Being the vessel of an Aeon that was thought to have long since passed was no easy feat, as it required other Aeons to set their sights on you first.

Some call Them the Aeon of Creation, others the Aeon of Fate; the IPC have yet to decipher their time of arrival, much less their motives. Though, most theorize that they materialized long before the first atom had started moving, only to stay dormant in a state akin to hibernation after setting the universe up for self replication and ever expansion.

Their presence felt like home, a warm embrace, maybe even a light in the dark, or perhaps a form of escapism. Everyone is sure of one thing: once you accept Their calling, and accept the Astral Express's conductor's invitation, there will never be a way to turn back.

To others' eyes, a faint string can be seen reaching the heavens itself, tracing down a vessel, caressing their whole beings like a forced blanket thrown at their face.

An almost addicting bliss could be felt after these possessions, before that moment of ethereal release comes crashing down. Though, those that are used to always moving around — those with more stamina — don't usually feel this drawback as much as the others.

More often than not, the feeling of being watched and dazed dissipates and a feeling of fatigue sets in — intense tiredness, and even a slight chance to feel dizziness, had been reported from these... events.

But most importantly, a voice could be heard. A voice that many described as one which contained a thousand choirs, perhaps millions.

Among those was Argenti, a man of excellent talents that walked on the Path of Erudition, though claims to walk that of Beauty. One of the most recent vessels, per say.

He first felt this presence after accidentally hitting the Astral Express with his own ship, the "One and Only", he called it, the faint strings caressing the being of three out of the six Trailblazers.

To exude such a warm, calming aura around one at all times is truly a magnificent display of beauty, he thought.

The second time, however, it was quite a sudden moment. A strange letter was penned to him, claiming that it could make his goal of spreading the Beauty, if he used the golden ticket provided inside, a dozen steps closer.

The weirdest aspect was that he kept hearing faint whispers around him. Was this how vessels gained an invitation?

Though, feeling hesitant about this strange letter, he chose to send it instead to the Commander of the Silvermane Guards, Lady Bronya Rand, so that someone else could experience such a wonderful event.

The letter warned him that he must accept this invitation, were he to receive such a letter once more.

Third time's the charm, as they say, as not only did Argenti get another letter not too long after, the voices were much louder this time. They were more persuasive, more hoping and, most importantly, more enticing.

The letter beforehand told him of the earlier warning, and this one did not hesitate to emphasize it in the second paragraph.

And, left with no other choice, he had to accept this invitation. He truly didn't expect getting treated with such warmth and excitement seeping through every vein in his body.

He briefly caught sight of the Aeon in all their glory — was this a sign that his fate towards meeting the Beauty was slowly coming into fruition?

Being blessed by two Aeons, even briefly catching their attention, was a feat unlike any other, but being chosen as an active vessel by one? What a truly great achievement.

Along with the Trailblazer that caught him, four others stood behind them. A master swordsman that went by Yanqing, the owner of Neverwinter Workshop, Lady Serval Landau, the Commander of the Silvermane Guards he'd given the invite to earlier, Lady Bronya Rand, and a child that waved at him who called herself Lynx Landau.

Quite an interesting group of people, but a beautiful bond of friendship swirled among them nonetheless.

Slowly, he could feel himself getting stronger, even more so than before. This mysterious Aeon had gifted him so many things already, yet it doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon.

From the creations of the acolytes of the Aeon of Remembrance, Lightcones, to relics which were created from anomalies caused by the Antimatter Legion, and more — all were given to him to make him more powerful.

It was as if meeting and becoming the puppet of this Aeon could make you undeniably better than your former self, even after you thought you were already at your peak.

The world doesn't revolve around you? The creator of the universe lovingly revolves around me 24/7, thank you very much.

In a place unknown, a black haired Stellaron Hunter sneezes, causing two others beside him to sneak a small glance.

He merely huffs, averting his own gaze away.

Serval redesign…. i love her sm but i really don’t like her design. she isn’t giving rockstar, she isn’t giving former government scientist, she isn’t giving Cold Environment, and she most CERTAINLY isn’t giving mechanic who is in her thirties

so! I made her look a bit older, gave her an actual coat, and put a bit more pink in the upper half of her design, bc she felt pretty unbalanced. I also think it’s a shame that she isn’t very serval themed, so I gave her stage makeup based on their fur patterns :3 makeup and no makeup closeups vv

As much as I love romantic sampo ships like sampard, platonic ones mean sooooooooooo much to me.

