I have been seeing your artwork since...almost 10 years ago, I think! I must have first come across your works of the amazing species you have created: The Zorgoia! It is absolutely wonderful seeing this creation of yours flourishes and expands throughout the years. Even now, I still see many of your 'Goias around, popular and loved! You have definitely left an irreplaceable mark in the community, and it is something you can absolutely be proud of.

Recently, I came across your works again (and your blog here!), and I am absolutely intrigued by that latest story/project of yours: Spark of the Eye! I immediately fell in love with your boys Izzari, Kelvin, and (more recently) Nymir! Seeing your works of them (and of SOTE in general) always makes me smile. I am happy to know you too enjoy drawing these characters of yours, as well as designing the world-building for the Ikartan society and beyond.

(Really, the detail you have given to the Ikarta is amazing. From the nomenclature, their home planet, the ringworld, their space-travelling structures...I am beyond astonished!)

“S-seriously?”

“Stay,” commanded Eddie. “Stay… willingly. I saw you stripping my scales from me with your eyes. You wanted this bat-lord naked.”

Steve was kicking wildly, blacking out. Eddie finally released him.

Some people didn’t understand why you were with Todd Tolansky. Most just saw him and instantly judged. But people didn’t see the little things. 

They didn’t see his thoughtful side. 

“I got these because I know they're your favorite,” Toad would say as he pulled out a bag of Kit Kat bites for you. 

“Aww you didn’t have too.” You paused before opening the bag, “did you steal these?”

He said nothing but you could tell from his nervous smile that he did. 

“Todd, thank you but don’t steal for me, it doesn’t feel right.”

They didn’t see that side of him that supported you whenever you doubted yourself. 

“Are you kidding me? You’re going to be amazing!” 

You were currently freaking out over a class project. Sure you worked hard in preparing it, but you weren’t the best with presentations. 

“Mmm…I don’t know.”

“Trust me. You got this.”

“You don’t know that.”

“Yeah I do. Because it’s you.”

And he was right.

Despite how he acted no one saw how he cared for you. 

“Are you sure you’re okay with this?” Is what came out of his mouth the whole second week of your dating. He was so concerned with what everyone thought when they saw the two of you together. He wasn’t nervous for himself, he was nervous for you. Toad knew what people would think. How people would react. What people would say. He just wanted you to be okay. But still, the two of you walked together, side by side, hand in hand through the mall. 

“Yes I’m fine. You’re my boyfriend and I want to be seen with you,” you’d remind him. 

It was something he wasn’t used to, but he liked the feeling.

People didn’t see the vulnerable side of him. That side that made you just want to wrap him up and tell him how important he is to you. 

“I don't deserve anything. I don't deserve them or you."

“Hey, stop. Look at me,” he’d do as told, his yellow eyes locking onto yours. He was spiraling deeper and deeper in his own insecurities. 

You, his friends, he felt he wasn’t meant to have any of that. But you were going to make sure he knew he was wrong. 

In order to get it into his head, you lowered yourself to his body that was currently scrunched close to the ground. 

“You deserve more than you think.”

You knew even with your words, it would be hard for him to feel that love you had for him, so you would just have to make your point more often. 

And no one ever saw his endearing moments at the end of each night.“You’re like a dream.”

“Since I’ve met you, I’ve changed for the better.”

“You do be sexy.”

“You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on.”

Sure he was loud, goofy, maybe even desperate at times. But that’s just what others saw and while it annoyed you that no one gave him the chance of day, you also were grateful sometimes that he was just all yours.

So, yesterday my dad didn't get me plantain (in the "3d") but i didn't care, i kept saying that i had it still and that he's going to buy a plate for me every night until Sunday because that's when i go grocery shopping lol. Tonight, he came one time with nothing but i couldn't care less, i was still doubting but every time i would just re-affirm in my head and tell myself that he's coming now with a plate and quickly imagine myself eating the plantain, the crispiness of it and the smell. I imagined him knocking on my door with the plate and everything.

He came again with what ? my plateee !

