I was trying to say I don't understand how roleplay accounts can be so mean and negative when a roleplay account is meant to be fun for shits and giggles. I don't understand how you can criticize roleplay. It's roleplay, everyone has their own portrayal of different characters, and roleplay is meant to be fun, for shits and giggles. if you don't like it, just don't go looking for it? I'm very glad that you spoke up about this issue Renn <3!

I’m not criticising roleplay blogs. What I’m criticising is their choices to “roleplay” blatantly negative comments on existing fanart and fanfic for the sake of roleplay, thus damaging the morale and confidence (and quite frankly the respect) of content creators

according to the mess crew at the time, it was about another 2 days’ supply 😅

I think this somebody had to spend a day or two in med, I’m not too sure about that. All I know is that about 3 days after, I was approached and bribed with about half a paycheck’s worth of caffeine supplies and asked to scrub the tapes 🤷‍♀️

This one here was an urgent request that I got from ~somebody~ to wipe the tape from new years’ eve, in the east wing just outside the mess hall. This somebody got drunk two hours pre-countdown and decided raiding the mess for all the leftover pudding was a good idea 😬

It is actually indeed very harmful to the creator to do this whether you “think” it is or isn’t. Nobody who’s worked hard on fanfic or fanart wants to imagine the sole portrayal of their character “comment” on their hard-made piece just shit all over it for the sake of roleplay. It’s not cool, it’s not funny, it’s not anything but being a dick to the creator. They deserve respect, guys, and if this continues then we won’t have very many creators left after this rp blog wave who want to create anymore without feeling the crippling anxiety of somebody role play their fav characters, use that character against them.
