Sand Tiger Shark | o c e a n o g r à f i c

As reported on the Valencia Oceanographic website "the sand tiger shark (Carcharias taurus) is one of the few sharks which, to maintain its buoyancy, takes mouthfuls of air which it accumulates in its stomach, acting as a float".

Personally, I don't really like animals in captivity. But, sometimes, visit magical places like the Oceanografhic in Valencia it is the only way to see and photograph wonderful animals like this shark within perfectly reconstructed habitats.
