If we are doing this work purely for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, then we will be totally disconnected from both the criticism of the ذام (critic) and the praise of the مادح (one who praises).

Shaykh Yahya Rhodus once mentioned:
"If you cannot sit by yourself for an hour, two hours or three hours without reaching for your phone; you have serious problems before your Lord and you will have difficulty in your grave. If we cannot learn to sit by ourselves, facing the Qiblah, in solitude and darkness, head lowered in a state of Muraqabah and realising that Alläh sees us.
Then when we die and are placed in our graves, there will be a deep sense of alienation. We have to learn how to do this now. Our lives are short and our days are limited. The more we go through this process now, the easier it will be when we meet our Lord."

Prayer Attracts Provision
Shaykh ul-Islam Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawzeeyah [رحمه الله] said:
‏«الصلاة مجلبة للرزق حافظة للصحة، دافعة للأذى مطردة للأدواء، مقوية للقلب مبيضة للوجه، مفرحة للنفس مذهبة للكسل.»
❝Prayer attracts provisions, preserves health, it defends against harm, repels diseases. It strengths the heart and illuminates the face. It gives delight to the soul and removes laziness.❞

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen -Rahimahullaah- said:
'When a person counters afflictions with patience but without hoping for a reward then the result is an expiation for his sins, however if he is patient along with hoping for a reward then the condition becomes such that along with expiation of sins, there is a reward and recompense.
The meaning of hoping for a reward is that a person believes that he will be rewarded for this patience, so he has good thoughts about Allaah and therefore, Allaah will give him what he thought of Allaah.'

Shaykh Uthaymeen [رحمه الله] said:
“Focus on asking Allaah in abundance for four habits in Ramadan, two which are pleasing to Allaah and two which are a necessity.
As for the two which are pleasing to your Lord:
• The first is the Shahada, La ilaha ilallaah.
• The second is seeking repentance.
As for the two which are a necessity, they are:
• Asking Allah for Paradise and
• Seeking refuge in Allah from the fire.
Make sure that you focus on supplications.”

The Four Meanings of
lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāh:
1. Nothing is worshipped other than Allāh.
2. Nothing is sought other than Allāh.
3. Nothing truly exists other than Allāh.
4. Nothing is witnessed other than Allāh.

Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani's advice to his son Shaykh Abdur Razzaq.
My son, "May Allah make you and us and all the Muslims successful." Know again that the Science of Tasawwuf/Tazkiyatun Nafs is based on eight virtues:
1) Generosity from the heart is Prophet Ibrahim/Abraham's virtue.
2) To accept and be happy with the decision of Allah is Prophet Ishaq/Isaac's virtue.
3) To be patient with afflictions and adversities is Prophet Ayyub virtue.
4) To open your door for spiritual signs is Prophet Zakariah/ Zakariyyah's virtue.
5) To assume yourself a stranger with other than Allah, to know that the real exile starts when you are away from Allah. Exile itself is a virtue of Prophet Yusuf/Joseph.
6) To wear rough wool clothing is a virtue of Prophet Yahya/John the Baptist.
7) To travel around the world for divine service is a virtue of Prophet Isa/Jesus.
8) To incline towards poverty is a virtue of the final Prophet and Messenger, our Master Muhammad al-Mustafa. May Allah honor him and increase his esteem.

"Allāh Ta'āla said: "Fight them until there is no (more) fítnāh" fitnāh in this Āyâh means ash-shîrk. "…and (until) the Dīn, all of it, is for Allāh." [2:193]
💨الشيخ أبي عبدالبر الصالحي الكويتي تقبله الله
Shaykh Sulaymān bin Nāsir Al-'Alwān may Allāh hasten his release said: Allāh Ta'āla said: "Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah" fitnah in this ayah means as-shirk. "..and [until] the Dīn is [acknowledged to be] for Allāh." [2:193]
As long as there is shirk present, and other than Allāh is being worshipped, Al-Qitāl [fighting] will remain. Upon this [matter] was the dā'wāh of Sayyid Al-Mursalīn [master of messengers] established, he who was sent down to annihilate shirk and to subjugate the mushrikīn, and to spread the Rāyah [banner] of Tawhīd which means: Worshipping Allāh Exclusively without associating partner to him.
In sahīh Muslim it is narrated from 'Ikrimah ibn 'Ammār who said: I heard Shadād ibn Abd Allāh and Yahya ibn Abī Kathīr saying that Abī Umāmah said: I heard Abu Najīh 'Amr ibn 'Abasah As-Sulamī (رضي الله عنه) saying: "In the Jāhiliyah [pre-Islāmic] Period, I used to think that people who used to worship idols, were deviated and did not adhere to the true Dīn. Then I heard of a man in Makkah who was preaching a message. So I mounted my camel and went to him. I found that [this man who was] the Prophet (ﷺ) remained hidden because of the persecution by his people. I had entered Makkah stealthily and when I met him I asked him, "Who are you?" the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I am a Prophet." I asked; "What is a Prophet?" He said, "Allāh has sent me [with a message]". I asked, "With what has He sent you?" He said, "He sent me to strengthen the ties of kinship, to destroy the idols so that Allāh alone should be worshipped and nothing should be associated with Him."
This hadīth is the fundament of the dā'wāh of Al-Mursalīn [messengers]. So the one who is a sincere advisor for himself, should ponder and think about this hadīth and build the fundamentals of his dā'wāh based on it.

gives for the sake of Allaah

then he has completed Eemaan.❞
