her.” (at vaggie) “You, get the fuck UP.”
Vaggie: “Why.”
Alastor: “Hmmm, because this is PAINFULLY pathetic to watch, even for me?”
Vaggie: “Guess I’ll be here forever then.”
Angel Dust: “Vag-GAY c’mon, ya girlfirend’s not gonna dump ya. What’s the competition even!?”
Vaggie: “There’s an angel up in heaven who's helping Charlie work towards her life long dreams as we speak, and she's taller than me, got more wings than me, not as stabby as me, and also not a mass murderer or a liar or missing an eye.”
Cherri Bomb: "Hey!"
Vaggie: "No offence to the other one-eyed ladies here, but it's different when you've got a fucked up empty eye socket."
Niffty: (sighs dreamily) "I bet losing it hurt soooo baaaaad..."
Vaggie: "Never telling my girlfriend why I'd actually lost it or how it made me look like the deranged murder angel I was, even while she tried kissing it better for me, ended up hurting way worse."
Angel Dust: “That's a point….”
Angel Dust: “...alright, so Charlie’s PROBABLY not gonna dump ya-”
Niffty: “Oh that’s a weird sound!” (giggling) (bounces on vaggie) “I think she’s dying~”
Husk: “If you fucks kill her, I’m telling her demon princess girlfriend and pouring myself a drink to go with your fucking tormented howls.”
Vaggie: (muffled) “what if she’s my ex-girlfriend”
Husk: “…I’ll pour you a fucking drink and listen to your tormented howls.”
Niffty: “ME TOO I’LL LISTEN TOO!”
Alastor: “Dear one, perhaps if you were NOT standing on her skull and compressing her WRETCHED cries into the floor, we could be hearing them already.”
Niffty: “Whoops~ Heheheeh~”
Cherri Bomb: (recording it) “Damn, that groan’s been going on for ages… Bitch has some lung capacity on her.”
Angel Dust: “Point one for Vag-gay! Probs as good eating out as ya are at HOLDING out on ya girl!!!”
Vaggie: “uuuughhh…uaauuugghhaaaAAAAAAAAAAaaahhhhrrrgh..” (whimpers)
Niffty: “Okay.” (GIGGLES) “NOW she’s dying~” (bounces)
IN HEAVEN
Charlie: “Everything’s totally fine I have NO idea why you’d even ASK!”
Emily: “You’ve spent the entire time up here staring at pictures of Vaggie on your phone?”
Charlie: “I’m allowed to look at my girlfriend!”
Emily: “While crying and sniffling into your sleeve?”
Charlie: (sobbing) (desperately patting down her jacket) “SHE’S THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS WHICH OF MY POCKETS HAS THE HANDKERCHIEF IN IT, OKAY??”
Emily: (smiling) “I think you two are going to be just fine.”
Charlie: (BLOWS NOSE LOUDLY INTO JACKET SLEEVE, which catches on FIRE)
Emily: “…..not your clothes, though. You might need a new set of those.”

So Hear My Voice Remind You Not to Bleed
Pairing: Daryl Dixon and Fem!Reader (pre-relationship)
Setting: Alexandria
Warnings: Typical TWD violence and gore; Injuries; angst
Summary: You're injured and benched, unable to go with Daryl on runs. When someone else is brought in to take your place, it does not go well.
A/N: for @darylsgarden. I had mixed feelings about this and had a couple of wonderful friends ( thank you @shadowcitrine and @enlightndone!🩵) read it and help me out. I hope it's at least close to what you were looking for 🩵

“It doesn’t even hurt.”
“Uh huh.” Daryl stopped preparing his bag and stepped across the living room, beckoning you with a wave of his hand. “Then walk over here without limpin’.” You narrowed your eyes and pushed yourself up off the couch, setting your jaw.
You didn’t even make it a single step before falling forward with a choked off shout.
And, of course, he was there to catch you as you crumbled.
“Thought so.” He said with a hint of a smirk, depositing you back onto the couch. “Doc said ya gotta stay off’a it a couple’a weeks an’ that’s whatcha gonna do.” You whined and flopped around like a fish out of water. “Stop.” He chuckled, grabbing his bag. “Got paired up with someone who just got here ‘til ya get better.”
You stilled, brow creasing. “You got a new partner. Who said? Rick?”
Daryl continued to shoulder his bag, then his crossbow. “Deanna.” Why would Deanna step in? “Said she needs to see what the woman can do to help. She’s s’posed to be good with a bow but I dunno.”
Woman? Bow? You already didn’t like this suggestion. “Oh.” It was all you could think of to say. You didn’t want him to go before when you thought he was going out alone. Now that you knew he was going with a strange woman, you really didn’t want him to go. But why? Daryl was your best friend. You didn’t have any say in his comings and goings, and why should you?
A knock on your door startled you out of your thoughts, Daryl watching you with a flat expression.
“Guess that’s her. See ya.” He started toward the door, and you found yourself leaning nearly off the couch to see who was on the other side. When he opened it, your breath caught.
Her long blonde hair was tied back in a ponytail, a bow and quiver somehow anchored to her back. She was almost as tall as Daryl, lean and curvy in all the right places. Shit. She was gorgeous.
“Uh, bye.” You muttered. Daryl didn’t even regard you. Maybe he hadn’t heard. Or maybe he was too busy ogling the beautiful woman in front of him. You couldn’t tell from his position. What you could see was the woman giving your run partner an appreciative once over before smiling.
“Hey! You must be Daryl. I’m Angie.” She held out a hand, which the archer ignored with a grunt, pushing his way past her to walk to his bike. He was taking the bike? You sighed. You weren’t supposed to care. Daryl was your friend. Not your—he was your friend.
And you just kept telling yourself that.
Even a week later, when you were able to be up and about but not without difficulty, things felt—different. Daryl was always gone with Angie, like he was at that very moment. Now that you could actually move, you went about slowly cleaning up the house the two of you shared and started making something for dinner. You could leave Daryl’s in the oven for him to eat later.
You had just finished your own when you heard the roar of the bike, saw the headlights illuminate the walls inside the dining room window, sending the shadows scattering. You found yourself excited to see him, to show him you were mobile. Hobbling over to the window, you felt silly for the ridiculous smile splitting your face but you didn’t feel that way for long.
Angie was standing in front of Daryl at the bike, her bow in her hand at her side. He had already unlatched his crossbow from the back of the bike and had it across his back. She was smiling brightly with her perfect teeth and small creases next to her bright blue eyes, looking every bit like a model in the middle of the apocalypse. And Daryl—his lips were turned up on one side, a very Daryl smile that he gave when he was relaxed and in a good mood.
You had known the man since the quarry and it had taken months to earn that smile. Angie was getting it in less than a week?
You should have turned away. Spying on them wasn’t right. Daryl wouldn’t be pleased if he caught you, no matter what he was doing. He never liked feeling as though he was being watched too closely.
You should have turned away but you didn’t.
And then you wished you had.
Angie reached out as she spoke, her words muffled and distorted through the glass. Her long, slender fingers wrapped around his bicep and squeezed, her thumb stroking the skin there. Daryl glanced at her hand but that was it. He didn’t ask her to remove it, didn’t step back to increase the distance between them.
You didn’t want to admit that you were jealous. Even as your mind and heart both screamed only I can touch him that way—for two entirely different reasons—you refused to grant it a name.
You couldn’t take anymore, limped away from the window and climbed the stairs with more than a few whimpers of pain. Daryl would usually help you to your room at night and back down in the mornings. But you didn’t want to see him, felt an anger toward him that was just as confusing as it was unjustified. You felt the same anger toward Angie, a woman you knew nothing about beyond the things Daryl would tell you.
And he didn’t tell you a lot.
You still should have been happy that Daryl both wanted to share something with you and that he had found someone that seemed to make him happy enough to gab about them, limited as it was.
But you weren’t happy.
It hurt. You hurt. Your heart felt constricted, wrapped in a cord that would tighten with each breath, faster and faster with each moment you spent thinking of him just outside, smiling at her.
She didn’t deserve his smile.
She hadn’t been there when Merle was left behind in Atlanta. She hadn’t been there when Sophia went missing and Daryl ran himself ragged trying to find her. She wasn’t the one to care for him after he’d fallen and was shot. She hadn’t been the one whose arms he’d finally chosen to let hold him when Merle died. She hadn’t run to him and felt his relief at being reunited after Terminus. She hadn’t walked along with him and coaxed him to drink just enough water to stay alive on the road. And she damn sure hadn’t stood up and told everyone he needed his own place in Alexandria so he wouldn’t feel more trapped than the gates already made him feel.
That had been you. Always you.
The door opened and closed downstairs, your name being called. You could hear the concern, knew it would be there at not finding you downstairs. You shimmied out of your jeans and climbed into bed—your back to the door—and just listened. Daryl methodically looked around, his voice carrying from different rooms throughout his search. Your room would be last because it would be the last place he’d think of you being. Not without his help.
The oven door opened and closed, too quickly for him to grab the food. He was checking to make sure you had been there. Likely spotted your used dishes as well. You barely heard his boots on the stairs. Daryl, for all his height and muscle, moved like a spirit. Still, you knew his gait, what to listen for that signaled his approach.
You drew up the comforter just as the soft knock came and a quiet call of Y/N? that you decided to not answer. The light from downstairs was pale in your room, starting on the floor and soon bathing your bed and walls. He didn’t say anything, simply closed the door and descended the stairs just as quietly.
And somehow, that’s what made the tears come.
Tumblr media
There were two days of tense air in the house before Daryl’s next run. Your ankle had improved but you were still unable to put weight on it. Denise advised you to stay off of it but you had waved her off with a yeah yeah, absolutely zero intention of heeding her advice.
When you arrived at your home, Angie was already leaning against Daryl’s bike like she belonged there. The sight infuriated you. Your attempt to pass her by was quickly foiled by the woman herself, her hand coming up to tap a finger on your shoulder.
“It’s Y/N, right?”
Sighing, you turned, sitting your bad foot up on the toe of your boot to keep the pressure from taking you down. “Yeah.”
“I’ve been dying to meet you. Daryl’s told me a lot about you.”
“Funny. He hasn’t told me much about you.” She didn’t seem fazed. I’m glad he’s so chatty with you. “Nice to meet you.” You said in place of your inner monologue. “Excuse me.” You started to turn when she stood straight.
“Hey, uh—I was just wondering. Are you and him a thing?” She flipped her hair—braided today—over her shoulder.
“A thing?” You knew exactly what she meant, but feigned ignorance. It was not a conversation you wanted to have.
“Yeah, you knowa couple.”
Closing your eyes, you inhaled through your nose and exhaled through your mouth. “No. Why?” You didn’t even realize you had clenched your fists until her eyes flitted down and back up, forcing you to relax lest she tell Daryl you were being hostile toward her.
“No reason. He’s a great guy, isn’t he? Handsome too.” Now she was just trying to push your buttons.
“Yeah. The best, actually.” Don’t cry, don’t cry, do not cry. “Don’t hurt him.” You said flatly—a clear warning—and limped your way up the steps and inside.
“Where ya been?” Daryl’s voice greeted you before the door had even closed. He was on the couch, lacing up his boots. You regarded him silently for a moment, allowing Angie’s words to sink in before setting your jaw and squaring your shoulders.
“I’m going with you today.”
His hands stilled, frozen for a moment before he sat back a little and placed his forearms over his knees. Piercing blue eyes scanned over you before settling on your bum ankle, the urge to place your foot flat on the floor too intense to disregard. “Nah. Y’ain’t ready.”
“You don’t get to make that call.” You snapped, more harshly than you had intended, but it got your point across. His eyes narrowed, his own jaw tightening.
“Maybe not, but I do get to say who goes with me an’ it ain’t you. Not today.” The archer went back to his boots while you gaped at him, lacing the right one up before getting to his feet and grabbing his things.
“Why not? Because suddenly Angie is better than me?”
Daryl scoffed. “Stop.” He went for the door, opening it a couple of inches before your palm landed flat against the surface and shoved it closed. “The hell ya doin’?!”
“I won't stop.” You mocked, drawing your lips back in a snarl. “You’ve been up her ass since you met her. Hardly ever here and when you are, you don’t even talk to me.”
“The fuck you on ‘bout? We go on runs, get the things people need. Ya forget food an’ meds ain’t just down at the convenience store anymore, Y/N?” He pulled the door open again, and again, you pushed it shut. “Let go.” His voice had dropped into that serious tone, the warning before the anger.
“No. I’m going with you. I’ll let you open this door when you agree to that.” You stood straighter, tucking your lip between your teeth to stave off the whimper when you dared place your weight on the healing ankle. Of course, Daryl and his hyper awareness caught it.
“Guess it ain’t openin’ cause y’ain’t goin’.” He tried once more with the same result, this time letting his burdens fall to the floor in order to face you, nearly nose to nose. “Alright, ya got my attention.” He growled. It had been so long since he had spoken to you with such enmity, you couldn’t suppress a jarring flinch.
Swallowing hard, you attempted to control the wobbling of your bottom lip. “Please, take me with you.”
“How many times I gotta say no?! Y’need to take your ass to that couch an’ let your damn ankle heal ‘fore I even think ‘bout lettin’ back out there.”
“Daryl.”
“No, Y/N.”
With a deep breath through your nose, you stepped backward, freeing up the space. “Fine. But maybe you should stay with Carol for a while when you get back.” Giving him your back, you didn’t bother to hide the limp.
“Y’don’t mean that.”
You needed to force yourself to keep walking when you heard the dejection in his tone. “I do.” You didn’t. “I don’t need you here.” You did.
“Y/N—”
“Angie’s waiting.” You detoured at the last second and veered into the kitchen, seeing him from the corner of your eye, his hand lowering as if he had been reaching for you. Your heart was beating in your ankle by the time you were leaning heavily against the countertop.
When the door closed, the floodgates opened.
Tumblr media
Two days. Daryl and Angie had been gone for two days. It wasn’t anything new to be held up on a run, but there were always close calls involved and you couldn’t imagine Daryl battling his way through herds or humans without you at his side. The two of you predicted one another’s movements, flowing and fighting together like a well oiled machine, always ending up victorious and on your way home.
Did he have that with her now?
“You know it’s not like that with the two of them, right?” Carol looked up from beneath her lashes as she chopped up the herbs and available vegetables for the stew. You knew it was more of an admonishing statement and not entirely a question.
“I don’t know that and neither do you.” You replied bitterly before tipping your glass to your lips. Carol smiled, that suspicious grin like she knew something you didn’t.
“I know Daryl.” She picked up the cutting board and used the knife to scrape the occupying ingredients into the pot. “Why does it bother you so much anyway?”
“He’s my best friend.” The answer came out a little too quickly.
The other woman chuckled. “Is that all?”
“Yes.” You countered almost gibingly. She only spared you an arched brow before turning to place the pot on the stove. You decided to ignore the intensely foreign fluttering in your chest and began spinning the glass between your palms. “Do you think they’re okay?”
“I—”
The knock at the door was sudden and urgent, repeating after only a few heartbeats. Your questioning expression met Carol’s. Spinning on the island stool, you eyed the door until it was opened. Carol’s hand on the edge tightened until her knuckles were white, but you could only make out quiet words and someone’s heavy breaths. Hobbling from your perch, you grabbed the door and pulled it back further.
Angie was a mess, covered in dirt and blood and walker innards. “Y/N.” She panted.
Your heart dropped into the pit of your stomach. “Where’s Daryl?” You didn’t remember ducking beneath Carol’s arm or pushing past Angie. The pain in your ankle became a mere afterthought as you walked backwards toward the steps, awaiting information.
“He’s in the infirmary. He’s asking for you.”
You didn’t wait, running with only the slightest hitch in your step. Daryl was more important than any amount of discomfort. Your mind was running rampant with scenarios. What if he was bit? Dying? What if he died before you made it to him? The last thing you had said to him was that you didn’t need him.
And it was such a lie.
“Y/N, wait!”
You tried to ignore her, the infirmary within sight. You needed to get to him so that you could breathe again.
When her hand caught your shoulder, you reacted almost violently, throwing her away from you and almost to the dirt. “What?!” You bellowed. “What could possibly be more important than Daryl right now?!”
“Lana is!” She answered quickly. “My Lana!” Breathing heavily, you shook your head and threw out your arms, a silent but gestured question. “My wife.”