I also, in middle of November (that's around the time i found your posts), my grandma told me that my extended family was going to come here on the 15 of November .. i did NOT want that, it was too close so i just told myself that they would come on the 15 of December. Mind you, i had my doubts and when i heard noises around her house, i would think "that's probably them" but instead of entertaining that idea, i just told myself that me doubting or saying that doesn't change the fact that they're going to come in December. Today, in the afternoon, she came and said that they're coming in December for 2 weeks, i was so happy ! i didn't ask her the exact date but i know it's the 15 because i said so.

That whole "who cares if i am doubting because it's done and is already happening/happened" ideology is making it so much easier for me, i have a big mass that is lifted and affirming intuitively is the best.

I also ended a 4 year relationship with my abusive ex and while it might not be manifesting but your posts about uplifting yourself and not giving in on negativity made me stop beat myself down so much less and also helps me stop putting myself down and instead uplifting myself and i am done with him. I wanted to end it for 2 years and look now, another page in my life !

more thoughts bc i wrote just that fic last night as tho possessed — thea and khalid get along for a lot of the reasons she said but also some that didn’t come up!

she’s a renowned battle hero by that point and the minute she showed up he grabbed her hands like oh my GOD someone QUALIFIED is here. but not coming from a place of fear, just like! relief that this raised their chances at actually succeeding! and thea noticed the subtle distinction cocked her head a little and went this man is interesting i bet he has some fascinating fucking takes on the situation he’s in.

at which point they started drinking together + she roped him into some of the card games the soldiers play. they have a lot of inebriated and tearful conversations about how much they love their wives (thea’s wife being an absolute nightmare who’s like 400 years older than her and refuses to marry her despite deliberately stringing her along for over a century. that’s a whole other story). khalid is the only person to date who actually accidentally unlocked eventual access to the WHOLE story behind thea’s paramour, at which point he grabs her shoulders like in a drunk girls in the bathroom kinda moment and goes I can kill her. Do you want me to kill her? I can seriously fucking kill her. and thea is just like 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 (kinda tearing up) no man you don’t have to do that it’s okay

she is often written off as unintelligent and brutish and he is often written off as weak and cowardly and i think they both respond to that with a sort of similar indifference/resilience, where they don’t love the sentiment but they understand how people got there and they don’t see the point in arguing with people who aren’t discerning enough to figure them out + also kinda secretly think it’s true anyway. he mentions that he appreciates her insight and thea goes ?? and kinda does a very touched double take bc that’s the first time anyone has said that to her. she mentions that he’s a lion of a man and khalid is like ??????? (a little tearful) th thank you!!!!!

he thinks her crush on jaheira is 1) a testament to her taste 2) a demonstration of her love and respect for him, bc she will do all kinds of complicated parkour to try and avoid his wife, as she is deeply into his wife, which he thinks is literally the only appropriate response to his wife. so in the most insane way possible this actually does bring them closer because she is so intensely dedicated to demonstrating that out of respect and admiration for one of the best friends she’s made she’s never going to put the moves on jaheira despite being possessed w cosmic longing + he’s like yeah obviously. Cosmic longing is the ONLY way ANYONE intelligent can respond to jaheira. Don’t know why this isn’t happening with more people. I love our friendship too btw

she is the kind of friend where jaheira is always saying in a slightly put upon tone — OH. you were out drinking with THEA. okay. How much property damage was there.

she calls khalid “sunshine” :) she’s a very nickname-y person and when he asks why she’s like Um Because You Light Up A Room???? God??? You Should Know This, Man. Whatever. Don’t Make Me Talk About It More. he spends like a week trying to figure out a return nickname being a whole nerd about it consulting all sorts of sources and taking notes and maybe looping jaheira in (jaheira is like WHY. NO) until finally settling on “sunlight” bc he would have gotten best friend necklaces for her at claire’s if that was a thing in bg1 but this is the next best matchy matchy nonsense he can come up with. thea is like (vibrating slightly trying not to cry) that’s so stupid i hate it. He speaks terrible woman so he knows he landed a critical hit and goes :) for the rest of the week

I seriously LOVE your “The most embarrassing series of posts about Lawlu“ posts I am on the eighth blog of it and want to know if there will be more of them?

Thank you for enjoying them! I also enjoy writing the Lawlu posts series a lot! Sometimes I just share the discoveries I already made some time ago, other times I discover new things by patiently analyzing the frames as I go when writing. I feel like I finally found the angle I believe in when it comes to Lawlu (before that I was struggling how to see them and changed my interpretations a lot). So I guess you could say what you get in these posts is my final view. It might of course still change, mostly in details here and there, but I think the core idea is sticking for good.

