Wow this the first time I made an request for this blog so feeling kinda nervous, but I hope you like my request.

so how about for seven deadly sins, s/o who the fairy queen and their dating Ten Commandment Melodie’s during the holy war. So this is an AU where gloxinia isn’t the king but gloxinia and gerheade are the the younger sibling to the queen instead.

And for the second request how about dating headcannon for ten commandment melodies who s/o is a witch and a pretty strong one at that. Let’s pretend that witches are the 6th major clan in britannia.

S/o is a strong witch

🐲 The wizards and witches in Belialuin are neutral, even during the Great War they stay out of conflict anf focus on their research. The two most known witches from that place are Merlin, the girl born with Infinity magic, and Meliodas's darling, a witch said to be one of the strongest and most powerful. You may have no Infinity magic but the skills and abilities you possess might just equal it and that's why the Demon King and the Supreme Deity seek Merlin and you out in an attempt to get both of you on their side. Obviously Belialuin rejects their offer since they see Merlin and you as their own property. You belong to their clan after all and they have decided to stay neutral and they do talk very vehemently with you, forbid you to accept either one of those offers. You're slightly annoyed with their little oppression but you don't mind as long as they don't interfere with your freedom and research.

🐲 You've heard of the eldest son of the Demon King since he's feared for his strength and ruthlessness. The leader of the Ten Commandments, Meliodas. You're a witch, you're naturally interested in getting to know other races and studying their magical abilities although you doubt that you'll ever meet someone like him. He's on the battlefield together with so many other interesting races you'll most likely rarely get to see due to the watchful eyes your clan keeps on you since you're together with Merlin one of the strongest. As a more mischievous being you occasionally like to sneak out without anyone of your clan noticing though. They may try to restrict you with spells and their magic as much as they might, in the end you always find a way to break through. You like venturing outside of the territory of your clan to wander around and collect ingredients or just things that catch your attention. What you don't expect is meeting Meliodas himself during one of your walks.

🐲 You're accustomed to sensing things around you easily, feel his presence before you even see him and even if your body pose stays relaxed, you prepare yourself to fire some spells which could knock out even a tough giant with ease. Meliodas notices that though and appears with his arms raised as a sign that he isn't here to attack you. He comgratulates you for even sensing his presence, he was sure that he had hidden it. You are after all the (y/n) (l/n) though so he shouldn't be too surprised. You just feel it, his power oozing out of his body even if he tries to smile although his eyes are still empty. You've heard the description of him from others and combining that with the powerful and dark aura around him, you know that's him. You can't help the slight spark of curiosity as you muster him and his body. So that's Meliodas, the eldest son of the Demon King.

🐲 You ask him what he's doing here since you thought his clan was in a war with the Goddess clan and their allies. The demon just replies casually that he was curious since he has heard a bit about you and your clan from his father and the witches and wizards decided to stay neutral during the war. He asks you then a question too. Shouldn't you be in Belialuin? He's sure that your clan would like to keep someone as mighty as you under constant watch, especially since his clan and the Goddess clan desires for you to join them. You roll your eyes annoyed and tell him that you have no interest to be a bird in a cage. You'll do whatever the hell you want to do and that your clan is just lucky that you have no interest to join a war. You just want to be left alone to quench your curiosity and continue your experiments. You sense that he's amused by your answer.

🐲 You expect to never see him again after the first encounter and whilst it was quite a pleasant surprise to meet the leader of the Ten Commandments, you pay it not too much mind. But Meliodas returns soon after again to you, to your slight surprise. You're not as hostile as the first time since you know that he isn't here on his father's demand. When you question him why he has sought you out again he replies that he spends most of his time on the battlefield and needs a little break from time to time. The discussion you two had the last time is one of the nicest experiences he's had in a longer while and since he knows that you often venture outside, he's decided to come back again. Yes, he knows that your clan would grow paranoid if they would find out that you've met the demon prince and would try to imprison you to keep you for themselves but he knows you would never let them find out. Because your freedom means everything to you, you would never let them know that you two are meeting each other like this.

🐲 You let him do as he wishes since he isn't interfering you or stops you from anything, most of the time he just walks behind you and chitchats with you. You indulge him in his discussions since it's been a while that you have been able to talk to someone so carefree as you do with him. At times he helps you with your research and collects some things for you for which you're grateful. You aren't ashamed to admit that you enjoy the demon's presence and don't feel guilty for meeting him in secret like this. Your whole clan is way too overbearing since they want to keep you and make sure that you don't fall into the hands of the demons or goddesses, Meliodas isn't like this. You favor him since he helps you with your experiments and researches and at one point he even brings you things you can't find in your territory and the places you venture outside of your territory.

