Gale+Tara Epilogue Idles Fixed!

I had posted awhile back about Gale being bugged during the Epilogue (he rarely moved from his camp spot, didn't say anything, didn't interact with the party etc.) and he's now been fixed in Patch 6! I was so excited to see him enjoying the party, I ran around and captured all his idles for anyone who wants to see/hear them. They can all be seen in the video below:

Speaking as someone who was constantly late to school, I think punishing kids/teens for being late to school is stupid. Like, I get it. When they’re older, they can’t be late to work and stuff and they need to understand that. But majority of kids/teens are getting to school via their parents or someone else driving them or hell the school bus which is also driven by an adult. So when a kid arrives late and gets punished for it, all that’s happening is a child getting punished because the adult responsible for getting them there on time wasn’t successful. That’s not teaching the kid anything, that’s just annoying. Especially when, as a kid I was always ready on time and it was my parents I was waiting on and then in detention I’d be expected to write down a “what will I do better” that didn’t apply to me because I didn’t do anything wrong

I get that sometimes it will be the kids fault but I feel like those cases are few and far between and punishing a kid for the adults in their life is just counterproductive

If we get a scene of Arya crowning Jon, it needs to parallel the scene of Jon gifting Needle to Arya for me. A personal scene between the two of them that's about their unconditional love for each other. It isn't about Jon becoming King but about Arya supporting him in the same way he supported her. "Girls get the arms but not the swords. Bastards get the swords but not the arms" come full circle with two outcasts supporting each other occupying spaces that society says they can't

Every time I watch the cold open of Memorial and B'Elanna tells Tom about how she ASSEMBLED a 50's television set from SCRATCH just to surprise him (there's no reason beyond that - just an incredibly sweet and thoughtful gesture) and replicated popcorn for him to eat while he watches and Tom says "They didn't have remote controls in the 50's ♥ Also where's my beer?" I contemplate murder ESPECIALLY because B'Elanna responds cheerfully to it - GIRL!!! LEAVE HIM!!!!!! IS HE SUPPOSED TO BE CHARMING IN THIS SCENE????

If I knew how to write I would write about Amy and the fear that even if your friends say they forgive you for their mistakes they may actually still be bothered by it. And the simultaneous fear of accidnetly hurting a friend again and the want to avoid / ran away to avoid hurting them VS the fear that they wouldn’t care enough about you to ever reach out again so you Need to be the one to reach out or you’ll just be alone.

Also how Sonic is who connects her to the rest of her friends other than maybe Cream and Big. How if her and Sonic stopped being friends she’d likely lose all her other friendships too since people would choose Sonic over her (in her eyes.)

(Side note I think that’s also one aspect of why Metamy is interesting to me. Metal would choose Amy over Sonic. Metal Hates Sonic. Metal could be one of the only people Amy would trust to still spend time with her if Sonic stopped liking her.)

I think Amy can be afraid of being left behind and sensitive to rejection and also have way too much trouble trusting that her friends Actually like spending time with her.

i love everything they gave us with maria's character in shadow gens because not only has it made her a much more interesting character, but it's also strengthened how much she and sonic would for sure get along

shes brave and isnt afraid to speak her mind!! i loved her standing up to black doom, the fact that she had the courage to yell at him like that really shows her character. we can also see her standing up for shadow when abe calls him a monster in one of the cut dark beginnings scenes.

and tied in with that is that she finds the unknown and things others would probably find scary or offputting to be interesting!! her parents were worried about sending her to space but she just thought it was cool! and rather than being scared, she finds white space interesting!

and that alongside her talking about the aurora borealis in dark beginnings, and her dialogue about their teacher, we can tell that she also had that scientist-like curiosity and love for knowledge that the rest of her family has :) it makes you wonder what she would've ended up doing if she had gotten to grow up...

i just really like the further details we've gotten, as it honestly lines up with how i've liked to think about her for a while. she wasn't just a whispery sick little girl, she was smart and brave and fascinated by the unknown!!!