You felt like the wind had been punched right out of you. “Your—your wife?” Damn you, Carol!
“Yeah. I think there’s been a huge misunderstanding.”
“You’re telling me.” You muttered, looking toward the infirmary with an expression of remorseful longing.
“I asked those questions because—because that man is so obviously head over heels for you that it’s absurd he hasn’t made a move. I thought maybe—maybe I could push things along.” She rubbed at the back of her neck, her eyes brightening at something she saw just over your other shoulder. When you turned, a dark haired woman was making her way over, a toddler on her hip. “I just—he’s not much of a talker—until I mention you.” Another glance at the other woman. “I’m sorry.”
When she started to leave, you reached out a hand, the new information still pinballing around in your head. “I’m sorry.” You had treated her—thought of her—so unfairly, and still, she smiled at you.
“Go on. He’s waiting for you.” And then she was walking away to kiss her wife before converting to a motherly gentleness, her lips pressed to her son’s forehead.
God, you were an asshole.
To her.
To Daryl.
Your ankle only received a moment to remind you it was still weak before you continued your journey to the infirmary.
“M’fine! Quit proddin’ at me!”
The sound of his voice gave your heart permission to beat again. You stood at the door, listening to him argue with Denise until the woman finally gave up with a huff and a clang of metal. Opening the screen door, you limped inside with a hiss, the adrenaline draining out of you, no longer blanketing the pain. You would definitely be set back a week or so after this.
Daryl was on the exam table, filthy and cut up, shirt open and left foot propped up on a pillow. You could have laughed at the irony if you weren’t so relieved at seeing him there and breathing and whole. Alive.
His ranting came to an abrupt halt when he noticed you in the doorway, eyes softening. His entire body seemed to visibly relax with an audible exhale.
“Y/N.”
You didn’t even try to control your quivering lip this time and rushed to cross the distance even with Denise scolding you in the background.
Your arms wound around his neck and his around your back. “Daryl. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean it—I didn’t—”
“S’fine. Know ya didn’t.” He whispered against your temple. Denise cleared her throat behind you and the weight of one of Daryl’s hands disappeared before returning with renewed pressure. The sound of the door opening and closing signaled that he had—in one way or another—told Denise to get lost. Neither of you spoke until you pressed your face into the side of his neck and began to sob. “Hey, m’okay. Just fell on my ass.”
“How?” You sniffled.
“Window was in my way.”
You laughed wetly, his shoulders bouncing with a breathy chuckle of his own.
“Idiot.” You chided, pulling away to wipe at your eyes. He watched you gather your bearings, blue eyes dancing between yours. “Are you really okay?”
“Yeah.” His hand was so gentle against your face, thumb sweeping over your cheek to wipe away the tears. “Need to talk to ya ‘bout Angie.”
You shook your head but placed your hand upon his so that he didn’t dare move it. “She beat you to it. I’m so sorry. I was being a jealous asshole.” He tilted his head and squinted.
“Jealous cause I was spendin’ so much time ‘round her?” It was like he knew the answer that you hadn’t quite accepted as truth yourself.
“Among other things.” You rubbed your lips together and ducked your head. Daryl hummed in question, his hand sliding down to your jaw, thumb absently stroking across your bottom lip. Your voice instantly decided to become lost in your throat, your mouth opening when his hand fell away. “Daryl, I—” You almost bolted, felt the insane urge to run begin to vibrate throughout your legs from a nervous twitch that started in your stomach and spread throughout your chest.
“That man is so obviously head over heels for you—”
Your lips were on his before your brain had even fully given the order for you to move, likely startling you just as much as it had him—if the sharp inhale through his nose was anything to go by. So, you stayed there, frozen with your mouth against his, neither of you moving until it was so awkward that you thought more than once of how great it would be for the earth to open up and swallow you. Humiliation coloring your cheeks, you began to pull away—and then his mouth moved over yours, his warm palm coming to rest on the side of your neck. Brilliant as you were, you pulled back in shock, wide eyes blinking at him. Cerulean pools were shimmering with horror and shame.
“That bad, huh?” He asked, dropping his hand and picking at a patch of dry skin on his palm. His eyes lowered to follow the movement.
“No!” You blurted. Daryl actually flinched and reeled back. “No, no. It wasn’t—there’s no way it could be—ah, fuck it.” Your hands cupped either side of his face, pulling him to meet you in the middle. There was no hesitance on either side, mouths moving, tongues dancing, a delicate exploration of new territory, both literally and figuratively. His hands settled on your ribs, fingers flexing, trying to pull you closer when there was already so little space between you.
When you parted, it wasn’t from a lack of oxygen, but from Daryl attempting to alter the angle, forgetting that you were no longer alone in the land of bum ankles.
“Ow, ow, ow!”
You pulled away and jumped back, hands in the air to ensure he knew that you were no longer touching him—as if he weren’t already missing it. “What? What happened?”
“Ankle.” He hissed, gingerly placing his foot back on the pillow. Once the pain had ebbed, he chuckled and beckoned you back over with a wave. “Looks like we’ll both be trapped at home, sunshine.”
“There are worse things.” You brushed a strand of hair away from his face. “We have to talk about this.” You knew you sounded scared, and you were. Everything had just changed in the blink of an eye, the man you knew as your best friend had just suddenly become more, and it was terrifyingly exciting.
“Yeah, I know. Couch ain’t big enough for both’a our lame asses.”
You giggled and shook your head. “Guess it’s off to Carol’s extra bedroom.” When he arched a dark brow, you etched the most serious expression you could summon onto your face. “Strictly for logical reasoning, Mr. Dixon. We can’t climb stairs. She has one bedroom on the first floor. Lecher.”
“First time I been called that.” He gave you that smile, the one that was so special, and seeing it then, you realized that he hadn’t given Angie that smile at all. It was yours and yours alone.
And you’d need to thank the gorgeous woman with the bow.

EGOIST 14.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PAIRING. Atsumu Miya x f!Reader
CW. plot, angst, sleeping around, atsumu's shenanigans
A/N. beep
-> MASTERLIST.
Tumblr media
Atsumu might like you.
He probably does, but it feels weird and foreign coming out of his mouth, let alone being a thought in his mind.
Never would he have thought he’d have feelings for the likes of you. Romantic, at that.
You were annoying and pesky and there was a point in time  where he’d hate being in a room with you. But somehow you made all of those nasty wants fade away.
He thought that it’d be easy being so fucked up towards you and steering away from your presence. But then you did avoid him. So he thought finally apologizing to you and not being a dick to you would finally free him. But again, it didn’t.
All of these weak attempts of getting away from you and these thoughts of you were pointless if at the end of the day, you’d still live in his head.
And you don’t even know what you do to him. You make him want to be a good person, to not sleep around with all these women. To tip his drivers. It’s gross and not like him at all. Every word he says to you doesn’t feel like him because every word is full of genuinity and kindness. And it’s scary.
Maybe that’s why he finds himself here. With Angie.
To try and get rid of the thoughts of you.
He’s naked beside her own naked body, as she rests her head on his biceps.
“I don’t know why you’re so caught up on her? Didn’t you bully the poor girl?”
“Mm, yeah, like in high school,”
She rolls her eyes before moving a delicate hand onto his chest.
“C’mon, why don’t we just make it official? I’m tired of hearing about her. That’s all you text me about nowadays,” she looks up at him as she pouts.
Hell no.
“Maybe in another life, sweetheart,” he smiles weakly, beginning to slip out of the bed, “Anyways, I have to go to practice, got the playoffs tomorrow.”
“Aw no, stay a bit,” Angie gives him her weak attempt at puppy eyes.
“You know I can’t,” he tugs on his last article of clothing before continuing, “And Angie?”
“Hm?”
“Lose my number,”
———
It’s a shame he had to break it off with her, she was one of his favorites. Not only that, he’s known her the longest. But sometimes things like that are for the better.
“Hey Atsumu,” your voice calls as he walks in.
It catches him off guard, but he returns the greeting, “Oh hey,”
He continues to the court, throwing his back down before beginning to hit his stretches. Atsumu watches as you speak to the coach, rambling about something oh so important on your clipboard.
His eyes wander up and down your figure. Part of him wonders what would’ve happened if you two didn’t stop the other night. Would you have given all of you to him?
Atsumu’s gaze follows you as you make your way to Hinata. Laughing and smiling, nodding your head before moving to the next player. Then the next, then to him. He doesn’t realize you’re in front of him until you actually say something.
“I just wanted to check in to make sure you had everything ready for the playoffs, clean uniform, any kneepads?” you asked, clicking your pen.
“Ah, yeah,” he replies, “if anything I just need a new towel I think,”
He watches as you write something down, “Alright, let me know if you need anything else,” you give him a brief smile before moving onto Sakusa.
The way the smile on your face instantly brightens at the sight of Sakusa ticks him off. But there’s not much he could do, not right now at least.
With a clap of Foster’s hands, all the men get up from their spots and make their way towards him, commencing the final practice before playoffs.
———
Even though you weren’t doing anything physically, you felt nearly as exhausted as the boys were and you instantly fell asleep when you got home.
And thank god that you did, if you were to sleep any later you might’ve just missed your last alarm. You’re nervous while you get ready. So nervous you can’t even eat breakfast, going for a yogurt drink in its place. You can feel your leg shake with anxiety as it holds on the brake at a stoplight.
After parking your car, you meet up with the guys as you all wait to board the bus. You can tell they’re just as anxious, if not more. Even if this is not their first playoff game, it still means so much and more to their career and for them.
You board the bus, setting your stuff down in the empty seat next to you. Taking your place at the window seat, you immediately open your phone and scroll through your socials. You post an Instagram story to the Jackal’s account as they all board.
After clicking send, you put your phone down. Time to finally catch up on sleep.
“Y/N,” or not.
“Can I sit here?”
When you look up you’re met with a man with a messy blonde mop of hair, smiling down at you.
“There’s like, 15 other seats you can choose from and not have a seating partner,” you reply.
“Yeah, I know. Just want to sit here, though,” he fake pouts.
You groan, “Fine,” you begrudgingly grab your bag and tuck it underneath your chair.
You squish your jacket between your head and window to create a makeshift pillow. You can feel his eyes on you, but ignore and let slumber take you under.
———
You don’t know that you have arrived until you are awoken by a rough hand patting your shoulder.
“C’mon,” Atsumu pushes, “we’re here,”
Holding yourself back from snapping at him, you grouchily gather your things and follow him out the bus.
You catch up to Foster and give him the itinerary for the day. The two of you discuss the day’s events as the rest of the guys follow behind you. The lot of you locate your spot in the practice gym before settling down.
You find a little corner to sit in and open your laptop up to review some of the latest matches of today’s opponents, EJP Raijins.
As you scratch notes onto your paper, you listen to the ambience of the guys practicing. The calling for the ball, the sound of skin hitting the ball back onto the ground.
When you’re in your zone, time flies insanely quickly. It’s scary, because you’re scared for the match. Plus it’s broadcasted on national television, and while you’re not the center of the attention, it’s still nerve wracking to think about.
After finishing what you’re able to, you hand the paper over to the coach, which he then quickly turns to the guys and informs them on the rival team’s techniques. You watch them and help guide them through new techniques and tactics they can use to counterattack.
They go back onto the practice court and try to practice said attacks. It’s talent, how easily these men can adapt to a situation.
You gnaw on the inside of your mouth as you watch the ball go from one side of the court to the other in a matter of seconds.
Before you know it, it’s time to go. The guys are changing into their clean uniform, fixing their appearances as camera guys begin to trickle in for any post-game interviews.
And then it’s go time, and you follow the rest of the guys as they find their way to the main stadium.
All the guys look confident, especially so with all the cameras on them. You put on your best “confident” face as well as you walk beside them.
As you find your spot at the Jackal’s side of the court, you join the team as they huddle up one last time. Coach Foster’s voice is loud and proud as he reminds the guys of what they have been practicing. You smile before giving them a sappy, “you got this!”
The men are excused, and you’re about to head for your seat when you hear his voice.
“Y/N,” he starts, causing you to look up at him, “if we win, you have to go on a date with me,”

Mick didn’t expect to find you the way he did when he was leaving your flat to take Angie on her morning walk, he really didn’t – because when he was leaving this morning, after having kissed you goodbye while you were still asleep, everything seemed fine. And although he is not the one to stress in these type of situations, his mind automatically goes to the worst possible scenario when he comes home to you crying on your couch in your bathrobe. So he does the expected, he asks whether you hurt yourself – the answer is no. Did something happen to anyone from your family? Nu-uh. Is it social media related? Nope. Did someone physically did something to you? No Mick, you locked the door before you left the house.
Every possible question that comes to his mind being met with a negative answer from you has him perplexed to say the very least, so he takes a seat next to you and offers what he’s sure will put you in a better mood; cuddles. With you in his arms and Angie on your lap, you do feel better, but he makes sure to ask any other possible option that comes to his mind.
“Did you try to bake cookies again?” His voice wanders off, his fingers running through the ends of your braid.
You lightly punch his arm, and then return your attention back to petting Angie as you pout and mumble out, “My cookies were not burnt, they were lightly toasted.”
He lets out a sigh, and after pressing numerous kisses to your hair to coax you, he gently raises your chin up for you to meet his eyes. “I give up, please just tell me what’s bothering you, hase.”
There’s a fresh wave of tears accumulating in your eyes, threatening to fall down your cheeks, and it absolutely makes his heart clench. You lightly push yourself out of his arms, careful not to disturb the dog sprawled on both of you guys’ lap, “Nothing, you’ll think it’s stupid.”
“No I won’t,” he promises, fighting you in order to gather you back into his arms, but you’re not above fighting dirty – meaning using your nails to keep him away. “Are–” He takes a moment to pause and clear his throat, “Are you on your period?”
Mick watches as your lips part and a sound of indignation break free from the back of your throat. Without bothering Angie too much, you turn in your place to swat at his chest as you hiss, “You are an ass, Mick.”
“Bu– I didn’t mean –” He scrambles to get out, but you’re already walking towards your bathroom, and all he can do is watch you walk away from him. This time, his eyes meet Angie’s, and he can swear his dog is giving him the biggest side-eye known to mankind, but he can only breath out a, “I messed that one up big time, didn’t I?”
Angie gets up from his lap to walk towards the bedroom. Mick soon follows closely behind towards the bathroom.
You can hear his knocks and a faint Can I come in?, through the closed bathroom door, but as you try to tame the mess that is your hair, you call out to him, “No!” And because Mick is a gentleman, and arguably the best boyfriend in the universe, he actually waits outside the bathroom. Eventually, though, you feel bad making him wait outside by the door and with a final glance in the mirror, you stomp a few steps and push the bathroom door open, revealing Mick's concerned face.
“I’m sorry,” he starts, but before he can continue with the rest of his sentence, you cut him off with yet another swat of your hand to his chest and another fresh wave of tears.
“I am not, and I repeat – not, on my period.” With a final hit to his chest, you walk back to your previous spot in front of the sink and try to brush the knots in your hair.
Wincing at the way you’re aggressively dragging the brush through your hair, Mick walks towards you to stand behind you at the sink and gently takes the brush out of your hand. “Here, let me do it.” And though you don’t want to admit, he’s gentle yet successful as he brushes your hair out for you. With his eyes occasionally drifting to watch you over the bathroom mirror, he dutifully manages to finish brushing your hair, and soon after you are back in his arms as he wraps them around your middle. “Now, are you going to tell me what’s been bothering you?”
You shake your head with another sniffle, “It’s not important.”
“Hase, please,” he practically begs as his attention is drawn to your puffy eyes, “it is important if you’re still crying over it.”
With a guilty look on your face and an apprehensive voice that absolutely breaks his heart, you mumble, “You really want to know?” This time it is you who is meeting his eyes through the mirror to see him nod sheepishly, and as you occupy yourself with his fingers you find yourself mumbling again, “My, uh, my boobs are too small.”
“Your what, is what?” Mick stammers in surprise, blinking at the unexpected confession. His expression shifts from confusion to realization, and his fingers tangle themselves with yours. “Hase, are you serious?”
You can feel the heat rising in your cheeks, embarrassed by your own admission. “Yes, and don’t call me that.”
“What?” With more confusion he stammers out, “I– I thought you liked it, it’s cute.”
