I'd love for more people to talk about how the only reason Fairy Tail isn't declared a terrorist group (or a dark guild, as per canon terms) is that someone at the council knows that giving them half a chance to retaliate is a fantastic way to ruin your entire month. If you can't exterminate them all in one swift strike then you'd have a better go at things by just charging them whatever fine you want and make them foot the bill of reconstruction efforts, since 'you break it you buy it' is a policy they can understand, unlike things such as 'due process' or 'respecting authority'. They might even accept to spend a short (a very short) stint in prison to appease anyone who needs appeasement, but that's about it. All of them, to a man, would rather be labeled an enemy of the state than accept government interference in their internal affairs.

I love this question, especially because of the concept of being a teammate, basically being the third member of team 7, since I think that another female character should have been the tri-lead and not Sakura (It's not that I dislike Sakura, in fact, I feel that she is a character with a lot of potential but undervalued by her author who only went out of her way to develop Sasuke. Sakura is a wasted potential like almost all the women in the series, which It makes me think that Kishi doesn't know how to write women… or he's lazy because they aren't Uchihas or Sasuke)

In fact, I am thinking in the future of making a fic with a team 7 made up of Sasuke, Naruto and Hinata, since they are the respective reincarnations of Indra, Asura and the descendant of Hamura, but that will be for another post

Well, here I am going to develop Naruto in his early age, that is, Naruto from the first part of the series, it does not include shippuden, the last and I will pretend that Boruto does not exist (don't ask me questions about Boruto, I didn't see the series and I am not interested beyond the concept of Boruto's visual power but only because it would be a development of the byakugan not because I am interested in the character), so here we will see the child version of a twelve-year-old yandere Naruto (if I remember correctly, that's how old he was at that time) until he leaves the village with Jiraiya, keeping this in mind, let's continue

He would trust you 100% if you approached and proposed to be his friend (let's remember part of a flashback in some filler chapter where he went into a dangerous forest to look for a kunai from an enemy ninja of the village just because some stupid and very bad-hearted children said that they would be his friends if he brought said weapon, basically sending him to die if it weren't for Iruka-sensei)

Another thing is that Naruto is tremendously obsessive, just look at how he behaves with his teammates, that will not compare to the obsession he developed with you.

and we must take into account, here Sakura does not exist in his head, you are the prettiest girl in the village and he has made his intentions very clear to you that in the future he wants to be your lover (boyfriend, in a innocent way since he is a kid)

He will not see mistakes or defects, he will fight with Sasuke or Kakashi if one of those two scolds you or disrespects you

he will not like your friends, not because he is jealous or that he thinks they are going to steal you from him, but it is more because of his insecurity and fear of being alone again, that is something you can repair If you make your friends also friends with him

He is clingy to the extreme but not very observant in the sense that he won't always remember your favorite color or food, but at least he remembers special dates.

He will also see you as someone above him and everyone, he is like a worshiper (remember how he thought well of Sakura? It's the same but amplified) you are a being incapable of making mistakes in his eyes

His beloved's opinion is very important to him, so much so that it is above anyone else, above his teacher, Sasuke, Iruka, the ramen guy or even the Hokage.

At this stage he will be a little annoying, irritating and clingy, but nothing dangerous, a child in love, the most dangerous thing about his yandere side would come out later when his crush stops being childish.

Galena, a Rusty Reforger & Pyrite, a Deliberate Deadeye feat. @shroudandsands

In one of worlds fourteenfold, a hyune reforger scales the crags of Alexandria's cliffs and ruins in search of precious electrope, artifacts, and other reusable materials. A scope is trained on him, a voice in his ear, coolly reminding him to watch his footing (as if it needed to be said).

The spotter is an ex-hunter who keeps the levin-cursed monsters and defective sentries off his back with a careful eye and a dead aim. She's also his wife, which makes it that much harder for her to watch him test his scavenging prowess over the deep canyons and crumbling spires that scar the land. Trust him as she does, she has her reasons to be wary.

Galena's methods are unusual. Instead of combing the ground, he climbs. The old kingdom's ruins hide valuable artifacts and electrope caches that would be out of reach for most, but more worrying is his choice not to wear a regulator despite the many obvious dangers. Among the reforgers, it's not wholly unusual for someone to refuse a regulator, but those who know the two hyune know well: it's not a choice made lightly.

Deep in the heart of Everkeep, Pyrite stalks the alleys of Solution Nine with a portion of the materials her husband gleaned from the old kingdom. It's how he can offer his support for the organization Pyrite now dedicates her time and talents to.

And an ex-hunter always finds ways to keep herself sharp; sentries vanish, dismantled and sold for parts in True Vue's less reputable markets. Weapons from the manufactories on the lower floors go missing and wind up in rebel hands. Should Galena's hands ever slip, all she'll have of him is the recordings and images hidden away on encrypted data shards—assurance that they'd keep their promise never to forget again*.

