So, I have this shadows house AU (TLDR : There are creatures called shadows that don't have a face and to compensate, they have 'living dolls' to act as their faces. Also, shadows produce soot when experiencing negative emotions and said soot can be used for energy) for a while, so hear me out :

(There will be spoilers for Shadows house so be warned)

So basically Shadow! Alice gets invited to the adults wing and TLDR, the adults believes she's dead since when they opened the unification box neither Shadow! Alice or Doll! Alice is present. Still they keep it a secret from the residents of the children's wing as to not cause chaos and unrest, so Shadow! Norton believes that Shadow! Alice is alive and well.

Then, by some unknown means, Shadow! Norton gets upset, causes a soot explosion, and severely damages Doll! Norton face (Just like Barbara) and WHOOPS! That means Shadow! Norton can't become an adult cuz damaging your 'face' is a huge No No for the unification process, but the adults make a deal with him : Act nice, contribute to the children's wing, and heal the scar on Doll! Norton's face and he'll get invited to the Adults wing and become an adult!

(Only they won't invite him cuz they know Doll! Norton's scar won't heal and they plan on ising him like a living battery until he dies)

So some things I put in this lil thing are just where my mind went after all this COOLNESS and thinking 'if the kid shadow can't be allowed to go to the adult wing do they not age with the 'living doll'/human?' and I liked that thought so I drew kid shadow!Norton and then I saw the one shadow come back as the little part of itself that is left so I was wondering if that is what could have happened to shadow!Alice to help 'living doll' Alice 👀 (mainly wanted to draw the little lol)

This is swap au, which main goal was to make Philip Luz's mentor and father figure👉👈. This au is silly. And it's not thought out further than the main gang, so don't ask me questions about its lore, I don't know it myself. But it's still one of my oldest and beloved aus

I've been hiding it under my desk more than 7 months for a reason, if you interested, there's an explanation under the cut

2022-2023 winter was an emotionally difficult time for me. So I created The Shadow House and found comfort and consolation in it. I was really sensitive about this au so I was afraid to show it off. And when The Finally was released it DIDN'T help

so you see, i was minding my business, drawing and looking at cookies and how everyone has their own cool aus with awesome designs and i went "well im not very good at designing but i Love putting characters in Situations"

this au is mostly focused on shadowvanilla so dont be too hopeful I'll get into the other cookies besides their little circle, im ill for gay yaoi only okay

So! motions to comic above, amnesia smilk time! let me elaborate

Pure vanilla fucked up BIG TIME, in that he maybe ventured out to beast yeast alone to try and find out more about the beasts and a way to stop them, as people with a savior complex have a habit of doing. Maybe, perhaps, also at the same time, smilk was getting the workings of his new dough body done and sensing pv was nearby decided to take the opportunity to torment him a little, yknow he cant help himself! he needs to see him

a nasty little fight and confrontation in some old structures of smilk (or at the spire) result in pv using a strange spell he spotted in the surrounding papers and documents, and .... accidentally cracks smilk's soul jam! hehe, oops!

and also sealing his memories. double oops. damn, what are you gonna do now pv?

well he cant leave confused smilk alone here, and itd honestly be best the other beasts and dark enchantress dont drag him back there in this state, so he offers a hand.

"Come with me. We can help you, I'll make sure you're okay."

a memory-less smilk is confused by this but... he's already grabbing the other cookie's hand before he realizes it. It'll probably be fine, something about this cookie... makes something in him feel okay.

of course I'm always of the mind that pre-corruption smilk was kind of a rat and rude but how exactly is the real question!! how bad was it before the corruption exacerbated the negative qualities of knowledge and his personality

I almost like to think that Clockwork kind of half-sent Danny to the ghost-world version of Gotham because he was struggling and is honestly just a kid and could use some guidance. And with how the Observants dislike him to the point of murder, CW sure couldn't keep him in Long Now. But Gotham? Now there's a place that not many go, thanks to curses running amok, a very dangerous City Spirit, and amalgamations of fallen Guardians and Rogues. It's chaotic, dangerous, and a hell of a shot, but the Bat could, and most probably would assist the newborn guardian. The living world and the infinite are intertwined after all, influenced by whatever realm it drifts closest to.

Thankfully Danny seems to be enjoying himself- he has a proper ghost friend now! And he's starting to be able to understand Batblob's cacophony of Silent-EverSilent-Gurgles-DistantWhispers-QuietScreamsSilence easier too without Robin translating. (His Ghost-Speak is getting so good :D) He wishes he could bring Sam & Tucker but it's a little too far into the ghost zone. And the ghosts and Vlad doesn't bother him here! (The last time he tried, unknown to Danny, the older halfa was met with a malicious swarm of teeth and maws ready to rip and tear and not lose another child again-) He's even gotten shown the exits to the living-world's Gotham. Robin likes to ramble about the new and different living-robins and about their friend who was also a robin and who disappeared one day and whose core they carry on their belt. Maybe he can help them find out what happened to him...

" Siiiiigh.... I can't believe Reader Cookie doesn't want to believe that i just wanna hang out with them." He sighed dramatically, draping himself over the bed in an exaggerated fashion. " They're so mean... Sob sob..." " You did not just seriously say 'sob sob' out loud." You said, opening your eyes to look at him in a flabbergasted manner. That was all it took. He immediately switched up to make eye contact with you, his gleaming blue heterochromatic eyes staring into your own as they began to swirl. " Did I? Or maybe you're just imagining things. Say, we should get that checked out if your hallucinating, yeah?" He suggested, you could feel yourself nodding along already. " Good, now if You'll just remove this-" " I'm kidding, I know I'm not hallucinating." You say, instantly breaking the illusion that you were under his spell. " Wh- What!? How'd you-" " Yeah so it turns out repeated exposure to hypnosis can grant you a bit of a resistance, how funny." You say with a smirk, watching Shadow Milk Cookie's expression turn into a pout.
