(The last one had like 3 movies that were not Dreamworks so I'm making one that's only Dreamworks, I picked the most iconic)
Don't forget to reblog to make a larger sample size!

I was made aware of this through a reddit post: we can nominate movies to be preserved in the National Film Registry, and we should nominate some Dreamworks movies. Shrek is already in it. The criteria is that the nominations must be at least 10 years old and an American film. With this in mind, I think we should nominate the following movies to be preserved in the registry:
The Prince of Egypt
Chicken Run
Kung Fu Panda
How to Train Your Dragon
You can nominate up to 50 movies at this submission form. Deadline is August 15. The Library of Congress also has a list of notable movies that haven't been preserved in the registry yet, which includes other Dreamworks movies you could nominate:
The Road to El Dorado
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Shrek 2
Shark Tale
Madagascar
Over the Hedge
Bee Movie
Monsters vs. Aliens
Shrek Forever After
Kung Fu Panda 2
Puss in Boots 1
Rise of the Guardians
The Croods
How to Train Your Dragon 2
Penguins of Madagascar

No-no,it wasn’t just you.Lenny didn’t fit in sharks society or even his own family-all because while they perpetuated violence,he was against that, being a fan of not hurting fish and doing some harmless activities.Basically while shark mafia stood behind the use of brute force, which is usually seen as masculine trait,Lenny preferred being a sort of peacekeeper, that was seen as a weakness and “girly trait”.What I mean is sharks saw Lenny’s thoughtfulness and caring nature as a bad thing,so him embracing his more soft side can definitely be seen as gay allegory.
Because for me it was the fact that Lenny was an allegory for homosexuality.
or was that just me.

Oh Lily in the Tumbrl what's your wisdom?
Hmmmm
Despite what the media (and 20 year olds on Youtube may tell you), Gen Z and future generations are no less smart than any other generation. They are smart and kind and lovely.
Let them love cringy-silly things like the Emoji Movie, or The Little Mermaid Scuttlebutt song, or Coco Melon. No matter what, they will grow up to be normal people, I promise. ❤️

i think dreamworks is a great studio and upon watching all of their movies this year for their 30th anniversary, there are very few that I dislike. even shark tale has its moments, sykes is an icon. and i've gained a new appreciation for some of their movies like the httyd series, monsters vs aliens, over the hedge, the croods (especially the sequel). over the hedge was way ahead of its time, and monsters vs aliens is actually secretly a feminist masterpiece.
and their early days just hit different. i mean, we have a CGI movie about ants overthrowing a fascist, two 2D movies in a row, one adapting the book of exodus and the other being a parody of those old "road to" movies, a claymation movie that's basically the great escape, and of course, a certain cgi ogre. quite the lineup!

Shark Tale:
It’s got robert de niro as the don of the shark mafia.
I never actually finished this movie but it does totally have the shark mafia! It's like the regular mafia but with sharks so automatically cooler.
Goncharov:
No propaganda because it'd be unfair.

In the book that Roger Rabbit is based on Jessica Rabbit is your classic femme fatale and a gold digger. Her movie counterpart seems like this at first BUT shes's not bad she's just drawn that way.
Jessica genuinely loves Roger, will do anything to protect Roger, it's implied that Roger is the only person who loves Jessica for her personality rather than her body and Jessica loves Roger because he makes her laugh. It's the other characters that project there assumptions and libido on her.
Despite this her popularity led to characters that imitated the sex appeal but lacked the depth.
Examples: Goldie Pheasant from Rock A Doodle, Holly Would from Cool World, Lola from Shark Tale and Angel from Fish Police. (as for why the last two are fishes is beyond me)