Like- Hook and Sampo. I LOVE THEM. THEY’RE MY EVERYTHING AND THEY NEED MORE CONTENT. Hook saying Sampo’s the only cool grown-up and the only one to always play with her and the moles 😭. Sampo always looking out for her and stuf… I’m actually going to kill myself

Serval and Sampo being friends in the past too… he probably thought of her as a real friend but then Gepard told Serval to stay away from Sampo and now they don’t talk anymore

Natasha and Sampo seemingly completely trusting each other. Her knowing Sampo is extremely shady but she still asks him to deliver the letter to her parents (and he actually fulfills her request!!!!!!!!!)

Also his relationship with Sparkle is so interesting to me. Like Sampo can’t stand Sparkle but still sucks up to her if money’s involved. Sparkle liking Sampo to an extent even though she says he has too much restraint (I even heard someone theorize that she seeks some sort of acknowledgment/ attention from him as an older fool since Black Swan mentioned her wanting to be noticed and stuff) She also backs down when the joke about visiting Belobog seems to displease Sampo and actually abides by some sort of rules while working with Sampo despite having stated to despise them (possibly because she sees Sampo as a potential threat and doesn’t want to piss him off too much). Other than that we have their conversation at the end of Sparkles companions quest. Here Sampo talks rather lightheartedly with her and even compliments her to some extent (“I love that line you said”). Now because of him sucking up to her because of money idk if it’s him being genuine, being nice to her so he gets his mask back or just playing it up to the audience (especially since they’re both aware of said audience and are probably omitting imporatant info on the catastrophe on jarilo-vi because of that)

Also I genuinely love the idea of Sampo knowing random people across the galaxy. Like him and Argenti? Friends. Him and Boothill? Went on several heists together. Him and Jing Yuan? Aren’t in direct contact but when the astral express was off to visit the Luofu Sampo told the trailblazer to say hi to Jing Yuan for him.

How exactly did that?? Happen?? Like ignoring the obvious fact that a guitar case is a bad weapon and also Serval’s guitar is FUCKING huge, why???

I’m just picturing little baby Gepard like training to join the Guard and hauling around this absolutely ginormous guitar case and nobody bats an eye because obviously his sister fights with the LITERAL GUITAR that the case is for so sure this isn’t That Weird

One thing that’s almost completely obvious is that this woman is absolutely not afraid to show her love for you anywhere. Whether it be in public or private

Constantly, CONSTANTLY affectionate around you. Like this woman will shower you with kisses or hugs whenever you’re at home. Be it when you’re busy doing something, or just laying on the couch.

Serval secretly likes it when you come to her workshop unprompted. She’ll tell you something like “not now love, I’m busy.” Or “you could’ve waited home y’know…” but even when she says that, she lets you stay or hang out without complaints.

Speaking of which, if you try to leave she immediately locks her arms around you if you stayed for a while or if she thinks you feel like she didn’t want you around.

Serval feels all happy inside when you warm up to her siblings. It makes her feel like you’re apart of her family already…or that you maybe want to have a family with her, which genuinely makes her feel ecstatic.

Sometimes when she’s playing her guitar or just practicing, she just enjoys having your company. It makes her feel safe and like she’s not alone when it comes to her dreams and passions.

Probably prefers earbuds to over the ear headphones. When you ask her why she just shrugs and puts them back in.

Off topic, but I’m guessing she smells like whipped cream and oil.

She has a stash of gum. Period.

She probably sends you really sweet, or really stupid stuff in your chats. No exceptions. Once she sent you a picture of a fancy restaurant, and typed you a whole passage about how much she cherishes you. And then the next second she’s messaging you ‘31 ways to blow up a building’ at 2 in the morning.

Which I forgot to mention, she’s likely a night owl in my opinion. You could be fast asleep, but she goes to bed at like- 3 or 4 am.

Definitely snores while sleeping. And is completely sprawled out, limbs all over the place or hogging the blankets

That ends up leading to you pulling her against yourself in a tight hug while the both of you sleep, which somehow calms her down.