He watches you let out a soft whimper, and then throw your head back against his chest in frustration. After sniffling and, yet, another fresh wave of tears, which Mick quickly wipes away as he keeps his gaze locked to yours, “I’m not supposed to be cute.”
“Oh?” he asks, “And what are you supposed to be, then?”
“I don’t know!” The sudden sob breaking out from the back of your throat has his eyes widening in surprise, and also concern – but for the first time that morning, you seem to be talking about what’s been wrong, so he has no intention to interrupt you. “I don’t know what I’m supposed to be anymore! I can’t be too perfect or too flawed, too confident or too uncertain; people have opinions and they are not afraid to voice them, so I end up feeling not enough for the majority of time.” Mick’s hold tightens around as you let out a particularly violent sob, “And my boyfriend has bigger boobs than me!”
Mick's eyes widen in both surprise and disbelief as your last sentence tumbles out, and for a moment, there's a pause in the air as he processes your words. “So you’re sad, because you think your boobs are not big enough?”
“Well yeah,” you mumble, suddenly feeling extremely self-conscious under his gaze. “I told you you’d think it’s stupid.”
“I don’t think it’s stupid,” Mick announces, “everybody gets insecure sometimes; what I don’t understand is why on earth you would compare yourself like that.” Mick's fingers gently wipe away a tear from your cheek, and he turns you towards himself to lift your chin up, “You’re perfect the way you are, hase.”
You let out a shaky breath, his words slowly starting to sink in. “I just don’t want to feel like this all the time.”
“I know, darling,” he coos and then offers you a gentle smile, his thumb tracing soothing circles on your cheek. “You’re perfect, you hear me? My perfect girl, hm?” He ignores a whiny objection in the form of you dragging out his name. “The kindest,” he leans in towards you, “and the smartest,” then presses his lips against your forehead, “the most beautiful girl inside and out.”
“Micki,” his names comes off from your lips in a whispery sigh, your head turning sideways as his nose nudges your jaw. His warm breath tickles your skin as he continues to nuzzle against your jaw, his lips brushing over your skin in gentle, feather-light kisses. His lips stretch when you let out a soft giggle, “It tickles.”
Mick's lips curve into a playful smile against your jaw, and he continues to pepper your skin with those feather-light kisses, this time intentionally causing a cascade of giggles from you. His touch is tender, his affection evident in each sweet gesture.
“It does, doesn't it?” he murmurs, his warm breath sending shivers down your spine as he moves his kisses to your cheek.
You squirm slightly in his embrace, the ticklish sensation mixed with delight. “Baby, stop,” you manage to say between giggles, even as your fingers find their way to his sides, retaliating with a gentle poke.
“Okay, okay, I’ll stop.” With a final loving peck to your cheek, Mick relents and holds you closer to himself as your giggles slowly subside. As your giggles subside, Mick tilts his head slightly to meet your gaze. His eyes, still filled with tenderness, lock onto yours, and he brushes a few strands of hair away from your face. “Feeling better?” he asks softly.
After taking a few deep breaths to calm yourself, you give him a tight lipped smile. “I’ll be fine, Micki, I promise.” Ignoring the look he gives you, which tells you that he doesn’t believe a word you say, you reach up to press a gentle kiss to his cheek. “Thank you for being here, you know?”
“Of course, hase,” he mumbles in thought, the material of your robe feeling soft under his touch as he lets the cogs turn in his head. With his eyebrows furrowing, he grabs you by the waist and raises you up to sit you on the bathroom counter. “On the second hand, I think I need to show you just how much I appreciate you, hm?” Ignoring yet another objecting sound from your lips, he places a kiss on the juncture of where your jaw meets your neck, and moves his kisses down until he’s met with your robe again. With a playful glint in his eyes, he lets his fingers work the knot of your robe’s belt.
His eyes widen as his brain registers the fact that you are not wearing anything underneath the robe, and you reply to his flabbergasted look with an innocent shrug of your shoulders as you give him the excuse, “I was about to take a shower before I… well, had a moment.”
You watch as a string of expletives leave his lips, and he needs to take a moment to recover as he mumbles, “Guter Gott.” Though, as your breathy giggles bring him back to the present, he pushes your robe off your shoulders in a quick move, and you realise there is a much darker look in his eyes when your eyes meet again, “And you think my girls are not enough.”
Before you can answer, his hands are quick to grab your breasts as he gives them a firm squeeze, causing you to forget whatever clever comeback you had and instead let out a shallow exhale. “They’re small,” you complain, but he is quick to shut you down by pinching your left nipple between his two fingers – not enough to make it actually hurt, but enough to shock you into shutting up and letting out a small yelp instead.
“Stop talking,” the sharper undertone of his voice has you biting the corner of your bottom lip in anticipation, but his eyes soften as he looks at the bewildered look on your face. “Here’s what’s going to happen,” he fixes you with his stare as his hands go back to gently handling your breasts, “I’m going to fuck you in front of this mirror so that you can see just how beautiful you are, and you’re not going to say a word unless it’s a moan or telling me to stop.”
With a slacked jaw you stare at your boyfriend, your sweet Mick who is soft and treats you as if you’re a china doll most of the time. But now, he looks at you with a stern look in his eyes, and the fact that they are a few shades darker than their normally baby-blue colour tells you that he means business. “Can you kiss me first?” Your voice is breathy, because everything about Mick makes it harder to breath harder, and the corner of his mouth rise in a small smirk as his brain registers the desperation in your voice. “Please.”
“How can I not when my pretty girl is being so well-mannered?” He watches as you straighten up in your place, which causes you to come closer to his face and he lets out a low chuckle. “Patience, baby,” he moves his hands to cup your face and his thumbs gently caress the tops your cheeks. He teases you by dipping his head until his lips are touching yours, and he lets out another chuckle when you chase his lips when he slightly pulls away. But deciding to alleviate you from your pain, he finally presses his lips against yours – though his kiss is nothing like his soft touch from mere moments ago.
His tongue explores your mouth as if he hasn’t kissed you a million times before, but his kiss is as bruising as they come. He draws all kinds of noises from you, with a single kiss, and it would be concerning how much you lose yourself in him if it wasn’t too good. You manage to nip at his lower lip just as he is starting to pull away.
“Gut sein,” he mumbles, the small (but accomplished) smile on your lips bringing a smile to his own. “Now, what do you say to me for the kiss, hm?”
Be good, he says – you can totally do that. His lips move down to your jaw to then your neck, and your lips form a perfect ‘O’ when he starts nipping and sucking on your skin. “Thank you for the kiss, Micki,” you mumble breathily, your hands grabbing his forearms to move his hands from your face back onto your breasts. He lets an appreciative hum as his hands go back to fondling the skin under his hands, which elicits a louder moan from your lips, “Oh, that feels good.”
Mick’s reply comes in the form of another hum as he keeps on sucking hickeys, which will undoubtedly make you complain to him tomorrow, but the way he handles you is enough to convince you not to care. After he’s satisfied with handiwork; he pulls back from your neck to only dip his head more to take one of your nipples to his mouth while his hand is busy groping the other breast, causing you to weave your fingers through his hair to press him closer to your chest. His ministrations, combined with his intention of marking up your chest as he did your neck has you ending up as a whimpering mess on the bathroom counter, calling out Mick’s name to do something more in hopes of him keeping his promise. His voice is husky as he asks, “Now do you believe me?”
Your hands are on him the second he pulls away and his breathing is a mess while you scramble to get off his shirt; your hands gliding across his chest down to the start of his running shorts he has from his morning run, and he has to restrain himself from letting out a groan as you sit in front of him with wide eyes and lips that are pink from all the biting. You voice is also husky as you answer his question with one of your own, “Are you going to fuck me now, liebste?”
He smiles sweetly at your attempt of trying to take back the reigns, and he tries to appear in though as he slowly pulls you off the counter. “In a second, I have to check something first.” He quickly turns you around to face the mirror, where you watch his hand’s movements as it slides from your waist down to the front of your sleeping shorts. The gasp that leaves from between your lips causes his sweet smile to morph into something more mischievous, and you catch his smirk on the mirror in front of you as he lets his fingers feel the wetness between your legs. “You’re soaked, hase, I think you’re more than ready.”
“Yes, please,” your voice comes off in a whimper as you slip your hand behind you to palm the bulge that presses onto your back through the material of his shorts that hang lower on his hips. You let out another moan when his fingers make their way towards your clit, which is his way of reminding you of who’s in charge – and it’s most definitely not you given the fact that you almost topple over the counter when he presses his fingers with slightly more pressure. You hear him let out a low groan when you move your hand slightly, but his fingers continue their movements which causes you to let out small mews of pleasure.
After he pulls his fingers out of your short, and consequently makes a show of licking them clean that leaves you quite literally panting with need. Smirking at your reaction, he taps the outside of your upper thigh, “Spread your legs, baby, watch me on the mirror, hm?” He makes sure to place your hands on the countertop after he’s done taking of the remainder of your clothing and underwear. A part of you is sure he’s secretly enjoying the attention and how good you’re being as you silently watch him ges out of his own shorts and underwear. “You ready?”
“Mhm-hm,” you mumble as you nod quickly and gather your hair on one of your shoulders.
Mick presses his lips on your bare shoulder as he grabs your waist with one of his hands, grabs the base of his cock with his free hand and guides it between your legs – a gasp leaves your lips as the tip of his cock presses into you. He’s slow as he guides the rest of his cock into your pussy, and you drag out his name under your breath. “So good,” he murmurs as his hand joins his other one on your hip, and he tries to keep his hips still to give you an opportunity to get used to it, “always feel so good for me.”
Your hands grab the marble tighter as the stretch has you wanting to just press your hips backwards against his, “Move, Micki, please.”
He meets your eyes through the mirror and chuckles lowly, “Patience, baby,” he repeats his words from before – but he obliges you nonetheless, as he pushes in all the way in a move that knocks all the breath out of your lungs. He is slow as he starts moving his hips in a steady rhythm. But soon he picks up the rhythm, and every snap of his hips to yours has you becoming more and more of a whimpering mess. His eyes capture your blush that is painting your cheeks and he lets his eyes wander lower where it has started to move towards your chest, which he’s more than welcome to adore the view of your breasts moving with every move his hips makes.
The moans that rip from the back of your throat become louder, stronger and more demanding as Mick decides to thrust himself deeper into you – a sweet reminder that you’ll definitely be feeling him for the rest of the day and all of tomorrow. You can’t seem to form sentences with words other than more, please and various forms of his name, but he grants you what you want when one of your hands leave the counter to pull him in for a kiss. It’s messy and rushed, but it leaves you lightheaded as you find yourself begging for more when he pulls away. “No, no, I want more,” a high-pitched whine begs, and you drag out the next word, “please.”
Mick lowers his head enough for his lips to be level with your ear. “Look into the mirror, hase,” his breath hits your skin, and he rewards you with a sweet smile, “you see what I see?”
“I don’t see you giving me another kiss,” you grumble, but quickly stop rebutting when his hips deliver a rather sharp push, “fuck, that feels good.”
“Look how beautiful you look,” he pants, his laboured breath hitting your ear, “the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.” You’re sure your skin will be bruised from the way his fingers grabs onto your hips – not that it would look out of place with other parts of your body he’s already marked you on. “And you say you’re not enough, God, hase.”
Your hand snakes its way from his neck towards his hair as your fingers thread through his locks. “I need more, Micki, please.”
But unfortunately for you, Mick has every intention of  ignoring your pleas. “Do you know why I call you hase?” Between the haze of him fucking you into the counter and his breathy words, you manage to give him a weak shake of your head. “It’s because I love seeing your tits when you’re bouncing on my cock.” To accentuate his point, he holds your hips in place as he delivers sharper thrusts.
“I thought it was because of the way I scrunch my nose,” you gasp while pulling at his hair. Though it is not exactly the part he chooses to focus on – instead, he watches as your already blushed cheeks become a deeper shade. Another gasp, this time laced with a louder moan, is ripped from you when he continues the sharper movement of his hips, “I– Mick, right there!”
“Shh, I got you,” he soothes your moans as he stills the movement of his hips for a minute to hike your left leg to rest it on the counter and then grabs the hand you have raised up to do the same, “hang on for me, okay?” He watches as you give him a tentative look through the mirror as he wraps his arm across your middle to reach for your clit as he harshly pushes himself back into you.
Combined with his thumb applying pressure onto your clit and the way he’s filling you up once again causes you to moan his name louder than before. “I’m not going to last,” the whiny words leave your lips before you can stop them, and he gives you a smirk as his fingers quicken their pace, “fuck, Micki, just like that.”
Lost in the pleasure building up in your lower stomach, you don’t realise his free hand moving up to cup your breast until he’s pinching your nipple between his fingers to draw out another moan from your lips, which sounds more like a scream because of all the please you’re feeling. “Do you see how beautiful you are? Look at yourself, baby.”
“Please Mick,” you let out a moan meddled with a sob as you watch your reflection in the mirror – the way your body is shaking with every movement of his hips and the way his front is pressed into your back, the disheveled look of your sweaty hair, and the way your wide eyes accompany your blushed cheeks, “make me come, please, I’m so close.” Your words must’ve acted as a source of motivation, since he quickens the pace of his hips and presses his thumb more as he continues the steady movements, which has you chanting out nothing but praises and a string of yes, yes, yes, yes.
Regardless of the condom he’s wearing, Mick can tell when you’re close as you clench around him, and he urges you to let go by mumbling into your skin, “It’s okay, hase, let it go.” And who are you to not give your boyfriend what he asks of you? So he’s there to guide you through your release while you sink your nails into his biceps to still yourself. He’s not far as he reaches his own peak and spills into you, which pulls yet another moan from you as you also hear his loud groan – a sound you’ll never get sick of hearing. You gasp lightly when he eventually pulls out of you; though when he sees the tired smile you give through the mirror (and yes, maybe he does call you hase because you do scrunch your nose while smiling), he responds with one of his own as he presses small kisses to your hairline, “There’s my smile.”
“I love you,” your raspy voice whispers, and suddenly you’re lost once again in the way he’s looking at you – a habit you’ll gladly keep.
“I love you too,” he responds, his nose nuzzling your jaw before giving you a sweet kiss, and it makes him chuckle lightly when you’re chasing his lips once again when he pulls away. “Come on, now we both need a shower.” The sounds of your giggles when he picks you up to get both of you into the shower, and as you hid your face in the crook of his neck you hear him mumble, “Mein hübsches mädchen.” My pretty girl.

tpot 13 spoilers, i say a lot here
hopy mopy that was a good episode. love it when tpot decides to get all cinematic. lots of things to talk about
having the cold open and stinger be about firey and leafy is very very interesting (“dreamier island” is adorable idgaf). didn’t really expect them to build off their cameo from tpot 8 like this, they’re obviously setting up another side plot (likely to replace the robot flower one that just ended). i don’t think leafy died in the storm, that’d be too straightforward for that much screen time. i think one got her, for what i don’t know. what kind of deal would she take?? i must think about this more
also speaking of one what the fuck. she moved a whole goddamn hurricane over to the hotel??? she can do that?? ok so maybe she didn’t make deals with bomby and bell, she’s just stealing the eliminated contestants for some reason. AND SHE WANTS TWO GONE DUDE. scary. probably the biggest surprise was her making it so two exitors join instead of one, which reads to me as if she wanted pencil specifically to join for some reason. interesting interesting interesting
can i just say there are some super interesting freesmart interactions here. pencil’s overjoyed to see book and ice cube (cause she’s been trapped in four for four years) but those two looked EXTREMELY uncomfortable to see her. most interesting is how despite still being avoidant of book ICE CUBE DELIBERATELY GETS HER AWAY FROM PENCIL. SHES WILLING TO PUT HER GRIEVANCES WITH BOOK ASIDE TO PROTECT HER LIKE THAT. what the fuck happened between them. idfb i need you to happen please
i didn’t really have any predictions for the eliminations this time around, barf bag i somewhat expected but needle was a bit of a surprise. i thought tpot 12 would’ve made people like her more? oh well. kinda hoped for more gb and pencil interactions from her being on cloudyay but i guess we’ll have more time for those later. liy being on 🎼 is nice cause she has her old friends there, works as a nice fill in for needle’s niche
the old robot flower is back! by the deal with one uh oh. i actually really like how they handled this, everyone else is happy the old her is back but she sounded really hesitant about it because she still has the same issues from before!!! nothings been fixed for her!!! she still has that want to be like flower dude. that plot line better not be completely dead or else. (also thank you tv for the flower cameo ur great. also tv is talking in mashed up clips again letsgooooooooo)
i think i actually need to watch this episode again, there’s so many little details sprinkles everywhere omga. anyway i voted for pin and book and you should too. peace out

“So… do all the dolls have the same size?” you asked curiously, raising your gaze to better observe the brunette's work.
