I can literally hear Tech whispering this as his last words, eyes wide from pure shock, dying in the arms of one of his brothers. It could be a plan gone horribly wrong, getting caught off guard by storm/clone troopers or he messed up while safely destroying a volatile imperial weapon. Either way, there he is, bleeding out with a final tear falling down his cheek before he is too weak to keep his head up, to keep his eyes open, to keep breathing.

What was once a joke between brothers, now a hollow reminder that the Empire will stop at nothing to stamp out and destroy the galaxy, that they will keep on taking until there’s nothing left to give. It’s the final push that the Bad Batch need to join Rex’s cause.

They wait for Helaena to come inside because they knew it was part of her routine to bid her mother goodnight before she went to bed. Imagine how scared, how helpless Alicent must have felt, knowing two wicked and dangerous men were waiting for her daughter and grandchildren, not knowing yet knowing exactly why all of that was happening, and not being able to do anything to warn or protect her baby girl.
