"excuse me? i'm looking for a book, but i can't find it.”

you turn around and almost spit your water out of your mouth. then, you end up choking on it for a few seconds. 

"please don't choke on your drink. your death certificate won't appreciate that."

standing at the counter is your boyfriend, vernon. 

you put down your water bottle and walk up to the counter. "what are you doing here?" you ask him. 

he rests his arms on the counter. "i came to see you," he answers while smiling, "but also, i'm looking for a book, and i've never actually checked out a book here before. but i really only came here to see you."

you chuckle, “if i help you find the book, can i get a kiss from you?” you ask. 

"duh, of course."

once vernon tells you the book he is looking for, you search the database on one of the computers behind the front desk. you bring him upstairs to go to the section where the book is located. 

"it should be around here," you speak quietly. "do you have practice later?" you ask him as you look at the different aisle, trying to find the correct one. 

"yea, at four," vernon answers and holds your hand, "your hand's cold," he comments. "what time do you get off?"

"three," you reply. "do you think me and you could go get something to eat?" you ask. 

he nods, "yea. let's do that. i’ll need food before practice."

you find the correct aisle and go down the aisle of bookshelves. “it should be over here,” you mutter and start glancing over the spines of the books. you bump into a step stool and almost trip, but vernon holds you back. “thanks.”

"mhm."

you step up onto the step stool and look over more titles and authors’ last names on the books. then, you spot the book in question and pull it from the shelf. “here it is,” you announce and hand it to him. 

“thanks,” vernon says to you and takes the book. he tucks it in between his arm and his torso. you step off of the step stool. “can i stay with you? or do you have stuff to do?” he asks. 

“i have some things to do, but you can stay at the desk. no one will mind,” you offer. he nods. 

both of you return to the front desk on the first floor, and vernon sits down on a chair that your bag is hanging from. you start doing some desk work before deciding to put some returned books away. 

pushing a cart with the returned books on it, you go to a section of the library and start putting books back on the shelf. while you’re putting books away, you organize some shelves that have become messy from frequent visits. you also find some books that are in the wrong section, so you place them on the cart. 

when you’re almost done, you glance around the open area before doing a once over when you see vernon walking around. you wave your arm in the air, and vernon notices you after a couple of seconds. he walks over to you with the book he had been reading in his hand. 

"what are you doing?" you ask. 

"wanted to see you," he answers with a smile. 

"i would've been back in a second," you reply with a short laugh, trying to stay quiet since there are patrons nearby. 

"i know, but i still wanted to see you," he says. "can i help you?”

you playfully roll your eyes, "come on, lover boy."

the two of you go to a different section on the first floor, and vernon helps you put a couple of books away. it takes him a bit longer to find the correct spots, but he gets it done. 

"these need to go upstairs. want me to put this one back?" you ask him, pointing to the book he read earlier. 

"hang on."

vernon holds the book up, opening it to a random page. he kisses you with no fear since the book is blocking anyone’s view. 

when you part, you laugh and reach up to hold his face before kissing him again. 

"what is this? hidden camera?"

"i thought it'd be cute."

you laugh with a smile, "love you."

"love you."

woozi about "power of love" album

he'd always wanted to do a carol-like song so this song was made even if it didn't seem like it but he tried hard to make it sound like a carol song

wonwoo's narration - before making this song, he watched "wolf children", the movie has a narration by the daughter and it was impressive to him. he thought that by explaning/narrating a bit what this song is about before it starts would be nice

woozi about "face the sun" album

this album was made while covid-19 was happening in internet meetings

he was complimented a lot with darl+ing

with face the sun, they wanted to show who they are

the goal of the album was "they wanted to be the sun"

some people in the company also questioned their theme and they couldn't answer it properly except saying "we really want to be the sun"

ash perf stage - they also want to show it.

hoshi really liked ash that he nearly sent message the CEO if it can't be the title track

woozi about "sector 17" album

they didn't really release repackage albums. only with love & letter and sector 17

woozi about "FML" album

why the title is sonogong - there were time where so many bad things happen (2022-ish) and they wanted to overcome it

bc of the bad things that happen, he couldnt even finish singing cirle bc he really just wanted everything to go back the way before

so he wanted to be a hero and for woozi it was sonogong

the hero was sonogong and in FML's lyrics there was a line referencing it

while/after making sonogong, like a miracle everything just went right

dust - humming part, hoo-woah is like releasing/breathing out the dust not that it didn't really have lyrics

woozi about "god of music" album

as the title says, really grateful to music. "if there is a god of music, i want to say thank you"

yawn - just like apum (pain), hapum, hapum, it was written like that but woozi pronounce the first as hapum, while the second was pronounced as "apum" (pain)

woozi doesn't really like talking about music bc it felt like bc he as the creator talks about how the song is made, it would feel like the song is caged(?) on it

to the members: for believing in me, for following me, thank you. it's an honor to make music for the kids so its okay if its hard for me. the members are my all.

the usage of a domino show the feeling of helplessly and breathlessly falling in love with someone as they have the upper hand but still enjoying the fall because it's already unstoppable and predictable and your feelings are clearly visible anyway so might as well hug and welcome the fall is so sickly intelligent of the lyricists istg

"it's a bit dangerous standing next to you / this natural tension that i like" - the feeling of dangerousness as you put dominoes side by side being likened to standing beside the one you like but still continuing to put them side by side bc the result is intriguing.

"i'm trying to hold on / the one who makes me in a defenseless state" - dominoes standing side by side are all in a defenseless state

"touch me with a tap / and with hoo, i let out my breath / i fall over in an instant / like domino / falling over in order / this feeling no body knows / i fall over in one hit / like domino" - one tap and one exhale is all it takes for the dominoes to fall down, easily, just like falling in love. it only takes one little thing and you're already falling.

"you put me down and pick me up, this feeling in loop / things change with just one tip of your finger / ... stopping now is more difficult for me"