The lady in black looked at you briefly, shaking her head and placing a new dress on one of those new porcelain companions.
“No,” she answered dryly. “It depends on what it's going to be like, the clothes it wears…” she commented, securing the seams.
“Oh,” you said interested, nodding curiously and moving your chair closer. “I see… and… how do you decide what each one will wear?” you asked again.
She shrugged, this time without looking at you.
“I guess I don't think about it, unless it's a special order,” she murmured, focused.
“How many orders do you have?” you asked, letting your curious nature not stop asking.
“Um, not many,” Donna whispered, sighing tiredly. “Little girls don't like porcelain dolls nowadays.”
“Well… it's understandable,” you said, running a hand over your neck and looking at a nearby shelf, where those finished grey dolls seemed to be watching you, giving you a chill. “Some people find them scary.”
“Mm, nonsense,” she said, with a mocking smile.
“Yes…” you sighed, with a shy smile. “It's probably nonsense but… just looking at those lifeless eyes…”
“Do they scare you?” Donna asked, with an amused expression.
“What? Oh, no, no, not me,” you said nervously, pretending to be brave. “They seem harmless… except Angie, of course.”
“Are you scared of Angie?” she asked, frowning.
“Scared is probably not the right word,” you said amused, rolling your eyes. “Rather, what scares me is finding out what new insult she has for me.”
“She's very good at that,” the lady joked, finishing the seams and looking at her new creation. “But you already know that she likes you, don't take everything she says seriously, tesoro.”
“Oh, I know,” you murmured with a tender smile, getting up from the chair. “I think you made her… creepy, didn’t you?”
“I didn’t make Angie,” Donna said, looking down. “She was a gift from my father.”
“Oh, I didn’t know,” you said in a lower tone, as an apology. “Sorry, maybe I’m disturbing you, I can’t help but ask.”
“No, don’t worry, it’s okay to have company,” she whispered, turning her head towards where you were, pulling your wrist tightly to drag your body to hers, sitting it on her lap. “Your company.”
“Mm, well, that’s a compliment,”  you said in a tender voice, letting Donna steal a couple of kisses on your lips while she held you lovingly. “Hey, release me.”
“I don’t want to,” she said, amused, giving kisses on your face, sighing after that little game. “Is there anything else you want to know?”
“Mm, not at the moment,” you said, pretending to think about the answer. “But I'm sure I'll come up with more questions.”
“You always want to know everything,” she said, caressing your cheek and lowering you to the floor after one last kiss.
“Yeah, well,” you said shyly. “Maybe you need my help if you get sick or something, so I like to learn new things.”
“You don't have to worry about that, I never get sick,” Donna said, with a much more serious voice than the situation required.
“Sorry, my immortal, blessed by the Gods lady,” you joked with a childish voice, pretending excessive respect.
“It's not a blessing,” she said, turning around with a sad voice, relaxing her expression.
“W-Well, I think that...” you murmured, nervous because of that sudden cold attitude.
It would be better to change the subject.
“Hey, Donna, I thought that when you're done with your dolls, we could take a walk in the woods,” you said in a loving tone, hanging on the lady's shoulders, kissing her wounded cheek to calm her apparent nerves.
“No,” she said, moving away from your overwhelming touch.
“Why not? It's been a long time since we went for a walk and…” you said frowning.
“(Y/N), it's October, it's cold and it gets dark soon; we're better off at home,” Donna said, with a firm voice, focused again on some pieces of fabric.
“It's true,” you sighed shaking your head and looking around. “But tomorrow we could…”
“What part of it's cold don't you understand?” the lady interrupted, with a dark look at you. “If you want to go out and freeze, go ahead, but don't count on me.”
“I can't count on you for anything, it seems,” you whispered angrily, fed up with the doll maker's passivity and constant refusal to do different things.
“What did you say?” she asked, turning around abruptly. “(Y/N), what…?”
“Nothing,” you said with a sigh, with your hands making a gesture of surrender. “I haven't said anything.”
“I don't understand why you insist so much on leaving the house,” she murmured, with a fleeting glance that pierced your soul.
“I don't like being locked up, when I was little, I used to always be outside, you know, in the woods,” you commented, wandering aimlessly through the workshop. “I love nature, all its seasons. Cold was never an impediment to…”
“Do you mind shutting up for a moment? I have to concentrate,” she interrupted you in an unpleasant way, saying with her attitude that you were really disturbing her.
“Um, um… I'm sorry, Donna,” you said, obeying.
“Mm, don't worry, sometimes I have a hard time getting used to not being alone,” she said after a few moments of silence, lowering that tension.
“And I have a hard time getting used to being quiet,” you joked.
“Sì, that too,” she said, calming your nerves.
Deciding to leave the lady in black alone, you walked around the workshop, curious, as always, observing each of the details that you didn't usually notice, even taking some of those shadowy dolls with your hands.
“Mm, yes, lycans are definitely scarier,” you whispered in a low tone so as not to disturb, assuring yourself that those dolls didn't scare you.
There would never be anything that would cause you more fear than one of those drooling, bloodthirsty beasts. Ever since you were very young, you were terrified of those creatures.
An annoying noise almost made you drop the doll, it sounded like a thunder coming from above.
“Ah!, damn!” you screamed, putting a hand on your chest.
“What's wrong? It was just a thunder,” said Donna frowning, annoyed by your interruption.
“Yes but... well, down here they are worse,” you said embarrassed, returning the doll to its place and scratching the back of your neck.
The lady slowly stood up, walking towards you and grabbing your waist.
“Do you know what scares me, tesoro?” she asked, whispering in your ear. “How beautiful you are…”
“Um, Donna…” you said blushing, accepting a couple of quick kisses from the brunette, who laughed amused. “I love your kisses.”
“I love giving them to you,” she whispered again, fulfilling your wish to feel, again, her lips on yours.
It was a shame that another thunderclap made you jump on the spot, cowardly clinging to your girlfriend.
“Damn it…” you whispered embarrassed, moving away among amused laughs from the lady.
“My little scaredy-cat…” she sighed amused, giving you one last kiss and walking away again, sitting at the work table. “Calm down, tesoro, I have to make the top of a dress, but when I'm done, I'll be all yours.”
“Oh, I like how it sounds,” you said, turning your ankle on the floor, biting your lip, but leaving the lady alone. “I'll wait…”
The silence was interrupted by thunders that rumbled in the walls from time to time. You, trying to ignore them, walked back next to the dolls, observing them with curiosity.
One of them, which stood out among the rest, caught your attention, and very carefully, you picked it up, observing it with interest. It wasn’t a normal doll: it had a colorful dress, with weak, frayed seams.
The doll's face was terribly poorly painted, one eye here, another there, lips of a garish color... it was a complete disaster, and an unbeatable opportunity to continue joking with Donna.
“Wow, I see that there is a first time for everything,” you said amused, arranging the doll's disheveled hair. “This doll is horrible, Donna.”
“Mm? What doll?” she asked without looking at you, cutting a piece of fabric.
“This one,” you said, coming closer and showing her that piece of porcelain. Calling it a doll would be overestimating it, of course. “I think it's the ugliest one I've ever seen.”
The lady turned slowly, opening her eye wide when she saw what you had in your hand, snatching it from you with a nervous gasp.
“Give it to me!” she shrieked furiously, with a childish gesture, hugging that doll. “Come osi?”
“What? Um, I don't understand,” you said nervously. “What have I done?”
“Do you think this doll is horrible, (Y/N)? That's what you said, right?” the lady growled, lovingly placing the piece of porcelain on the table, placing her disastrous clothes on it. “Come on, say it again.”
“D-Donna…” you said a bit scared. “W-Well, you've made better ones, haven't you?”
“Mm, stupida…” she hissed, with a look of disgust. “This doll was made by my sister, it was the first, and the last one she made,” she explained, making you close your eyes due to your mistake. “Mm, tell me, do you think the doll that a nine-year-old girl made is horrible?”
“Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know, Donna, I…” you said trying to apologize.
From the look the lady gave you back, it was too late.
“Didn't you say you knew everything?” the woman in black mocked, with a tone imbued with rage.
“N-No, I said I wanted to know everything,” you said with a very low voice, nervous and embarrassed by your mistake. “Donna, forgive me, I didn't mean…”
“Get out,” she hissed, turning her back to you.
“W-Wait, I…”
“Get out! Porca puttana, lasciami estare!” she shrieked madly, pointing at the door. “Get out, get out, get, out!”
“O-Okay,” you said hastily, running towards the door. “Donna, I…”
“Leave me alone, (Y/N), please,” she whispered in a calmer voice.
You nodded regretfully and left the workshop.
You should have known that any mention or involuntary disregard for her deceased family triggered that horrible behavior from the Lord. After all, she wasn’t just any woman, even if you were.
You were no different than any other villager. Your life was simple, your family, too. Being born and raised under the protection of the Black Gods had many disadvantages, but the tranquility that came with being in that place surrounded by shadows made up for it.
Always a lover of nature, animals and plants, you had satisfied your curiosity by reading a thousand books on those subjects, and studying the little beings that lived near your house.
Real animals, of course, not lycans.
That innate, almost unbearable curiosity made you fill yourself with knowledge, an apparently useless knowledge.
Luckily, the knowledge that seemed useless to you made sense that afternoon, the afternoon when, buying things from the Duke, you came across something unusual.
Normally, the Lords didn’t come down to the village and associate with inferior beings like you, much less the lady in black, doll maker, Donna Beneviento. She was a strange woman, consumed by madness and loneliness.
Seeing her black dress contrasting with the snow, the doll she held in her arms and her face hidden by a black veil made you want to retreat.
Fortunately or unfortunately, a valuable encyclopedia about the flora of Romania was waiting for you and your thirst for knowledge was much stronger than fear. If you hadn’t approached that day, you would probably be wearing a castle maid's uniform.
Apparently your interests caught the timid attention of the lady in black, or rather, of her doll. That someone like her wanted to communicate with you was a sign that you didn’t know how to interpret at first.
Visits to the estate, teas and talks… All of this managed to divert your interest from the animals and plants, and direct it towards the woman in black, towards the relationship that was slowly forming between you.
Love wasn’t long in coming, unexpectedly, but long desired. Donna Beneviento's beauty was no longer a secret to you, and the question of how it would feel to kiss her, was finally answered.
It was true that Donna was a complicated, tormented woman, victim of horrible tragedies in her past, but she had a hidden side, one that only you could see.
Tender, loving, attentive… The mysterious and terrifying behavior of the lady changed completely when you were around, and you stopped returning home to stay with her. That was two years ago, two wonderful years full of joys and sorrows, of love.
“She's right, I'm stupid,” you muttered to yourself, shaking your head as you walked through the dark basement, looking back from time to time, saddened by the wailing that could be heard at the end of the hallway.
“Claudia! Mi dispiace per gli errore che ho fatto!” You heard someone shout in the distance. A heartbreaking scream that made you stop.
“Donna…” you whispered helplessly. “My love… I'm sorry.”
“You've bothered my Donna again!” a shrill voice startled you, along with footsteps on the basement floor.
The Angie doll walked towards you cursing, surely due to your presence.
“Angie, I didn't mean to…” you stammered sighing, overwhelmed by the situation. “It was unintentional.”
“You're lucky that Donna is stupidly in love with you, villager, otherwise, I would have finished you off a long time ago,” the puppet commented, ignoring you and walking towards the workshop.
“Hey! That's not true!” you shouted, knowing that Donna was right, Angie was never serious. “I'll make it up to her, I promise!”
“You better do it!” the doll shrieked, opening the doors of the workshop, making Donna’s cries more evident.
“I have to do something for her,” you muttered to yourself, scratching your head. “I have such a big mouth” you lamented, shaking your head and looking for a solution to the problem you had created. “Yes, that's it.”
With renewed spirits and a smile on your face, you came to the conclusion about what you could do to calm her lament. Maybe it would be silly, but Donna loved the little details you had with her.
“Get ready, my love, I'm cooking today,” you said, entering the dark kitchen and rubbing your hands, searching among the junk for an old recipe book. “Let's see, let's see... yes, flour...”
Little by little you followed the instructions on that book, a dusty and ancient one that you barely understood. That, along with the thousand questions you asked the lady while she was cooking and your intense observations, gave you enough courage to try to make the sublime pasta that Donna blessed you with every day.
“Um, yes, okay,” you said, with your hands full of flour, observing your disastrous dough. “I think it turns out more or less like this, right? Maybe I should ask Angie for help, I don't understand anything,” you said sighing, passing a stained hand over your forehead, covering your face with flour. “No, (Y/N), I don't need that doll, she'll tell on me, for sure.”
Saying that it looked anything like the food the ventriloquist prepared would be very bold on your part. You tried your best, but cooking was never your strong point, no matter how much effort you put into it.
“Basil…” you said, searching through the aromatic herbs the lady always kept. “I don't see it…” you murmured, looking at the steaming plates, covered in a disastrous tomato sauce. “I-I suppose an oregano leaf will do, right?” you said, tearing one of the leaves from the pot and clumsily decorating the plates.
“(Y/N)…” a sad murmur alerted you.
Donna had appeared at the door, looking hurt from crying, but apparently calmer.
“Wait, wait!” you said with an amused laugh, running towards the lady and quickly turning her around so she wouldn't see what you had done. “Don't look, honey.”
“(Y/N),” she protested, stopping dead so you couldn't push her out of the kitchen. “La mia cucina…” she sighed with a gasp of horror as she looked over your shoulder at the mess you had caused.
“Yes, yes, don’t worry about it,” you said amused, finally managing to throw her out of the room. “I’ll clean it up later, you… set the table, okay?”
“A-Aspetta, (Y/N), let me…” she protested again, to which you laughed, shaking your head. “That doesn't smell…”
“Do what I say, okay, my love?” you insisted with an amused smile.
“O-Okay, but… Gods, (Y/N), you're covered in flour,” she said, running a finger down your face and showing it to you. “What have you done?”
You laughed shyly but didn't give it any importance.
“Come on, honey, out, out, move your ass to the living room…” you said amused, kissing her quickly and making impatient gestures with your hands.
The lady looked at you with a frown, blinking in confusion, but finally shrugged, walking down the hall muttering something incomprehensible.
“Just wait, my Donna…” you said satisfied, giving her some time to set the table, watching your pathetic attempt at cooking.
After a few minutes of waiting, you decided to go up with dinner, trying not to burn yourself with the plates.
“Here's dinner,” you hummed as you exited the elevator. Luckily, the lady in black listened to you and the table was carefully set. “Sorpresa.”
“Mm?” she murmured, sitting down and looking at her plate with an arched eyebrow. “Dinner, you say?”
“Yes, I've been in the kitchen for two hours and this is the result,” you said, dropping into the chair and rubbing your hands. “Do you want some wine?”
“No, um…” she said, dipping her fork into the food and looking at it with a strange expression. “Cos'è questo?”
“Well… pasta,” you said with a soft smile, nervous. “I made it myself.”
“That's obvious,” she commented, arching her eyebrow, letting a piece slide off the fork, falling onto the plate with an unpleasant sound.
“What's wrong? You don't like it? You haven't even tried it,” you said worriedly, observing her expressions. “Try it, come on.”
“I don't need to do it to know,” she said, shaking her head, with a sigh of disgust.
“Know what?”
“That it's the worst pasta I've ever seen in my life,” Donna said, without any tact, stirring that strange dough with her cutlery.
“Hey, okay, it's not perfect but I...” you protested embarrassed, lowering your head.
“What is this? Oregano?” she asked, taking the green leaf that decorated the plate with her fingers. “Cazzo, (Y/N), put basil, do you understand? Basil.”
“I-I'm sorry, there wasn't any and… I improvised,” you muttered with trembling hands, terribly offended.
