If she had to count all the times that sometime has stumbled to her doorway bleeding. This would be the second time; at least this time, it's not literally to her apartment of a beautiful woman she had just sang with, who passed on her literal soul and powers onto Grace.

Thrust her into a whole world that she ignored, only worried about from the news and did the whole evacuate the city with Freddie, Kaz, and Brian whenever robots or aliens attacked. Whatever the big bad villain of the week was.

NOW SHE'S GOT POWERS, A DUTY, THE CHANCE TO GET DRAGGED INTO SUPER-SHIT !

He looks banged up, in a costume which can only tell her two things either he's a good guy or a bad guy, hiding his face. There's a sort of frenzied feeling about him; which is concerning ⸻ what's that about ⸻ it's like he's more upset about something else than being hurt. YOU COULD HELP CALM HIM, GET HIM TO SING ABOUT WHAT'S INSIDE.

Freddie would know who this was, she knew all about costumed figures and greek gods for that matter. Grace rushes over to go help him, leaving her sanctuary of not-so-fresh alleyway air.

❝ Uh, not to alarm you, dude, but can I take you to the hospital ⸺ or that's not gonna fly, is it? ❞ REINFORCED PLATING, MASK. Grace has a got a feeling about this one. SHIT! There's a first aid she could retrieve from inside; hadn't even bothered locking up yet. ❝ You're not as lucky with running into me, sorry. I provide a different kind of healing. ❞ SORTA OF, KIND OF. A weak chuckle leaving her lips.

❝ But I do have a first aid kit inside the theatre here. It's something? ❞ Blood on her hands, this guy must have been in a bad fight. She'll have to google to see what the nightly news on supershit was. LATER. LATER. BLOOD ON HER HANDS.

So time for some Ghost and New Hyrule rambles and whatnot.

This is kinda spoilery but at this point I don't actually care lol.

So. Ghost.

I'll just do some dot points to split this up a bit.

Ghost is Lokomo. Or, as fully Lokomo as he can be. He's the direct descendant of the Hero of Winds from his younger daughter, who escaped the island with the Lokomo tribe during the "Day of Dawning". Which, there's a lot to say about that but it's not important right now how or when that all happened.

Saying the Hylians of New Hyrule aren't very fond of the Lokomo is a massive understatement. This is a huge problem for everyone, but we're going to focus exclusively on why its a Ghost problem for now

Being Lokomo and a Hero is an issue for two reasons

1) The people of New Hyrule don't see him as a real hero. They fully believe he's just some boy who's taking the place of a deserving Hylian. So they constantly ask him to "prove" himself and belittle him over things when he can't live up to their expectations. They see him as a stupid Lokomo trying to steal the legacy from his 3 times great grandfather. (Shit I forgot how big I made the gap between WW/PH and ST that seems so much time. It's necessary but. Damn past me.)

New hyrule is not free of war. I say this because I considered for awhile having Ghost be the one who fought in the War of Eras alongside of the Hero of Winds (not replacing the Hero of Time, just as an inclusion), but decided it was best not to. I didn't want to shove too much story into just one character. Plus, it can overshadow the plot and ultimately makes the other Heroes look bland in comparison (not to say they don't have a lot going for them too, but we can talk about them when we get to them). And i just really want the Hero of Ages (??? What is your title my guy) to have the war to themself. So New Hyrule instead suffers civil wars because I couldn't let go of the idea. This is mostly in consequence to me basing the Lokomo off of the Scottish (and I suppose on that line the Hylians are the English? I guess? More on them another time) and also because it was interesting story wise. And it just, makes sense for the story.

With the way I'm going to be portraying the people in ST it would make less sense for them not to end up in a war.

Which brings us to reason 2) Ghost is in a constant tug of war between duty to his title and duty to his people. During the second civil war, (day of reckoning? I haven't fully decided on a name yet) the crown is demanding he remain loyal to his title as the Hero of New Hyrule, and therefore defend the Hylians. While his heart remains with his people, who he wants to fight alongside.

So, this is a problem, because how does Ghost choose?

His whole life, he's been raised as Lokomo, but he's always been told that one day his duty would be to the Crown. (Blah blah super senses blah blah they were gonna force him to be an engineer whether he liked it or not because the Hylians needed someone to maintain the Spirit Tracks for them, and the Lokomo people couldn't handle another battle so soon after the first blah blah they gave him up sorta. More later on this it's too much spoilers for now)

When he's pulled into the portal and meets Twine, it's right after he's been told to choose. His duty, or his people. He couldn't. He was given till the end of the day to make his choice before the hylians went on without him with their plans to start another war with the Lokomo.

