anon, I am so sorry and I mean this in the best way, but I do think episode 5 is the absolute funniest place to have stopped following Twst because shit starts escalating SO fast after that. episode 6 literally starts with a secret government shadow agency breaking down our doors and kidnapping students. zero to a million instantly.

and like...that's not even the zaniest thing so far? Ortho's hacked into the collective human unconscious. there's time travel (sort of). "Crowley might be Malleus' long-lost father" is a serious theory. if you'd told me any of this back pre-episode 6, I would have asked for the link to this unbelievable but highly intriguing fanfic.

my Stephanie Brown hot take is that she should get mad bitches now that she's single in comics. Yes yes shipping BUT the one time she had sex she was punished by the narrative via teen pregnancy. I think she should be allowed to have as much sex as she wants with zero consequences. Could be a lot of sex, could be a little. Danyal and Damian have one last challenge to complete before Ra's determines who will be the next Demon Head - they're to infiltrate a family and learn it's most important secret. The first to learn it and return is Heir.

Damian is sent to Bruce Wayne to learn the civilian identities of the Batman and Robin.

They're to complete their mission independently, maintaining cover the entire time. I'm typing out some hella crazy long kaeya lore thing right now (im not even halfway done and i kinda fell asleep on it coz I was tired), but it led me to review older Kaeya lore things, and then i got hit with the "oh, another one for the kaeya thinking/talking about fate thing. wow" in a surprising location (well, not too surprising considering Fate lives rent free in Kaeya's head)

But yeah, it's the same old idea about Kaeya's dilemma. He keeps mentioning that he wants to go against fate, but he also feels hopeless because how could he challenge something inevitable? I'm actually more impressed by the fact that he can't stop thinking about it...

...It's as if he is still ACTIVELY thinking about what to do for when fate finally catches up with him...

I honestly want to do a deepdive on the skin's full description. There are so many keypoints in it that really delighted me when I read them again (not so delightful for Kaeya who was being all melancholic over a kid asking a single question, but very delightful for me- a Kaeyangst and Kaelore enjoyer)

HM!Odile needs a lil more attention anyway and I am happy to share some vibes :3 HM!Odile moved to Vaugarde with her dad when she was an early teenager, and started studying as a Housemaiden when she was a young adult. 100% motivated by curiosity and spite, fyi. By the time shes in her 40s, she became something like a stand-in lecturer for Dormont's House with a major interest in battle craft and theology. She was losing her passion for the Change faith and going through the motions of daily life by the time the King started freezing Vaugarde in time... But good thing she found a bunch of new family members to rekindle the old love for Changing and growing and learning again while collecting the orbs, right?