“Improvised… idiota… the tomato is cold. You have to heat it so it doesn't cool the food, well, if you can call this… food,” Donna said unpleasantly, breaking up the pasta with her hands. “Look, it's full of flour, you haven't cooked it enough and it sticks to my fingers.”
“I'm sorry, okay? I'm not as good a cook as you,” you said annoyed, crossing your arms. “I was just trying to…”
“What? To kill me?” she joked, with an ironic tone that ended up making you angry. “Questo è una merda.”
“Hey! Hey, don't be too hard, Donna,” you said, getting up from your chair. “There’s no need to offend me... I made it with all my love, for you.”
“I'll tell you things as they are, (Y/N), if you wanted to surprise me, you've succeeded, unpleasantly,” the lady said, laughing arrogantly.
“What's wrong with you? I was just trying to have a detail for you, and you thank me like this?” you said with a sob. “Well, you know what? Leave it be, I'll throw it in the trash.”
“Now you want to throw food away?” she asked, holding the plate you wanted to take with you. “You're pissing me off, (Y/N)...”
“What about you? You've never spoken to me like that,” you said, leaving the plate on the table and running a hand over your forehead. “I just wanted to apologize.”
“Apologize? Why? Oh, right, for making fun of my sister,” she said cockily, arching her eyebrow.
“I already told you I didn't know,” you growled, clenching your fists. “It was a mistake.”
“Your mistakes are dangerous, tesoro, you should think better before speaking,” said Donna, tasting the food with disgust, making an almost amused face. “Mm, yes, horrible.”
“Sometimes you are unbearable, Donna,” you whispered with a furious look, shaking your head. “Yes, I made a mistake, but I apologized for it and… ah!” you shrieked when a lightning bolt illuminated the room, leaving behind a deafening thunder.
Donna laughed amused, making you even angrier.
“Do you find it funny? What the hell got into you?” you asked angrily, on the verge of tears. “Is it another mood swing? Or are you just that unbearable?”
The lady didn’t erase the smile from her face.
“I'm unbearable? Me? You're the one who's after me all day, asking me absurd things, overwhelming me,” she said, pointing at you with her finger. “You make me sick.”
“Does it annoy you?” you said mockingly. “I thought you liked it.”
“Stop thinking so much, your head is going to explode,” she mocked again, eating unhappily. “(Y/N), I'm not in the mood for your nonsense.”
“Of course, the conversation ends when you say so, right, Donna?” you said, slamming your fist on the table. “Well, listen to me!”
“Shhh, don't shout,” she said in a dark whisper. “Relax, tesoro.”
“Oh, now you call me tesoro, no one can understand you, honey,” you said ironically. “Well, now you're going to listen to me... I'm really tired, Donna, I'm tired of being locked up in this house all day.”
“Mm, nothing stops you from going out,” she commented, looking at you briefly.
“You don't get it, do you? I like going out with you, doing things with you, but you, what do you do? You spend the day with those stupid dolls. You don't pay any attention to me.”
“Are my dolls stupid?” she asked, bending the fork due to the strength of her hand. “You're the stupid one. My head hurts, (Y/N), shut up.”
“I don't want to shut up!” you shouted, something that caused a sinister laugh to suddenly appear.
“Fight, fight, fight!” Angie said, making a funny gesture with her fists.
“Mm, I see you're unable to keep your mouth shut, at least outside the bedroom,” the lady commented, with a mocking smile, something that made you even more furious.
“You know what, Donna? I'm starting to think about getting out of here,” you hissed, speaking irrationally.
“Don't you dare to leave!” she shrieked, standing up abruptly, her eye shining with anger at your words. “You love me!”
“Now you yell at me, how mature...” you mocked, with an amused smile. “Now I realize why you've been alone your whole fucking life.”
The lady opened her eye wide, approaching slowly, breathing heavily. You were angry and upset by that erratic attitude that you should know about, and regretful for the mistake you made with her sister.
Anger caused those horrible words to come out of your mouth, mouth to which you immediately brought your hands. Her gaze locked onto yours like a dagger, and her hand moved slowly towards you. Donna didn't speak. She simply pressed her lips together tightly, darkening her eye more and more.
“D-Donna, honey, I'm sorry, I didn't mean... I...” you said in a pleading voice, realizing that you had gone far, too far. “Donna...”
The woman remained motionless as you slowly approached, extending your hand towards her.
“Donna, listen to me, I…” you whispered, about to reach the black fabric of her dress.
The contact never came.
Your hand reached the darkness of her clothes, but they only blurred with a blackened cloud. You weren’t able to touch her. Her entire figure vanished with a strange sound, suddenly turning off all the lights in the room.
“What?” you asked scared by the new atmosphere of that place.
The warm light turned cold, like a wet forest in winter. In the mansion there was only darkness, the sound of rain bouncing off the windows. In front of you, there was no one. The lady had disappeared, as had her doll.
“Donna?” you asked, hoping that your eyes would soon get used to that new and strange darkness.
The cold ran down your back in the form of an unpleasant sweat and your gaze wandered around every corner of the mansion, looking for some source of light, some place to go. Your steps made the wood creak horribly, almost sinking under your feet. You were terribly scared, your whole body trembled.
Cautiously, shivering with fear in the face of that horrible darkness, you approached the hall, from where a dim but saving light came. The moon illuminated your path, guiding you through that sudden disorientation.
“Donna?” you called again, huddled in on yourself, overwhelmed by a deathly silence that perfectly matched the darkness.
The echo of your voice on the walls was the only answer. You were alone.
Terrified, you walked a little further, looking for the light that timidly entered through the large window, which was reflected majestically in the portrait on the stairs. The lady was still there, with that regal pose, holding her doll.
You swallowed, looking for answers around you, another source of light other than the dark and cold moonlight.
A deafening sound and a blinding light illuminated the house. A terrible thunder sounded at the same time, making you crouch on the floor, covering your head with your hands.
“Gods!” you screamed, seeing how the white color illuminated your surroundings for an instant, with your ears attacked by the horrible sound of the thunder.
When the fear disappeared from your body, you got up blinking several times to accustom your sight again. Everything seemed the same, but different. The atmosphere was heavier, full of humidity, and it didn't take you long to realize that the furniture was out of place, broken.
A dark sound coming from the old clock attacked your heart again. It wasn't its normal sound, it was like a sound of death, of a bad omen. Another flash of lightning appeared to scare you, combining with the mournful and dull sound of the clock.
Your eyes fell on the stairs again and your breathing quickened even more as you noticed a small, but horrible detail: the portrait of Lady Beneviento had changed.
Inside there was no longer that regal and stoic pose, that cold look. The black color was spread all over the canvas. There was no one or anything on it.
“No... no... no...” you murmured, approaching and passing your hand over it.
Nothing, it was a frame that only secured a black canvas, with a darkness that was overwhelming, opaque, empty.
That was too much for your brain to process, and your survival instinct went on alert, making you turn around and run back to the living room, screaming in terror.
“Donna, Donna!” you cried desperately, running quickly through the room, clumsily tripping over something on the floor, something that wasn't there before. “Oh...” you lamented, looking at the cause of that accident.
Your breathing stopped and you stepped back with a horrified moan. You hadn't tripped over a piece of furniture, but over a black and white stain that had been lying on the floor. A flash of lightning illuminated the room again and you could see what it was.
“No, no!” you screamed, shaking your head.
Beside you, lifeless, was a figure dressed in Donna's clothes, but it wasn't her. Instead, that dress covered the bones of an old, lifeless skeleton. Next to it, lying on the floor, was the Angie doll, also lifeless.
“Donna? N-No… No…” you stammered, realizing who those bones belonged to, clumsily getting up from the floor, moving as far away from that horrible sight as possible. “What's going on? Help!”
Your screams were of no use, but your vision cleared a bit. Around you, there was undoubtedly the Beneviento mansion, but it was nothing like it was a few moments ago.
The wind moved the curtains through some windows that were now broken. Everything was destroyed, covered by a thick layer of dust and cobwebs, as if hundreds of years had passed.
Scared, confused, you bent down to pick up the Angie doll, its wooden limbs rotting, almost falling apart in your hands.
“Angie…” you sighed hugging the doll and looking at that strange and dark place, trying not to look at the lady’s bones.
You walked cautiously through the living room, tripping over broken furniture, over bowls full of spoiled fruit, illuminated by those tireless flashes of lightning.
Desperate, you looked for a corner to protect yourself from that nightmare, letting yourself fall on the damp, broken floor, which was covered in mold.
“No, I'm dreaming, I'm just dreaming,” you repeated over and over, rocking on your back with the doll in your arms.
Completely oblivious to logical and rational thinking about your situation, you just cried desperately in that unknown, devoured by the passage of time house.
A creaking sound caught your attention, one very similar to the sound the front door made. Then, slow footsteps seemed to approach you. You looked up, dragging yourself along the old floor to check what was happening. You wish you hadn't.
The front door moved in the wind, completely unhooked from its frame, hitting the wall with an unpleasant noise. The rain and thunders sounded much more intense, you could almost feel the drops of water wetting your face. But that wasn't the worst; you knew the door was closed, which meant that... someone had come in.
You backed away again, hiding behind the door that led to the living room, looking through it without letting Angie go. A flash of lightning illuminated a horrible bloody claw that peeked out from the doorway. Growls began to harass your ears as you walked backwards.
You turned your head for a moment to see the identity of your pursuer. A lycan, a horrible lycan was walking through the house, looking for something, looking for you. You gasped, stepping on a vase on the floor, drawing its attention. Its head turned towards you, but fortunately, you were much faster, able of fleeing from that monster.
Its steps destroyed the rotten wood of the floor, leaving a trail of blood behind them. It walked slowly, looking around, as if it couldn't see you. Your legs trembled hopelessly but you forced them to keep moving slowly, dodging all obstacles.
A dark roar alerted you again to the danger, and with your gaze, feeling cornered, you looked for a place to hide. Knocked over on the floor was Donna's old desk, perfectly placed to serve as a shelter.
Without thinking, you launched yourself at it, covering your mouth so your breathing wouldn't alert the creature. Carefully, you watched its steps, suppressing a horrified cry when one of its claws ruthlessly crushed the skull of Donna's skeleton, making a noise you would never be able to forget.
You tried to relax, but it was in vain, you were unable to remain calm. You had never been so scared. You thought you could have died of terror. Almost feeling the monster's breath on your neck, you focused your gaze on the Angie doll, a terrible idea.
The puppet's head turned slowly, freezing you. Its broken, nonexistent eyes watched you, you could feel them.
“You... You killed me!” the puppet screamed in a distorted voice, causing you to scream as well, throwing the doll to the floor.
“Ah!” you screamed, standing up in horror, something that, of course, alerted the beast, which roared in satisfaction at your presence. “No, no!” you cried, without looking very well where you were going, running down the elevator hallway.
You quickly opened the now rusty bars and got into the cabin, desperately pressing the button and praying that it would work. Miraculously, with a metallic sound, it did.
“No!” you yelled when that beast launched itself at the fence, extending its claws to tear you apart. Luckily, you managed to corner yourself in the farthest part, and the elevator began to move downwards.
The light in the cabin flickered, threatening to leave you completely in the dark again. You tried to catch your breath, to wake up from that nightmare, but you couldn't, as a lugubrious metallic sound shook the cabin dangerously. The light went out, and the elevator abruptly fell to the basement.
It was a resounding fall, but you didn't get hurt, not a scratch, not even the blow affected you.
To your relief, the basement was perfectly lit, with that warm atmosphere it always had. You looked at the destroyed elevator, swallowing and walking forward, stopping abruptly at the horrible sound of another thunder.
When you opened your eyes, the nightmare continued. That kind of abandonment emerged in the basement as well. All the lamps were fallen, broken on the floor. The pictures on the walls no longer hung from them, the dust and humidity became too noticeable in your nose.
A sinister laugh bounced off the walls, the distorted voice of the doll entered your ears unpleasantly, almost as if it were behind you. You didn't want to check, you just ran out again.
A creaking sound accompanied your steps, slowly turning off the lights that were still on. The darkness followed you, as did that sinister laugh.
Just when you were about to lose the remaining light, you reached the shattered doors of the workshop, closing them as best you could, with that laugh sounding behind them. Scared, fearing the worst, you moved one of the tables in the workshop, which mysteriously remained illuminated, and put it as a barricade, slowly backing away.
“Open the door! You killed me!” Angie was screaming, hitting the doors with too much strength, impossible for her.
“No…” you sighed exhausted, crying in fear, approaching the back of the room, looking for another hiding place. In the absence of one, you crouched on the floor, pressing your head with your hands. “Stop, stop it…”
The knocks stopped and you were able to open your eyes. Slowly, you stood up, looking around, coinciding with the dolls that were always on the shelves.
“(Y/N)…” a hoarse whisper told you that you weren’t out of danger yet.
The laughter returned, but it wasn’t the only one. Giggles could be heard in the workshop, some coming from those dolls on the shelf. Unable to continue, paralyzed by fear, you stood still, looking at them out of the corner of your eye.
With the sound of a thunder, all those heads suddenly turned to look at you, increasing the intensity of those deafening laughs.
“No! No! No!” you screamed with all your might, letting yourself fall to the floor. “No, no, no, no, no, no…”
“(Y/N)!” a louder scream made you open your eyes.
The light illuminated the living room of the mansion with the usual warmth, while you were against the wall, with your knees pressed together to your chest. Your eyes hurt from crying and your body still trembled with terror. Confused, you looked around for some coincidence with that nightmare, but there was none.
In front of you, Lady Beneviento was crouching, with a worried look, but, above all, alive.
“Donna!” you yelled, throwing yourself into her arms. “Donna, Donna, Donna...” you repeated, crying desperately, terrified, but relieved because the nightmare was over. “Gods, it was horrible, I...” you stopped, letting the brunette's clothes go and moving away slowly.
When your mind was able to calm down, you realized what had happened. All of that seemed like a nightmare, a very real one. You hadn't fallen asleep, nor was there any other possible explanation. It was a hallucination.
It wasn't the result of nerves, or that disastrous dinner. You knew who was responsible. Donna, she, surely overwhelmed by your hurtful words, made you hallucinate, demonstrating her powers before you, using them against you.
The fear returned, but that time it was different. Slowly, you moved away from the lady's embrace, panting nervously.
“Honey, forgive me...” she said, searching for your hands, ones that you rejected with a furious gasp. “I lost my mind, I didn't want to...”
“D-Donna...” you whispered, almost without a voice. “Did you do this to me?” you asked, getting up clumsily due to the trembling of your legs.
“I'm sorry, I shouldn't have... (Y/N), I was very angry and I took it out on you... if you let me explain...” she said in a soft voice, chasing you slowly through the house while you backed away, shaking your head.
“Don't come closer,” you said, cornered against a wall. “Don't come closer...” you begged with a frightened sob.
“Amore mio, per favore, io...” Donna whispered, reaching out her hand towards you, making you run away again.
“No, no!” you screamed scared, dodging her attempts to grab you. “Don't touch me! D-Donna... what have you done to me?”
“If you let me explain...” she insisted, managing to grab your wrist.
You, frightened, tried to get out of her grip.
“Let me go! Let me go!” you screamed desperately, pushing her away from you.
She looked at you with a sad look, with her mouth open, not knowing what to say.
“I'm sorry, (Y/N),” she sighed, with her eye full of tears.
“Are you sorry? You've made me live the worst experience of my life!” you shouted furiously, moving further away. “I-I don't want you to come near me, Donna, you scare me.”
“But, tesoro…” she said, crying at the impotence of not being able to make you reason.
“No! Leave me alone!” you screamed, fleeing up the stairs, passing by the intact portrait, being desperately pursued by the lady until you locked yourself in the guest room. “Go away!”
“(Y/N), please, listen to me,” Donna said behind the door, knocking on it softly. “Please, open the door.”
“No!” you shouted, leaning your back against the wall, turning on all the lights in the room. “Go away! You scare me!”
“Don't tell me… that… please… just let me…” she stammered, her voice broken by sobs. “Open the door, I just want to talk.”
“I'm not going to do it, I'm not going to let you hurt me again,” you growled, clenching your fists tightly. “This is the worst thing you've ever done, Donna... You've made me be afraid of you.”
