saw someone point out that in jackie's death dream she imagined shauna the way she's always seen her: kind, gentle and full of nothing but love for jackie, even though that version of shauna never completely existed, whereas shauna hallucinated a version of jackie that was incredibly mean and only made jokes at shauna's expense and acted like she's above shauna in every way, when that version of jackie never completely existed either. but both of those versions were the warped way they perceived each other. day ruined

Callie being so pissed off and resentful and standoffish with Shauna but still SO sensitive to her pain like so sympathetic and understanding. like even high at a party she apologizes when she finds out it’s Jackie’s uniform. and when Shauna confesses everything that happened with Adam and the blackmail Callie is pushing her so hard for answers, but as soon as Yellowjacket/wilderness stuff comes up she immediately backs off and gives Shauna the time she needs. like it’s just so clear that all her teen angst is just her being a kid who desperately wants to be closer to her mom and understand her. like she starts acting out and keeping “secrets” in such an obvious way because she’s seen her mom do it for her whole life and she wants Shauna to want to know about her life. and then you get her total attitude shift as soon as Shauna opens up to her because that’s literally all she wanted was to be let in like that