Chess pieces describes the Pontaff characters perfectly, they just make bad jokes and act in an uncharacteristic manner to move the "plot" alone, regardless of whether it fits the characters or not.

Actually, no it doesn't. You can't swap out Tails in Lost World with any other character, as Tails' frustration with Sonic trusting Eggman wouldn't make sense, nor would anyone else be able to not become a robotic slave the way Tails did. The ONLY character I would think would be able to get out of that is Silver, but he wouldn't be AROUND to join Sonic. He'd be fighting the Zeti on his own.

Another moment that wouldn't make sense for any other character is Tails getting puppeteered in Colours. If it were Shadow or Silver getting puppeteered, you bet your ass Sonic would have fought them instead of looking desperate for it to stop, and there'd be no chance Sonic would ever try to shield ANY of his other friends from Eggman like he does with Tails.

In Forces, it wouldn't make any sense for any other character to lead like Knuckles, nor would anyone be brave enough to fight Infinite like Silver was. You HAVE to think of how the characters behave in certain situations, anon. Because right now, none of the 'Pontaff' games aren't selling on the idea of Chess pieces like IDW makes them.

got 3 tips for artists who are struggling with doubt?

oh boy! as someone who struggles a lot with doubt, i hope these tips will help because i haven't been using them long enough for them to properly kick in (with the exception of no. 3)

1. try not to compare yourself to others. emphasis on try. i recommend forcing yourself to think more along the lines of "what do i like about this art piece that i didn't draw? what are the stylistic choices i want to try out for myself and what are the things i simply enjoy?" instead of "this art piece is so much better than mine"/"this artist is so much better than me"

2. fake it 'til you make it! feel like an impostor? put on spy or among us music and be the best damn impostor ever! feel like your drawing/writing/whatever is shit? say how good it is out loud! or say it's the best you can do at this moment and it's a necessary step in your progress (this is what i do. start off neutral and build up to positivity <3). hate a particular thing you did? bring out something you did well!! whether it's one single dot that was well placed or a whole ass composition.

3. LEAVE IT!! JUST LEAVE IT AS IT IS!! the longer you stare and poke at your art, the worse you're going to feel and the more mushy it's going to get. leave it as it is, come back at any point from a few hours to a few months and then either redo it completely or finally fix the stuff you can now do better. what i do is that, at my worst moment while drawing (as in, no matter what i focus on, it looks bad or i can't get going again), i think and speak the words "it is what it is, leave it." and then force myself to put it away and do something else.

hello! can I ask if you have any list of accounts you trust when it comes to f1 data? i noticed there are accounts who come to different conclusions with things like race pace data, and i guess it's their methodologies that differ... i don't want to be misled if somehow there's bias.

So I have a few.

First I want to say that no account is perfect and sometimes mistakes are made etc. So always keep that in mind.

I really like @/F1telemetrydata they do good work and just process the numbers and I think their graphs are also presented in a way that's a good representation of the data.

But yes this is an issue I see in Twitter data accounts all the time. Bias can be present in data accounts, even if it looks like it's just numbers. Very often they cherry pick data and present things in bad faith to make one driver look significantly better than another. I think it's usually pretty obvious when they are doing this.

And this is also a broader issue in statistics as well. Choosing the data to sample and how to present it can be a big issue and can easily be used to mislead people who do not know how the math works and how data should be presented.

If you are really wanting to combat bias I highly suggest looking at the raw data. Does it confirm what people are saying? Things like race pace and speed are pretty easy to pick up just by looking at the raw lap times. Processing it into graphs is nice and makes it easier to see the differences but the raw data does tell the truth.

Also be aware of what is helpful to compare. Sometimes we can compare stats but are they good things to compare? Do they tell us anything useful that a team might care about?

I also want to say that sometimes people and even analysts get terms wrong. I see people swap terms like race pace and speed all the time and those are different things. They are connected but they are different.

Speed would be single lap time Race pace is average lap time

You can get one really good flying lap in a race but then be slower than your teammate the rest and have severe drop offs in speed due to poor tyre management.

Also data really is only one part of the story of a race. Context always matters. Saying X was faster than X without mentioning that one driver had damage beyond their control is a bad faith comparison. The raw data would show a driver being faster, but that doesn't tell the whole story.

So a big thing is to pay attention to who tries to put things into context and who does not. When I put things into context myself and do comparisons I try to always pick a driver's best performance during a race etc. It usually helps make my point either way. For example any reporter or data analyst who did a comparison of Charles' pace to Carlos or any other driver from Bahrain and did not mention Charles serious mechanical issue with the brakes I do not trust. That is a case where even doing that comparison isn't really useful because a mechanical issue means the data is flawed. A lot of accounts and reporters just did a raw comparison without taking that into account and anyone who watched the race can tell that is in bad faith.