“I would never hurt you! It was a mistake!” she shrieked, banging harder on the door. “I was wrong! Forgive me, please!”
“I will never, ever forgive you!” you screamed with all your might, making your voice bounce off the walls, the echo of your screams being the last thing you heard before a quick clatter of heels and a heartbreaking sob that receded down the stairs.
You sighed, closing your eyes and letting yourself fall on the old bed, crying inconsolably. You simply couldn't believe it. Naturally in all that time you had arguments like any normal couple, it always ends well.
Not that night, that night Donna went too far, attacking you with her powers, concentrating your greatest fears in your mind. Donna being dead and a lycan chasing you was no coincidence; those were your two greatest fears. She played with them, with your mind, unable to be rational, making completely lose your mind.
You wondered if your nightmares would be the same from that moment on, if Donna hadn’t become, unwittingly, your worst fear.
It was a dirty and unpleasant trick that couldn’t be justified by anything, not even by her sick mind. She had gone too far and your heart was reeling with doubts. That night was horrible, you could barely sleep.
Going down from the guest room was something you simply didn’t want to do. You were terrified, you were afraid that the rage would consume the lady in black again, that she would make you pay for having said all those things to her. You were never so afraid of her as at that moment. Getting away from her was your best option.
Leaving the mansion was hasty. Although reluctant, your heart refused to stop loving her. Waiting a while and clearing your mind was the best thing you could do.
Two days passed like this, two days in which you opened your door often, looking at the portrait, making sure that nothing had changed, that this nightmare wouldn’t return.
Hunger didn’t matter. Your mind was too busy making a decision.
Donna was dangerous, and you knew it, you knew it when you agreed to have tea with her, when you kissed her, when you moved in with her. In all that time they only seemed like absurd rumors to you, until that moment.
Yes, Donna was jealous, arrogant and cold. Her gestures of affection were common, but many times she made you understand your excessive displays of affection were too much for her. You didn’t blame her for that, of course, you knew her past, her terrible childhood, her terrible loneliness.
Loneliness... that characteristic of the lady in black was what triggered that nightmare. You regretted your words, but pride prevented you from facing Donna, from facing your fears. She said she would never hurt you, but she did, whether she meant to or not. Or maybe, maybe it was you who hurt her without realizing it, who talked too much, who downplayed all her problems.
Donna's attitude that horrible day began to make sense in your head. You knew her. You knew that some days were bad, that her mind tortured her sometimes, just to make fun of her. You were so intent on knowing her, on asking her, on loving her, that maybe you had forgotten the most important thing, taking care of her, just like you promised.
Instead of making a fool of yourself, messing with her sister and insisting to do something different, you should have hugged her, interpreted the signs that told you that Donna wasn’t having a good day, and that she needed you, she really needed you.
Sure of the idea of not looking like a sick woman, Donna held on to her pride; she would never tell you she needed your comfort, to calm the horrible voices in her head. Normally you noticed these signs and acted, but that day you didn't.
Could it be that in some way you were to blame too? After all, you said something horrible to her and she could only defend herself in the only way she knew how.
Your stomach growled, pulling you out of your thoughts. You had spent too much time in that room. It was time to go down.
Slowly you opened the door, looking, as always, at the portrait. Everything seemed to be in its place, except for a horrible silence.
“Hello? Donna? Angie?” you asked timidly, peeking into the living room. It was empty, there was no one there. “Donna?”
No one answered your call, so, nervous, you decided to go to the elevator.
“She's probably in the workshop with her dolls,” you muttered to yourself, silencing your fears.
The light in the cabin flickered, causing you to jump and making you hit the lamp softly, panting.
“Damn light…” you complained, arriving at the basement calmly, without horrible falls.
You took a step forward and your blood froze. That horrible vision of your nightmare returned.
The lamps were smashed, the furniture knocked over, everything was a mess. You walked cautiously down the hallway, checking how all the paintings were torn, broken. Fear took over you, but Donna was your target, it didn't matter if it was another hallucination.
The mirror in the corner was broken into a thousand pieces. You passed your hand over it, noticing a few drops of blood.
“Donna...” you sighed, focusing your gaze on the doors of the workshop, checking that the lights didn't disappear.
“And then I told her I'm just an idiot, I have no more stories to tell...” An erratic babbling reached your ears, confirming the presence of the lady.
Little by little you opened the door, finding a desolate scenario.
Everything was thrown on the floor. There were broken dolls, glasses… as if a tornado had devastated that place, a tornado with a name and surname: Donna Beneviento.
The lady in black was cornered, laughing with a nervous expression, with her eye wide open and her hand with a stain of dried blood, surely because the broken mirror.
“Yes, ma'am, tell me how can I leave you today ma'am, I have lost you, you are, idiot, you are…” she continued, absent, unhinged, erratic, completely lost. “Stupida, stupida, stupida!”
“Shhh, Donna…” you whispered, approaching slowly.
The lady fell silent and looked at you slowly, blinking several times.
“You…” she hissed, approaching you abruptly, something that made you unconsciously step back. “You're running away from me!”
“I-I'm sorry, I…” you said fearfully, gathering enough courage to approach, realizing that the Angie doll was lying lifeless on the floor.
Donna's crisis had been so bad that even her doll lost her consciousness.
“You're not here! Have you come to torment me?! Do you want me to throw myself off the waterfall?! I will!” she screamed madly, covering her ears. “I will!”
“Shhh, Donna, don't say…” you said, taking her hands away from her face deformed by rage and tears. “Shhh, listen to me… I'm here,” you said softly.
“You're dead! I killed you!” Donna screamed, looking at you with distrust.
You, with tears in your eyes, shook your head, reaching out your hand to her cheek, caressing it in a comforting way.
“Shhh, be quiet, my love… I'm here, see? Do you feel my hand, darling? I'm here with you…” you whispered, getting closer while you caressed her, trying to calm her demons.
“You left,” she said, lowering her head but keeping her eye on yours.
“No, no Donna, I never left, I just…” you said with a sweet voice. “Oh, darling… my love, come to your senses, I’m here with you, I would never leave you…”
“You’re scared of me, you said you were scared of me,” she said, blinking nervously again. “I scared you.”
“Yes, but… Donna, I…” you said, being careful with your words. “I didn’t behave well either. I shouldn’t have said that horrible thing and… yes, I was scared but… but…”
The lady moved quickly, taking your hand in hers, squeezing it tightly.
“I would never hurt you, never!” she squealed desperately. “Never…”
“Shhh, I know, I know…” you whispered, bringing her body closer to yours, releasing yourself from her grip and burying her head in your chest, cradling her sweetly. “Donna, my Donna…”
“I’m sorry,” the lady said, clinging to your clothes, wetting them with tears. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”
“Shhh, don't shout, my precious Donna... it's over, I forgive you, it's okay...” you whispered in her ear, feeling her warm embrace as the end of your worries, of your fears. “We both behaved like idiots... forgive me, my love... forgive me for not being there when you needed me.”
“I-I promise I won't do it again,” she whispered, with a childish voice, letting herself be cradled, raising her gaze. “I promise.”
“I believe you, darling, come here...” you murmured, moving her head so her salty lips rested on yours. “I love you.”
“I love you,” she repeated, caressing your cheek, with a different light on her face. “I love you, I love you, I love you...”
A strange sound brought you out of that romantic reconciliation.
“As I was saying, silly Donna, you've screwed things up in the worst possible way and…” the Angie doll stood up, coming back to life as her owner's heart calmed down. “Wait, what happened?”
“Nothing,” she said, still looking and caressing you. “Everything's okay, right?”
“Yes,” you said smiling, returning her caresses. “Now, darling, let's go heal those wounds and maybe you'll want me to make dinner…”

Kindergarten crush:
Abby came through the door, eyes glistening, rhythm in her step, hair with extra bounce and lips stick in a shimmery smile. Harry turned from the table, scanning his daughter's face up and down with his own sweet smile. "Hello bunny, how was school?"
"Wonderful! He's amazing!" An arch tore across Harry's eyebrow, "He?" Abby sat closer to her father, "Paul. Paul Haskins. He has the biggest brown eyes ever!" Abby skipped to her bedroom, leaving behind a perplexed Harry at the dining table. Yn shuttled only a few minutes in the door. "So, Paul?" Harry nodded, watching Yn setting her purse down on the couch. Harry took a deep breath, "Paul this and Paul that...what does Abby see in boys anyway?"
Yn allowed a smirk to ring through her cheeks, "Since when do you have a problem with boys?" "Abby is too young to be considering any of that stuff now," Harry waved his hand, completely disparaging the notion. Yn tilted her head a little, "Paul's a nice boy. I met his mother and she's very nice." Harry scoffed, "Well... still."
Dinner time was filled with Abby's giggles and Harry's funny stories. Slurping her spaghetti, Abby's eyes gave way to a twinkle, "Spaghetti is Paul's favorite food. His mommy makes it for him all the time." Harry's grip on his fork tightened. "He gave some to me at school the other day, along with part of his oatmeal raisin cookies."
"What about daddy's grilled cheese sandwiches with extra cheese?" Harry's eyes scanning his little daughter's for maybe even an ounce, of excitement or validation. "It's good too, though." Harry gave his puppy pout like he usually did whenever something upset him. After the dinner dishes were cleared, Harry was parked at the sink scrubbing away at his more than clean plate. "Harry," He turned slightly on his name before turning back to the sink. "Paul, Paul, Paul... that's all she ever thinks about now."
Yn rubbed his back, "She just has a little crush right now, Harry. She still loves you...." Harry dropped the sponge into the sink, "She loves Paul right now, Yn," He unplugged the sink. "Abby was crazy about me before.... Paul came around..." Harry said his name like it was dreadful gulp of saline flavored medicine. "Harry.... Abby is still crazy about you.... she's always going to need you... and Paul's not going to take that away." Harry let a smidge of reassurance creep into him, urging a smile across his face.
That night, Harry peeked into Abby's room where she was sound asleep. He snuck in- hovering over her little limp body, tucking back a stray piece of hair that slinked across face. "My little princess," He whispered to himself, "My forever little princess." Harry bent down and planted a soft kiss to her cheek before tiptoeing out of the room.
The next afternoon, Yn had left to pick Abby up from school. She walked to her classroom where she saw Abby and Paul talking and laughing with each other. They walked out to their cubbies together, before they parted ways with their respective parent. "Is he nice?" Yn asked, "Very! He said he would draw me a picture tomorrow at school!"
"That's great sweetie!" Yn lifted her 5 year into her arms. That night, Abby was so excited, that Yn thought for sure her head would explode. Harry sulked in his chair watching Abby go on and on about Paul. "Maybe we could draw a picture together too baby?" Abby shot her father a smile before turning her attention back to the TV. Harry was quiet the rest of the night. Instead, he made a silent vow to pick Abby up from school the next day, as to point Paul out from the class. But things were different.
Abby ran to Harry as usual but was unusually quiet. "Hey Abby, how was school Pumpkin? Did.... Paul make you the picture he promised?" Abby shook her head. Harry's eyebrows furrowed. "He didn't?" She fell into his arms and cried. "He likes Angie better! He drew her the picture instead!" Harry lifted Abby into his arms. "Oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry to hear that!" "I thought he liked me!"
"It'll be okay Abby," Harry cooed, "Daddy likes you..." Abby wiped the tears from her cheeks, "Daddy loves you to be exact." Abby looked down at the pavement of the parking lot. "Why don't me and you go get an afternoon snack? Does Dairy Queen sound good?" A smile grew on Abby's face. "Oh yeah!"
Yn set the Tv remote down upon hearing the front door open. Crinkles of paper bags sounded loudly through the house. "I bought us dinner," Harry said, setting the bag on the kitchen island. "Oh, and Abby and Paul are no longer an item." Yn raised an eyebrow, "You're happy about that, aren't you?" He shrugged, wearing a cheeky dimply ear to ear smile. "Maybe..." He held up her ice cream sundae.
"Hungry?" Yn playfully shook her head before digging into to her frozen treat. "How's Abby doing?"
"Well, she was sad at first- Paul had drew a picture for this girl in her class, Angie, instead- but once I asked if she wanted Dairy Queen, she perked right up." He turned to see Abby eating her chicken tenders and fries while watching TV. "It all worked out for the best it seemed."
Yn let a smile crawl across her face. She had a wonderful husband who was a wonderful father too.
*Sorry if this is cringey, I'm working on A LOT right now. *

"She's not changing Y/n, she will hurt you."
...
"We warned you."
It was spiraling in your brain, everyone's words including hers. You felt foolish for thinking you could change her in any way. An absolute fool. Why couldn't you of listened to everyone. All you had was hope. But that died that night, that hope was officially gone for good. You had been curled up in bed all of your Saturday. You hated to admit it but you were crying. Laying in your bed with cold tears staining your face. You had come home from that party in the exact same state.
"Oh, babe.." you heard Angela's voice softly say, bringing you into her embrace. You sunk into the feeling letting out tears. "What's up?" She asks pulling back a little. "Y-you were right. I'm such a fucking idiot." You sob. She was confused. "Woah what, slow down." Her hand rubs on your arms, bringing you with her to sit on the couch. "Me and Ellie. Well we were dating in secret, I'm so sorry for that. But we aren't anymore." She changes her expression to a more serious one. "That fucking wh-" But you didn't even want her to finish that. You knew Ellie had hurt you but it was fairly new, you still had some love for her. As troublesome that may be it was nothing but the truth. You had to get over that tho. You had to.
You were laying on your side, still mulling over those same sentences over and over again. It was like a tiny devil in your brain telling you 'you fucked up' but you soon hear your door creaking open. "I made you some sammies." Angie came in with a sweet smile. Your back was currently facing her and you didn't make any effort in changing that as you let out a dry hm. She lets out a sigh. "I won't watch you starve because of some silly girl who's hurt you. Please." You turn over looking at her. "I'll eat, just not as hungry right now." She walks over setting the plate down on your bedside table, moving to sit on your bed. "You're strong ok? I know you will get past this." You give her a tiny nod. "I might just take a nap." She nods in agreement going to leave. "Good idea."
A few minutes go by when you hear the door. You couldn't make out the voice so you continue to rest on your side. Holding the drawing she did of you in hand, staring at it. All of this, everything just wasted. You couldn't bare to look at it any longer, chucking it in a random direction, deciding to get some rest.
Ellies pov.
The night before:
"Oh this one's going to be a good one I can feel it." I say, examining the crowds of people. It was booming, that's for sure. I look at her, she looked so effortlessly pretty. It stunned me. "You're so silly." She speaks. "Come on let's get a drink." I then say, grabbing her wrist and dragging her gently with me. Her smile was brightening every bad thing in this world. "I'll be the sober help." I smile at her. "Not even one love?" She just shakes her head. "Alright, just make sure you're comfortable yeah?"
It had been maybe an hour into the party and I didn't feel completely with it. Y/n was sitting comfortably in my lap, just looking so beautiful. "Mmm I want another." I slur. And there it was, her gorgeous giggle. "You're so gone Els-" "your laughs so pretty, makes my heart warm." I blurt out suddenly. "Well that's very kind of you." She replies. But as I keep looking at her I could tell something was off, or was I daydreaming? Was the alcohol just messing with my brain. I decide to ignore it, not in my right mind. "Can you pretty please get me another drink my beautiful girlfriend." I watch as she smiles at me, probably replying but the music drowns out not only my thoughts but any formable words. Feeling her get off and leave, I could feel my brain going fuzzy too. But deep down something just didn't feel 100%. I eventually turn my head to look at her, noticing Kenny speaking to her.
That boils my blood. Why can't he just mind his own business? Stop it Ellie, you haven't been angry like this in forever, don't break that streak now. She comes back over handing me my drink, I give her a mumbled thank you. "Was he hassling you?" "Who, Kenny? Nothing I can't handle my love." As I look at her I notice her posture shift, i knew it wasn't her getting comfortable on my lap. Because if anything she looked uncomfortable.