🐲 He's always waiting for you outside, stalks the passages you know you'll take to leave the city and it's nearest surroundings to enjoy a fresh and not restricted breath of air. His feelings seem to grow for you each and every day but Meliodas finds himself somewhat thrilled with the notion of it all. His entire life has mainly consisted out of violence and heading the commands from his father and his clan. But you and the time he spends with you are experiences and memories which belong entirely to himself and he knows that you feel suffocated by your own clan too. They chain you down for their own paranoid and egotistic desire since you're a wonder child born into their clan just like little Merlin is. He wants to free you only to keep you close to his own chest after that since you elicit emotions inside of him he has never experienced before. You're pure joy which brings his heart to flutter inside of his chest and causes his whole body to tingle with pleasant goosebumps and the feeling of emptiness when he doesn't see you becomes insufferable for the demon.

🐲 He's aware of the fact that you like him simply because you have never bothered to hide it that greatly. Your interest in him has always been obvious even if it was back then more for research purposes. But now you've taken a liking to him as a person and it couldn't please Meliodas more. You are aware of his romantic feelings too and you do like to tease and flirt with him out of curiosity. There's strong romantic tension between you two but you enjoy for now more the little thrill of it instead of dedicating yourself seriously to it. You love teasing him a bit and getting reactions out of him, enjoy getting on his more possessive side since it makes you feel all giddy on the inside. You know your clan would never allow it but you don't care, focused on your own pleasure and fun. Meliodas is touchy and so are you even if it's partially also because you are interested how the body of a demon works and for that examine his body at times. He allows it eagerly, loves it when your hands are all over his body and analyze him.

🐲 There is the time where he slowly loses patience though. He does love the game you two have going on but he wants to get to the more serious part with you now. So the next time you two meet, he finally asks you the question. Meliodas is more relaxed despite his possessive side since he knows that he doesn't have to worry about you being concerned about what your clan thinks. You don't feel a too strong connection to them anyways. You blink at him a few times before you start giving it some serious thought. You've expected him to ask you this sooner or later, knew that eventually you would have to make this decision. It's true that you don't care exactly too much about what your clan might think since they always try to restrict you too much and it's true that you do love Meliodas. So why shouldn't you? Instead of answering you give him a quick and teasing kiss on his lips, giggle a bit when you see his slightly surprised look that morphs into a pout. You're such a tease.

🐲 The relationship is going quite smoothly because even if both of you keep your love a secret, both of you are smart enough to know how to fool your clans. Meliodas has grown significantly more clingy and touchy with you after you've accepted his confession and you don't really mind, tease him even a bit for it. It becomes quickly obvious though that the secret meetings aren't enough for Meliodas though since he longs constantly for you. There is this constant feeling of irritation itching in his chest when he doesn't have you with him and only you can mend his growing aggression. He is open enough to tell you about his desire and then makes you an offer. Why not come with him? He knows that you don't harbor too much attachment to your clan and surely you could betray them if you really wanted too. He'd also betray his own clan if it would mean that he can be forever with you. He'd do it in a heartbeat if you would promise him to come with him.

🐲 You wonder if you would still be able to continue your research if you would leave since you've put years of work and effort into it and Meliodas chuckles slightly about the fact that you're more worried about your studies and work than the clan. You know it's dangerous since your clan would label you as a traitor and come for you just as much as Meliodas's clan would label him as a traitor and come after him although you do share his desire to always be with him. Your time to make a decision is cut short when Merlin goes against the decision of Belialuin and meets the Supreme Deity and the Demon King and outwits both of them. Infuriated they attack your clan for it and it is only thanks to Meliodas rushing with fear in his heart to you that you only suffer minor injuries. When he gets to know that his father and the Supreme Deity both plan to punish your city for Merlin's actions, he feels cold fear engulfing his entire being and he bolts to you. He doesn't care that he infiltrates the city of the witches, all he cares about is you.

🐲 You find yourself surprisingly a little bit sad when you find out that only Merlin and you have survived the attack. You didn't like your clan that much but didn't hate them enough to ever want to curse such a fate upon them. Meliodas on the other hand is enraged with his own father since he nearly killed you too but obviously the Demon King doesn't care about that. In his eyes you're trivial. Your lover becomes somewhat suffocant the following days, ditches his clan to stay with you and make sure that you recover from the slight injuries you sustained in the process. He doesn't want to return to his clan anymore, not after the number his father pulled. No, now he is convinced that the both of you should flee together. Your clan is gone anyways, you have nowhere to return. He's sure the two of you will manage somehow.

Signs of Holy War: Meliodas vs Ban

So, hello everybody. Just here to talk about what is probably my favorite scene in Seven Deadly Sins, period. Now, I realize that there's debate on whether or not Signs of Holy War is canon or not. But, since Nakaba–whether because he always intended or whether he's just doing cause why the heck not?–has added things from the Signs of Holy War, like Vivian's cursed ring, into the actual manga, I'm going to count it. There's also the fact that the Goddess Horn hasn't been brought back up in the manga and it hasn't been disproven that Mel destroyed it, but that's beside the point.

