Honestly, rewatching fhsy after watching the seven and retconing some of the behaviors of the maidens makes sense

I don't buy that he meant this 100% genuinely. like yeah I'm sure he appreciates having a new fancy gun but I believe he's just letting the team think his childhood dream was to be a fireman. bc if it actually was an unrealized childhood dream why wouldn't he just tell Boondario that. maybe so Boondario wouldn't feel guilty abt Taiya sacrificing his time and effort to make Boondario's dream a reality? who knows

Perhaps I'm being a bit judgemental of leadernim red. maybe Taiya is just a boy who was denied fulfilling his dreams for one tragic reason or another. dreams like riding a lion. would love to hear that backstory one day

ok i let it sit for a second and i think the reason why niki's joke kind of rubbed me the wrong way is because of what qt said at the end of the show about how there's so much negativity and horrible stuff in the streaming space but the award show is supposed to be a night of positivity.

I don't really care about the actual joke, niki can say what she wants who gives a shit, but why would she bring up the guy who wasn't there and wasn't nominated instead of solely celebrating the super talented nominees? Why would you want to remind everyone about how toxic and awful the minecraft streaming space is instead of highlighting all the good that comes out of it?