"You alright mama?" I decide to just ask. "I'm just going to go for a pee." She states, beginning to get off. "Oh.. alright love." I'd be lying If I said I wasn't worried, but the other half of me felt dizzy, making me forget slightly what was going on. I shake my head going to get up and get another drink. When I eventually hear shuffling next to me. I turn my attention to see a dirty blonde girl. "Hey." She gently says. It takes me a moment as confusion washes over me. "Hi?" Silence. "You don't remember me?" More silence. Because no, I didn't know who the hell she was, until I take a better look. "Sophy." She smiles. "Ah so you do remember." I somehow felt awkward. "Uhmm yeah." Still really confused on why she's even talking to me. "I missed you." Stunned. "I- huh?" Now I was really baffled. "But- i kinda just left ya." It was bad, but it was the truth, why would she miss me. "Yeah well. You were still hot." I furrow my brows at a loss of words. "I- wha-" When I suddenly feel her lips on mine, I felt all too sober right then as my eyes widen. But before I could push her away- "Ehem." I hear someone clear their throat, I don't even need to turn around to know who it was.
"Fuck.." I mutter, slowly turning to face her. "Wait baby no i-" I began but suddenly my freshly poured drink was being dumped on me. I sigh. "No." She points at me. "Ellie what the actual fuck." I stare at her, saying nothing. Not even knowing what to say. Fuck, it's like it's happening all over again, speak you idiot. My eyes widen as she starts to cry.. ive never seen her cry before, safe to say I never ever wanted to witness it again. "Y/n no no please-" "After everything we've been through, after what you told me. They were wrong. You cant change for anyone. I should've listened to them." I immediately shake my head. It was all wrong. "Don't say that please- it was an accident fuck- she just-" But she cuts me off, shoving the cup into my chest. "Shut up Ellie." And I listen. I couldn't fuck things up any more then i have. Right...
It was silent, after a second or two she soon goes to leave. "Wait-" I start, but it was no use. She was gone in the swarm of people. "Fuck." I curse under my breath. I couldn't let this happen, not her. Not someone who I know I've fallen in love with. God Ellie you should've just told her. I wanted to make this right, after all she was my everything. I stride through the crowds when I spot her. I notice she isn't alone. God, does Kenny ever just fuck off. There's that anger again, but nothing was stopping me this time. I March on over there, pushing him to the ground ignoring all the fallen gasps. "Ellie what the fu-" "He touched you!" I retort. "You bitch." He starts to speak, getting off the floor and making an attempt to hit me, but he misses. "Fight round two then, you fucker." And it begun, the tiny fight between us. But I notice her going to leave. "Wait no- please let me explain!" I yell, grabbing onto her wrist. She immediately pulls back, with anger herself. "No Ellie. Don't ever touch or even speak to me again." "They weren't right, you have changed me i swear to you!" I plead, but she just shakes her head. "Once a dick. Always a dick. You. Have. Not. Changed."
And that was that. I watch as she leaves. I felt so empty like I had just lost my best friend. What the fuck was I going to do.
Missed calls. I called her so many times, I was freaking out. Think Ellie. God. This was suppose to be the one thing I didn't fuck up. I pace in my room, debating on what is the best approach. Nothing. "Come on brain. You can be creative, don't lack in that now!" There was one option. Going to her dorm and trying to talk to her, Angela. There needed to be a backup plan tho, I had no faith in the first one. I flop on my bed with a long sigh. "You made her cry.." it hurt to even look back on, her hurt features. Her anger, but most importantly those glossy eyes. I close mine trying to get the image out, laying on my back still thinking. "Fuck it." I get up and head over to her dorm. Knocking on the door hesitantly, when Angela is suddenly in sight. "Can I spe-" "No." She immediately cuts me off. "But-" "No Ellie you broke her fucking heart. Again. Why do you always do this to people." I stare at her. "This time was an accident I swear-!" She raises a brow. "You accidentally kissed someone? Yeah alright." There was no winning this. "Please just let me talk to her and explain." She looks at me, but not before shutting the door in my face. Great. What now?
It had been a few days later, and there was no sight of her in classes. Which was worrying, knowing how involved she was with the work. It was saddening to say the least. I decided to have a small wind down in the library, wanting to clear my thoughts in the safe space. When I spot her just sitting in a corner, reading. Was I dreaming? I haven't seen her in days. My feet felt like they were glued to the floor, staring. Do I go over? Talk to her? What do I say?
All these thoughts raced through my mind when I just stood up properly, beginning to head over there. I stand for a few moments in hopes she'd see a person's shoes and look up. As her head rises I notice her eyes. Tired. Worn out. Red and puffy. My heart breaks all over again, especially when her soft expression turns into a bitter glance. "I uh-" I sigh scratching my neck. "Can we talk?" There was silence. Not our enjoyable silence that we'd always share. A cold silence. "Nothing to talk about." I swallow hearing her voice for what felt like forever. And it hurt, the pain deep inside her. "Please." Pleading. I just needed to try say something. I bend down getting infront of her view, needing her to look at me. When she does I just pray she hears me out. "Go on." I soften my look, hearing how uneasy her voice was. I know I didn't mean for all of this to happen, but how could I. How could I of let her kiss me at all- my thoughts were cut off when I hear a faint cough. "She kissed me." Great going. "No really? I'm well aware." God damn Ellie. "I just- I mean, I didn't kiss back." "I saw you Ellie, that's such bullshit." I close my eyes. "Ok, well I didn't enjoy it." She scoffs. "So you admit you did kiss her back?" Now I was silenced. Shit. "Uhhh- well- fuck sake."
She shakes her head. "Just leave me alone." She says dryly, getting up from her spot about to leave. I go to grab her, but don't. Wanting to not repeat history. "Please just let me explain more." She bites her lip, and I know she's suppressing tears. "You've said enough." And so I let it be. Letting her walk off and out of the quiet building.
A few weeks. That's how long ago the library incident first happened. I hadn't seen her around since. Had she left.. like Noelle. "No, don't be silly she loves it here she would never. Not because of me, right?" I huff, that had become a habit, talking to myself. I was still on the mission to get her back or atleast explain things. But my brain was bone dry. It was currently the last class of the day, I rested my chin on the desk, still trying to think. "You know Ellie." Dina began. "Why don't you do something nice for her, give her a note saying to meet somewhere, maybe make her some food or-" I shake my head. "This isn't just some ordinary girl." Dina was honestly shocked. I turn my attention to her. "Shes more than that, I have to do something bigger." She pats my shoulder. "Maybe she has changed you Williams, cuz you've never spoken such things about anyone." It's true, she definitely did. "If this was you and Jesse had done this and you still loved him and such, what would you want him to do?" She ponders that question. "Well I suppose I'd want the truth from both. Him and this random girl." My face lights up. Genius! I smile wide going to hug her. "That's brilliant Dina! But- wait. How would I even do that." I ask. "I think you should figure this out on your own, if she really has changed you I think you should know what to do."
"I'm sorry for screwing you over." My words come out rushed, looking at Sophy with so much hope. She just looks at me. "Really?" I nod. "That's very big of you." She states. "Yeah well, just trying to mend past situations." There was a long pause, before either of us spoke. "Hey, I'm sorry for kissing you that night. I'm in no way that kind of person. Maybe when I'm drunk but I didn't even know you were seeing anyone, didn't even know the Ellie Williams ever could to be fair." The confession heals something inside me, letting that hope be reassured. "So you forgive me for being a complete jerk ages ago?" She smiles and nods. "Yeah we're cool." A sigh of relief escapes my lips. "So what's happening with her? Are you two speaking." I shook my head. "Shes mad and upset and to be honest I don't blame her. I did technically kiss you back-" "you didn't actually." I furrow my brows. "Huh-?" So incredibly confused. "But she said she saw it-" Sophy shakes her head. "Well I didn't feel anything. You must've been talking or something beforehand to make it look like you did, but you didn't. I remember most when I'm drunk and you never kissed back. Plus she caught it before it could progress."
Happy was an understatement. "That's incredible, oh my God I could just k-" we give eachother a look. "Yeah no, bad line to use." I let out a slight awkward laugh, making her shake her head with a smile.
She agreed to help me smooth things over and I was forever thankful. "How do we go about this?" She asks. I think for a moment. "Maybe you could knock on her door and ask to speak with her, and maybe clear the air. Might be best if I'm not there so you can talk properly?" "Sounds good, I don't see a problem with that." I let out a breath of relief. "Ok awesome, thank you."
And after an hour or so she was back. "So how'd it go?" I sit up. "What's something she loves?" I was incredibly confused. "Reading, painting, music. Why?" She leans on the wall. "Shes a kind person, I think she forgave the fact I had apologized, but I reckon you should now do something so she can forgive you completely." I let that sink in and I knew just the thing.
Readers pov
It had been a long day, stressful classes, tons of work. Thank fuck it was a Friday and you could wind down again. You were currently snuggled up on the couch, watching some random cheesy romcom on the TV. Considering it was a Friday that meant Angela was at her boyfriends, so dorm all to yourself. You're brought back out from your thoughts to a knock at your door. Odd. Who on earth. As you open it you spot a girl, not really even processing when you suddenly remember. "Hi, can we talk quickly?" You were shocked nonetheless. What was she even doing here. You let her in anyway, your intrigue getting the better of you. You both make your way over to the couch in silence. "I would like to apologize for kissing something that didn't belong to me." She begins. You on the other hand stay silent and let her finish. "I was drunk- and that's never an excuse, but I do, do crazy shit when I am, I'm not that kind of person sober." There was a silence for a moment. "Doesn't excuse how she acted tho. I appreciate your apology." She nods. "Well if it's any constellation, she never kissed me back." That just confuses me. "Wait she didn't?" She shook her head. "I can assure you. It was just my goofy ass's doing." It only makes you feel a little silly for not knowing the whole story. "I feel embarrassed-" "don't, if anything i probably would've done the same, besides she didn't have the best track record did she? It's no surprise you'd assume." You're now the one to shake your head. "I shouldn't of, I should've let her atleast try and explain."
"Thank you for coming to clear it up with me." You say, escorting her out the door. "Of course, only right thing to do." You nod, giving her a smile. "Although I would've liked her to of come to do so- I know she's tried but I dunno- you think shes given up on trying to fix this?" She lets out a tiny laugh. "Far from that, give it some time yeah? If you know Ellie she never half asses things she loves." You just hope that's true.
It had been a few days later. Two to be exact. And you were currently on your way back to your dorm room. You were about to get your keys when you realize it's already open. "Angie?" You begin, but once you open the door you're greeted by those green eyes. That pale, freckled skin. "Ellie-" You breathe out, setting your things down. Wondering what on earth she's doing here. You notice a few things, like her guitar, then you suddenly smell food. "What is all this." "My apology." You let her continue knowing you had been a bit hard on her. "I made your favorite meal, and I know you were busy today as it was a Friday, so let me take care of you. I'm going to play your favorite song as you relax." Your gaze softens. No one had ever done this for you. Ever. So it melts your heart completely. "Here, come sit." She gestures. You go over to the couch, sitting down as she prepares her guitar, situating it properly in her lap. She begins to play the song Fade Into You by Mazzy Star, your entire face lights up. It hadn't been this bright in awhile, and Ellie seeing that makes her truly happy. Once the song finishes she looks at you. That comfortable silence being back and better than anything. "I- that took me maybe a week to learn, and honestly it wasn't easy but its the easiest song I've ever had to lea-"
But she was cut off by you kissing her. She missed it so much, how soft and safe your lips felt against hers. She was happy again. You pull back to get a look at her. "No one's ever done anything like that for me." She smiles wide. "I've never done anything like that for anyone." She states. "Well I'm glad I was the one." Another comforting silence. "You are the one." Your heart skips a beat at her words, just hearing them makes you giddy inside. "You really think so?" She shakes her head, making you furrow your brows in confusion. "I know so." And that sudden worry was gone again. All you wanted was to kiss her, she got the feeling. Setting the guitar down and bringing you closer. Kissing you so sweetly. You both part. "Well let's eat I bet you're hungry." You nod. "Starved." Your hand reaches out grabbing the plate of pasta. "Smells amazing, I didn't know you cooked." She laughs. "Again with the assuming my love." You put your hands up in your defense. "Didn't say you didn't look like the type to! ... although." A cheeky grins spreads across your face. She lets out a chuckle going to lightly hit your arm. "You're a menace." You begin to eat the meal, and it wasn't too bad. Had all the good flavorings, the perfect amount of cheese which she knew. "No one knows me as well as this, it's quite special to me." She puts her plate down to speak. "No one?" You shook your head. "Not even my parents."
She looked shocked. "Well, glad I could be the one who listens properly. Even though it truly isn't a hard thing to do." You nod at her statement. "You are a good listener. You know how I can tell?" "How?" She leans back intrigued, you take a moment. "Whenever I talk about something and I forget what we were talking about, you always will remind me of the exact thing in best detail that I was speaking of. And always it rejogs my brain. That is how I know you're truly listening." She smiles at you. "You're so cute." The compliment makes you blush, hard. "I missed you." You blurt. "I missed you too angel, so much you have no idea."
That night had been the most relaxing night of your life. It ended with her sleeping in your bed cuddling you until you fell asleep, the safeness you felt was undeniable. It was a regular Tuesday, not too busy but also not so quiet. It all went down hill with the last assignment you got, since you had been a bit out of it recently. You must admit you were slacking. It's not like you at all but you were determined to redeem yourself. That is until the project was due in 2 days. A project this big, no way in hell you were getting it done by then. Not unless you stayed up all night and day. It didn't help that you had classes ontop of that. Stress started to arrive as you go over the assignment. You were currently at the library, skimming it over and over. You begin to bite your lip, chewing and searching for any loose skin as that seemed to help you in some way. It's like a calming technique you picked up through the years, although the consequences aren't so calming. You would forever get ulcers that prevented you from eating because of the infuriating pain. You needed to stop doing it truth be told. You were pulled from the slight manic reading when Ellie is heard. "Hey baby, whatcha doin." She sits down across from you. "Just this assignment." You give her a smile. "How was your day?" You ask her.
"Pretty boring, but hey. Not anymore." She smiles at you now too. "Wanna do something later, you can come over and we can just chill." God that sounded nice but you knew you had to decline. "You can do this and maybe I draw or practice guitar, whatever suits you." God she was so sweet and thoughtful. "That's such a beautiful offer, Els but I think I'm just going to go back to my room to try finish this." And Ellie being Ellie she was agreeing. "Ofcourse yeah! Let me know if you need some company at all." She goes to get up, but before leaving giving you a kiss. "Bye baby." You kiss her back. Once she's left you look back at the work. "Right, let's go." You say packing it up and heading to your dorm.
"Hey." Angie says coming in. "I made some food it's out there if you want it." You nod, focusing on all the papers on your bed. "Whats all this?" You look at her. "Just some work I needa catch up on." She looks at it, then you. "Ok, well please eat." "Uhuh." You didn't take your eyes off of the sheets of paper, scribbling a few words on it. She let out a sigh which you hadn't even heard her do. She leaves soon after, closing the door.
8:01
-Hey sweetheart, just checking in. Making sure everything's ok. :)
You had been so engrossed that you hadn't even felt your phone go off, let alone hear the damn thing.
8:37
-hey sorry, yeah everything's going fine.
-want that company?
-you know, yeah. I'd love that, that sounds nice.
-be there soon. <3
You stop for a moment letting out a breath, you were looking through everything when your face drops, realizing you had completely missed a whole section. "Fuck." You curse going to grab it. There was absolutely no way you were finishing this on time now, you hadn't even seen it how are you going to put this in all of a sudden. "God damn it." "Everything alright?" You jump at the sound of Ellies voice. She holds a hand out. "Woah- didn't mean to startle you it's just me." You shake your head. "Sorry- just a bit jumpy I didn't expect you yet." You reply. She looks at your bed. "This is alot of work." You sigh, trying your hardest to stay positive. You turn your focus on her. "You brought your sketch book." She smiles going to sit in your desk chair. "Sure did, needed to do some doodling." You nod at her, going to continue to figure out what to do with this crap. "What's all this even for?" She asks. "English. Kinda stupid but oh well." Her brows furrow. "You love English tho." "Mmm, I do. But not when it's like this.." you sigh again. "You alright tho?" You nod at her question, flashing a smile. "Yeah, I'm good." She smiles at your own, going to start to draw.
The next night was harder, the whole day was. Trying to find spare time to get more done. It was nearly impossible. Your stress was increasing, making your anxiety appear. You were tearing your hair out in your bedroom. "Hey, have you eaten today?" You hear Angela's faint voice. "Mhmm." You lie. She huffs. "Im worried about you." Your eyes never leave your page. "Well I'm all good in the hood." You slightly joke around by saying that silly saying. "I'm serious Y/n. You hardly have a break from that." That went straight over your head not even hearing what she's saying. She sighs going to close the door again.
