"that's a lot of people," you murmured as you and seungcheol were guided onto the red carpet.

"yea, it's usually like this," he mentioned. “if they ask questions, you can answer them if you want to, but i bet most of them are gonna be about us dating,” he added, knowing that you were nervous about your relationship going public. you nodded your head.

"girlfriend, look this way!"

flashes from cameras kept going off as you and seungcheol were getting your pictures taken by the press who were present. a staff member guided you every so often to continue on.

"you okay?" seungcheol asked as you two walked a bit to the next spot.

"mhm, it's just really bright," you said with a slight smile in order to reassure him.

he smiled back at you, "don't worry. i'm not used to it either," he said to reassure you. "it won't last this long though."

"you okay?" seungcheol asked you again. you nodded and kissed his cheek. "good," he smiled and kissed your forehead.

"i'd prefer if it wasn't on camera," you replied and both of you approached them.

"where's everyone else?" seungcheol asked.

"they're already sitting down. we were waiting for you guys," jeonghan answered.

"the press sure liked seeing you guys more than us," dino commented, "but noona does look really pretty."

you looked down at your dress for a second before looking back up and shrugging your shoulders, "i tried."

"let's go sit," the8 said, "i think hyung said they want photos of us in there," he added, mentioning their manager.

you guys walked inside the venue, going through the path for celebrities (despite you just being a guest). you reached the rest of the guys who were sitting together.

"hi y/n!" seungkwan greeted while s.coups helped you up to where they were.

"hi," you smiled and sat down next to seungcheol and joshua. "the press can't come up here, right?" you asked your boyfriend.

he nodded, "yea, they can't," he answered, "but people in the audience over there can probably get decent shots of us," he mentioned. you nodded, "don't worry, you look cute."

you rolled your eyes, "are you gonna be like this the whole night?"

"what else am i supposed to do? i rather stare at your pretty face than listen to this award show," he said and held your hand. "plus, i gotta show off when the cameras are on us."

"i'm hiding when they appear."

"good luck with that," he replied and kissed your cheek.

and of course, fans got the shot of him kissing you and it went viral overnight.

woozi about "power of love" album

he'd always wanted to do a carol-like song so this song was made even if it didn't seem like it but he tried hard to make it sound like a carol song

wonwoo's narration - before making this song, he watched "wolf children", the movie has a narration by the daughter and it was impressive to him. he thought that by explaning/narrating a bit what this song is about before it starts would be nice

this album was made while covid-19 was happening in internet meetings

he was complimented a lot with darl+ing

with face the sun, they wanted to show who they are

the goal of the album was "they wanted to be the sun"

some people in the company also questioned their theme and they couldn't answer it properly except saying "we really want to be the sun"

they didn't really release repackage albums. only with love & letter and sector 17

why the title is sonogong - there were time where so many bad things happen (2022-ish) and they wanted to overcome it

bc of the bad things that happen, he couldnt even finish singing cirle bc he really just wanted everything to go back the way before

so he wanted to be a hero and for woozi it was sonogong

the hero was sonogong and in FML's lyrics there was a line referencing it

while/after making sonogong, like a miracle everything just went right

as the title says, really grateful to music. "if there is a god of music, i want to say thank you"

woozi doesn't really like talking about music bc it felt like bc he as the creator talks about how the song is made, it would feel like the song is caged(?) on it

it’s dino day !! happy birthday to our favorite maknae ~

you hurried into the station and went to the track where your usual subway train would be at.

"y/n!"

you shifted your eyes and saw your boyfriend a few yards away. you hurried over to him.

"hi," you smiled at him, "here's breakfast," you said and handed him a small sandwich that you had bought when you left your house.

"thanks," he said and unwrapped it. "man, i'm so hungry,” he said before taking a bite.

"you need to go to bed earlier so you have time to eat breakfast," you lightly scolded, "but i guess that's the perk of dating me, you get breakfast."

he smiled, "you make it sound like i date you for free food."

"well, when do you ever pay for breakfast?"

"y/n!"

you laughed in response. then, you started hearing a subway train start to approach and looked at the sign above to see if it was the train that you guys took to get to school.

"come on," you said to him. you held his hand and walked closer to the doors that would open once the subway train had arrived.

"ah shit," dino suddenly cursed, "i forgot to do my japanese homework," he said and handed you his half eaten sandwich so he could dig for his homework in his backpack.

"again?"

"it's not that much. i hope at least," he says and takes a slightly crumpled up packet of paper out of his backpack. "got a pen?" he asked.

the train arrived during the time he got his homework out, and the doors opened.

"i'll give it to you when we sit down," you said to him and both of you got onto the train. you two sat down near the doors of the subway car you were in. "want me to feed you?" you asked him as he started writing, using his math textbook as a flat surface to write on.

"sure," he replied as he wrote.

and so, during the ride to your the station closest to your school, you fed dino while he did his homework.

"okay, done," dino said and looked up, "the next station is the school," he mentioned with a smile. he put his homework away. then, he groaned.

"what?" you asked, changing the song you were playing on your phone.

"i have study group after school," dino answered, "for math."

"oh, so you got rid of me being your tutor?" you said while looking at him, accidentally moving too much to where the earbud he had on was yanked out of his ear. the other half was in your ear but fell out after the the one in dino’s fell.

"well, who else would buy me breakfast?" he replied back.

"i would do both for you, you big doofus," you said, rolling your eyes. "i can't help you anyways, i have rehearsal."

"i'll wait for you then," he said to you.

"babe, you don't have to," you said to him, and the train stopped at your stop. both of you got up from your seats and got off of the subway.

"i don't mind. if it means i get to see you, i'll wait," he said to you.

you smiled at him, "thanks."

he grabbed your hand, "of course."