If you want to know where's my faith in Lawlu coming from, I really encourage you to read my theory on pirates and their treasures. It explains how I think Oda coded love in his manga (doesn't have to be romantic love, may I add!), there's a bit about Lawlu, Zosan, Shuggy and few others there. It also provides you a fishing rod, in case you like to go fishing up treasures in the manga by yourself :)

How much posts have I planned for the Lawlu series? Oh boy, okay, so those who want to be surprised just don't click on "read more" and those who just want to know already what's up ahead, enjoy!

Right as I'm writing this reply, I finished the post about Whole Cake Island arc (it's part 12). I intend to do from now on:

the whole Wano arc (I suspect it will take me more or less 4 or 5 posts, because that's how much it took for Dressrosa. But I also plan to add anime-only extensions to it, because they're super good in this arc, so who knows how long this arc will take overall. Might be a long journey!)

Egghead (I don't expect more than one post centered on it tho. I also need to reread the whole arc at once, because it changes perspective a lot in comparison to following it one chapter a week)

movies edition (there are just two with Lawlu, but the scenes with them are just too good to skip in my series. Also there is that Tokyo Tower special and Wano recap with Law commenting on events that made me flail way too much, so who knows? I might write stuff about those as well?)

Shanks x Buggy edition (yep, I finally want to take it head on :D it's not Lawlu, but it will follow the same idea. Since we don't really get many scenes about Shuggy it will definitely not be very long lol)

still unsure about Sabaody+post Marineford. Mostly because I already used two most important scenes from there in other posts (on my interpretation study about Lawlu's friendship which is part 2 of my Law's touch and closeness series of meta posts), and I plan to use the third one as a callback in Wano. I'm still divided about the rest of it, because their post-Marineford scenes seem to be heavily dependant on the theme of fate and I won't pretend that I know yet where that is going. Whatever I could offer now would be considered heavy conspiracy theories, I'm afraid. I would rather wait on writing Sabaody till I get things in proper perspective, but if my head gets too full of thoughts I might do that post regardless.

playing in my head with the idea of Lawlu in the spinoffs of One Piece, because they have some fun scenes...

and of course once Law finally appears again in the manga, I will be doing posts on that as well :D

That's the plan for now! Of course if you want to drop me ideas for more posts about Lawlu, I will happily await them :D I'm mostly just going where my inspiration takes me, and inspiration tends to be a fleeting thing haha.

I've mentioned it in passing to Kaydin a lot, but Hello Neighbor was the first fandom I was a part of (even before fnaf which has arguably had a bigger impact on my life as a whole). I remember way back in 2016 when I was just a wee lad with very little internet access and the just- joy the alphas brought me. I remember waiting patiently for ANYONE to make videos on the game, for MatPat's theories on it, and so on. Hell, I remember getting so upset about the final game that I swore off Hello Neighbor forever (you can guess how well that went, heck even at the time I couldn't keep away completely from Hello Neighbor 2)

But when I was in those early fandom spaces, like a lot of young artists probably do, I wanted to be up there, wanted to be one of the artists you recognize with their content about a certain series, yknow? And it's cool that while the Hello Neighbor Fandom today is quiet, it's still active enough to share my and Kaydin's art and theories and way WAY over-analyzing.

Maybe this show will be the push this franchise needs to get it back on the water, floating with the other indie series. I mean it certainly dragged me back in.

All this to say that it's so cool getting to be one of the artists making stuff to satisfy the hyperfixation of the rest of the fandom lol. And getting this ask has legit made my week <3

(It's for my own sanity too dw, if I bottled up all this hyperfixation I'd explode, even after dragging Kaydin into it. And that's not to mention my Senior Promise (tm) I've made lmao)

Finished the most recent chapter, and as an aroacespec person myself, I was so comforted by the slow and natural progression you've given Scar and Grians relationship in this. I'm inclined to physical affection myself, and that's something frequently excluded in pairings that people write as aroace/qpr adjacent. A lot of times they're always considered strictly romantic, but the way you've written this feels so right in the sense of Queerplatonic, as you mentioned you intended originally in the notes. I just wanted to say thank you for that! Reading how they hold each other and comfort one another (wont go into detail, as to not spoil ch26 for anyone reading this) just clicks in a way that's Their Connection, and it doesn't feel like it's trying to or needs to be anything else. It's so content, and it makes me feel so warm to see that in a fic with two characters I resonate with a lot.

