Okay so I just watched @what-is-my-aesthetic's new video where she ranked Halloween specials, and that got me thinking about some Meet the Robinsons horror ideas.

Let's be honest with ourselves here: MEET THE ROBINSONS SHOULD'VE GOT A TV SHOW SPIN OFF FROM THE MOVIE. It was literally the perfect formula for an interesting series and we were ROBBED. Honestly if Disney doesn't make it into a cartoon in the near future I will be boycotting. JUSTICE FOR MEET THE ROBINSONS!

So anyway I'm imagining three ideas for horror Meet the Robinsons stuff. 1. The TV Special. Basically I'm imagining an episode that could go two ways. A situation similar to Flutterbat from MLP, where an invention goes haywire and it turns Cornelius into... something. I'm leaning more towards a bat creature because the image of him hanging upside down from a tree spitting out seeds is funny to me. Or, it could be an episode where it takes place from an alternate reality, where everyone in the Robinson family are just monsters. Wilbur could be like Frankie from Monster High, the idea that he was created because Cornelius and Franny wanted a child. So they made one! 2. The Creepypasta. This idea leans more towards creepypasta territory, like it wouldn't be airing on the Disney Channel, lol. What inspired me to create this reality is that in the movie, Wilbur mentions a "dark day at the Robinson house" when discussing what's left of the first prototype of the time machine. What if that day was fatal? What if when the prototype malfunctioned and exploded, it took the whole family with it, and burned down the house? Now that the house has been rebuilt and renovated, a new family moved into it, stating that it's perfect for their family, yada yada. But something isn't right. I've been watching too much of "My Haunted House" from Discovery+, so this next part is influenced by the countless stories I've seen from there. Cornelius - a by extension the other Robinsons, but mostly Neil - starts tormenting the new family. One of the family members get the worst of the worst, as they're in a weird dream-like state. The other members of the family always find them "talking" to a wall in the house and not responding to their calls. When they finally wake the person up, they say, "There was a man talking to me from the wall." There's nothing behind that wall, though... 3. The Labyrinth Named School. Okay so I've been OBSESSED with this old horror game I found out about a little while ago called "White Day: A Labyrinth Named School." Basically in that game there are a lot of ghosts that you can encounter and learn about, twenty in total I think. The way I see this working is that characters from Meet the Robinsons all attended this school at some point, but now they're all dead by one way or another. For example, Lizzy could be the Spider Girl, Lewis can be the Kid Solving a Problem (a.k.a. the Eyeless Spirit), Spike and Dmitri could be the Doppelganger Ghost, Bud could be the Tree Ghost, Michael/Goob could be the Face Filled with Hatred, etc... I understand this is an AU sort of idea, but I still think it's fun to discuss!

So yeah since it's around Halloween time, I've been thinking about this stuff and I wanna know what other people think. :P Or if you have anything to add, I'm open for discussions via asks or comments or whatever. Thank you for listening to my brain dump, lol.

"omg everyone on spn is so beautiful 😍 " YEAH AND I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS. why does everyone get to keep their teeth after all those blows to the head/face. why does no one smoke 40 a day and why doesn't it show on their faces. why does no one look fucked and puffy and dehydrated from drinking whiskey all day. why doesnt dean have stick and poke tattoos all the way up his arms and a crooked face from broken bones that set back wrong. why does sam not have sunken eyes and look 30 years older than he is from the strsss of being like tortured by the fucking devil. why does everyone have a perfect head of hair. why do (especially female) victims of terrible things look like they've just spent a day at the salon bc who has time for that when a ghoul's eating your kid's brain or whatever. why does no one have visible and obvious scars. why are the horrors of this lifestyle alluded to but everyone is still so PRETTY. have i mentioned that i hate this show today ❤️

the fact that we did not get Richie or Carmy calling each other cousin even ONCE in season 3 is all you really need to know. not a single instance of the word cousin even found in the present day of the entire season, The Bear showrunners when I catch you!!!!!

OK everyone hear me out, Raine and Adrian are like complete opposites, yet they could've had such a good dynamic going on if the show didn't get shortened.

They main thing they have in common is that their type of magic (bard and illusion) are very centered on putting on a performance or at least being on a type of stage.

It is from here that they start to differ. Mostly with personality and roles.

Starting with Raine having stage fright and most of the time, they're shown to be on a stage/front and center.

Meanwhile Adrian loves being in the spotlight and lives for drama, yet is seen to place himself as a director behind the scenes of his illusions as a preference.

Deapite their differences, one thing's for sure is that they both love what they do (music and directing)

I also find it ironic/funny that they're the only coven heads with jewelry and it's in the form of an earring, yet they wear it on different ears.

And of course the most obvious difference it that they're on opposing sides with Raine being a rebel, and Adrian working for Belos.

(Not to mention that Raine is the first covenhead we meet and Adrian is the last)

So with this in mind, could you imagine how they'd interact with each other?

Like there's a lot of potential here for interactions they could've had if the show didn't get shortened and allowed them to have screen time.

Of course Adrian will tease Raine about their stage fright and flubbing simple lines and Raine telling Adrian straight up he's the Boiling Isles worst director.

Adrian telling Raine to get a fashion sense and Raine hates it and his style.

Titan forbid they're paired together for any kind of mission because of course Adrian would so try to order Raine around so he could trick people with his illusions with Raine hidden behind one.

Not to mention, what if they both went to St. Epiderm? They probably know a lot of dirt about each other.

Despite all this I do like to think that they like similar music (classical music) and understand how music is important to adding to scenes/cinema.