So, this of course is from Episode 2: Our Fighting Festival. This episode covers the fight between Meliodas and Ban after the fight with Hendrickson. It also serves to resolve the differences between the two after Ban figures out Meliodas is a Demon and tries to kill him to fulfill the wish of the Goddess inside the Horn of Cernunnos. After stopping Ban from killing him, Meliodas orders the Fox's Sin to "do his duty as the Fox's Sin of Greed" and promises that they would finish it after they rescued Elizabeth and finished off Hendrickson. This is that fight.

The previous episode ended with Meliodas informing Ban that he hasn't forgotten their agreement and tells him to meet him on top of a mountain to fight it out. Of course, Hawk hears this and since he was there during Ban's previous attempt to kill Meliodas, is understandably concerned. So what does he do? He invites the Sins, a few of our favorite Holy Knights, and a few civilians to watch the fight.

Ban is understandably none too happy about this, as this was supposed to be a private fight to solve the rift between him and his best friend. Meliodas doesn't seem to care one way or another. But after a warning from the other Sins not to take things too far and a Perfect Cube from Merlin, the fight is underway.

It begins with a "simple" exchange of blows to warm the two Sins up. I use quotations around that because even though Gowther notices that both Sins are using only a 13% of their strength, most of the spectators couldn't even see them move and even the Holy Knights were amazed at their power. At least, until King and Diane chip in. King demands to know why they're "just playing around". Diane adds that if they really wanted to settle things, they needed to go at it full power. This, of course, shocks the crowd with just how much power these two hold, but not as much as what happens next.

Meliodas begins stretching, saying how if he doesn't warm up properly, he might hurt himself. Then, the scene above happens. Meliodas drops his happy-go-lucky attitude for a moment and tells the entire crowd of fellow Sins, Holy Knights, and civilians that if they wanted to "b****" about Ban's and his fight, he'd kick all their asses. Or, as he says it in the dub: "This fight is just between Ban and me, got it? If you make too much of a ruckus and distract us, I'm gonna knock all of you into next week!"

Okay, that was the overview, now my reason for loving this scene so much. This is one of the very few times we see Meliodas truly, visibly angry. From my memory, we have seen Meliodas visibly angry six times: 1) when Ban tried to take the Dragon's Hilt, 2) Elizabeth was taken, 3) Meliodas attacks "Zeldris" at Corand, 4) Meliodas vs Escanor, 5) Meliodas blows up the Horn for running her mouth too much, and 6) this scene right here. 1-3 & 5 have to do with Elizabeth (the hilt keeps the DC sealed away) and 4 was just when AM Mel realized he was getting beat by a "lowly human". But this scene is different.

Meliodas isn't angry because Elizabeth has been hurt or because a friend of his is trying to take away something he deems important because of her or because his pride is hurt by being bested by a human. He's angry because some idiots who have no idea of what's going on are interrupting something important. Ban is Meliodas's best friend, who just tried to literally kill him to bring back the woman he loves because a Goddess told Ban that she'd do it if he killed Meliodas. And Meliodas understands. If he had the chance to save Elizabeth from the curse in a similar way, he'd do it. He understands Ban's desperation to see Elaine again and be able to hold her and take her on that adventure he promised.

And the way he allows Ban to beat the ever-loving crap out of him, even though he could kick Ban's butt if he really wanted to. He doesn't blame Ban for what happened, but Ban still doesn't know what to think about Meliodas being a Demon like what killed Elaine and whether or not he should kill him to bring Elaine back. Meliodas didn't need this fight. He didn't have any anger or doubt to take out on Ban. Ban needed to get himself situated with how he felt about Meliodas being a Demon and how he might've been able to bring Elaine back if he had killed Meliodas. This fight was 100% for Ban. Meliodas knows he needs it, knows he doesn't need any commentary from the peanut gallery, and he gives it to him. He agrees to fight him and tells off the Sins and everyone else for interrupting them. It's a beautiful moment of their friendship, even when it's massively strained on Ban's side.

Also there's just the fact that Meliodas getting angry is just awesome at any point, since he is the Sin of Wrath, but we hardly ever see him angry.

If college life was one thing, it was difficult. That was one thing that Luca had already figured out a long time ago. It was an unending loophole of stress, with the other loophole that was funding a study. It had been a year but he was doing it. At least that’s what he thought. Of course one would, in the midst of all the struggles, lessons, classes and the ungodly mound of homework that he received, meet new people. Which was one of those nice struggles in the life of someone who had just started college. But it went more organically then he had expected and after one or two weeks of classes he had met a nice handful of people that he liked.