Not to mention the plot- omg, I've been fawning over it all week! My favorite moment I think is definitely the kitchen scene with Iskall and Scars little standoff- the visual was so sassy and queer from Scars end, it just made me cackle to no end I absolutely loved the attitude. But really, I try not to theorize too much when reading stories that way every turn feels like a huge shock, and this fic keeps my attention so well I didn't even have the chance to, I was far too busy enjoying every little flair of dialogue and fluid change of scenario. I literally gasped and yelled "OH /SHIT/" aloud multiple times, I'm not embarassed to say it. There are so many details you kept so quaint and innocent at the beginning, I never even questioned them until their importance later on!

This story has been absolutely, insanely, phenomenally fun to read, and I can't wait to see where you take things next. I've been planning my own fic for ages, and reading something like this has really inspired me to pick up my pages and keep going. I hope you have a wonderful day, and that you have a lot of fun working on the rest of the story! I know I'm dying to read the next chapter whenever you feel it's right to show, and others will be too :).

"At Least Don't Forget Your Most Special Day"

At first, he will forget because this person is actually experienced in dates, he knew when he forgot important dates he will be smAcKed *just kidding*

Today it’s your birthday and you act cold towards, him. Why? Because it's Q4 of the year, you have many jobs to do at the office. Kuroo didn’t mind that, it is just how it is, you’re a pretty busy career woman but still trying hard to be at home punctual because Kuroo often asks “going home late again? Can I have you 1 hour earlier today :(“

2 days have passed but somehow, it’s November. Huh? That’s weird, in October they are supposed to celebrate only 1 important day: your birthday. Kuroo was confused and checked his phone again, and he just receive a notification entitled “Y/N’s birthday” has passed 2 days late!

He was confused, and called her, “hon, you’re okay, right?”

“Uh? Really Tetsu, don’t mention your stupid prank/confusing questions now I’m still in the middle of work”

“Wow honey, you changed a lot” he pouted, well she forgot her own birthday and she didn’t even remember something missing around her? Okay this woman is pretty something

“Sorry honey, I’m just pretty stressed, I’m going back late again okay:( I’m so sorry for not cooking for you a whole week”. Ok but Tetsu is like, ‘honey sweetie please be sad a little that I forgot your birthday 🙁

They end up their conversation at 8 PM

He goes to the nearest bakery/convenience store/okonomiyaki stand, just anything to make a little surprise for his girlfriend, even tho it’s just a little. 

“I’m home, Tetsu?” the room was pitch black, and she didn’t see anything

He showed up, bringing a self-made pancake with waffles and ice cream, decorated with candles, and a piece of paper written “Happy Late 25th Birthday Kitten! Sorry your man here didn’t find any cakes left on the streets”

“Oh….?” she was confused while Kuroo is singing her happy birthday, and she checked the calendar. “Oh my dear, thank you for remembering it, Tetsu...”

“Seriously? You didn't remember? Even a little?” he asked

“Uh… yeah, well it's late for 2 days... so....”

“No one said happy birthday to you? Last 2 days?” he asked again.

“No one, hon” she said sadly. Well, Kuroo does know that Y/N hates birthdays because she didn’t have any friends, and also her parents were not remembering her day much because of financial problems since she was little, she always stays with her grandma yet she never celebrate her birthday. Not even once. She often sad when she saw her friends celebrating their birthday with their parents and relatives. that’s why before she met Kuroo, she always forgets her birthday. At first she just dont want to remember, but later she just forgets it. poor woman:(

“Kitten you have me now, okay? Please just let me spoil you with any stupid gifts, even I will give you a car on your special birthday” He strokes her head, hoping her to just depending on him more, it's her special day.

“Nuh-uh, no thank you mister rooster there. Car it's too expensive including maintenance, tax, and insurance. Just you remembering is more than enough for me” she answered him, kiss him on the cheek, and hugs him tightly because it's her 1st birthday to celebrate.