It is a fallacy to believe that the data tells 100% of the story. It doesn't. If someone looked at just the data from a race they would probably make very different judgements and assumptions than someone who did.

For example in Miami someone just looking at the data would go "Oh Oscar really lost a lot of pace on his second stint. He needs to work on his hard tyre pace." But someone who watched the race would know that Oscar's slower pace in the second half of the race was due to the fact he was battling with Carlos and then took damage. They'd know that his pace after that is not fully reflective of what his pace would be without damage, as well as the overall quality of his driving.

Again remember no one is perfect. I am not perfect and make mistakes/overlook something/fail to catch something altogether. A lot of data accounts are just one fan who loves the sport and wants to do math.

I prefer accounts that just process the raw data without editorializing(ex pointing out one driver against another) just show me the graphs etc, that's a very neutral way to do it.

You have brought up a broader issue in statistics. Like different ways of processing data, what to include vs exclude etc That is a big thing in all stats. And some people know how to massage numbers to fit an agenda. This happens all the time(especially in any kind of political data presentation)

I think the best thing is to be aware of bias, learn how to spot it, and then take it into account alongside the information someone is telling you. That's simple on paper but sometimes it's tricky in practice.

I realize this post has turned into a mini lecture on stats fallacies etc and I probably didn't need to say all of that, but hopefully it's educational to someone.

Numbers don't lie, but they sure do like to do loopty loops with the truth sometimes.

I think for Guz and me, our usual dates (that involve leaving Po Town fdsjkl) in Alola are: looking for wimpods on the beaches and just general beachcombing, neither of us are really fans of just... sitting on beaches fdsjkl we always gotta be Doing smth; visiting cafes to get tapu cocoa and malasadas and ice cream and all that sort of thing (Aina's Kitchen on Melemele Island is one place that is canonical!); watching sunsets from mountains or beaches (no way are we waking up early enough to see sunrises LMAO); museums and other touristy type of things (I think Guz wouldn't have done much of that bc of his previous angst lol so a lot of it would be new for him too :3); just walking around in general tbh, I love walking and just seeing the sights even in my own neighbourhood irl LOL; OOOH and I don't know if there's any canon spots for this but I like to think there's probably some really cool tucked away natural pools of water inside of caves that would be great for swimming and cooling off in, there's some really good mountains on the different islands for that sort of thing :O

i think most of it involves just getting out around the region and spending as little money as possible fsdjkl, neither of us are big on Big Romantic GesturesTM so we keep it casual and just hang out :] I think we tend to stay on Ula'ula for the most part but we definitely make it a point to visit the other islands as much as we can because it's good to get out and see different things !!! also because Aina's Kitchen is likely a favourite spot of ours so we'd have to go to Melemele for that hehe :3

Ok, I'm assuming you mean the three brothers are platonic yandere and we're talking about them having a sister (since you didn't specify the pronouns so I assume she's female), because if they're romantic yandere, the story changes and doesn't end well... for your potential partner, nothing will happen to you, but, if you don't choose Sabo or Ace (Luffy could not satisfy your romantic and sexual needs or give you children, that is something that the two older brothers know and that is why Luffy does not count as an option), you will have to pray for that person to be stronger than the three brothers combined and let's not forget Luffy's super power to make everyone yandere platonic with you, it is something that you must take into account, because if not, the answer is that your partner will not continue to be your partner in the near future, they will be very lucky if they survive the jealousy of Sabo and Ace, (of the three, Sabo is the most prone to do a lot of damage but he gives a second chance to make a new life elsewhere, in return Ace is the most likely to kill out of sheer fear of being abandoned)

Going back to the fact that they are platonic yanderes, it will seem incredible to you, but the truth is, none of the three of them would have any problem if their sister wants to date or if she has a boyfriend or girlfriend, they would even support her if she intends to marry someone (and that poor soul better say yes to his sister or they will see the consequences), as long as they are a good person, makes sister happy and does not cheat on her with another person (if he does he is a dead person), they are well with the relationship, maybe Luffy will get a little upset because you won't spend so much time with him anymore, but Ace and Sabo will manage to distract him or take him to another place so that you can have private moments with your partner, especially if he's a man

And you will wonder, why do you say that "especially if it's a man"? You see, they (I mean the older brothers) know that you are a mature, attractive and intelligent woman and like all women of your age (because They will never let you have a relationship as a minor) you have needs, needs that your male partner can satisfy, and if from those needs they get some beautiful nieces and nephews to obsess over too, then everyone wins, right?