-can you please come over.
-why what's up?
-she's freaking me the fuck out, she's not eating I don't even think shes fucking slept, I notice shes been acting incredibly off and it's very worrying.
-slow down, why do you think all this?
-the food from last night was still sitting out this morning. She said she'd eat it and she hasn't. Her eyes are so bloodshot I could see from the millisecond she looked at me. Her bags were prominent too.
-oh Jesus.
-please come over here, I think she really needs you right now.
-I'll be over right away.
Your breath was shakey as you talk to yourself about what you had to do. Your room was a complete and utter mess. Paper, pens, folders. Everywhere. You were so engrossed by it you hadn't even heard your door open. "Y/n?" You heard, you turn your attention to the voice. "Hm?" She saw. Ellie saw what Angela was talking about. "Angie said you haven't eaten." You wave her off. "Can't." She was confused. "And why not?" You pull your lip down to the unsurprising ulcer that had formed. You let your lip rest back, getting back to your studying. "Well I'm going to go reheat the food I'll be right back." You give her another hum, not focusing on a word that came out her mouth. When all of a sudden, the stress was just gone. Your face sits still. Uh oh. That stress had now been replaced with anxiety. Shit. You couldn't let her see you like that. You had to stay calm. But once a panic attack occurred. There was no stopping it. Your breathing became more heavier, taking in breaths to hopefully get that heavy feeling that was on your chest away. No use. It only made things worse, making you freak out again. You felt like you couldn't breath, grabbing onto your sheets feeling tears start to come. Your entire body shaking from the arising panic attack, but also from the lack of sleep. It was going to catch up eventually. It just had to be now. "It might be a bit too hot so just-" Ellie begun. But immediately put the bowl down on your nightstand.
Her movements were speedy coming to crouch down infront of you. She watched you cry your heart out, breathing as if there wasn't air. "Hey hey hey hey, look at me baby." You shake your head, never wanting her to see this. "Please." Her gentle touch makes you reluctantly do so, still letting out streams of tears, shaking uncontrollably. "Shhh." She softly let's out, rubbing your knee. "I-i can't. I can't breathe-" She stands up gently grabbing your hand and putting it to her chest. "Yes you can, youre ok I swear to you. See?" You look at her then your hand, still freaking out slightly, you can feel a ramble about to approach. "This stupid work- Its- suppose to b-be done by tomorrow and I'm nowhere near done. I can't fuck this up because I had been slacking because of everything- and then I messed up on this last night, I h-have absolutely no time during the day because of other classes everything's so messy and I don't know what to do." You sob more. Her heart shatters at your unsteady voice and sobs. She wants to hug you but also doesn't want to overwhelm you even more. "Slow down yeah, once you take a small breath you'll be ok, trust me?" She squeezes your hand reassuringly, letting you know she's right there. "Youre safe. You're going to be just fine. I'm right here." Her voice was so delicate, you let your mind listen to it feeling the sobs begin to slow. "That's it there you go. Can I give you a hug sweet girl?"
You nod at her kindness, wrapping your arms around her torso and resting your head on her chest. She softly kisses your head hugging you tightly. Your grip also tightens not wanting to let go. "Can we stay like this?" You mumbled into her hoodie. "As long as you need angel." Your eyes close, listening to her steady heartbeat. Feeling that tiredness take over. "Can you try eat a small bit before you get some well needed rest, please?" You nod sheepishly, pulling back but still keeping close to her. "Can you stay with me tonight.." Your voice was unsteady but you honestly didn't care you were more than comfortable with her seeing you like this, you thought you wouldn't be, infact you worried about it for nothing. Maybe that's the same for alot of silly things you stress over. "I still dunno what I'm going to do about this stupid work." Your head lowers, looking at your hands in your lap. She thinks for a bit. "Leave it to me ok?" Your eyes move to look at her. "No no, it's ok-" "Please baby. Let me help you." Her hands gently grab your cheeks, and you just give her a nod. "Good, let's get you to eat then some rest hm?"
It was probably a few months that had gone by, you and Ellie were stronger than ever. Doing so well. You were currently over at hers, her roommate being out, you two were just hanging about in her bed. Laughing, smiling, talking. It was a lovely way to spend your evening together. When she turns to you. "Hey pretty girl." She smirks slightly, glancing ar your lips. "Hello." You reply cheerful. You notice her eyes, wanting to kiss her, leaning in to do so. Her hands sneak to the small of your back as the kiss was slow but heated, with intense passion. "Have you." Kiss "Ever thought." Kiss .. kiss - it slowly moves to your jaw. "About sex." And your eyes go ghost. Your mind runs, your heart pounds. Because no you haven't and there's a divine reason why. "I know I have."
"Don't move you little bitch."
You swallow. "I uhm- I dunno exactly." You could tell Ellie was in the mood, and her kisses were so nice-
"Absolutely pathetic, and you're letting this happen."
You blink furiously. "You make me so happy." The kisses continue, and you freeze. Just like all those years ago. "Youre so pretty baby." Your heart rate picks up again. Your anxiety peeking. "E-ellie.." You wanted to try to tell her. Considering you haven't mentioned it yet. "Mmm?" Her kisses move down to you neck, everything was soft but..
"Dumb. Fucking. Cunt."
You could feel slight tears. "Is this ok?" She asks. And when you don't respond she asks again. "Baby?" Then suddenly she feels something wet hit her nose. "My love?" She looks up this time, seeing the small tears. "Hey, hey." Her voice was velvet, making more tears fall. If anything you weren't as scared to do sex all over again, you felt so incredibly safe with her, and remembering all those flashbacks just proved how new all this was. It felt foreign. "Talk to me pretty." She goes to softly stroke your hair. "Was it something I said?" You just shake your head wrapping your hands around her wrist gently. "You're perfect." A silence. "Then why are you crying sweetheart." Her voice was as tender as her touch and you knew you were in love with this woman. "Because you're perfect." She smiles brightly. "Years ago, I was with this girl. We were together for 2 years when near the end she got incredibly toxic with me. And she well in some words-" You didn't even need to finish your sentence, Ellie knew and immediately hugged you. You returned it tightly, like you always did. That silence came back and it was incredibly comforting. "I love you." You hear her voice whisper in your ear. Pulling back to look at her a little surprised. "You don't have to say it b-" But you cut her off bringing her in for a kiss again. "Yes." That confused her. "I've thought about it with you and yes." Then the smiles return, and so do the heated kisses.
After a short while she moved to be more ontop of you but stops briefly. You look at her, she looks way too good right now. "Can I eat you out angel." Her face was close to yours but the way she asked only turned you on more, the fact she's such an angel with this all is an even bigger turn on for you. "Please do." You breathe. Feeling her slowly take off your shirt, she looks at your breasts admiringly. "You're flawless." You felt heat rise to your cheeks, but not because you were anxious or anything, because your whole body felt like it was heating up, all because of how loving she was. She moves her lips to kiss one slowly turning into a gentle suck, around the skin and on your hardened bud. You breathe out, but even that sounded pretty to Ellie. Making her close her eyes at everything right now. She couldn't get enough of you. "You're so beautiful, so incredibly pretty." She blabs on. Her kisses move down your stomach. Keeping with her tender like touch. She slowly but surely pulls your pajama pants down along with your underwear. She takes a moment to take this all in. "Want to take my time yeah? Promise it's not in a teasing way. You truly don't deserve that especially not right now. Just want to savor hm?" You nod, biting your lip ever so slightly.
"You sure it's ok mama?" She rubs circles on the fat of your thigh. You give her a nod but she shakes her head. "Wanna hear you verbally say it, please?" Your smile grew. "Yes Ellie I promise its ok, please do it." Your soft voice made her smile grow. "Angel girl.." She began, gently stroking your clit. Your breath hitches at the feeling. "Need to make you feel good, gotta." Her mouth slowly comes down to you, licking softly. Delicately. That then turns into sucking and she did not disappoint. She in fact was making you feel good. Amazing even. She keeps the pace, eventually looking up at you and the way you'd react to everything. When you felt her tongue go in you, you lost it entirely. Your mouth hung open with so much pleasure everything felt so natural. It always did. "Mmm, knew you'd be as sweet tasting.. such a perfect girl." You let a moan slip. "E-ellie i-" "Mhmm, feel you clenching on my tongue. I got you baby. I got you." This woman didn't make you last long at all but in hindsight. You were not at all complaining. Because as you began to cum, you feel the most incredible orgasm approaching. You felt content, safe. Secure. "Thereee you go Angel. Atta girl." She mumbles letting you ride out your high on her tongue. "Mmm Ellie please I need you so bad." She licks her lips coming up to your face. "Yeah love?" You nod. She goes to take off her clothes, going to get back ontop of you.
But she stops again. "Why don't we try this." She goes to lay down on her back getting you to straddle her. "You be in control okay? I'm right here to help. Just want to make sure this is perfect for you. All I want." You look at her lips, leaning down to kiss them. Her hands tangle in your hair, giving you a tender scalp massage as the two of you kiss. You situate so your pussys directly on hers, not moving just yet, going to sit up a bit. You begin to move shortly after. Watching as you both open your mouths. Her soft grunt made your stomach do flips. "You're so perfect Els.." Your breath became uneven, in the best way possible. She looks down at the two of you then back at your face, your features. "God your ethereal." Another moan escapes you as you speed up. "Good girl, doing so good." The praise went straight to your core helping egg your orgasm on. "C-Can we cum together, please?" Her heart fluttered at your words. "Ofcourse my angel. Wouldn't want anything more than to do so." Your pace picked up again, letting more moans slip from your pink lips. "So well, so incredibly good. Fuck." You knew she was getting close you could just tell. And so were you. Her hands rest on your thighs, squeezing the flesh. "Ready mama?" You nod with her, cumming with moans. Grunts. Of eachothers names even. As you rode out your high making sure Ellies was met too, your body became weak. Flopping onto her torso. "I love you, Ellie." You say back from about 30 minutes ago. Her smile was like it was tattooed onto her face. "You truly have changed me, Y/n.. and for the better." You close your eyes. Feeling yourself drift of to sleep. She kisses your head, stroking your hair gently. "Wanna marry you some day even.."

husband! mick hcs PLEASEE
husband!mick headcanon
warnings: tooth-rotting fluff; not proofread; mentions of pregnancy; mentions of sex; minors DNI!
Tumblr media
Wears his wedding band PROUDLY! This man will make sure people see he has a ring on his finger and he will most likely find reasons to mention you, it doesn’t matter when. Talking about a traditional dish during race week? “oh my wife loves this!”. The weather? “my wife loves when it's sunny like this”. The flight? “my wife always gets sick in airplanes, but she loves flying anyway”. He will mention you and he will point out the fact that you're his WIFE because he just loves you so much and he loves the life you have together and the idea that you’re his wife, he takes this seriously;
Loves to cook you breakfast though he’s not that good at it, sometimes will burn a thing or two, and often you will find him watching youtube videos to learn to cook something new for you guys;
Mick will try and build furniture whenever you get a new one;
Loves grocery shopping, just strolling around checking things from your list and choosing between which one sounds better/tastier. He thinks it's therapeutic and even goes by himself when you’re too busy with work.
He memorizes all the important dates. Mick never forgot an anniversary or even the birthday of a relative you mentioned;
Your family adores him and so does his with you, so it’s not uncommon to gather everyone every possible time. It’s always a nice crowd and there's just so much love;
Your relatives will ask about babies of course, to which Mick will share a look with you before smiling and saying “soon”;
It’s rare when you fight, but when you do oooh- Mick won’t go to bed angry. You promised each other that, and you were tempted to break it, but then he was at the door with tear-stained cheeks telling you he was sorry and that you would talk in the morning, but you were still his favorite girl and he loved you. You cried too, said sorry, and ended up talking it through before going to bed.
When you suggest getting a new dog so Angie had company, he loves the idea, and for a couple of months you guys keep hinting at each other comments that suggested yet another company for you and the dogs (a baby);
The baby-making season is WILD. Mick will have you whenever and wherever you let him. It goes as far as quickies in bathrooms during parties or gatherings, and right before he races. It's so good and thrilling that at some point you're just having lots of sex without the worry of coming inside and fertilizing;
It does not take long though, just a couple of months and boom you’re having all the pregnancy symptoms;
Husband!mick will get 100000x more careful with you, always making sure you are feeling ok and that you’re safe. He will ask the doctor if you can fly around with him for races and once you get the clear he won’t leave your side if he doesn't have to. And he dreads when he has to leave;
Just overall a sweetheart and does everything and anything for his family.

BESTIE NEW PROMT JUST DROPPED!!!
Emily gets blackout drunk and writes a 1200 page erotica novel (maybe even longer) that makes her girlfriends (Charlie and vaggie) a mix between turned on and mildly concerned the more they read. The hazbins have a bit of a book club because NO ONE knows what’s in the book not even Emily cause she was completely blacked out. It’s a really good book too, the story beats, the characters, the emotions are all leaving the hotel impressed and gobsmacked.
Hah! Okay I just have to write this. Sorry I took a while to respond!(Totally not going to base the novel after a project I'm working on) Emily: (Wakes up groggily and rubs her face as she lifts her head away from a hard object) Ugh... I need to stop asking Charlie's aunt for beezle juice... (Looks down at the object her face was resting on to find a hardcover book called Weeping Horizons. After a moment of looking at it, she notices it says she wrote the book.) Emily: What? I.. I wrote a whole book..? It looks long. How did I even make it hardcover while drunk!? (She looks the book up and down) Well.. Better tell everyone else about this. Later, the whole crew is circled up around this book, eyeing it confusedly. Emily: Next thing I know, I'm wake up with this book. I don't even know what genre it is... (The Hazbins were looking at the book with awe as the cover had a feathered woman with long, pearly white hair curling around her face. The golden eyes of the women sparked a little bit off blood that was inching down her face.) Emily: But the cover looks like my art style.. Charlie: Alright. We'll just read it then! Can't be that bad. (Opens the book tentatively) An hour later, Angel is the only one immune enough to the contents of the book to read it out loud. Angel: Silk gasp as Phoenix licked the blood on her neck and drew circles on her collar bone... (Eyes widen) Okay.. Dove.. (Points at Emily) How the hell are YOU the one who wrote this..!? (Charlie and Vaggie are both blushing profusely and Emily is burying her face in a pillow) Emily: I DON'T KNOOOOW!! I WAS DRUNK OKAY?! Alastor: (Ears are back in asexual disapproval) Yet you have not one grammar mistake... (Flinches back with a small wendigo screech as he reads ahead.) Angel: Well at least I got the stomach for this. (Clears his throat before continuing to read) Half an hour later, it is Vaggie who is reading while the rest of the Hazbins are bawling their eyes out. Vaggie: (Wipes eye) Orchid knew she had made a grave error.. She knew her girlfriends despised her for every moment she had lied. Lied about her past. A shiver went down her spine as she watched Silk's eyes darken. A whimper escaped her.. (Her voice catches) Husk: (Lip trembles slightly) What the fuck are you doing?! Keep reading, dumbass! Angel: FUCK 'EM, ORCHID! I STAND BY YA!! THOSE BITCHES JUST NEED TA LISTEN TO YA! (Cries into Husk's shoulder) Cherri: Fuck you talkin' about, Angi? She ruined there relationship because she lied! She used to kill off civilians like it was pest control! Angel: (Head shooting up from Husk's shoulder) SHE CHANGED AND YOU KNOW IT!! Charlie + Emily: (Hiccupping and clutching either side of Vaggie for support) Cherri: Angi, I will go to war over this. HER REDEMTION ARC HAS BEEN LAME AS FUCK SO FAR!! Angel: (Dramatic ahh gasp) How FUCKING DARE you!! Vaggie: Is no one going to talk about how fucking tragic Pheonix is!? Like hello? Cursed to never be taken seriously but also is why everyone is still as mentally sound as they are! Charlie: (Wipes face) I am SUCH a Pheonix kinnie... Husk: Keep reading! Vaggie: (Sighs and mentally prepares to continue reading.) Should I keep writing this? :3