I like to imagine that both of them can tell what constitutes as good vs bad music and when they hear bad music, they just agree it's the worst thing to hear.

I also like to headcannon that sometimes Raine will play some music just because they like to and Adrian most of the time will yell at them to stop. But occasionally if he likes the music they're playing, he'll listen but never tell them.

Like I swear, there was potential to be had here and in my opinion they should've interacted on screen.

Seriously, they're just two diametrically opposed theater/choir kids with dumb queer energy.

Hear me out for a second

One day I was just thinking about season 2 ep6 of the hollow and analyzing reeve and adam's relationship out of boredom, when I realized something and have been thinking about it for the past 2 weeks up to now and I wanted to ask...

Am I the only one who thinks that the moment in s2ep7 where Adam brings up the conversation that reeve overheard which led to their fallout was a missed opportunity to show exactly how their fall out happened? Think about it! once Adam started with "About that conversation you overheard" and reeve replies with "let's not do this right now", right after he replies with that, we could have gotten a flashback in reeve's perspective where he hears their conversation, surprises and confronts them or leaves without warning (most likely the second one). Once the sequence is over Adam starts with "i don't think you heard how it ended" and then we are given the same flashback sequence but in adam's perspective and starts explaining how he would never do that to him while the sequence is still going and stops when he says "cause beyond the hollow, beyond being my teammate, we're friends" and tells him how he should've told him about it. Then they forgive each other and divorce is no more!!! XD

The team was probably saving this for season 3 (which aged very poorly) but even if season 3 happened, why would they tell us now when they could've shown us what happened between them in season 2? maybe in season 3 Kai would get curious and ask Adam and reeve how their fallout happened, and they would just explain it to him cause he now knows Adam and reeve separated but he doesn't know how it happened, and wants to catch up with the reeve and Adam divorce lore xd

We were robbed of more Rachel Elizabeth Dare content in the Trials of Apollo series!! What we did get was amazing but like, THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN WHERE SHE SHOWED UP THE MOST!! She's *Apollo's* Oracle dammit!

Anyway, I read through all the Rachel and Apollo content on AO3 and am desperate for more, whether that be romantic or them just being bros so if y'all could point me in that direction I would be muchly appreciative

HEADCANONS ABOUT DAEMON’S RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS DAUGHTER(S):

RHAENA:

Daemon nicknamed Rhaena “Rhae” when she was just learning how to speak because she couldn’t fully pronounce her name and because of it he wanted to give her something easier she could pronounce.

When Rhaena was three she got really sick and Daemon (and Laena) were terrified because of the fact that when she was a baby she frequently got sick and they were scared the same thing was going to start happening again. Daemon tried to put on a brave face for Laena but one night breaks down at Rhaena’s bedside and even starts praying that she lives. When she started feeling better Daemon wouldn’t let her out of his sight for the first few days. He still gets anxious every time she gets sick.

He took her on dragonback rides with him when she was little. As she got older (and their relationship began to fall apart) those rides became less and less common. Every time they go to Driftmark he still extends the offer for her to join him. Sometimes she accepts other times she doesn’t.

After Baela left for Driftmark Rhaena become noticeably more quiet and sad. Because of this one day he invited her to a private dinner. When they’re finished eating and she’s smiling he asks her if she wants to go to Driftmark with Baela. Rhaena breaks down crying and Daemon holds her like a baby while they have a heart to heart. After that they begin having weekly dinners. Just the two of them.

When it comes to jewelry Daemon spoils Rhaena with it. He’s even had some of his own rings melted and forged into rings and bracelets for her.

Daemon looks at Rhaena and sees himself (literally and metaphorically) because of this he feels as if sometimes they look at one another but don’t see the other. Other times they look at each other and they quite literally see their reflection in each others eyes.

Daemon knows his relationship with Rhaena isn’t as close as his relationship with Baela (which is saying something given Baela doesn’t even live with him) but he feels as if he’s already done too much damage and instead withdraws from her.

BAELA:

Daemon used to call Baela “little dragon” when she was little and still occasionally calls her it.

Baela pronounces words in High Valyrian with the same “accent” Laena did because of this Daemon never tried/tries to correct it.

Baela used to be afraid of Caraxes when she was little and because of it would only go near Vhagar. Daemon of course decided this wouldn’t do and when Laena was pregnant with Rhaena took Baela on a ride with him. She stopped fearing Caraxes after that but still preferred Vhagar.

Daemon keeps the letters Baela sends him separate from his other ones because those ones are special to him.

Oftentimes they race one another on dragonback from Driftmarm to Dragonstone and back.

When angry both Daemon and Baela (instead of getting to the root of the problem) shut down but have a tendency to lash out/be snappy towards others.

Daemon sees his faults in Rhaena (all the insecurities and negative emotion he struggles with he knows Rhaena struggles with too) and his “fight” within Baela. He also sees Laena every time he looks at Baela which brings back a lot of bittersweet memories.

These headcanons are awesome 👏🏽Can I just say I love how you mentioned Daemon sees himself in Rhaena. Yes, he and Baela are both “take charge” hotheads, but Rhaena is definitely his more vulnerable side. She’s the side of him he likes to pretend doesn’t exist(and Rhaena thinks he pushes her away because he doesn't see anything of himself in her😭).

Also love the part about him keeping Baela’s letters separate from everyone else’s(that’s his baby girl 🙌🏽). Also love the little nickname(and it would be super cute if that's how she signs her letters from time to time🥹).