That was at least until the second year of college rolled around and things changed pretty drastically. Most of his friends now had switched due to lacking interest in the studies they followed. Some of them had quit fully. There were now barely any people to hang around with and it was actually kind of getting on his nerves. But on the other hand, he enjoyed it. It was a struggle between wanting to be alone and wanting to have people around. Just adding it to the list of struggles he already had. But things could just change as easily as they rolled around, couldn’t they? Of course, they could. Surprises hid in the smallest corners. One day on his lonely stroll through the silent paths of his college grounds he bumped into a girl, who dropped all her shit thanks to the impact. Both parties dropped down on the ground and ironically their first worry wasn’t if they had hurt one another, it was if the precious laptop in their bags was okay and wouldn’t be harmed. But that faded quick enough when they realized what had happened. The girl was the first to get up, leaving her bag on the ground and extending a hand to the male. Luca hesitantly took it. “are you okay?” she questioned quietly “I’m sorry, I should have totally looked where I was going…” she looked so apologetic. It almost confused Luca if it wasn’t for the fact that if he was in her shoes, he’d act the same. He shook his head lightly and shrugged “its fine really” he mumbled “if you want I could make it up with a coffee? They have great stuff at a little shop nearby…” she muttered. He could almost smell the hesitation in her words. Was she showing pity? Did she think he was funny and did she need a good laugh? He just stood there for a bit and tilted his head before she spoke up “you seem so up in space… did you hit your head? If so you should rest… I know it’s weird that I asked you along isn’t it?” her nervous laughter made him feel guilty and he shook his head “no, not at all. Its fine, I can use some coffee I feel soo sleepy…” he sighed. Her eyes twinkled, and she nodded happily “I get your feeling, I get so sleepy from classes as well! It drags on and on” she sighed “my name is Destiny, it’s a pleasure to meet you” she purred excitedly. Luca studied her once more. She had long blonde hair and green eyes. Nothing too weird. He nodded at her “I’m Luca” As the two walked towards the little coffee shop, Luca couldn’t help but feel a bit weird. He had just met this excited girl that he was now chatting with but somehow, he couldn’t feel any harm from it. It didn’t take too long before his nerves were calmer then before. But he had to admit, this situation was one you would see in shitty animes. When they finally sat down on a bench with a hot cup of coffee he finally got the guts to ask, “why did you even invite me along?” his reply? A mere shrug. “I was on my way to get some coffee when I bumped into you and my boyfriend taught me… the more the merrier.” She hummed as she sipped the hot liquid “and meeting new people is a scary thing... but you seem like a chill dude, so I wanted to grab my chance” she smiled. Luca felt his cheeks heat up a bit before he looked aside. After a few moments of silence, he looked up. He noticed that the silence was in no way tense or forced, it was calm and serene, and it put him at ease. The silence was broken by a ringtone coming from the phone of his company. She startled and put her coffee down “I think I need to take this” she hummed and got up and answered the phone. She walked off a few steps leaving the sweet coffee behind. It being the heart of summer this kind of attracted a lot of unwanted guests. At least Luca considered them unwanted, and he thought that most people would agree with him. Two flies kept buzzing around the cup and would perch down on it. Making him swat at them so they left the drink alone. After all, even if he had just met Destiny, he felt bad knowing these bugs would dirty her drink. When she returned she swatted at the flies as well and sighed “these things are so annoying aren’t they? I really dislike the summer for all these bugs” she almost took the words from his mouth and for once he was grateful that he wasn’t the only one with this view. But sadly, the bugs were now bugging him. Which did bring some irritation to his side. He kept swatting at them and when they finally left him alone, or so he thought, he enjoyed his coffee again. “oh, my boyfriend is coming over in a bit. He’s a very chill guy and he brings his even chiller friend so if you don’t want that I’ll go to them right now” Destiny spoke so suddenly he nearly chocked on his drink. But he was pleasantly surprised that she was so easy about it. He shrugged “I don’t care really. Maybe meeting new people isn’t so bad, once in a while” he shrugged. Destiny laughed, and they indeed weren’t alone for long. At least Luca wasn’t. One of the flies was determined and was eager to have a taste of his coffee. When Luca was busy slapping the fly away, the boyfriend of destiny approached them. One of them being way taller than the other and the other being just about the same height as destiny. The small one nearly tackled the girl on the bench and Luca briefly looked over to see the small male smooch the blonde girls face as she squealed. From the corner of his eye Luca could see a black spot and now he was fed up with the fucking fly. He brought his hand back to the spot harshly, but he didn’t feel the soft thud of a fly, or wasp… or bee… oh no… what he hit was something hard… but also soft… it was the face of the tall friend of Destiny. The four grew silent. Before the smaller male burst into laughter “ahahah! Ban that looks really good on your face! That’s a nice red spot!” he held his stomach in laughter. Destiny sat up and blinked “hey Meliodas that isn’t really nice of you” she grumbled “are you okay Ban?”. Luca’s head slowly turned to look at the face of the large man his friends had called Ban. There was indeed a red handprint on his face. Not only that slowly there was a small line of blood running down his nose. Ban raised his eyebrow at his friend’s laughter and shook his head “I can’t believe that just happened” he muttered to himself before looking at Luca. Luca’s face had slowly turned red and by now he felt like his ears would burn off of his head. “oh my god…... I’m sorry” he nearly squeaked out. His voice almost sounding higher than that of Destiny. Meliodas was still laughing as Ban rubbed the blood away from his nose before he too chuckled “nah no biggie. Meliodas does worse” he grinned. Luca’s blush worsened. But now he wasn’t sure if it was due to embarrassment or the fact that he felt strangely attracted to this tall stranger.

