Caleb sighed, though in truth he didn't expect any other response. This was war after all. And he understood why Ghost was being cautious.

Caleb turned around and faced the wall with his hands till up, and tried to keep his heart from jumping out of his throat.

"Yea I got that from the legends, got zip ties in my back pocket if that helps." He half ass joked before glancing back. Though he had to look up,... he hadn't exactly realized just how much taller Ghost was than him, and it was adding to the intimidation.

"Believe me or don't, that's your call, but if I was lying why wouldn't I have just let the other guy waltz in here, and draw you out? Or try to radio out that we saw something? I mean you are the one with the gun."

Caleb half expected that it was Ghost. Everyone knew why he had the nickname after all. But that also meant he had to be three times more careful. So he took a deep breath, made no sudden movements, and listened closely.

As he was told not to scream he just nodded. Then the order to loose his radio and carrier. He did so carefully, and tossed both well out of reach. He never broke eye contact with the Ghost however. Caleb wasn't exactly trying to hide that he was a little intimidated. But then again anyone who claimed not to be intimidated by the literally face of death, was either a fool or had a death wish.

"I've got a couple bowies on me,... I'm gonna undo the thigh carrier, and drop 'em." He stated, before slowly unfastening the snap buckle, and letting the sheath fall to the floor with a thud. Now he was completely unarmed against the other operator, and he hoped that at least helped his case.

"Graves is taking the majority of the team to the plaza. Twenty on him, twenty sweeping the buildings.... L-Look,... I know somethings seriously fucked about this whole situation. So let me help you and your men. " He asked with a twinge of urgency in his voice, cutting through the thick southern American accent. Though there wasn't any hint of hesitation or deception in his eyes.

Hi everyone! It’s Nat, I know this isn’t like me, but I really want to thank you all, from those who have joined and left to those who’ve stayed here in our little corner of the tumblr internet, I’m Natalie, I have several social anxiety and i usually hide by the veil of Ari, my online persona. Over the years I’ve tried more and more to come out of my shell. And this account has helped so much. I struggle sometimes, but I’ve taken great care of myself here lately. I’m a victim of COCSA, and r@pe, and have struggled socially even online. This was a big step for me to make this account. And I can’t thank all my friends and acquaintances here enough. I’ve went from bed rotting, and SH, and an ED to, sober of all of that. Which I haven’t been in a long time. I know this is kinda dark, but for me, I see the light. ((okay, I'm actually kind of scared I made him a little "stereotypical" but uh... Here's my little guy. I know he's very feminine and soft.. my art style makes it worse though.. but uh yeah... I tried explaining stuff a little more below the cut, and I added a few extra details + a drawing of him from his childhood))

((ALSO DISCLAIMER!! I do not know a lot about the army's recruiting processes, or about how shadow company would choose it's soldiers, so if he's unrealistic, forgive me and please don't judge me over it I'll actually cry))

I added a small sketch to show his scars in the corner because I had them all covered up by his clothes..most of them are on his legs since he's incredibly clumsy, or well not focused on where he's going, often walking right through thorn bushes, and right into any sort of sharp weapon below his line of sight

His actual name is Caleb but he mainly just responds to 5-05 or shadow 5-05, he doesn't share his last name for safety reasons (and because it embarrasses him). He has something called central heterochromia (where the inside colours and outside colours of the eye are different) and his face is covered with freckles. Most of his clothes are shadow company merch, or his shadow company uniform, he's not very into "wasting" money on clothes that he "doesn't need". Most of his clothes aren't even bought by him, usually just old hoodies from his older family members (usually cousins) which he would stitch or paint shadow company stuff on (like the "I ❤️ shadow company" hoodie). This guy does not brush his hair btw, no reason for it, he just forgets to do it and when he remembers he doesn't see the point in it, he ends up with his hair all messed up because of it

He's 5'3 (short king) and probably just about average or slightly under average weight. He's from Wales (best country ever /j) too because of course he is (it's where I'm from). He's also gay & polyamorous 👍

His birthday is the 5th of November and he's 26 years old :D

Fun fact; he once had an accident where fire was involved! (the pink scars seen in the sketch are from this accident). I might go more into detail about this in the future but I will say that it has caused him some issues (I can say it was genuinely an accident, no one else was involved)

Another fun fact though! His biting obsession comes from his childhood, where he was often seen as "too weak" to fight "properly" due to being too short and too thin. He ended resorted to biting and scratching to defend himself, this got him the reputation as "the cat" (which may or may not be a source of trauma for him as he was bullied for it relentlessly). Despite that though his favourite animal remains a cat :)

(Chaos from the @shadowcompanys-medic-beaks askblog here! Technically Beaks originally worked for the 141 before getting fired and joining Graves. Though I was wondering if your character saw anything funny about the sleep deprived(and admittedly rather… concerning in the mental health department) yet boisterous medic via the tapes while she still worked there. You don’t have to! I adore your blog btw. I think the surveillance thing is so clever and ingenious of you! :D)

Hmm…well, the tapes from back then have collected a bit of dust, I’ll admit, but everything from back then would be somewhere in the locked cabinet I so lovingly call the Void.

Most of the medical staff gets a free pass from blackmail candidacy, they’re the one department I’d say is more so overworked than tech and maintenance around here. Most of the medics are guilty of these, actually, though Beaks…hmm.

I’ve got a few nights of what might *seem* to be sleepwalking? Tending to ‘patients’ in sleep? Said patients include a concerned coworker, a fridge, a coffee pot, and a couch. Common for high-stress medic staff, though Beaks is also apparently caught on tapes laying face-down on the floor and trying to ask for various dressing supplies. …I can’t tell if that’s another instance of sleepwalking, unfortunately. Judging by coworker reactions and responses…they couldn’t say either.

other than that…pretty common stuff. Sleep deprivation one day then inconspicuously tossing out an old energy drink can or a cup not long after… Skipping mental health checks by being on the complete opposite end of base. The norm
