I'm already at 20+ hours pfffff #And as a result I simply must draw the characters of the humble game I cherish so much hehe #This has also filled my mind with bees of various headcanons I've just made or I've had for a awhile but never shared #Major one I've had: Quirrel has deform lower arms; he was simply born with them and they don't do harm to his person #They can get in the way and get cut easily; so they're often bandaged for safety #+ Quirrel needs a cane/leg braces to help him walk because of serve leg damage caused by his overexertion while wearing Monomon's mask #In summary; the mask made is so his mind ignored the pain rather than actually get rid of it #Resulting in Quirrel never getting the *true* rest he needed for certain expeditions #He knew that risk and warning before but he forget later after his journey away from Hallownest #And for funnies: Bretta is a hypocephalus armatus!! Finding refs of them was quite the challenge so I hope I got the overall feel down #They have funky little back legs I don't think I quite captured here but the effort was fun!#I have way more for the other characters here but for now I shall have my mouth sealed until asked

was at a party a couple days ago and i had cause to open up my bag o'holding (small bag inside of my regular bag where i keep all my shenanigans, band aids + whistle + sewing kit + fishing line + swiss army knife etc), and the girl next to me peered over, saw the contents and piped up "oh, so you're a wizard"

#i realise this sounds like a fake tumblr story but it was real and i was SO flattered #the reason for the Bag O'Holding is i bought a mini survival kit ages ago and just got in the habit of carrying it around with me #and over the years various things were added to it until it became a sort of dnd inventory #this year i will buy a set of lock picks and learn how to use them and then my arsenal will be complete >:)#be shh now

Lol #And finally trying on clothes in their house! Papyrus is getting weird vibes off this shirt with how it ties in the back and hangs loosely #I'm pretty sure? I've been drawing him with his scar but it can hard to tell even looking at it myself lol #I'm not exactly careful with the delineation of his neck bones so the line can get lost #Needs a shirt that will compliment a scarf or a cape for sure

I simply think this fandom doesn't give Wei Wuxian enough credit for the various ways in which he saved Lan Wangji

#mdzs #mo dao zu shi #wangxian #idk man- i just see a lot of “Lan Wangji has always been protecting Wei Wuxian” posts and its like...#I mean... Lan Wangji has always certainly been trying to protect Wei Wuxian #it took him a long time to figure how to successfully do that though #rereading the books rn and noticing theres a lot of instances that could be read as lwj being frustrated over his inability to protect wwx #like he seemed ready to cry when wwx went missing for a while and then came back with the cursed leg #lwj has always been great at protecting wwx from physical threats (ex: waterborn abyss) but had no idea how to protect him from himself #meanwhile wwx has always been instictually good at saving lwj from both #like I'm 100% lwj would've become like Jiang Cheng if wwx hadn't snapped him out of the blindly following authority thing #and also like... 15 y/o lwj wasnt happy with his life. he was lonely and stressed and literally signing up to be flogged whenever he goofed #wwx is who allowed lwj to grow up by showing him what it was like to actually be a kid (shown in story whenever lwj gets drunk)#he led lwj to having a more flexible mindset. and it both let lwj relax and set lwj up to be a better parent #looking into lwj's dynamic with the juniors- he lets them break a fuck ton of the petty rules and encourages them to question authority #he also teaches them to not be married to any one meathod of problem solving #wwx is also able to save lwj from his own stubbornness #ex: carrying lwj when he broke his leg. getting lwj to cough up bad blood. getting lwj to keep the rabbits #wwx also tends to give lwj the words he has trouble saying himself. helps him communicate #wwx also protects lwj in fights a lot but thats narratively less important #except the various times wwx puts himself in danger to help lwj. those times are what made it so lwj could never move on from wwx #like with the cave incident #or when wwx helped surpress the arm instead of using the chaos to escape cloud recesses #tldr i guess: i think this fandom tends to treat lwj being the best like its natural to him when really wwx accidentaly rewired his brain #I'm looking directly at fanfic writers who act like the Lans would've treated wwx better than the Jiangs #lwj had to do so much work and self reflection post meeting wwx to be the way he is. he is not the sole product of the Lan teachings

Halenthir scenario where they get married for tax benefits (in a platonic good friends sort of way) and fall in love long distance via sending each other letters with ideas on how to best leverage their marriage for tax evasion.

Let’s actually get married for tax evasion purposes. It would be hilarious”#Up to you whether they get married in the elven way or just in the human way #Haleth fucks off back to brethil with a bunch of gifts from Caranthir like “bye bestie” and he’s like “👍. Bye bestie.”#And they strike up a proper correspondence #Because they’re married obviously #not because they’re having fun talking about loopholes in the tax code #That would be ridiculous. Obviously they are writing each other erotica.#All of Caranthir’s brothers find out because Caranthir ticks married on his tax return #Maglor voice: YOU GOT MARRIED? AND YOU DIDNT INVITE US?#Caranthir voice: It was pretty low-key. Now tell me. #I've never had doritos myself so I have no point of reference #I think they sell them here nowadays but it's a fairly new thing and I don't eat a lot of chips #they had spices in the past but they were extremely expensive #I think most of them had to be imported from South/Southeast Asia #India in particular #few could afford such luxury goods but if you could serve people spicy food it was a mark of wealth #so historically a lot of upper class dishes were extra flavorful #potentially to an overpowering degree maybe #it was a status thing #a dorito wouldn't kill him but I've mentioned he secretly tends to favor somewhat bland and unthreatening foods #that won't set off his sensory issues #he'll eat the various nutmeg cinnamon clove saffron ginger creations people serve to him because declining would be a massive faux pas #but it's not an enjoyable experience #answered #anonymous #give him some light broth and a little bit underseasoned chicken to eat with his watered down wine
