Okay so I just watched @what-is-my-aesthetic's new video where she ranked Halloween specials, and that got me thinking about some Meet the Robinsons horror ideas.

Let's be honest with ourselves here: MEET THE ROBINSONS SHOULD'VE GOT A TV SHOW SPIN OFF FROM THE MOVIE. It was literally the perfect formula for an interesting series and we were ROBBED. Honestly if Disney doesn't make it into a cartoon in the near future I will be boycotting. JUSTICE FOR MEET THE ROBINSONS!

So anyway I'm imagining three ideas for horror Meet the Robinsons stuff. 1. The TV Special. Basically I'm imagining an episode that could go two ways. A situation similar to Flutterbat from MLP, where an invention goes haywire and it turns Cornelius into... something. I'm leaning more towards a bat creature because the image of him hanging upside down from a tree spitting out seeds is funny to me. Or, it could be an episode where it takes place from an alternate reality, where everyone in the Robinson family are just monsters. Wilbur could be like Frankie from Monster High, the idea that he was created because Cornelius and Franny wanted a child. So they made one! 2. The Creepypasta. This idea leans more towards creepypasta territory, like it wouldn't be airing on the Disney Channel, lol. What inspired me to create this reality is that in the movie, Wilbur mentions a "dark day at the Robinson house" when discussing what's left of the first prototype of the time machine. What if that day was fatal? What if when the prototype malfunctioned and exploded, it took the whole family with it, and burned down the house? Now that the house has been rebuilt and renovated, a new family moved into it, stating that it's perfect for their family, yada yada. But something isn't right. I've been watching too much of "My Haunted House" from Discovery+, so this next part is influenced by the countless stories I've seen from there. Cornelius - a by extension the other Robinsons, but mostly Neil - starts tormenting the new family. One of the family members get the worst of the worst, as they're in a weird dream-like state. The other members of the family always find them "talking" to a wall in the house and not responding to their calls. When they finally wake the person up, they say, "There was a man talking to me from the wall." There's nothing behind that wall, though... 3. The Labyrinth Named School. Okay so I've been OBSESSED with this old horror game I found out about a little while ago called "White Day: A Labyrinth Named School." Basically in that game there are a lot of ghosts that you can encounter and learn about, twenty in total I think. The way I see this working is that characters from Meet the Robinsons all attended this school at some point, but now they're all dead by one way or another. For example, Lizzy could be the Spider Girl, Lewis can be the Kid Solving a Problem (a.k.a. the Eyeless Spirit), Spike and Dmitri could be the Doppelganger Ghost, Bud could be the Tree Ghost, Michael/Goob could be the Face Filled with Hatred, etc... I understand this is an AU sort of idea, but I still think it's fun to discuss!

So yeah since it's around Halloween time, I've been thinking about this stuff and I wanna know what other people think. :P Or if you have anything to add, I'm open for discussions via asks or comments or whatever. Thank you for listening to my brain dump, lol.

- him looking out for Yinglei (probably could be the elder brother to him that ZYC is to Baijiu)

Hear me out for a second

One day I was just thinking about season 2 ep6 of the hollow and analyzing reeve and adam's relationship out of boredom, when I realized something and have been thinking about it for the past 2 weeks up to now and I wanted to ask...

Am I the only one who thinks that the moment in s2ep7 where Adam brings up the conversation that reeve overheard which led to their fallout was a missed opportunity to show exactly how their fall out happened? Think about it! once Adam started with "About that conversation you overheard" and reeve replies with "let's not do this right now", right after he replies with that, we could have gotten a flashback in reeve's perspective where he hears their conversation, surprises and confronts them or leaves without warning (most likely the second one). Once the sequence is over Adam starts with "i don't think you heard how it ended" and then we are given the same flashback sequence but in adam's perspective and starts explaining how he would never do that to him while the sequence is still going and stops when he says "cause beyond the hollow, beyond being my teammate, we're friends" and tells him how he should've told him about it. Then they forgive each other and divorce is no more!!! XD

The team was probably saving this for season 3 (which aged very poorly) but even if season 3 happened, why would they tell us now when they could've shown us what happened between them in season 2? maybe in season 3 Kai would get curious and ask Adam and reeve how their fallout happened, and they would just explain it to him cause he now knows Adam and reeve separated but he doesn't know how it happened, and wants to catch up with the reeve and Adam divorce lore xd

OK everyone hear me out, Raine and Adrian are like complete opposites, yet they could've had such a good dynamic going on if the show didn't get shortened.

