Discord Server Pruning

Hi all! I am making this announcement here in case any Camp Digimonth Server members might have the discord muted but still be following the event Tumblr here.

Our server first opened in late 2020. As with any fandom, interest naturally rises and falls among members, which is totally natural and fine! That does mean that, over time, servers accumulate inactive members. Active members report being more comfortable engaging in the server when they are familiar with the members in the server, meaning that occasional cleanups encourage engagement.

The Camp Digimonth Server will have its first removal of inactive members using statbot on 6/7/24. To retain your membership, all you need to do is send one text message in the discord between the time of this post and that date. There will be another reminder post here and in the discord when that date approaches. Any current members who do not make at least one post between now and then will be passively removed by the bot.

Please know that this is in no way personal, and it isn't meant to be scary or an attack. It's just routine, bot-controlled maintenance to encourage comfort and engagement within the server. Thank you <3

End of Discord Server Pruning

Hi all! I just ran statbot to remove inactive members. If you are like- hey! Wait man! What happened? Please know that past members who were removed for inactivity can contact ahiddenpath for re-entry at any time, you don't have to wait for a server admission period. If you ever get that Discord or Digimon itch again, we'll be here!

We are talking about how often the pruning will happen in the future. I'm thinking maybe twice per year or annually? The point is for all members to feel comfortable because they have some idea of who all the members are, it's not to, like... Be annoying, lol! So less frequent is fine.

An “what if there’s a pizzaplex location in China” au

They're an Eclipse, but you can just call them Wu Dan

They are a theater bot from the Shanghai pizzaplex, they play the Wu Dan role (female warrior/fighter role) in Traditional Chinese opera. They can sing they can dance, they perform with a spear, and they do Bian Lian mask trick.

Most time they stay as Eclipse but if needed they can switch between Sun and Moon on command. As the picture shows, the red mask is Sun, the Blue mask is moon, the split face is when both are up but not in sync, they can’t stay like that for long it burns their battery, and the white face is Eclipse

Sun is more hot headed and extroverted, Moon is more ‘hohoho I’m evil’ and introverted, when split face, they’re mostly having a fight and they use their traits against each other, when Eclipse, their traits are combined creating an neutralized version of themselves