Soon these peaceful, ordinary days will end. This is a series of four OVA’s showcasing the Seven Deadly Sins, Elizabeth, and Hawk going about their everyday lives and participating in hijinks. Author’s note: This is my first post here, and i don’t think I will post much because i don’t have the imagination to make it a hobby, but my asks will be open if someone wants to send me a request or something. Just keep in mind I will mostly do it slowly! Headcanons or scenarios are valid!

Arthur is one of my biggest husbandos but he doesn’t get the same attention as the rest of the characters, so I just felt the necessity of publishing this one shot I imagined, hoping that my fellow Arthur stans like it! English isn’t my first language so I’m sorry if there are some errors. Feedback would be great!

Life isn't easy when your castle, and practically the whole city, is being occupied by the demon clan. The Camelot population was forced to live in an underground bunker while the Holy War happens in Britannia, and as their King, Arthur dedicates his time in doing surveillance rounds, accompanied by Cath, Nanashi, and some of his knights.

He always had incredible abilities in combat, specially with swords, thanks to Merlin's training. However, when this situacion started he couldn't do much except to ask his comrades for help so the number of demons around the city wouldn't ascend. I'm saying at first, because thanks to the passing of time and Nanashi's experience, now he can take out a good bunch of demons all by himself without breaking a sweat.

Or at least the majority of times.

Because of his impulssive nature, acheing for adventures and new challenges, the young King ended up today more bruised than expected.

"King Arthur, you're back!" - Announced one of the villagers  who were standing next to the doors which led to one of the main rooms in the underground city. More villagers gathered around the doors until they were completely opened - "Did you have any problems? It's been a while since we saw you looking like that"

Arthur's clothes were dirtier than usual, with some tears here and there. You could even see some small bruises in his face, but nothing big enough to worry at first sight.

"Don't worry! I may have been a little bit careless, but I'm fine, and I also could defeat some dozens of demons as usual!" - Replied the young King with his cheerful and enthusiastic self, puffing up his chest in a prideful way. At least until a sudden pain made him stop and cough while taking his hand to his chest, leaving the people watching him concerned

"I will go get some of the leftovers from lunch, please don't overwork yourself" - Said one of the women while she returned to the dining room along some more.

"You should get checked by (Y/N), just to be sure that you don't have mayor injuries".

Arthur couldn't help being nervous when he heard (Y/N)'s name. He was a carefree and adventurous boy, working on his strengh since he got separated from the seven deadly sins to protect his people; but he still had weaknesses, and (Y/N) was one of them.

How could he not fall in love with her? She was sweet, helpful and loved by the town. He had visited her more than once and her voice alone made him feel butterflies. With the passing of time it became more difficult to see her, He could barely hide his feelings and that embarrased him even more.

"I insist, it is nothing! I'm sure the pain will fade away the moment I rest-" - His excuses were interrumpted by Nanashi, who got closer to check him with a look

"It wouldn't hurt you doing a little check up. Besides, it's not only for your wellness, it's also for Camelot's people since they want to see you healthy. You are their protector after all"

Arthur couldn't do much besides nodding while scratching his head and look at the ground; knowing well that it wouldnt matter whatever he had to say, because they would keep insisting until they were sure that their King was in full condition

"Well, if that majes you happy, I'll go right now..." - He looked up as the villagers started to nod and continued with their chores. Once the crowd dissipated he walked to the nearest table so he could put down the basket where Cath was, and then he set course to (Y/N)'s room. In front of it, the King took a deep breath to gather the courage and knocked on the door

“Come in!” – A cheerful voice spoke from inside. (Y/N) kept looking to the door from her seat across the room, until Arthur appeared – “Your Majesty! It’s been a while since the last time you came here, did something go wrong?” – She stood up and bowed to greet him.

Arthur closed the door behind him, smiling gently at her – “I told you to call me Arthur, we know each other well. And, I just got slightly hit while patrolling, but they forced me to visit you” – He ended with a nervous smile – “I didn’t mean to bother you!”

(Y/N) listened carefully and made a gesture with her hand, inviting him to take a seat on the bed so she could observe him well.

“You don’t bother, it’s my work to make sure nobody is ill or hurt after all” – Arthur took off his sword so he could sit comfortably, waiting until (Y/N) got closer to his face – “Hmm, just some bruises and cuts, as usual, they will heal fast” – (Y/N) looked into his eyes, smiling relieved, making it imposible for Arthur to hide the sudden blush on his face. Once done, she stepped back.

“I already told them that it was nothing to worry about, but it’s nice to confirm it”

“However, your clothes show signs of combat. Are you sure it doesn’t hurt in any other place?”

“I’ve only felt a sudden pain in my chest” – He said while pointing at himself, right where he felt it – “But I don’t think it’s really important”.

“I see… I can’t allow myself to let you go without being completely sure you are alright, so please, take off your shirt so I can auscultate you” – And with that said, (Y/N) turned around so she could get her stethoscope.