If he chose the Lokomo, he'd be killed. If he chose the Hylians, he'd forever be hated and Exiled from his tribe. What to do?

Well, good thing he didn't have to choose. Because that's when the portal showed up.

Which smoothly transitions us to the reason this fic was written. The driving force: Time Limits. Deadlines. Working against the Clock.

Anddd that's all I'm gonna say. Much more and I get into Big Important Plot™️ territory. Even though all I want is to share stuff with y'all I actually cannot this time :((

Extra fun fact, Ghost and the Hero of Ages (Eras? Warriors? War? I can just. Make one up. right? theres no actual. set title) will be bonding over war. No I will not explain.

Extra extra fun fact, Ghost likes to chase storms. Is that important? Mayhaps.

very rusty doodle, but wanted to try some shattered glass orion :3 i think orion would be falsely-noble and righeous, almost akin to sentinel, and primus (evil) would treat him as such with gifting him the matrix and giving him the constant jesus spotlight.

alright cool where do we start (pulls off my huge conspiracy board wall)

i wanna imagine that most events stayed the same. d16 and orion were good friends, orion was adventurous and d was sternly worried, but it starts getting strained as they go on their journey for the matrix. meet b127, join elita, then learn about the truth of iacon via sentinel prime (replacing trion) on how alpha trion is a false prophet.

instead of orion + gang crashing out right here, orion realizes that. huh. sure, trion kinda bad for caging them all up and forcing them to do this dirty work, but this leadership kept them afloat and all that power completely intoxicates orion for a minute. d16, very obviously, kinda hates that. why are we being put to work for trion's misdeeds? this is horrible, guys!! and orion only seems to yearn for that complete autocracy trion has and he wants for himself. after all, all those rebellious moves was him wanting to give himself more autonomy, more power, and here was a method that works.

they met the high guard, led by starscream who wants to put a stop to trion's tyranny, and d16's the only ones whos like "oh hell yeah im on board brother". maybe theres some sort of orion vs starscream fight here? but its more fuel to the fire for their relationship. something something this post on how d16 thinks hes the crazy one, something something.

jump cut to d16 fighting trion. hes rightfully furious at this all and wants him dead, and is even willing to kill him infront of all of iacon. orion stops him, saying how they can let him live, let him do the dirty work, but d16's now properly scared of his best friend. he cant let orion do this, he needs to make sure this all ends. it turns into a dpax fight, and when theyre not looking, d16 manages to kill trion, a strike from his canon. this completely infuriates orion, and he pulls out his axe to kill d16, but starscream (whos been assisting d16 the whole time) jumps out infront and takes the blow. d16's devastated and jumps after starscream's body that nearly falls into cybertron. holding his wrist, still seeing that hes holding on, d16 tries to pull him up when, in his moment of vulnerability, he's kicked. orion pax, his best friend, kicks him and starscream into the inner gore of their planet, plummeting towards the unforgiving primus.

the bystanders of iacon doesnt see this. they can only see so much from their angle, and when orion steps back, all they see is a bot, energon-splattered and shaken from the attempt on his life. so, what does he do? he paints on the most pathetic, worry-stricken face when he turns to his people, voice wracked with grief when he woes on the horror that unfolded before him. when d16 falls through cybertron, holding onto starscream and trying to find leverage on the edges of iacon's structure, orion rises, taking trion's matrix from his chest and tells the people of iacon that he will make sure he leads everyone into a brighter future, one rid of these animalistic lowly bots. and when he replaces his cog, speaks to his people, and sings of his future, primus makes sure to cast a brilliant spotlight on him, as if a new savior truly has arrived.

just before he can completely level all of iacon, megatron rises from the pits, armed with ratbat, and sets to finally take down optimus prime and stop this. unfortunately, optimus is simply too strong with the matrix, and hes forced to retreat with whats left of starscream, and the high guard. aaaaannnnnddd now SG TFO is just optimus leading millions of autobots under his leadership, unknowing of his betrayal, and a new group of decepticons trying to stop them once and for all.

ok thats all , maybe one day ill draw/write this all (shrug). time being, have evil optimus prime <3

I wrote a Dream I'd had of my father cutting open his chest and taking out his heart and pressing it into a stone until there was no blood left in it. I did not understand the Dreams I wrote down, but I thought that one day someone might, and so I recorded them.