"Whatever then, that's really you. But remember if you forget your birthday again I will forcefully spoiling you" he hugging her back. She remembers Tetsu's important dates such as matches, birthday and even his cat's death anniversary. So he feel wrong not celebrating his darling girl.

“okay then, blow up the candles first please, don’t forget to make a wish” he laughs, stroking her head, leading her to blow the candles.

“Should I say my wishes out loud?” she jokingly asked him

“Well I will be glad to hear it, but if you don’t it’s okay. It’s your day, honey” he answered, with a smile, so many couples were angry when their partners forget their days but this time, it’s not so bad.

“My wish is you’ll stay remember again like this, even if it’s 2 days late” she blew up the candle.

"Nine feet tall, weighs 643 pounds, with freakishly huge hands and spiky hair, saved the whole arcade once.. That Ralph?" The president of Sugar Rush sat there, on one of the square trees, dangling her legs like the innocent angel she was supposed to be.

"Yes, that Ralph." Replied the blonde warrior as she rolled her eyes. "Nah, never heard of him." That definitely wasn't an innocent angel. Cammy just raised a brow, clearly not amused, and the candy girl apparently surrendered. "Uff.. Bigfoot's not here, I'm waiting for him myself. Say, whatcya need him for, anyway?" The muscular woman mimicked a few blows in the air, as if a player was controlling her. "I like to train after-hours and Ralph's a great sparring partner, no one can take a hit like he does!"

Vanellope couldn't deny it made sense. "Sooo basically you need a punching bag, I see. Listen, he's surely at Tapper's, I'd follow ya but they're baking pies." She pointed at the building behind them. "Bring him back in one piece, 'kay?" White gave a thumbs up, and in no time she was on the exit cart thanks to one of her epic jumps. It seemed she couldn't stand still for long. "Off to find my target! See you around."

About a minute since the train disappeared into the wire for Game Central Station, Ralph's head popped out the front door of Felix' apartment. "She gone?" Vanellope sneered and glicthed her way down to the grass, hands in her kangaroo pocket as usual. "Yeah yeah, coast is clear, Captain Scaredy Pants. But now you owe me one."

It wasn't until after taking a couple more looks towards the exit of the game, that Wreck-It came out of hiding and focused on his answer. "You wouldn't make fun of me if you had a round with her." True. "Really Ralph? A beast like you is scared of some Street Fighter chick?" Countered Von Schweetz, seriously amused by all this.

"Well DUH, you have no idea what her legs can do!" Man, just the memory had his neck hurt. "Your fault, you shouldn't have-" He didn't even let her finish. "Oh no! No no no! I agreed to block her moves ONCE, and she took the liberty to unleash combos on me ever since!" Poor guy. "Eh, maybe it's Cammy's way to say I like ya big boy." Winked the candy girl, only to see in response a gigantic hand waving dismissively.

"Almost forgot, on my way here I met the folks of Dance Dance Revolution kinda begging for us to join their saturday night party yet again." She then added with a lower enthusiasm. Her interest was lost weeks prior, upon beating all possible scores. "Oh and the hedgehog says he lost the ring you signed him, wants a new one.."

"It's hysterical, maybe I liked it better when everyone avoided me." Chuckled the goliath, even tho of course he didn't mean it, no one would miss days of loneliness and rejection. There, his tiny bff showed a genuine grin. "Quit whinin. You are on top of the world like a true hero, Ralphie. "

She wasn't wrong. A lot had changed for Ralph since that fateful day of near apocalypse, four years earlier. The guy was now quite a renowned personality. He could still remember the thrill down his spine when those same eyes that had passed over him for thirty decades finally gave him a curious glance. "Don't get me wrong, I like the attention, but there's this thing called 'me time', you know?" Celebrity life..

"Ay, enough chit-chat, my dear hobo. Let's go check out that new game they plugged in!" Van interrupted. "Sorry kid, I'm not moving." Oh he didn't just say such a thing in front of her. "What?? You wanna hide from blondie until the end of time?" His answer came quick. "I told you yesterday, some of the guys from bad-anon are coming over."

"Aww come on!! I wanna see what it's like!" Her best buddy simply shrugged before heading to the courtyard where he would set the table for the meeting. "Go for it."