Arthur followed her words and left his clothes to the side embarrased, preparing himself for (Y/N)’s next move. What he didn’t know was that (Y/N) was doing the exact same thing, and she was thankful of having turned her back on Arthur so he couldn’t see her face. After all, she couldn’t deny she had a little crush on the young King.

Once prepared, (Y/N) turned around and went back to sit next to Arthur, looking at his chest.

“You do have a bruise where you pointed some seconds ago” – She adjusted the stethoscope in her ears, pressing the metalic end on Arthur’s back, causing him to shiver at the sudden cold – “Take a deep breath please”

While (Y/N) listened carefully pressing on his back, Arthur looked to the wall in front of him. His only mission right now was avoinding getting nervous again, but (Y/N)’s closeness and the intrusive thoughts which claimed that (Y/N) had indeed noticed his blush a few minutes ago made it difficult for him. The more he tried to avoid those thoughts, the more he realized he was in love with her. Just a few seconds later he felt the metal on his chest, fearing the worst.

His fast heartbeat didn’t go unnoticed. (Y/N) frowned a little. Could it be because he just came back of fighting? Maybe, but his calm behaviour said otherwise.

Worried, (Y/N) stayed a few more seconds listening to his heart, to make sure her ears weren’t fooling her, until she got up, pulled away and took off her stethoscope – “Your lungs are alright, but there’s something worrying me, your heart is beating faster than it should… that could mean you have an internal wound…”

Yup, she got him. At least she didn’t think about the reason being him crushing on her. Besides, (Y/N) supossed that being Arthur a King, there wasn’t any hope for her, so she simply thought that there was an unknown problem with him.

“Like I said, they’re just some bruises” – Arthur took his clothes and dressed quickly, getting up and looking at (Y/N) – “Thanks to you I even feel better! I’ll go right now to inform the people there is nothing to worry about” – He walked to the door and before he could open it (Y/N)’s voice made him stop and turn around slightly

“Even so, come back in a while! I want to be sure it really isn’t anything dangerous”

Arthur could feel her concern in her words, adding fuel to his feelings

“Later? Even if I feel alright?” – (Y/N) nodded, laughing at Arthur’s stubborness.

“Even if you feel alright. And if you don’t come back, I will search for you”

Arthur sighed softly with a smile- “In that case I will be back in some hours so you don’t have to worry more than necessary, and you will see that I’m as well as always!” – Laughing he opened the door and said goodbye until he was out of the room.

Another blush appeared again in his cheeks thinking about what he agreed to do. Coming back? Knowing him, he will be caught again, and he can’t make excuses forever. He better learn to relax himself or he would end up having to confess his feelings without being prepared.

In her room, (Y/N) sat again on her chair  leaning on the table with a goofy grin, wishing that those heartbeats where for her; and without knowing (at least for now) that indeed, it was like that.

Yeah, requests are open, I`m just a slow updater with low motivation. Either way, I`m happy the yandere potential of the Seven Deadly Sins characters is getting more attention, I was surprised how there aren`t many fanfics out there. I had fun writing this.

Yandere Mael/Estarossa Headcannons

Mael is clingy, protective and slightly possessive while Estarossa is so much more unhinged and delusional.

Mael was very lonely when he was younger, so he properly fell for you when you showed him kindness and befriended him, kinda like Elizabeth did.

Because of his loneliness he grew clingy, wanting to spend most of the time alone with you. He saw you as his sunshine, someone he could fully trust and who he didn`t want to disappoint. As such he would start to train more, showing of his skills more often than not.

Mael was always very powerful, so he didn`t really see a problem with bringing you along to the battlefield. If something happened he could just protect you, actually he hoped it would so that you would admire him and rely on him more. His view of demons was very warped back in the Holy War, so he probably wouldn`t understand if you found his way of merciless killing gruesome. If you establish that you don`t like how he fights, he`ll be hurt but he would only stop to bring you with him. To him, the demons they are at war with want to separate the two of you, which is an unforgivable sin even if the demons couldn`t care less about you. Also he will see your reaction as you being the only innocent one and that he`s the only one who can protect you. God have mercy on whoever hurts you because Mael surely won`t.

He is quite affectionate and loves hugging you from behind with his wings, it feeds into his delusion of protecting you. Mael would melt whenever you showed him any kind of affection, especially if you pet his hair (which I headcanon to be super soft).

His possessive nature causes him to seclude you from the others through guilt tripping, going on and on about how you`re the only one who truly cares about him and what do you mean, you wanted to spend time with someone else? He spend so much time on preparing whatever he wanted to do with you that day!

Now, at some point Maels memory will be manipulated and he will become Estarossa. That doesn`t mean he`ll forget about you, though. His memory of you being kind will only change in one way: his role. It doesn`t matter if you are a god/goddess, a giant or a fairy, or if you were already dating or not, from his point of view you two were lovers separated by the Holy War. He doesn`t even question how you got to know each other, all that matters is that you two are in love and that he has to find a way to get you somehow without you being put in harms way.