They main thing they have in common is that their type of magic (bard and illusion) are very centered on putting on a performance or at least being on a type of stage.

It is from here that they start to differ. Mostly with personality and roles.

Starting with Raine having stage fright and most of the time, they're shown to be on a stage/front and center.

Meanwhile Adrian loves being in the spotlight and lives for drama, yet is seen to place himself as a director behind the scenes of his illusions as a preference.

Deapite their differences, one thing's for sure is that they both love what they do (music and directing)

I also find it ironic/funny that they're the only coven heads with jewelry and it's in the form of an earring, yet they wear it on different ears.

And of course the most obvious difference it that they're on opposing sides with Raine being a rebel, and Adrian working for Belos.

(Not to mention that Raine is the first covenhead we meet and Adrian is the last)

So with this in mind, could you imagine how they'd interact with each other?

Like there's a lot of potential here for interactions they could've had if the show didn't get shortened and allowed them to have screen time.

Of course Adrian will tease Raine about their stage fright and flubbing simple lines and Raine telling Adrian straight up he's the Boiling Isles worst director.

Adrian telling Raine to get a fashion sense and Raine hates it and his style.

Titan forbid they're paired together for any kind of mission because of course Adrian would so try to order Raine around so he could trick people with his illusions with Raine hidden behind one.

Not to mention, what if they both went to St. Epiderm? They probably know a lot of dirt about each other.

Despite all this I do like to think that they like similar music (classical music) and understand how music is important to adding to scenes/cinema.

I like to imagine that both of them can tell what constitutes as good vs bad music and when they hear bad music, they just agree it's the worst thing to hear.

I also like to headcannon that sometimes Raine will play some music just because they like to and Adrian most of the time will yell at them to stop. But occasionally if he likes the music they're playing, he'll listen but never tell them.

Like I swear, there was potential to be had here and in my opinion they should've interacted on screen.

watching people discover the fucked up science guy part of viktor's lore and then being like "we need to acknowledge that he's a fucked up science guy 😔" is so funny. like yeah, he is a fucked up science guy who thinks ethics committees are bullshit because in his mind having rights temporarily violated is perfectly fine if it means saving lives—especially when the ones condemning his beliefs don't offer what they consider to be an ethical alternative to fix the problem and simply let it continue to exist.

and yeah, he's a fucked up science guy who experimented on himself following a, quote: traumatic period of introspection. he had a mental breakdown, fell into a major depressive episode, and spending this horrible time of his life "alone in the depths" reinforced and radicalized his previous beliefs, and to showcase his beliefs (and to try and get rid of his emotions because of how overwhelming they were) he turned himself into a cyborg (and did in fact make himself worse in certain ways but ehh who cares /j).

and yeah, he's a fucked up science guy who gave a kid back alley anti anxiety meds so he could face down his bullies, but he did so after making him a cozy beverage, teaching him about the dangers of propaganda and baseless rumors, and having him scream into a megaphone to freak out said bullies because it was funny (not that he'd admit to finding it funny because then he'd have to admit to having emotions, and well he can't do that, no sir).

so yes, viktor is a fucked up science guy, but that's half his charm! he cares so much about helping people, but he's a weirdo and freak about it! though to be fair, in the city that also has a chemically enhanced werewolf (warwick), a sentient blob of goo (zac), a wind and water goddess (janna), and a literal war criminal who invented chemical warfare (singed), among many other wacky individuals, he's pretty normal all things considered! fucked up science is just a part of life in zaun, my dudes!
