OM OM OOOOM ! Merry belated Christmas!

Being late has been a credo of mine this month. :P

First time drawing one of my favorite female characters of all time, and it just had to be Christmas-related? Oh well, Genjo had it worse dressed as a reindeer against his will in a certain scene. 😁

Some youkai children put rope on their own clothes to imitate Sharak's "tail", human children also do that. This trend makes Sharak and her army smile. Kids are all the same, no matter which species they are from. They all need special celebrations to help them forget the dangerous situation they're living from both sides. Protecting their future starts with protecting their smile.

Anyhow, i do hope some of my pics made several Saiyuki fans smile as well. I sure enjoyed drawing them, it was quite inspiring.

I made a happy-squeal when I saw her for the first time. I thought she was secretly a villain but I'm so glad she's not. She's pretty too.

Lady from Devil May Cry

How I could not include Lady? She's Lady! Another bad ass who keeps Dante in line.

Mizu from Blue Eye Samurai

I like to portray Mizu as nonbionary but in canon she's female. Still, Mizu is a genderless icon to me so I'm adding them.

Namaari from Raya & the Last Dragon

Badass warrior princess. I wish the movie had more focus on her rivalry with Raya. Namaarie has great potential as a character & deserved more screen time.

Osvald Chapter 5 Final Party Banter

Going to need some time to chew on Osvald's story first. But for now, some good old party banter.

Partitio - And here's the next (possibly final?) installment of A Waste of Time part 3. "I succeeded because I was not alone." and "Perhaps I should listen more carefully going forward." Osvald really has learned a lot from this journey. Proud of you, scholar dad. Agnea - Osvald please listen to Agnea. It's not your fault what happened. And Elena already wants to see you.

Hikari - "they say that no one can defend against the one true source" that's an interesting lore bit there. "Friendship is the power by which any evil can be defeated.' These are Sharak's words." I don't think this was also important lore drop. But I like to think it was one of the many things that caused Osvald to rethink things. Throné - ... you know I was wondering when it would have been pointed out how thieving and mugging were different. Apparently it's simply "Osvald overthinks too much and would rather not think about what each different person he would need to know in order to steal." Great callout by Throné, I think.

Castti - Castti not even hesitating and immediately acting as a war doctor to aid Osvald was so sweet. She really is team mom of the group.

Ochette - This might have been the earliest hint that something had changed about Osvald. But "it smells like...sunlight" does make me wonder what Ochette had related Osvald's scent to before.

Temenos - "You employ a preponderance of words without ever saying what you mean." This might be the rudest thing anyone has said to Temenos, let alone something from Osvald. Granted I think it was warranted with "People tend to interpret silence as hostility" from Temenos.
