Wanted to draw out a Quinn design that's inspired by Phantom of the Opera as a warmup (since she's a bilateral gynandromorph now and I was wondering if I could play with that some more) and got semi carried away? Heavily doubting I'll switch to this because I don't think I care for the hair, plus I haven't even seen the play, but maybe I'll recycle the idea for a different character (or finish this design, remove the Quinn bits, and sell it as an adopt if ppl are interested in that)

Ok so PTSD, paranoia, anger issues, impatience and a lack of will to live walk into a bar,

Jokes aside, she's pretty fucking mean because she has no sense of social inhibition and could very easily say something hurtful without understanding why it'd be best for her to shut her mouth.

To someone she's willingly verbally hurting, she would absolutely go for the lowest blow possible. Their loved ones and bad decisions WILL get brought into it and she WILL say that shit aloud. Adding onto that, she's a pretty smart creature and can read people's body language pretty well and exert her conclusions from there.

Also, while she's not a wanton killer (anymore), she is 100% a "kill first, ask questions later/never" type. If you end up in her visor and you seem to be a threat? Very few words could save you, and she can't be bribed.

And, you know, all that is all well and good; except life isn't usually a battle field. So when there's no adrenaline to give you a reason not to think, well, you usually end up with a socially awkward and rude person who doesn't know how to entertain a conversation normally. If she met an equally impatient and biting person, then it's just a shitshow waiting to happen.

davrin and rye ingellvar's dynamic continues to be unmatched. davrin invites rook along on the training trip with assan in arlathan forest as a sort of extended hand of peace because they've been getting off on the wrong foot a little bit (rook is gamely like HELL YEAH sounds fun! :) while sweating nervously), and then davrin spends the whole walk squinting at rook -- prancing around in his fancy little mourn watch silk robes getting caught on thorns, gawking at common plants and critters like he's never seen them before, stumbling over roots and laughing awkwardly about it even though davrin hasn't even said anything -- like 'who the fuck is this weird indoor kid, how have they survived this long, and more importantly why are we trusting them to save the world'. all while rook is going 'goddd I'm looking so dumb in front of the cool kid and he already questions every second thing I say or do this sucks'. but. they are both trying, and will keep trying. and this is what matters

Stargazing. Wolfbell is often up late at night. There’s a spot just outside the castle walls that she often goes to when she has big thoughts to think and feelings to process. Looking up at the night sky, she can’t help but wonder, is her home planet, if she has one, rotating any of those many, many stars she sees?