As Estarossa all of his yandere traits will worsen and he`ll be even more ready to kill whoever gets in his way. Before he couldn`t imagine scaring or even hurting you but that changed. While he is delusional and would never believe that he frightens you, he will now put you in harms way if it ensures that at the end of the day he has you alive in his arms.

I doubt he has the time to meet you as Estarossa before all demons get sealed off but rest assured knowing that he has spent 3000 years waiting to get to you.

I`m just gonna say that you lived those 3000 years somewhere quiet, mostly unbothered by what`s happening around you or helping the Sins along the way. Either way, when the seal is broken you`re somewhere far away from bigger civilisations. (Simply because it`s easier for me to write).

You can feel that the seal is broken and feel scared. After all to your knowledge Estarossa killed Mael, the most powerful person you ever knew, Mael had always shown you how powerful he was and proven it multiple times. Even if Mael annoyed you sometimes with how clingy he was, you probably still cared for him a lot so you do have a grudge against the demon.

The first thing Estarossa does is searching for your presence and upon coming up empty handed, he`ll feel extremely disappointed and frustrated. His delusional self won`t even consider that you died in those years he was locked away and everyone around him is glad about it. They`re scared that he`d take his anger and sadness out on them so they help the fellow demon with his search hoping to somehow make Estarossa calmer with you by his side.

After each search failed, the commandment will take this as a sign that you want him to win the war so you can live together, that you`re simply waiting for him and putting your trust into him. Nothing anyone can say or do will change this belief of his and he`ll do everything to get to this goal.

He will fail, because at the point of the plot where he would have kidnapped Elizabeth he will pick up on your energy, it`s clear that you`re trying to hide it but Estarossa knows it`s yours nonetheless. You probably had to flee somewhere were he would without your knowledge notice, seeing as demons are swarming the land and you don`t know he is searching for you.

When he finds you Estarossa will rush to you without warning and hug you, scaring the shit out of poor you. You will probably notice that he seems familiar in the way he moves and talks, especially when he mentions how much he missed you. Connecting the dots to who he really is will also make everyone else remember, the demon himself included which will make him extremely unhinged and desperate, not really knowing what to do but wanting to win this war. Because in the end, he still wants to live with you, be it as Mael or as Estarossa.

This will ensure chaos, Estarossa`s and Mael`s power mixing while he is having a crisis on whose side he should be, finally deciding that he should leave the decision to you. From that point on it`s really up to you, just don`t tell him that he should leave you alone. He`s really unhinged right now and wants to put his trust into you, the only person he thinks he can rely on.

My predictions on BSD getting animated going forward

I’ll be taking a look at the novel page counts (Japanese and English) and comparing them to the screen time they’ve gotten so far and then using this to predict how long the remaining light novel adaptations will be (approximately). At the end will also be my rough prediction/hopes for the order of some of these being adapted. I say some because I have yet to read what there is so far of the gaiden novel translations, the main story manga has essentially still been on the DOA arc almost since where the anime left off, and I personally think that it’s currently too soon for Storm Bringer (aside from money purposes).

Note, most of this was written well before the anime 5th anniversary livestream but the announcements wound up not affecting it. I then of course made adjustments as needed account for the novel content we do have so far, both in Japanese and in English (officially).

Page to Episode Count

Not counting the afterward, ads, etc for the English/US copy, Japanese is including it

*148 is purely counting the Untold Origins portion of the novel. If we also count the A Day at the Agency short story that’s included before it (56 pages), then we get the full 203

Also the English page count for BEAST was noted before the English release date but after page counts have been posted by affiliated retailers, so subtract a couple pages from the written count of 176 for the time being to account for the afterward and possible character sheets being included

Now that we have our page to episode counts (as of April 5th, 2021), let’s find the actual content run time of what we do have animated so far.

Seasons 1-3 and the OVA all have the same episode length/duration. Each episode is 23 minutes, and we can subtract 3 minutes on average from that to account for the OP and ED being played. This leaves us with an average of 20 minutes of BSD story content per episode. So on average, each of the first 3 seasons contain 240 minutes, or 4 hours, worth of story content.

Dead Apple’s total run time is 91 minutes, with the OP and ED making up 9 of those minutes. However, we do have a bit of the story content being played while the ED is playing (as sometimes happens in the anime as well). To keep the math simple, I’ll be approximating story content time at 82 minutes.

Apply these numbers to the novels that have been animated so far and this is (approximately) what we get:

Now let’s use these numbers to predict the screen time needed for the other novels

Note that we can’t really use Entrance Exam as a fair measure because of how much got cut out (just compare the run time of it to Dark Era and it speaks for itself). However, the numbers for Dark Era and Dead Apple are the best ones to use, as they both have minimal changes between anime and novel and both have official English translations currently available. Take out the approximate time taken up by OP/ED and and the numbers pretty much match up.

So with that being said, we can estimate Untold Origins (only) at approximately 3 eps/60 min and 55 Minutes at 1h 40-55min/100-115 min or 5-6 eps if it doesn’t get a movie. We can also estimate the A Day at the Detective Agency short story at the beginning of Untold Origins to take up about 1 ep, probably even a bit less.

1+ 3 + 5-6 = 9-10 episodes which isn’t enough for a full single cour season unless they all get put into one big OVA season, but also 10-11 eps (or less) seasons are a thing (ie. Fugou Keiji: Balance Unlimited, Blood Lad, Black Butler: Book of Circus, The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of a Holy War, FLCL)

My personal predictions/hopes for the anime adaptation timeline going forward

This is considering the manga content, current “pausing/stopping points” what wouldn’t be too awkward, each of the novels relevancy/necessity to the main story manga, and assuming we continue with single cour (12-13 ep) seasons

Hopefully/ideally a 55 Minutes movie

S4: ch 54-70

Early S5 (preferably) or end of S4: Untold Origins or A Day at the Agency

S5: ch 71-88/around where we are now?

A Day at the Agency can, in my opinion at least, be chucked in at any point either as a single episode OVA or as the light novel content for s4 (maybe not even taking a full episode and then starting ch 54 in the last few minutes for example). Keep in mind that the current DOA arc is a long one and has plenty to it, so personally I think it may even be better to not include a novel adaptation in a future S4, as it would likely already be a right squeeze content wise. Remember, we also have a few XX.5 chapters that are continuations of the chapter directly before them.

I still need to read what’s currently available of the gaiden novel fan translations but it can probably be adapted at any point as well. I’m estimating approximately 5-6 eps as an OVA series. I don’t really think it would get a movie, partially because you can make it only so long, especially since it’s an anime movie and unlike Storm Bringer, it doesn’t have Chuuya to practically guarantee the profit.

BEAST also doesn’t directly impact the main story and can be adapted at virtually any point. However, seeing as we do have a live action confirmed for it and it’s page count lines up very closely with Dark Era, it can be either 4 eps or (more likely in my opinion) a movie, as it can be considered almost stand alone content.

Personally, I believe it is currently way too soon to animate Storm Bringer as it came out only a little over a month ago (as of writing this) and has minimal plot necessity as of ch 91, but I do believe it should be either split into 2 movies (a part 1 and part 2) or it would need 8 episodes, likely as an OVA season. If it were to get animated sooner than 55 Minutes or Untold Origins, which I believe to be very unlikely, I feel that it would almost certainly be driven by the financial gains of Chuuya being included, and his popularity alone. Reminder, SB is about Chuuya and not SKK. Dazai’s appearance in SB is proportionally a very small percentage and he’s not even mentioned in the official plot summary.

However, you can argue that SB is starting to have some relevance now, with the recent mention of the Order of the Clock Tower in ch 90 and the increased relevance of sealed ability weapons in ch 91. However, I really do believe that you can’t adapt Storm Bringer before 55 Minutes because of Standard Island and its treaty, it also talks about sealed ability weapons, knowing who Wells is, and 55 Minutes canonically takes place during the “downtime” portion of S3. In fact, here’s Asagiri’s words directly from the Afterward (translation by Yen Press):

“this volume didn’t take place in the past, but rather sometime after the tenth volume of the manga. In other words, it’s a tale about the ‘usual’ detective agency in novel format.” (55 minutes, p 237)

Untold Origins also should be adapted sooner rather than later (at least compared to SB in my opinion) because it’s about Ranpo and Fukuzawa’s shared past, which becomes increasingly relevant ch 70 onwards, as well as the need for the ADA being founded (which ties in with Yosano’s backstory in ch 65-66).

In regards to whether I think each of these would be better suited to a movie adaptation or as multiple regular length anime episodes, it’s mainly due to page count and partly due to the budget difference between the two, as well as how difficult I think it would be to animate each of these based on what needs to be drawn. The anime industry isn’t the fastest to switch to newer technology, hence why we see issues with 3D blending sometimes. I really do think that at the very least, 55 Minutes deserves the movie budget because of how detailed and complex the architecture of Standard Island is described as, as well all the mechanical parts needed for the final battle of the novel. Hate the lizard mouths introduced in Dead Apple all you want, but you can’t deny that the 3D cgi was blended very smoothly. For any of the other novels to be movies, it’s more so because gaiden and BEAST can be considered their own stand alone stories that don’t rely too heavily on the main story in terms of when they take place and get adapted. I feel that SB is more likely to get its own season or an OVA season more so due to its length, but multiple part anime movies have also been done before (ie. the Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel movies), so it’s not entirely impossible. Especially considering that merely having any Chuuya screen time means that you can expect the profit and popularity to really go up, especially with SKK being on screen together (regardless of whether you love or hate how the fandom tends to push a shipping POV on them).

These are all of course just my hopes and predictions and estimates based on information currently available, so take them with some salt. I’d love to hear opinions on how, when, and why each of the currently non animated novels should be adapted going forward. Also please stop begging the relevant BSD official Twitter pages for SB to be animated next and go read the other light novels you Chuuya simp
